Turn 19; Split Duel Part 1
In a hidden location, Darkwing along with Song and Digi were waiting in a room. "You want to see me, sir?" A male voice said on the other side of the door. "Come in." Darkwing said and then a man with a wooden hammer mask entered the room. Darkwing then said to the man. "Judge, I have a mission for you."
"Is it retrieving the Type-Makers from that little girl and her friends?"
"No, but it is imported." Song said to Judge. Judge turned to her and then to Digi, who said. "We have learned that the Type-Maker Tracker has activated"
"How is that a problem?" Judge said before Darkwing said. "The problem is that it isn't one of my Fathers Trackers. That little girl and her team managed to find a broken one, probably the one we lost during the museum incident, and repair it. We need you to retrieve or destroy it."
"I see. I'll be going, but I have to ask? Will I be allowed to hold one of the Type-Makers for this mission?" Judge said and Darkwing said. "There is no need for you to collect any Type-Makers, but we'll talk about that when you return."
"I understand sir." Judge said before he left the room and started his mission.
On a starry night, Wendy and David were standing next to a gravestone. Both of them smiled until David disappeared in a flash of flames. *That night, as we counted the stars after the rain passed. We saw a wavering reflection of the world in a falling raindrop.* Wendy then blinked and found herself on the hill overlooking Hokusei as the Union Festival was in full swing. *All beings live with ambivalence, each but a flicker amid these days that fly by.* Wendy left the hill thinking it was a dream and then found her friends and their family having fun. *The flowers that so quickly scatter and the gusting wind. Are proof that this passing moment existed.* Then her Ace Monster along with her friends appeared around then and looked for Darkwing's agents. *The song reaching out far and wide to all who live within this moment. Will urge everyone live in freedom to the very end.* Darkwing then got Song, Digi, and his agent got ready to fight Wendy and her friends. Above them was a Pendulum Arc opening and the silhouette of a dragon inside. *We will find the way. We are all travelers, each carrying a seed of hope." Wendy and Darkwing then started to fight with Wendy using Fairy Code Dragon and Darkwing using some kind of cyborg dragon. *Beginning and ending walk hand in hand.* Darkwing then jumped back and appearing beside him was Tiger, Zero, Red, White, and Black Knight. *A true miracle as time continues its journey.* Fox was behind all of them and created a very powerful Link Circuit. Then as days passed they showed everyone getting ready for the tournament.
It was a sunny day in Hokusei, and everyone was out and about enjoying their day, that included Wendy and her friends. "Why are we out here again?" James said to everyone. Wendy then said to him. "I want to show Maire, Henry, Romeo, and Sherria around."
"Is that a good use of our time?"
"Yeah, besides school is off until after the Union Festival is over. What else are we going to do?" Prank said to James. Then James said to Prank. "Train. You guys know we have to fight people with masks, whether we want to or not."
"We know, but we can enjoy our down time." Sofia said before Rose's phone rang. Rose answered it and said. "Yes? Oh, hey. You finished it? Great, I'll be there soon." Rose then hung up her phone and Wendy said to Rose. "What was that?"
"You remember Caitlin and Iris?" Rose said to them and then James said. "You mean the pair that was fixing that gadget you found after our failed concert?"
"Yeah, them. Well, they had just finished fixing the gadget. So I was going to pick it up." Rose said before she started to walk away. Maire stopped her and said. "Wait, I would like to join you."
"Really? Are you sure?" Rose said to Maire and Maire said. "Yes."
"And I will join you." Henry said and then James said to him. "Why do you want to go?"
"Wherever my lady goes, I follow. Unless she says otherwise." Henry said before Maire said. "I don't have a problem with him coming with us."
"Ok, then let's get going." Rose said and then they started to leave the group. "Hold up! I am coming too." James said as he joined them. The girl and Romeo stood there for a moment and then Sofia said to everyone. "So, should we continue the tour?"
"Yeah, let's go." Bell said before motioning Wendy, Sherria, and Romeo along. As they were walking along, they saw people placing their stands up, and they were looking very happy. "This festival must make everyone feel happy?" Romeo said to the girls. Then Sofia said to Romeo. "Of course. Families are getting back together after spending winter apart and it's time to show off our island pride."
"That's cool. But all of this walking around has made me kind of hungry." Sherria said as her stomach started to growl a little. "How about this place?" Wendy said as she pointed to a building that looked like a cottage. As everyone walked inside, Bell read the sign outside. "Girls! Wait! This isn't a restaurant. It's…" Bell said as she followed them inside. Inside the saw maids, in classic maid outfits, serving people. "…a maid cafe." Bell said as she entered the cafe.
Meanwhile with Rose, Prank, Maire. Herny, and James. They had walked to a small house. "Is this where Caitlin and Iris live, Rose?" Maire said to Rose. Rose then said to her, as she was walking up to the door. "Yeah this is the place." Rose then rang the doorbell, but no one answered the door. As Rose pressed the doorbell again, James said to her. "Is this where Caitlin and Iris wanted you to meet?"
"Yeah. I don't know why they aren't answering the door." Rose said as she tried the doorbell for a third time. Henry then noticed something in the window that showed the living room. Henry was surprised by what he saw inside and then ran to the door. "Henry!? What are–" Prank said as Henry picked Rose and her up before moving them away from the door. Henry kicked the door in and James said as Henry ran inside. "What the heck Henry?!" The others ran inside and saw Henry checking two older women. Rose was shocked and James then said to her. "You know them?"
"Yeah, they're Caitlin and Iris mom's." Rose said and then Maire said to Henry. "Are they ok?"
"Yes, just knock out cold." Henry said before they had some crashing sound from upstairs. All of them ran upstairs, but there were four doors. So they had to split up. The first door, which Rose and Prank checked, was the parents bedroom, but there was no one inside. The second door, which James checked, was the Caitlin bedroom, but there was no one inside it either. The third door, which Henry checked, was the Iris bedroom, but there was no one inside as well. But the fourth door, which Maire checked, was a lab, and inside was Caitlin and Iris, with both of them trapped by a mechanical rope, and Judge holding the tracker and a folded up Dual Board. "In here!" Maire yelled and then Judge jumped out of the window. Once Judge was outside, he activated his Duel Board and started to fly away. However Maire also went out of the window and grabbed onto him before he flew away. The others reached the room and saw Maire and Judge flying away. Henry quickly ran out of the room to follow Maire. James followed Henry, but only after saying to Rose. "You two help them and call the police."
"We're on it." Rose said as she started to free Caitlin and Iris.
Back with the girls and Romeo, they were still standing at the entrance of the maid cafe. "Welcome home, young masters." A maid with long green hair tied in a ponytail said as she walked up to them with a bowl holding scraps of paper. She then said to them. "I am the head maid, Aurora."
"Hello." Wendy said to Aurora. Aurora then said to them as she moved the bowl closer to them. "So who wants to draw?"
"No, uh… Wait? What draws?" Bell said and then Aurora said. "Today, with the Union Festival coming up, we are giving Duelist a chance to win one of our dessert cakes for free."
"Oh. I'll take that challenge." Sherria said, showing her Duel Disk, which was aqua blue. Wendy then said to Sherria. "Are you sure Sherria? You are still new to Dueling."
"It will be fine." Sherria said and then Aurora said. "Ok, Lady Sherria. Please draw a piece of paper from this bowl please." Sherria then did as Aurora asked, and pulled out a piece of paper that had "Time 30:00" on it. "What's this?" Sherria said to Aurora and Aurora said as she turned around. "I'll explain in a second. Please follow me to our Duel Field." The then followed Aurora to a makeshift Duel Field. As Aurora gave a table for Wendy, Sofia, Bell, and Romeo, another maid came up to Aurora with a white Duel Disk that also had digital clock. Aurora then put 30 minutes on the clock and said to Sherria. "For this Duel, there is a special rule."
"And what rule is that?"
"If your Life Points are higher than mine after 30 minutes you win."
"Ok, then…" Sherria said as they both turned on their Duel Disk, with Sherria's dual blade being green and Aurora's dual blade being silver. "Let's Duel!" Sherria and Aurora said as they drew their hands and Aurora started the clock.
Sherria's Hand 5 LP 8000 / Aurora's Hand 5 LP 8000 / Time = 30:00 / Turn 1
"As our honor guest, you may go first." Aurora said to Sherria and Sherria said. "Thank you." Sherria looked at her Hand, and after thinking for a moment, Sherria made her move. "I'll play a monster face down." Sherria said as she placed a monster face down. "And that's uh… That's it." Sherria said, ending her turn. "I guess Sherria is still not used to Dueling yet." Wendy said before Sofia said to her. "Yeah, but she is doing better than you did during your first duel."
"Was it bad?" Romeo said before Sofia said. "Wendy did win, but she summoned a monster she was trying to summon in Defence Mode in Attack Mode." Bell and Romeo laughed a little and Wendy felt embarrassed.
Back with Maire, she was fighting with Judge for the Tracker. "Stop it! You are going to make us crash!" Judge said as he was trying to keep the Duel Board from crashing. It didn't work and they crashed on top of a building that was closed for the day. In the crash, Maire and Judge crashed away from one another and the Tracker landed close to Maire. They both got up and Maire was able to grab the Tracker. Judge then said to Maire. "Hand over that Tracker, little lady."
"No." Maire said before putting the Tracker away. Judge sighed and said. "Then I will have to take it back with force." Judge pulled out a yellow Duel Disk and turned it on, and the blade was midnight black. Maire pulled out a light blue Duel Disk and turned it on, and the blade was dark blue. "Let's Duel!" Marie and Judge said before starting their Duel.
Maire's Hand 5 LP 8000 / Judge's Hand 5 LP 8000 / Turn 1
"Lady's first." Judge said and then Maire said. "All right." Maire said before looking at her Hand. "I'll play two cards face down and summon a monster face down." Maire said as three face down appeared on her field. (Maire's Hand 2) "And with that I end my turn." Maire said, ending her turn.
Maire's Hand 2 LP 8000 / Judge's Hand 5 LP 8000 / Turn 2
"If that's all you have, this won't take long. I draw." Judge said as he drew a card. (Judge's Hand 6) Judge looked at his Hand and said. "I summon Ally of Justice Searcher." Judge said as he summoned a green vehicle monster with search lights. (Judge's Hand 5)
Ally of Justice Searcher / Dark / Level 2 / Machine, Effect / ATK 1400 / DEF 100
"Now, I play Searcher's ability. By sending a card from my Hand to the Graveyard, I can flip your monster into Attack Mode. Oh, and if it has a flip effect it is negated." Judge said as he discarded his card and Searcher shined a light onto Maire's face down. (Judge's Hand 4) Maire's face down revealed itself and it was a fire spirit in the shape of a small dragon.
Huo, The Fire Element Spirit / Fire / Level 2 / Pyro, Effect / ATK 0 / DEF 0
"Huo, The Fire Element Spirit? I've never seen a monster like that, but that won't stop me. Searcher attack her monster!" Judge said and Searcher charged at Maire's monster. Marie then said to Judge. "Did you forget about my face downs? I play my Trap Card, Spirit Mirage." Maire revealed one of her face down that showed spirits of different elements taking different shapes. "Because you attacked Huo, this trap can stop that attack." Maire said a copy of Searcher came out of the Trap Card, but it was all purple and it was heading right for Searcher. Searcher turned around in a flash and returned to Judge field. The copy did the same, and then Maire said to Judge. "And then I can summon an Element Spirit from my Deck as long as it matches Searcher Attribute. So say hello to Yinying, The Dark Element Spirit." Maire said as the copy of Searcher turned into a small purple demon.

"Yet another monster I haven't seen. But that doesn't matter. I'll play this face down and end my turn." Judge said as he placed a card face down and ended his turn. (Judge's Hand 3) Marie then said to Judge as she drew her card. "Time to show you the power of my Deck."
Sherria's Hand 4 LP 8000 / Aurora's Hand 5 LP 8000 / Time = 27:48 / Turn 2
Back at Aurora and Sherria's duel, Aurora said to Sherria. "Very good, Lady Sherria. Now, I draw." Aurora drew her card then looked at it. (Aurora's Hand 6) "For my first move, I am adding Kitchen Dragonmaid to my staff." Aurora said as she summoned a maid with long red hair, a red dragon tail, and had dragon horns on her head. (Aurora's Hand 5)
Kitchen Dragonmaid / Fire / Level 3 / Dragon, Effect / ATK 500 / DEF 1700
"Now when Kitchen is Normal or Special Summon, I can add a Dragonmaid Monster from my Deck to my Hand, but I have to send a Dragonmaid Monster from my Hand to my Graveyard." Aurora said as she added a monster from her Deck to her Hand, then sent a card from her Hand to the Graveyard. "Now it's time for my Battle Phase. And that means I can return Kitchen to my Hand to summon Dragonmaid Tinkhec." Aurora said as Kitchen turned into a mighty red majestic dragon.

"Whoa!" Sherria said, looking at Tinkhec. Bell then said to Sherria. "Sherria relax, your monster is in Defense Mode. You won't take any damage."
"Oh, right." Sherria said before Aurora said to her. "Now Tinknec attack her face down." Tinkhec then fired a fireball at Sherria's face down. As the smoke cleared they saw that Sherria still had a monster and the monster was a jar giving a pleasant smell.
Aroma Jar / Wind / Level 1 / Rock, Effect / ATK 500 / DEF 400
"Sherria? How is your monster still on the field?" Romeo said to Sherria and she said to everyone. "When Aroma Jar is flipped up, it can't be destroyed in battle. Plus I gain 500 more Life Points at the end of this turn."
"Most imperative, Lady Sherria. But now that the Battle Phase is over, I can return Tinkhec to my Hand and summon back Kitchen, but this time in Defense Mode." Aurora said as Tinkhec turned back into Kitchen. "And like last time, I will add a new Dragonmaid monster, then send another to my Graveyard." Aurora said as she took a card from her Deck and sent a card from her Hand to the Graveyard. Aurora then said to Sherria. "I now end my turn. So please draw your card, Lady Sherria." (Sherria's LP 8000 500 = 8500)
Maire's Hand 3 LP 8000 / Judge's Hand 3 LP 8000 / Turn 3
"I draw!" Maire said, drawing her card. (Maire's Hand 4) I'll start by summoning Shui, The Water Element Spirits." Maire said before a small water spirit in the shape of a fish. (Maire's Hand 3)

"Now I will create my Element Circuit!" Maire said creating a Link Circuit. "The summoning condition is 1 monster, so I set Level 2 Yinying, The Dark Element Spirit in the Link Arrow." Maire said as Yinyang became a purple tornado and it hit the bottom arrow. "I Link Summon, Link 1 Qingtong, The Bronze Element Golem!" Maire said as a small armor that had bronze metal appeared on her field.

Then Qingtong started to glow purple under its armor and Judge said to Maire. "What's up with your monster?"
"When Yinying is used to summon another monster, that monster gains a new ability."
"And what ability is that?"
"I'll tell you later. Cause I would rather tell you about this Spell Card. The Ritual Spell, Infusing Ritual." Maire said, as a big circle with a lot of lines leading to a box in the center and 6 circles around the big circle appeared on the field. (Maire's Hand 2) "With this card, by tributing my Level 2 Huo, The Fire Element Spirit and my Level 2 Shui, The Water Element Spirits to Ritual Summon a warrior that has been given the power of fire and water." Maire said as Huo and Shui entered two of the small circles. Then the lines inside the circle started to glow red and blue. The light then entered the boxes and Maire said. "I Ritual Summon, the element soldier of fortune, Level 4 Guyong Bing, The Mercenary of the Element Army." (Maire's Hand 1) The box then was destroyed and out came a male warrior with leather armor, but had a shield on his left shoulder that was glowing blue and his short sword that was glowing red.

"And I am guessing that your new monster has gained two abilities, right?" Judge said before Maire said. "Yes. And before I tell you about any of them, I'll start my Battle Phase." Then Qingtong released a purple glow and fired it at Judge Spell and Trap Card Zone. Judge then said to Maire. "What just happened?"
"Yinying gave Qingtong the ability that when I start my Battle Phase, you can't use Trap Cards."
"That's annoying."
"No, the abilities Huo and Shui are much more annoying."
"What do you mean?"
"I'll show you. Guyong Bing attack his Searcher!" Maire said as Guyong Bing attacked Searcher. And while Searcher tried to counter, but it didn't work, and Searcher was cut in half down the middle. Searcher then exploded and Judge received some damage. (Guyong Bing, The Mercenary of the Element Army ATK 1800 - Ally of Justice Searcher ATK 1400 = 400 / Judge's LP 8000 - 400 = 7600) As the smoke cleared, he saw Guyong Bing point his sword at him and holding a water balloon. Judge then said to Maire. "What is going on?"
"Huo gave Guyong Bing the ability to deal you 500 points of damage when he destroys a monster. And Shui gave him the ability to give me 500 Life Points when he destroys a monster." Maire said as Guyong Bing fired a fireball at Judge and the water balloon at Maire. (Judge's LP 7600 - 500 = 7100 / Maire's LP 8000 500 = 8500) Judge then said to Maire. "You are right. Those abilities are annoying."
"Told you. Now Qingtong attack Judge directly!" Maire said and Qingtong attacked with a power punch that was wrapped in purple energy. (Judge's LP 7100 - Qingtong, The Bronze Element Golem ATK 1000 = 6100) As Judge recovered from Qingtong attack, Maire said to him. "I end my turn."
Sherria's Hand 4 LP 8500 / Aurora's Hand 5 LP 8000 / Time = 22:58 / Turn 3
"Ok, I draw." Sherria said before drawing her card. (Sherria's Hand 5) Sherria looked at her Hand and then she said to Wendy, Sofia, Bell, and Romeo. "Uh, guys? You need to sacrifice one monster or two monsters for a Level 6 Monster?"
"Just one Sherria." Bell said before Sherria said. "Ok. Then I sacrifice Aroma Jar to summon Aromage Bergamot." Sherria's Aroma Jar then disappeared and soon a male mage-like warrior with very long hair appeared on Sherria's field.
Aromage Bergamot / Fire / Level 6 / Plant, Effect / ATK 2400 / DEF 1800
"Now Bergamot attack her Kitchen Dragonmaid!" Sherria said and Bergamot fired a ball of red fragrance at Kitchen Dragonmaid, which sent her flying into a Graveyard portal. Sherria then said to Aurora. "Oh, and Bergamot's ability is in play."
"What ability is that, Lady Sherria?"
"Since my Life Points are higher than yours, all of my Plant Monsters deal you piercing battle damage." Bergamot then gathered the remaining fragrance in the air and fired it at Aurora. (Aromage Bergamot ATK 2400 - Kitchen Dragonmaid DEF 1700 = 700 / Aurora's LP 8000 - 700 = 7300) Then Sherria said to Aurora. "And I uh, play this face down. Then I end my turn."
"Well done, Lady Sherria, but the Duel isn't over, and I don't plan on making it easy." Aurora said with a smile on her face.
Back in Darkwing's hideout, Digi walked into Darkwings office. Inside Darkwing and Song were going over candidates to give the Type Makers too. "Digi, why are you here?" Song said to Digi. Digi ignored her and said to Darkwing. "Sir! Judge hasn't returned yet."
"Then he must have hit some trouble." Darkwing said before Song said. "I'll send someone out to find him."
"No need, I already sent Fable." Digi said to Song. Darkwing said to Digi. "Good, but…" Darkwing then looked at the Type Makers and said to Digi. "...I want you to give a message to Fable, Digi."
"And that would be?"
"To get Judge out of trouble. Because our hunt will soon begin, and I don't want anything to interfere with it." Darkwing said before pulling up a map of Hokusei and it had the real world location of Wendy and her friends.
Please tell it again, this story that I love. I don't mind if it's just a dream.* Wendy was in her room at David house. *If yesterday is past and done, today will pass by too. It makes it seem so fast we'll get there right away!* Wendy was crossing off dates with a pen on her calendar. *Even as time passes, my heart is gonna keep on beating. These are the things that never change!* Wendy put down the pen and looked out of her bedroom window and looked over the city. *Please tell it again, this story that I love. Even if it's a dream, I will always believe and keep moving on! Would you please let me hear your voice ring out again? Those feelings deep down in my heart are feelings that never will change! I'll be here waiting for you.* Wendy then turned off the light and went to bed.
Next time = Split Duel Part 2; Both Duels are still under way. And while Sherria is having a fun duel with Aurora. Judge will show no mercy on Maire. Can Maire win before Judge's allies arrive, and can Henry and James find them first?

And done, sorry for the long post, but I was out of my home country for a while, and am starting a new job. I am still going to do my Fanfiction, it will just take longer, so please be patient and don't ask me to post soon. I'll post them when they are ready. Oh and about Maire and Sherria's Decks. For Maire, I wanted to use a Ritual focus Deck, but there aren't really any good ones that fit with her.
