Honestly the hardest part of living in the past was making sure not just anyone learned they had knowledge they shouldn't. Dumbledore had agreed to the plan to save Moody without issue and was willing to allow Crouch to go about his machinations to make sure Voldemort did not alter his plans. Still, Harry could tell even the old wizard was unhappy at not taking more direction action.

They created a magical double of Mad-eye Moody, that would serve as a source of hair for the imposter. The double would not move or talk, which would have given the game away if Crouch had not kept the real Moody compliant and ready to harvest with the Imperious Curse.

"A very good idea, Harry." Dumbledore confirmed after they had gotten Alastor out of the trunk and replaced it with the copy. "I have taken measures to try and convince Crouch that he successfully broke Alastor's mind and the Auror retreated into himself to escape the horror of being a Death Eater's prisoner. I do believe he will buy it completely."

Alastor Moody was looking better after just a week in the Room of Requirement. Then again, he had a much shorter confinement than the first time. He was itching for revenge, so Harry had agreed to bring the old man in on the truth.

"From the future, eh? And you plan to use that knowledge to do away with the Dark Lord? You must have been a hell of an Auror in your future, Potter."

Moddy had growled after they told him everything. He had been the most accepting of the weird truth.

Ginny kissed Harry once they were under the cloak before they started the walk back to the tower.

"Good idea, Harry."

He grinned, sure that he would not lose this high for the rest of the night.

Halloween approached and with it, the promise of the exchange students and preparations for the Triwizard cup. All of the Weasleys and their future spouses had to use a special potion mixed with Occlumency to keep Crouch from discovering their secrets as they were one by one put under the Imperious Curse. Harry was sure Crouch was on the verge of discovering some very adult thoughts Harry had about an older Ginny, but he had been able to direct him to a scene of him enjoying a meal at the Burrow. Other than that, Harry had to at least pretend at first to shrug off the spell. By the end of the lesson, he had thrown it off completely of course, which he could have done at any time.

Ginny was waiting for the trio as they arrived at the entrance hall. They looked out at the sky, not really caring about the Durmstrang students. They were waiting for Fleur to appear, the last of the Weasley spouses. Then the flying carriage appeared on the horizon. The others stepped away from Harry as the carriage touched down. He only had a moment to register he had been made a sacrifice when a blonde young woman came dashing out of the carriage and thrown herself at him. The students who were not in the know all looked in confusion as Fleur kissed him on both cheeks.

"'Arry," she said though he could tell she was forcing her accent this time. "It's so good to see you again. Come, my friends. These are my English friends I told you I met over the summer! And this is 'Arry Potter, the boy who lived!"

Harry was surrounded by French wizards and witches, all eyeing him appraisingly. He saw the other Weasley crew stifling giggles as he was henpecked.

Ginny came to his rescue. "Alright, that is enough. Friends of the family can gawk for free, but the rest of you will be directed to his public affairs manager."

"Oh yeah?" A voice came from the crowd and young Gabbi appeared. She had noticeable less accent than Harry remembered, making him wonder if that had been an act for his sake. "And who pray is this 'public affairs manager'?"

Ginny winked at Harry. "You're looking at her. Photos are five sickles each, a galleon with a signature. If we can form a nice and orderly queue…"

But most of the French students had lost interest and went to stand near their Headmistress. Harry had to force himself not to think of her as Mrs. Hagrid, as she was in their time.

"Well done, Ginny." Fleur gave her a hug. "I told my sister everything." She said losing her accent again. "She had sworn herself to secrecy."

Gabrielle looked over the group. "So, this is the red bottle rocket that your friend Harry chose over me? I must say, they both have excellent taste." She flicked her hair and strutted off to join a group of their friends.

Harry had to reach over and close Ginny's mouth.

"She's part Veela, dear. It shouldn't be surprised she doesn't conform to societies ideas of romance." Fleur chided them. "Bill and I have invited the occasional witch into our bed. She however will respect your wish to remain monogamous."

Harry nodded, wishing he could take Ginny in his arms to reassure her at that moment, but they were in the open.

Ginny sighed. "Maybe there is a multiverse out there, were some arrangement between the three of us works out. But here, I'm happy as we are."

Harry nodded in agreement. "Perhaps you're right. Anyways, it's good to see you again, Fleur."

She nodded and struck a very familiar haughty stance. "Of course, where would the Weasley's be without me? Riddle won't know what hit him." She lowered her voice. "How is Bill? I miss him terribly, even though he came to me during the Summer Holidays."

Ginny nodded as the three of them watched the ship arrive with Krum on it. "He's a bit of a mess, to tell the truth. Keeping himself busy with work until he can see you again."

Fleur flicked her hair. "Very well. Maybe I borrow your owl, Harry? I was not able to bring one of my own and while I do adore Hogwarts, I do not trust their school owls."

Harry smiled. "Be my guest. Hedwig won't remember you, of course, but I can bribe her with some bacon."

She reached over and hugged him again. "You're the best brother-in-law out of the bunch."

George and Ron, who were listening with Fred, frowned at Harry. He laughed at their expressions. "Come on guys. You all voted me your favorite brother-in-law too."

Ron muttered. "That's because you are our own brother-in-law. You're the only person mental enough to love our sister… OUCH!"

He screamed as Ginny lovingly kicked him in the shin.

The lead up to the feast and the choosing of the names was the same as last time, even down to Fred planning to try and fool the age line. Geroge was encouraging him, but was worried that his mental age would really do it and then cause issues with Cedric being the champion. George was also worried about Harry, who he saw was spending as much time with Ginny as he could get away with.

"He's just nervous." Angelina kissed his cheek. "After all, he knows most of the school is going to rise against him for something he didn't even do or want. Well, last time anyways. You know he is going to be the only one going to that Graveyard in June via the portkey."

George shuddered. Harry was one of his younger brothers, would have been even if he had not married his sister. So, he felt justified to be terrified for the hero of the wizarding world.

"I know, Angie. Still, I need something to take my mind off the stress."

Angelina sat on his lap and looked him in the eyes. "How about a prank then, oh master of mischief?"

George grinned. "That sounds like the ticket. Maybe one that ends with Fred and Katie finally getting together?"

Angelina giggled. "You read my mind, Georgie."

They stopped talking as their lips expressed their emotions.

Next chapter, we will see the choosing and the reactions to that, as well as begin to move towards the first task. Also, we will see George and Angelina attempt to hook up Fred and Katie Bell. See you in August. Please consider checking out my other works on this site or my original works at Royal Road, links are below. I am working on setting up a blog for writing as well. Not sure when that will go live. See you later!
