"So I guess it's time to start patrolling!" Kuri cried excitedly. "I get to work with you Lemillion! Deku has said so much about you!"
Lemillion puffed out his chest. "All good things I do hope!"
"Yes all good things." Kuri smiled. "Can you really phase?!"
"Yes I can!" Lemillion grinned.
"Wowwwwe!" Kuri bounced. "Can I seeeee?"
Deku panicked. He didn't want her to see Lemillion naked! "No no! He doesn't need to show that?!"
"But i waaaaaanna." Kuri whined.
Lemillion laughed. He knew that his suit would prevent the nudity, but he didn't speak up, the two of them were so cute.
"Kuriiiii!" Deku whined back at her.
"Cmon Lemillion!" Kuri cried. "Show me!"
Lemillion grinned and showed her.
"Woooowee!" Kuri grinned.
Deku stared. "No nu—"
"Nope." Lemillion interrupted.
"No what?"
"Nothing!" The two chorused.
"Cool! Let's go patrol!" Kuri grabbed Deku's hand. "I get to be MIKO!"
Deku smiled. She was so cute. "Yes you do!"
Lemillion stared at them. "Are you two together?"
Kuri jumped in surprise. "W-we…" She looked at Deku for help. They hadn't told anyone yet.
"Yes! W-we are!" Deku confirmed right away.
Kuri's eyes widened. "We are we are!" Kuri bounced happily.
Lemillion chuckled. He knew it. "That's really cute!"
Kuri giggled, and all was well and fantastic—for a moment. Then she stiffened, her eyes flashing silver. Deku knew what that meant and stopped with her, taking her hand.
"Blood to blood…" She whispered. "calling me…" Kuri started walking in the opposite direction. "The pain of my blood summons me forward…"
"Kuri!" Deku ran after her and grabbed her.
"Release me bearer of One For All." Kuri said in the same eerie voice. "My blood summons me hither."
Lemillion caught up with them. "What's wrong with her?! Is that her quirk?"
"No…this is something different." Deku said. "We have to follow her.
Kuri continued walking until she reached the alley, and then caught the escaping Kiana into her arms. Her little sister was the one who called her.
Kia sobbed in Kuri's arms, as Kuri tried to comfort her. "It's alright. Everything is alright…"
A man approached, calling out to Kiana. It was Overhaul, the villain they were pursuing. "Oh? Kia that's where you went. Come on back now."
Deku ran up behind her protectively.
Kuri blinked, finally coming to. "What the…" She stared down at Kiana, recognizing her instantly. Then her quirk kicked in, and she buckled over the young girl in agony. The girl was in so much pain, and now she was feeling it! She gave Deku an agonized look.
Overhaul gave Kiana an indulgent smile. "It's time to come home now Kiana. Let the nice hero go."
Deku knelt down next to the. "Hey it's okay. You don't have to." He glared at Overhaul, knowing he was the cause of this pain.
Kuri whimpered, trembling along with her sister. "It's alright…" Kuri pet her. "It's alright…"
Lemillion placed a hand on Deku's shoulder and whispered, "If you want to save your girlfriend we have to let this one go. Can't you see that?" Then he said out loud. "Alright then. It's time for us to go."
Deku gently pulled Kuri away. "Kuri…please….let her go…" he whispered.
"Onee-chan…" Kiana touched her sister's cheek and pulled away. "I'm sorry…I'm sorry onee-chan…" Kiana walked to Overhaul"
Kuri slumped and fainted into Deku's arms. "I-imouto chan…"
Deku picked her up and held her close, looking at Kiana, agonized.
Lemillion grabbed Deku, snapping him back to the present. "We have to get her to a hospital right now Deku. I think she's had a seizure!"
Deku nodded, looking worried, quickly taking her to the hospital.
