- Army of the Dead: "what if... there was another zombie test subject" (movie Army of the Dead)
The Las Vengeance team watched as the Zombie queen crawls along besides Burt, she is about to take him away when all of a sudden she goes silent and looks up, even the big guy behind her stills, the pair looking around as if trying to spot something, the others ask Lilly what's going on but she has no idea as this has never happened before, that's when they all hear it, the sound of metal banging and tearing, they follow it towards the wall, and soon a female figure lumbers up from the other side, she was fair skinned, white hair tipped with red in places, the black and whites of her eyes where switched and she was wearing torn clothing of a white patient gown, with a straight jacket that was missing its arms, and army cargo pants torn below the knees, all with splashes of red that was clearly blood, she walked up the edge of the container and let out an ear-piercing cry that the queen replied in kind, this woman then leaped, defying logic in the height and distance she covered, and landed just before the queen.
She stood tall as the queen moved over to her, growling and letting out odd chirps as she got near face-to-face, the team held their ground waiting for a fight if need be, the woman surprised them as she calmly lifted her hand and stroked the queen's face, who closed her eyes in pleasure, the woman then spoke "nice to meet you Athena" that's when a black substance reached out from her fingers and into the queen, soon the queen's body began to change, altering into a far more healthier appearance, the red and white of her eyes turned black making her yellow eyes stand out more, the drastic change shocked the team and more so when the queen spoke "he has told me so much about you".
Scott took this moment to be brave and ask who was she and how did she do what she did, the queen and bodyguard growled but calmed at the woman's hand, she went on to say she was the second test subject of Area 51, just like Richards, or as they call him "Zeus", she had thought she was being cured of an illness while he had volunteered for super solder tests, they had talked while going through tests, getting close, but soon learned the truth, that the tests where for bioweapons, they soon lost their minds and became what was called zombies, he had been transferred to another location, which lead to the Las Vegas event, while she had been kept and further experimented on, but what the government didn't know was that they were really helping her, improving her mind and virus with more virus strands injected into her, giving her back not just her mind but also allowing her to alter herself and other infected of an Alpha level, becoming stronger and more dangerous, even able to sense what other infected where doing, but she kept it hidden, pretending nothing was changing, letting them become lax in security, until she struck, she broke free and torn the facility apart before they could call for help, killing everyone without remorse for what they did to them, after she ran straight here to be with her lovers, she then asks why they are here.
Not seeing reason to lie Scott told her of their mission, the missing woman and the missile, after a moment she looks to the big zombie and gives a mental command, he grabs Burt and drags him away, she tells them they are free to collect their money and to be careful of the non-Alpha's, the ones they are used to, as she cannot command them, and that the woman will be sent to them as there is no need for them, with that she and the queen leaves.
The pair soon come to the other Alpha's and Zeus, she does the same to them all as she did the queen, hugging Richards and Athena while stroking the queen's pregnant stomach, through their minds she tells them of what they must do and they agree, they kill Burt as he is a snivelling worm and the women are released, they head to a section of the wall and quietly climb it, making sure no one was around as they made their leave before the missile struck, with their more human appearance they snuck into a town and gathered new clothes, starting their new lives, hiding in plain view, with no one knowing.
