Looking very bummed that he just got mugged for his cool leather jacket his hellhound friend gave him before, Lincoln felt like he shouldn't have brought it with him in the first place on his way to Stella's house. But it was a little chilly with the wind today and he wanted to keep himself as warm and comfortable as possible. What would Loona think of this? Would she be very pissed at him? When he finally reached Stella's place, he looked sad and rang the doorbell, and there was his female friend. "Hey Lincoln!"
"Hey Stella." Lincoln sighed.
"What's wrong?" his friend noticed how sad he looked. "Are your sisters giving you a hard time again? Probably from the embarrassing bet they lost to."
"No, no, no, it's nothing like that. They were mad, but they weren't mad enough to kill me." Lincoln smirked. "I just got mugged by a scary man with a gun and he forced me to give him my leather jacket that Loona gave me."
Stella looked shocked. "Oh my god, are you ok?"
"Yeah, he didn't hurt me. But Loona might kill me if she finds out I lost my jacket like that."
"Oh come on. I know that she can be mean, but i don't think she would be mad at you for forcing to give up your leather jacket to save your life." Stella pointed. "You did what you had to. It was the jacket or your own life. And we both know what is more important."
"Right. Well i wanted to give you your console back."
Stella's eyes widened in remembrance. "Ah, that's right. Thanks Lincoln"
"Don't mention it." he promptly gave the small console back to his friend.
"And sorry about what happened."
"No, it's not your fault." Lincoln pointed. "Some things like this happen out of nowhere."
"You should call the police about this." said Stella
"yeah, i'll do that in a little while."
At home, Lincoln was sitting on the couch, pouting to himself after he had explained the situation to his whole family. They were all shocked by the event that just happened to the white-haired boy, but they were all relieved he didn't get hurt. "Lincoln, we're so happy you're safe." said Rita
"Yeah, sport." said Lynn Sr. "You did the right and smart thing. You never resist this kind of thing, gun or not."
"I know." Lincoln sighed sadly
"It was either you or that jacket." said Rita
"Yeah Lincoln. It was smart to just give him what he wanted and walk away." Lynn Sr crossed his arms. "All you do is just give those thugs what they want. It's not worth fighting."
"I'm glad i'm ok too." said Lincoln as Luna, Leni, and Lori sat next to him. "But that was the new leather jacket Loona gave me."
"Fuck the leather jacket!" said Lynn Sr, making his wife and the kids shocked at his profanity.
"Lynn Loud Sr!" Rita scolded with her hands on her hips.
"Sorry." the dad looked sheepish. He cleared his throat and said: "Screw the leather jacket Lincoln, there are millions or even billions of leather jackets! But there is only one of you."
Luna nodded her head as she said: "True that, dude. We could have lost you forever. Our only brother." the boy felt his three older sisters hug him on all sides.
"OK, OK, you guys are kinda suffocating me now." he grunted.
"Sorry." said his three sisters as they let him go.
Lincoln looked down and wondered: "What would Loona think? She'll probably rip my arms off if she finds out."
Rita made a scoff and said: "come on, that's ridiculous, honey. I'm sure she'll understand, and be more happy that you are ok. If she bought one jacket for you, she can buy another one for you." then she gave him a pat on the back.
"Well i hope she's having a better day than I am right now."
Meanwhile in Hell
Thing were really getting awkward in Blitzo' apartment. Loona was looking for a perfect apology gift for Blitzo for what she had incidentally put him through. The female hellhound didn't exactly know the kind of perfect gift she should give to her adopted father. As for the eccentric imp himself, he was eating some cheese, begrudgingly drinking some soda, and watching a movie. Peeping at him from her room, Loona had that guilty look on her face again, and decided to come out of her room to check on him
"Uhhhh... hey, Blitzo." she had a nervous smile on her face.
"Loona." Blitzo flatly said as if she was his own enemy instead of his own adopted daughter with his eyes narrowed. He took another big ol bite of cheese, scarfing it down his throat.
"How are you doing today?" asked Loona, trying her best to strike up a conversation with him
"Great." Blitzo replied in a sarcastic voice. "Doing soooo great." and he took a sip of his soda next. "I'm actually surprise you care about me for once."
Silent at first, Loona finally replied: "Look, i know you are probably still pissed off at me, and... I understand why you are. And, i know your chest still probably hurts after all that happened."
"And you can probably guess who got me in the hospital in the first place." he finally looked at her with a begrudging look on his lizard-like face. It made Loona even more guilty and looked away from him. "Now i can't drink any more alcohol for a long while. Not that i hate soda, but still." then he felt another slight pain in his chest. "Ah! Fuck." he gagged.
"Look, how about this: I can get you some ice cream and help you kill that crazy hentai bitch that's been harassing you or staring outside the apartment."
"No." Blitzo said flatly. "I'm through. I don't want to talk to you right now, Loona. I can't even look at you right now."
"Look, I said I was sorry." Loona urged
"Sorry doesn't bring my mom back from the dead, does it?"
"No." Loona meekly admitted.
"No." the imp nodded his head. "So I'm done, ok? You can do whatever the fuck you want, Loona. Because I give up on you. And I'm sorry if I'm not a cool parent to you."
"Please don't make me go back to the pound!" Loona begged, sounding desperate. Anywhere but that fucking shithole!"
"what? No, no, I didn't say that. What I said was I am sick and tired of your constant mean words and snarky insults. Just leave me alone."
Deep down, Loona felt like crying and bowed her head. "Ok. I'll just get out of your hair... or horns."
"Cute." Blitzo flatly said.
Despite how hurtful his words were, Lincoln tried to cling on to what her friends said: he just needed some space and a little time to think things over. Blitzo didn't hate Loona at all. If he did, he would just give Loona the boot and send her hairy ass back to the pound, or just throw her on the streets (literally).
Maybe visiting her first human friend can help cheer her up a little.
"I'm gonna head out for a little while, Blitzo."
The imp did not respond this time. Nevertheless, Loona opened the book and came in the Loud house.
"Didn't anyone ever teach you to knock?" Asked Lana
"I never knock, Lana." Said Loona. "I barge through doors. That's how I roll. Look, I just wanted to know-" she paused as everything was looking a little down and bleak in the household. "What happened?"
"Lincoln got mugged and took the jacket you got him."
"What?" Loona exclaimed in shock. She walked over to Lincoln and knelt down on one knee in front of the couch. "Lincoln, are you ok?"
"Yeah. He didn't hurt me, just forced me to give up my jacket. Please don't be mad, Loona. I'm awful sorry and he had a gun on him. It was either the jacket or-"
"Calm down, Lincoln." Loona chucked. "I'm not mad. You actually did the smart thing. Just give him what he wanted. I'm just glad you're alright." She smiled at him.
"thanks." Lincoln sounded touched. "I'm glad you under-" he was interrupted when Loona was using her nose to sniff around him. "Loona... what are you doing?" He asked
"Sniffing the son-of-bi-" Rita cleared her throat angrily "ugh, Gun that robbed ya."
"Don't tell us you're going out there to kill him, are you?" Asked Lynn.
"Hey, if anyone messes with Lincoln, he messes with me." Turning into her human disguise, she said: "I'll be back in a little while." Then she ran out the door to find the mugger.
"Loona wait!" Lynn Sr tried to stop her, "the police might arrest you for this!"
"Pfft, what the cops don't know won't hurt them." Loona nodded her head before running to find the brute. She had to be quick for the scent of the fucker could be lost at any moment, and the disguised female hellhound had no time to lose. Ultimately, she tracked and found the asshole in an abandoned bar. using her nose again to be sure, Loona's nose was correct, and she barged through the door with her hellhound strength with her left fist like the total badass she was.
There was the guy, going on the internet to look for the highest bidder for Lincoln's stolen jacket, which was on the counter to his left. At first, the fucker looked shocked and startled at who just barged in like that, but then had a grin and let out a small laugh. "Well, well, well, look at what the cat dragged in. Got a pretty lady on the premises."
Loona got angry at the word "cat", and growled. "Do not fucking call me a cat, fucker!" she said
"Ooh, tough talk for a beautiful dame like you." the crook sneered. "Tell me, what brings you to this kind of place." then he gasped with a thought. "Well, if you have some fun with me, you coulda just ask."
The female hellhound had a look of disgust as she walked up to the man in a casual way with her arms crossed. "You have something that belongs to me friend." she looked at the stolen leather jacket. "Hand it over and maybe, just maybe i will give you a quick death. Unless you want to lose your other eye."
The scary man just laughed heartedly at her response before replying: "And what can you do, little lady? Kiss me to death? Furthermore, what reason should i give you this jacket the little white-haired shit gave me? This thing can make me a lot of money online. If you want it, then you gotta take it from my cold, dead hands."
Silent at first, Loona then smirked and replied: "If that's what you want, so be it."
"You really think you can take on a big boy like me? I'll humor you, Sweetheart. Come at me with everything you got."
"As you wish." Loona sang before rushing over to him and grabbing him by the arm and slamming him on the counter, breaking it instantly, making him yelp in pain. Smiling, Loona calmly grabbed the jacket and was about to head out the door to this place when she ducked and a gunshot was heard, hitting one of the steel beams of the interior. She looked back and the man looked pissed as he was holding his gun. "You did not just shoot at me, asshole."
"You've messed with the wrong guy, bitch." the mugger growled. He tried firing at her but Loona rushed up to him and dodged every shot he was firing at her. Loona pulled out a knife and slammed it on the back of the robber's right hand, making him howl in more pain as his hand was bleeding. Trying to pull it out, the knife was stuck to the counter good as he was trying so hard to break free.
"Never call me that either." Loona narrowed her eyes and picked up an empty bourbon bottle, slamming it into the fucker's face, making him yelp again as cuts formed on some parts of his scary mug. Then without warning, Loona jabbed his remaining eye with two of her right fingers, making him howl and shriek and scream in pure agony, and proceeded to beat him and rip his legs off, leaving him alone to bleed to death. Smiling, Loona took the jacket from the table next to the door and happily walked away.
Going all the way back to the house, she turned back to her normal form as she set foot inside. Lincoln was happy to get his jacket back, and he couldn't help but ask: "Did he give you a hard time?"
"Nope. Hardly made me break a sweat on me." Loona looked confident. "here you go, buddy."
"Did you make him suffer?" asked the goth sister
"Lucy!" the parents scolded her
"Don't worry. He suffered before i... finished the job."
Both parents gave a look of horror at her ruthlessness.
"What? I did you guys a favor." said Loona. "Someone messes with Lincoln, he messes with me. Except i make it worse for that guy."
"Thanks, Loona." said Lincoln.
"Don't mention it."
"So, how are things going with you and Blitzo?"
The female hellhound frowned and looked away. "Can i talk to you about that in private?"
"Sure thing." Lincoln frowned after. "But we'll do it in Lisa's bunker. The walls are too thin to be kept private."
"Ah."
"Why is it that everyone keeps getting in my bunker, even though there is a difficult password in it?" said Lisa in an exasperated voice
"It's your birthday!" her family members replied in annoyance.
Nevertheless, Loona followed Lincoln to Lisa's own bunker and opened the hatch door after putting the obvious password on the thing. As soon as the hatch door closed with the mechanism clunking heavily. "OK Loona, what's going on?"
"Lincoln... i need your help. I wanna find the perfect gift for Blitzo. But i don't even know what kind to give him. I tried having a normal conversation with him, but i think he still hates me."
"I told you, Loona. He doesn't hate you. Blitzo just needs to have some time alone. And if you want to give him a present, give him the most thoughtful kind of thing you can give him."
Silent, Loona finally said: "Yeah. I guess your right."
"Maybe you can give him a box of chocolates or an apology cake for him. My dad can help you make it."
Smiling, Loona was touched, feeling very lucky to have Lincoln Loud as a friend of hers, and she hugged him without warning, making Lincoln smile back. "Look, why don't we do something like sit in Verosika or Katie's hot tubs? That kind of stuff clears bad shit."
"Sounds good."
