Chapter 6: The Romance Date Begins
The next morning, Blu woke up to see that Jewel is still sleeping. Nico and Pedro flew to the hollow to check up on Blu.
"Good morning blue bird." Nico and Pedro greeted their spix macaw friend.
"Good morning guys." Blu said.
"Well how did it go?" Pedro asked him.
"Well." Blu said in a nervous way. "I asked Jewel if she would like to go to the Samba Club with me."
Nico looked at his spix macaw friend. He is waiting for his response. "Did she accept the Samba Club party as a date?" Nico asked him.
"Of course she accepted my date offer." Blu smiled.
"That is amazing Blu." Pedro said.
"I am very happy that I have the beautiful girl in the world." Blu said.
Nico and Pedro gave each other high fives as a way to show their accomplishment to their dear friend.
"We will see you later at the Samba Club tonight." Nico said. He and Pedro took off from Blu and Jewel's hollow to make preparations for their date and proposal.
Blu see his girlfriend finally woke up from her sleep and her boyfriend is smiling at her. She hug him. He hugs her back
"Good Morning Pet." Jewel cooed as she kissed Blu on the cheek. "Who were you talking to?"
"I was talking to Nico and Pedro. That's all." Blu answered her.
Jewel looked at her boyfriend with a glare. "Did Nico and Pedro come to the hollow and asked about our date today?" She asked.
"No, No." Blu lied.
"Okay then. I believe you." Jewel said.
"You want to start the date now?" Blu asked her.
"Yes Blu." Jewel said.
"Let's get started honey." Blu said.
Blu and Jewel got mangoes for breakfast then lunch they have grapes. Jewel have the best date she ever had with Blu.
It is sunset. Blu and Jewel left their hollow, the couple have made it to a trolley that would bring them to the Samba Club where they can dance. The time have come for Blu to be romantic for Jewel. Blu's girlfriend Jewel enjoy the trolley ride with her boyfriend. The trolley where Blu and Jewel sit on its rooftop so they can see the beautiful view of the city Rio De Janeiro.
"The view of the city is beautiful." Jewel said.
"I know right." Blu smiled.
"Yeah." Jewel said. "The trolley ride is when you tried to tell me that you love me when the flower petal flew in your mouth." She smiled as she put her left wing around her dark blue boyfriend.
"I remember that. I almost choked to death." Blu chuckled.
"Relax sweetie. I know that you loved me. I am grateful that you saved me from Nigel and when you jumped off the plane to save my life. The moment you said we were chained to each other birds. We share our first kiss." Jewel said.
The young blue macaw couple shared a very passsionte kiss that lasted for a few minutes. Blu's eyes began to set sight of the white tent which is the Samba Club.
"Jewel. We are here. I saw the white tent of the Samba Club." Blu said.

"So romantic." Jewel said. "The trolley ride reminds me of the evening when you were going to tell me that you loved me when that flower petal flew in your mouth." Jewel smiled as she hug her dark blue boyfriend. Blu hugs her back.
"I remember that. I almost choked to death. Rafael was telling me to tell you how I feel." Blu chuckled.
"Relax my love." Jewel said. "I knew you love me. You saved me from Nigel and when you jumped off that plane to save my life. I knew it was true love between us."
The young couple shared a passionate kiss that lasted for a few minutes before Blu's eyes began to see the sight of the white tent which is the Samba Club.
"Jewel. We are here. I see the white tent of the Samba Club." Blu said.
"Oh we are here." Jewel said.
Blu and Jewel flew off the trolley's roof top and headed right their way to the Samba Club where their pre-engagement date would begin. The couple walked into the white tent that was surrounded by colorful lights and there is a crowded by dozens of party birds who had come to the club so they can have a good time with all of their friends. Blu and Jewel is amazed at the colorful lights.
"Pedro look." Nico said as he was pointing at their two spix macaw friends.
"They are here." Pedro said.
"We should greet them." Nico said.
Pedro nooded his head in agreement.
The two Samba birds flew over to where Blu and Jewel is walking at.
"Well, well if it isn't our favorite love birds Blu and Jewel." Nico looking at his favorite couple.
"I am glad you guys made it." Pedro said.
The four friends greeted their hello to each other. Nico and Pedro decide to talk to Blu for a second.
"Jewel, can me and Pedro borrow Blu for a second?" Nico asked her.
"Of course." Jewel smiled.
Nico and Pedro grabbed Blu's wings and brought him to the side of the tent so Jewel won't hear them.
"Okay Blu boy. You and Jewel have finally arrived at the Samba Club." Nico said to Blu. "Now you should pick out some very special songs that you can sing for Jewel."
"Special songs you say." Blu said.
"Yes. It got to be a romantic song." Nico said.
Blu is thinking of special songs that meant for him and Jewel. He loves her so much and he wants to do a special occasion. After listening to Nico's advice, Blu decides to sing a special song to Jewel.
"We got list of special songs for you Blu." Pedro said as he hands Blu the paper of special songs. Blu looked at the list of special songs.
"Guys I pick the special song I am going to sing to Jewel." Blu said.
"What is it Blu?" Nico asked him.
"I will sing The Matrimony By Wale." Blu said.
"Excellent choice." Pedro said.
"Blu, give your girlfriend Jewel the rose bonquet." Nico give him the rose bonquet.
"Okay I will." Blu said.
Blu went back to see his girlfriend Jewel.
"Blu there you are." Jewel said.
"I had a quick discussion with Nico and Pedro." Blu said.
"Okay." Jewel said.
"Here, this is a rose bonquet." Blu gives her the flower.
"Wow thank you Blu, I will put it on right now." Jewel said.

The couple shared a romantic kiss for one moment before Nico interrupted to make his announcement about Blu and Jewel. The crowd went silent just to hear Nico and Pedro have to say about their two spix macaw friends.
"Alright listen up everybody." Nico announced. "Blu wanted to treat Jewel to a date to express his love for her. He have requested for us to play romantic songs that is very dear to him and his girlfriend."
"Nico is right guys." Pedro flying around the club and landed in front of the stage. "Blu is going to show love to his girl right here and right now. He is going to sing to the girl of his dreams! Give it up for the bird, Blu!" Pedro said and the crowd of birds cheered as Blu walked to the stage.
"Hi guys. I am going to sing a romantic song for my beloved Jewel. She is my heart, my everything, and my girlfriend. This song is for her." Blu said as he winks at Jewel. The crowd of birds cheered.
"Hit it guys and let's make the music romantic." Nico told the club's band as they began to play the romantic song that Blu plans to sing.

"Here I go." Jewel said as she walk to the stage.

"Hi everyone. I got a song. It's about my boyfriend Blu." Jewel said to the crowd. The crowd of birds cheered. Jewel smile at Blu and wink at him. Blu smiled at his girlfriend and wink at her back. The club band start playing their instruments.
