In Autumn of 2009, an animated movie called Turtles Forever premiered on American TV screens as the grand finale of the TMNT 2003 cartoon. While the concept had merit—three teams of Turtles joining forces to take on a bigger, badder Shredder—the execution was hampered by a lack of information, not to mention a pitiful portrayal of the Fred Wolf Turtles.

This project is meant to represent what could have been, if the writers behind "Turtles Forever" had access to all 10 seasons of the 1987 cartoon, plus, were able to get back the Fred Wolf series cast and the soundtrack—NONE of that stupid, half-assed attempt at sounding even vaguely like the theme song [YUCK!]. Mostly inspired by the fanmade edit known as "The Cowabunga Cut", painstakingly crafted by one Risinger Productions, aka Marvelrocks616 on Reddit. Thanks, pal—we couldn't have done this without your guidance!

I'd also like to dedicate this to the memory of one Peter Renaday, aka the voice behind Master Splinter, plus April's cowardly rival Vernon Fenwick. Thanks for being one bodacious sensei.

PROLOGUE:
New York City, New York
10:30 PM

A full moon hung high over the City That Never Sleeps, casting its pale glow over a skyline that seemed serene, at least on the surface. But appearances were deceiving tonight, because at that moment, a technology firm was being ransacked by the Purple Dragon Syndicate.

Outside, gang members scurried like rats, loading crates of stolen tech into an unmarked truck. Among them, a thug with an eyepatch—known as Scales—paused to pull a communicator from his pocket. With a flick of his wrist, a tiny holographic figure flickered to life, projecting the stern visage of their leader, Hun.

"Boss, we're in," Scales said.

"Excellent," smiled Hun. "...and the goods?"

"Tons of high-tech loot—just like you said, boss," Scales replied, nodding toward the truck as more crates were stacked inside. "Just like you said."

But as they were packing up and getting their things, from the top of a nearby building, four individuals peered out, their true faces obscured by the light of the moon. Whatever their reason, they all realized that what was going on had to be bad. So naturally, they sprang into action and off the rooftop.

"LOOK OUT!" one of the syndicate's goons managed to shout, but his warning came too late—as the beatdown began…
