Hello Ya'll! What up? What up? What up? What up?
As stated on my profile page, I always have AU ideas rolling around my head, but it's not easy to convert all of them into full fanfiction stories, so I decided to put the ideas I have on hold on my profile just so I can still get the concepts out there and in case anyone who reads them finds them interesting. But I decided to make an official fic about the info regarding this one AU I because it is currently my biggest hyperfixation, and I've already planned so far that the info on my profile page is getting too long.
I absolutely fell in love with the Youtube series Murder Drones by Glitch Productions, and I was so fascinated by the concept of The Absolute Solver, that as usual, my brain started playing around with it in my other favorite medias. So basically, this is an info summary of "Solver Izuku AU," a hypothetical scenario involving Izuku possessing the Absolute Solver.
Pre-canon
*In this AU, the Earth in the BNHA world is not the original Earth, but an exoplanet that was specifically designed and terraformed to resemble Earth Prime; hence the BNHA world does exist in the Murder Drones universe. Earth was already degrading, hence why JCJenson tried finding a suitable planet humanity could permanently relocate to if needed, while the rest of the exoplanets were for mining resources.
*The BNHA exoplanet fit all the criteria for a replica of Earth, however, what the humans didn't know was that the planet was native to specific micro-organisms that could affect both organic and non-organic matter. The worker drones terraforming the planet were the first to be infected by these micro-organisms, and as a result, they gained sentience and developed their own personalities; the drones that formed their own consciousness were recognized for their eyes being a different color from the original pale blue all worker drones were programmed to have.
*Cyn was originally a worker drone from the BNHA Earth, who got shipped to Earth Prime, but was eventually marked for disassembly and thrown away without being properly disassembled. As a result of being an AI who possessed a personality quirk due to the microorganisms from the BNHA Earth, when she self-rebooted, her system and said microorganisms underwent a severe mutation, creating the Absolute Solver, followed by the pre-canon events of Murder Drones.
*After Earth prime was destroyed, the human population that took up residence on the BNHA Earth either disassembled or exiled all drones on the exoplanet to prevent another Cyn incident from happening. In addition, they erased their existing evidence of drone technology along with their history of space colonization, so that over time, the human population would forget that the planet they were living on was not the original Earth without anyone being the wiser.
*Luckily, the microorganisms native to the planet had infected humanity as well, causing them to develop meta-abilities, which became their focus of interest and allowed their past knowledge to fade away. Only a select few in the governments of the world, along with what remained of the space program, had clearance to know the whole truth, and were tasked with ensuring the public remained oblivious as well as monitoring the planet in case other exoplanets attempted to make contact.
*Before the core collapse on Copper 9, while the humans there were studying the Absolute Solver, they were also conducting experiments to see if they could use drone cores to prolong human life: taking advantage of how drones that are not properly disassembled have the chance of self-rebooting all on their own, they surgically implanted the cores of some of their drones that had been terminated into the bodies of humans who had recently lost their lives.
*Three of these subjects turned out to be a success, as the cores that were put into their bodies self-rebooted with no changes, bringing them back to life and essentially giving them immortality: these subjects were Hisashi Midoriya(Subject 039), Anan Kurose/Space Hero 13(Subject 013), and an OC(Subject 005).
*The three of them realized though, that Copper 9's methods of trying to understand the Solver were too dangerous and decided to escape Cabin Fever Labs together and flee to the BNHA Earth, as it was the one drone-free planet humans had colonized, hence it was the perfect place to leave their pasts behind and start fresh.
*What they didn't know, however, was that their cores had become infected by the Absolute Solver's code before they escaped, making all 3 of them the first human hosts to the Absolute Solver. And for the first time, the Solver finally had a means to return home where it came from. (My sister theorizes that the Solver can infect any drone that has undergone a fatal error or experienced a near death experience that results in enough trauma for the core to translate the data as "death," and she wanted to experiment with translating drone death to human trauma. So we made it so that due to the fact that Hisashi, 13, and 005 had technically already died but were brought back by their cores rebooting, even though they didn't reboot with mutations like Cyn, it made them interceptable to infection, and Cyn took advantage of the opportunity presented to her.)
*Additionally, they arrived on the BNHA Earth during the time period when All For One was gaining ground in his villain empire, and 005 just so happened to have settled down quite close to the Boogieman of the underworld's home base, leading to them having a run in with All For One himself.
*Seizing her opportunity, Cyn possessed 005 and actually gave All For One a run for his money when she tried to initiate her consumption of the planet like she did Earth; for the very first time in his life, the self proclaimed demon lord actually felt genuine terror and a sense of his very own doom.
*What was most terrifying to All For One however, wasn't the fact that he was having trouble fighting this new adversary, or even that his quirk could NOT steal the Solver; no, if it were only that, All For One would have thought it to be an annoyance and at the very least a surprise.
*What truly terrified the self-proclaimed "demon lord" was that he didn't feel resistance from the "vestige" he was trying to steal… rather this "vestige" nearly ATE him. All For One could feel his own soul literally being devoured and consumed by this "vestige"… NONE of the thousands of stockpiled quirks and massive amounts of accumulated power All For One possessed had any sort of impact or effectiveness against the all-consuming void of Cyn's hunger.
*All For One, the Symbol of Evil, a 300 year old villain who literally embodies the accumulation of every quirk he's ever stolen, every vestige of the souls that came with every stolen quirk… and this "thing" was about to slurp it all up like a fruit roll up with that manic and predatory grin on her face.
*Even after managing to destroy 005's body beyond repair, his core immediately mutated into Cyn's eldritch centipede form, and with the addition of her machinery claws, flesh tentacles, and her holograms and illusions… All For One "had a bad time" that day…
*He only managed to survive by the skin of his teeth; he was eventually victorious against the eldritch centipede, leaving behind only 005's heart core, which Cyn was still possessing. All For One then proceeded to destroy the heart core, completely unaware that the small black hole orb that it was reduced to afterwards both still held Cyn's consciousness… and was collected by Doctor Garaki, who intended to utilize it for his research.
*Garaki managed to siphon Cyn's power to generate flesh-like matter from the black hole orb, which he uses along with the human corpses he was experimenting on to create nomu.
*Cyn, on the other hand, finds Garaki to be a nuisance for keeping a piece of her trapped and only feeding said piece just the barest minimum amount of matter in order to materialize endless amounts of material for him to use for himself.
*However, she decides to bide her time, knowing that there were still vessels left on the BNHA Earth she could take possession of and use the moment she has an opening, because once it arrives, with this literal buffet of mindless meat-sacks that foolish doctor has so graciously set up for her… she. is. going. to. FEAST.
*Mourning the loss of their friend, and realizing they couldn't escape their past the way they thought they could, Hisashi and Anan decided to make use of their essential immortality along with their knowledge in order to benefit the world instead.
*Anan chose to join the hero system, mascaraing her solver's null ability to make black holes as her quirk, dying her hair, and choosing hero costumes that hid her full appearance to keep her true identity concealed and remain ambiguous as the centuries passed.
*By modern day, Nezu, who of course figured the truth out all by himself due to his high intelligence, even helped her make her debut as Space Hero 13 by giving her a recommendation and altering her background information to avoid suspicion.
*13's hero costume also served to keep her body protected from the sun, as it gradually became more and more sensitive to sunlight due to the use of the solver making infected drone cores prone to overheating.
*Knowing she was at risk of being possessed herself however, Anan confided in "a friend who specialized in developing support items" that was sworn to secrecy and made her a support item that acted as a limiter that would help regulate her solver like a conduct and was also programmed to be under her own administration to prevent Cyn from hacking into it; in the modern day, her hero costume itself was also designed and installed with this function.
*Hisashi on the other hand, never once attempted to unlock his solver, though his regenerative abilities did still manifest, which he decided to pass off as his quirk.
*Unlike 13, Hisashi instead worked with those who were left of the space program, cutting off any and all means of connection to the rest of the exoplanet systems and helping create an effective security system around the planet to watch out for and/or even neutralize potential arrivals; there's no telling what Cyn might try to get to them after all.
*He even helped advance the study of meta-abilities, discovering their origin to be the same as how worker drones obtained their personality quirks, which lead to re-naming meta-abilities with the term "quirks."
*Centuries later, he met and fell in love with an intern at the space program named Inko; despite living for centuries Hisashi never met anyone he wanted to settle down and start a family with until now. Inko knew at the very least that Hisashi was not from their planet, and even had an inside joke with him about how she technically married an alien.
*The two were trilled when they learned they were expecting, however, there were complications during Izuku's birth… he was born with a heart issue and the chances of his survival were slim to none. Wanting his son to live, regardless of the consequences, Hisashi literally performed open heart surgery on himself and implanted his own heart core into Izuku to save his life.(Essentially, Hisashi pulled a Sitri from Fire Emblem: 3 Houses by literally giving his heart to his child)
*Without his core, Hisashi finally passed on, leaving Inko grief-stricken, but she chose to respect her husband's wishes and vowed to raise, protect, and love his last gift to her with all her heart: their son.
Don't worry, this is just the pre-cannon events. I already have so many plans for the main storyline. I'd love to hear your guys' feedback on this idea, so please comment and let me know. Also, if you took a peek at the cover image for this fic, that is fanart I made myself of what Izuku's solver would look like, so I hope you guys like that.
Tune in for the next chapter that goes into where the story officially starts!
