I myself studied martial arts where the tiger and dragon was a big influence. I wanted to bring it back and give it my own twist.

Suddenly, Akane feels a hand on her wrist and she is pulled up. Once at the top, Akane takes a breath and is pulled aside by Nabiki.

''Akane! Are you okay?'' Nabiki asked worriedly as she sat next to Akane who was coughing violently.

Before Akane could answer, loud footsteps were heard and two arms wrapped around her. She looked up and saw that it was Ranma hiding his face.

But his body said otherwise, he was shaking with fear.

''Ranma, I'm okay. Nothing to worry about, honestly. Nabiki helped me.'' Akane said panting..

Ranma looked up, blue eyes shining with the tears he was holding back. He looked at Nabiki. "Thank you, Nabiki."

'' No problem. But what's the reason...'' Nabiki was about to ask why there was a fight until she heard a shout from Ukyo, who quickly ran towards them with a grin until she saw Ranma looking at her with a look that made her shudder, was Ranma angry now?

''Ucchan! What do you think you're doing?'' Ranma asked angrily.

''Ran-chan! You won't tell me anything! And you're just sitting around being stupid! As a fiancée, I should know too!'' Ukyo snapped at him.

''I challenged Akane to a duel! I won so you're mine!''

Ranma made a fist and his fingers cracked loudly. Ukyo took a step back, Ranma's fighting spirit was full of anger.

It stunned Ukyo and even scared her, this wasn't the Ranma she knew.

Suddenly Ranma lunged forward to attack. Ukyo's arms shot up to protect herself but no attack came from Ranma.

When Ukyo looks up she sees the back of Akane standing in front of her with her arms out in front of her to hold Ranma down.

Behind Ranma was Ryoga holding him in a choke hold that Ranma was trying to get out of.

''Ranma! Control yourself! '' Ryoga shouted with difficulty.

''Ryoga-kun! Throw him in the pool.'' Akane said.

No sooner said than done. Ryoga gave Ranma a throw and with a splash Ranma landed in the water and came up as Ranma-chan and spit out of the water.

''What happened?'' Ranma-chan asked. The impact of the cold water and transformation made Ranma forget what was going on.

Ryoga, Akane and Nabiki sighed in relief as Ranma-chan climbed out of the pool and looked at Akane and Ukyo.

"Weren't you guys fighting?" Ranma-chan asked and Akane walked over to her Ranma.

''Come on, we need to put on dry clothes. Otherwise we'll get sick.'' Akane said and Ranma-chan nodded her head and followed Akane to school.

"Ran-chan..." Ukyo said softly before Ryoga grabbed her wrist and took her to a quieter place.

Once there, Ryoga ordered Ukyo to sit down and listen carefully.

''Are you completely screwed?!'' Ryoga growled and Ukyo glared at him.

''Says the one chasing Akane-chan.''

'' Not at this moment. Do you really have no idea how Ranma is feeling right now?'' Ryoga said.

''He doesn't sleep well and he's not happy. So?'' Ukyo said indifferently.

''Damn Ukyo! Ranma doesn't just have trauma for nothing! I was there... in China and last night... Cologne didn't say anything for not making it more difficult than it already is!''

"You're hiding things too!" Ukyo said, angry at Ryoga's half-explanation.

Ryoga made a fist and hit the ground and hissed.

Fine! She wanted to know what those two didn't want to tell, then he will do it to make it clear that she had already lost Ranma.

''You lost Ranma, a long time ago. Like I lost Akane-san. That's a fact.'' Ryoga said with a sigh and Ukyo looked at Ryoga questioningly.

'' What do you mean?''

"Yesterday, at the dojo, Ranma and Akane-san got into a huge argument," Ryoga said.

"That's what Akane-chan said too..." Ukyo said.

'' Suddenly, Akane-san said that she would make her feelings for Ranma known once she defeated the three suitors of his. She wanted to stand next to Ranma with pride.'' Ryoga said and Ukyo swallowed, where was this story going?

'' Ranma said... that Akane herself was his pride... and out of nowhere, they kissed.'' Ryoga said slowly and Ukyo placed a hand over her mouth that had fallen open.

''Hold on! They kissed each other for the second time? Like the first time? That was just a light kiss.'' Ukyo said but Ryoga shook his head.

''No Ukyo. This was the third time and this time... it wasn't a light kiss. Yes, it hurt a lot to see them like that. Ukyo, we have lost the battle for their hearts."

"I don't believe you." Ukyo said and stood up. ''I'm Ranma's adorable fiancée. He will come to me."

Ukyo ran away and Ryoga got up and walked back to the school building. What a mess was this.

He would wait at the exit until school got out, he didn't know how to get back to the Tendo Dojo anymore.

Meanwhile, Happosai had sat down at Neko Hanten's table and ordered a large order of meat buns.

''Great-grandmother, Happy is here.'' Shampoo shouted and Cologne came sprinting on her staff.

'' Happosai! I have something to show you. Kodachi of the Kuno family has been attacked by something that I don't even have information about. Maybe you know.'' Cologne said and gave Happosai the photo.

Happosai took the photo and studied it carefully. And he was thinking. He had seen this before, something similar but on someone's back.

When Happosai was still young, about 20 years old, he once found an old man in China lying injured on the ground.

He was certainly in his 50s, perhaps older and defeated by his master.

"I assume you knew the legend of the Four Symbols?" Happosai said. "Seiryuu, Suzaku, Byakko and Genbu..."

''Who are they? Shampoo don't know name.'' said Shampoo.

''Those are the Japanese names of the Four Symbols. We know Seiryuu as Meng Zhang, the Azure Dragon. Suzaku as Ling Guang, the Vermillion Bird. Byakko as Jian Bing, The White Tiger and Genbu as Zhi Ming, the Black Turtoise. '' Cologne explained as Mousse answers the phone when it rings.

'' That's right. In China you have 4 villages that honor the Four Symbols and their foundation is the martial arts?'' Happosai asks Cologne, who nods.

"But no one knows where those villages are, Happy."

'' Right. But when I was young I once helped an old man who had been defeated and banished from the village by his master.
He came from the village of Byakko, the White Tiger. He too had those injuries like Miss Kuno. And he told me something interesting. A legend he said.
That hundreds of years ago, the daughter of the leader of Byakko had fallen in love with one of the sons of the leader of Seiryuu.
And that son had also fallen in love with her. But the happiness of the two was not shared by the families and so the daughter and son ran away.
But they were found and brought back and they married the partner assigned to them.
Both fulfilled their duty as partners but were consumed by heartbreak and eventually died," Happosai said.

Shampoo wiped away a tear. "But what are those stripes?" she asked.

'' That man said that the daughter was an excellent fighter with her own techniques. Seven to be precise. Her lover was also an excellent fighter, although those techniques are not known. But the daughter had written them down in a bound book, which would always find her so that when she was reborn she could learn the techniques again."

"Happosai, are you telling me that the reincarnation of the Byakko legend is here?" Cologne said and Happosai shook his head yes.

'' Yes. When I see these injuries, all I can think of is that story.'' said Happosai, who looked up when he saw Mousse approaching.

''Mrs. Kuno just called. She can't remember anything about the attack. Except it happened very quickly.'' Mousse said.

"Happosai, inform the Tendos and the Saotomes. If the person in question is still here we have a big problem.'' Cologne said and saw Happosai thinking seriously.

"What's wrong, Happy?" Cologne asked.

''What size bra cup would she have?''

Ranma-chan wrung out her Chinese shirt on the porch. Good thing Ranma hadn't used hot water yet.

When he came back as a girl with Akane, Ranma had to start training right away. Soun wasn't there so Genma trained Ranma alone. And they had their usual crowd.

Nodoka, Kasumi, Nabiki and Akane. Ryoga had gone on another journey, Well, journey... Ryoga had once again gone the wrong way and gotten lost.

The training ended in the water and Panda Genma was gnawing on bamboo. Ranma-chan knocked off his shirt and sighed.

It was late in October and Ranma-chan was sneezing. Akane stood, grabbed a cloth and dried Ranma-chan's hair and sat next to him.

''Ranma, when do you think Cologne will get a message?'' Akane asked.

'' No idea. I hope soon.'' Ranma-chan said looking at Akane with a soft gaze. '' Why?''

''Cologne had suggested we go to another place as holiday. I was thinking..." Akane said slowly.

Nodoka came with warm water for Ranma and Genma and both returned to their original forms.

''Where did you want to go, Akane-chan?'' Kasumi asked.

"I was thinking about the Doll Inn..."

Ranma froze next to her. "Akane..."

''Ranma, it's not just for you...it's for me too. ''

They looked at each other. Nodoka didn't understand anything so Nabiki explained everything. When the story is over, Soun had returned with Cologne with him.

Cologne has a letter in her hand.

''I just got word from China. The Elder Council had written a letter to Saffron. After a long search they found part of your happiness.'' Cologne said and everyone cheered. Except Ranma, but he had stood up and was looking at Cologne in amazement. '' Really? They found it? '' Ranma asked.

'' Yes. I have to write Kiima a letter back where she can find you, although I heard you are planning a trip to the Doll Inn. I think it's the perfect place.'' Cologne said and Ranma got goosebumps.

''When can we go? The sooner Ranma gets better, the better it will be for everyone.'' Nodoka said.

'' In 2 weeks. Ryoga should be there too.'' Cologne said.

After the plans were made and Kasumi reserved the rooms at the Doll Inn, Ranma stood in the dojo with his eyes closed.

Part of his happiness had been found. Finally! But what did he have to do for it? Even that Old Ghoul couldn't tell him. Ranma hoped that if he got it back, he could be happier, even if just a little bit. Even if it was only a fraction. He wanted to be able to laugh with feeling again. Show his mother that he was doing well. Giving Akane a smile as she cooked a good meal again.

Meanwhile, P-chan had come in and Akane was very happy and hugged the little piglet.

''P-chan, you smell a bit. Let's go to the bathroom and I'll clean you up with a washcloth.'' Akane said as she stood up and held a panicked P-chan in her arms.

Once in the bathroom, Akane grabbed a washcloth and walked to the shower where she wet it and started scrubbing P-chan.

Ryoga breathed a sigh of relief, Akane wasn't about to give him a bath.

Ranma walked into the living room where everyone was watching TV. Ranma sat down but didn't watch TV. His mind was elsewhere.

How would it feel to kiss Akane with some of his happiness? Ranma could still feel Akane's soft lips on his and even at that he couldn't help but want a little more.

But his manhood didn't cooperate. Ever since the events, Ranma couldn't get in that state anymore and that hurt his pride in a way.

''Where's Akane?'' Ranma asked absently.

''Oh she's in the bathroom with P-chan. She's giving him a bath right now.'' Nodoka said.

It took a moment for Ranma to realize what his mother said and looked up in shock. At that moment the house was filled with a scream.

''KYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!''

"Akane!" Ranma shouted, shooting up and running up the stairs.

Once in the bathroom, he saw Akane frozen against the wall, looking in fear at the tub where Ryoga was floating unconscious with a bump on his head.

The family came to watch and saw the scene.

" Ranma-kun, are you taking Akane with you? We'll take care of Ryoga." Soun said.

Ranma gently took Akane's hand and led her to her bedroom. Ranma put Akane down on the bed and sat next to her.

The silence was thick and Ranma had no idea what Akane would do.

"Would you have told me, Ranma?"

"Akane...would you have believed me?"

Akane shook her head, no, she wouldn't have believed Ranma.

" I gave enough hints when Ryoga aka P-chan was there. Akane, you have every reason to be mad at him, just know, he also saved us several times, even as P-chan." Ranma said.

"He knows almost all my secrets, he saw me change clothes..."

"I think you can give him some blows but forgive him. Akane, he is not only my rival but also my friend, the same thing our fathers have."

Ranma looked over and saw tears on Akane's cheeks. She had lost her pet, a friend who had betrayed her trust, of course she was upset.

" Akane, I don't know… how to dry your tears…" Ranma said uncertainly.

Akane looked up when Ranma said that and wiped her tear away from her cheek with his thumb.

Kasumi walked in and saw them sitting together and smiled.

"Ranma-kun, Ryoga-kun is awake and asking about you." Kasumi said and Ranma stood up.

''Kasumi-neechan, thank you.'' Ranma said and left Akane's room.

Kasumi looked at her little sister.

"'Akane-chan, can I talk to you for a moment?'' Kasumi asked in her sweet voice.

Ooh Ukyo, why must you be so blinded? And Ryoga, what will you do now that your secret has been revealed?

And I'm still figuring out how to get Kuno mad, lol.
