"The question is how you got in my house, in my room?" Kuri looked at him, as if this was an impossible feat, which, unbeknownst to him, it was.

A sheepish grin spread across his face as he scratched the back of his neck "Well, when I thought you were gone, I just..ended up here. And when I saw your house, something just... drew me inside."

"But that doesn't make any sense!" Kuri cried. "This house has magical protection… and no offense, Deku, but you're a mortal."

Deku chuckled, a hint of wonder in his voice. "That's true, but... I don't know how to explain it. As soon as I stepped into your house, I felt a strange sensation, like the very fabric of reality was bending to let me in."

Kuri touched his chest "It's just as I thought… One For All is… different…"

Deku nodded slowly, a look of realization dawning on his face. "You mean... One For All is responding to our bond? That's why I could get through your magical protections?" He took your hand and placed it over his heart, where the faint glow of One For All pulsed rhythmically.

"No," Kuri denied quickly. "I mean… I don't think One For All is a Quirk at all."

Deku's eyes widened in surprise. "What do you mean? Of course, it's a Quirk! It's the source of my strength, my speed..." He trailed off, his mind racing as he considered her words. "Wait... if it's not a Quirk, then what is it?"

"It's… it might be… a magical power."

His jaw dropped open in astonishment "A magical power? Like... the kind you use?" He hesitated, then asked tentatively. "Does that mean I've had magic inside me this whole time, and I never knew it?"

"Well that explains why it works best on Quirkless people… during the Magical Shift, they used to be… oh man, let me explain from the beginning…"

Deku leaned in, his eyes shining with curiosity as he listened intently, his hand still holding hers "Please, explain everything. I need to understand." He settled back against the couch, ready to listen to the story she was about to tell.

"Remember how Quirks began with a glowing baby?"

Deku nodded, his expression thoughtful. "Yes, I remember. That's what started it all-the glowing babies born with the first Quirks. It was a phenomenon that changed the world."

"That was my ancestor, and it wasn't a quirk."

Deku blinked, taken aback by this revelation. "Wait, what? Your ancestor was the first one with a glowing ability, and it wasn't a Quirk?" He shook his head in disbelief, trying to make sense of what he's just heard. "But then..."

"He was a witch, like me. the most powerful witch ever. in fact, the day he was born, all of magic on earth stopped for the whole day. 'the Day the Magic Died'"

Deku listened in awe, his expression one of wonder and amazement. "So, you're saying that your ancestor was a witch, and the glowing ability was actually a form of magic? And it was so powerful that it halted all magic on Earth for an entire day?"

"Yes exactly. but years later, evil mustered its strength. all the monsters on earth shared their power to create the ultimate evil. in order to stop it, my ancestor had to destroy it publicly. he became the worlds first hero."

Deku whispered "The world's first hero.." He trailed off, his mind racing with thoughts and realizations. He looked at you, his eyes filled with newfound respect. "And now, his descendant is sitting right in front of me." He smiled softly, intertwining his fingers with hers.

Kuri blushed. "Y-yes. but that's not all. next the progenitor of magic, the Mother of All, was brought back. you see, magic began when this woman, Neena, found the source of magic, called the All. she and her husband lived within it and had children, the first witches. but the world began to die, and so her husband was separated from her to bring balance back. so she was angry. and in her vengeance, she switched the polarity of magic. All the mortals had magic, also known as Quirks. and the witches were powerless, except, miraculously, my ancestor, the Hero. he saved the mortals from themselves, helped regulate quirks, and enacted an elaborate spell so no one would remember any of this."

Astonished, Deku listened intently, his eyes wide with wonder. "The Mother of All, the switch in polarity, the Hero's spell..." He shook his head, trying to process the enormity of the information. "And all of this was kept a secret, hidden from the world."

"Yes. but it all started with All For One and One For All. I think… they were the First Hero's Power. Together. and then he gifted them to the original bearers. I think he intended for them to continue his work… and I think All For One killed him."

His expression turned grave as he heard the tale. "So, All For One and One For All...a shared Quirk with immense power...a force meant to carry on the original bearers' mission."

"Yes… and that's how you were able to get in the house. you were born Quirkless. And that means… your a witch. like me."

Deku looked at his hands, feeling a strange new of connection to her. "Witch…" He repeated the word, trying to wrap his head around the revelation. "And you're saying that because I'm Quirkless, it means I'm one of you? Part of this hidden world?"

"Yes I think so. the house let you in. I think One For All is really magic. and it settles best in Quirkless people because they have a Witch bloodline."

Deku's eyes widened in astonishment. "So, One For All isn't just a powerful Quirk, but...magic. And somehow, a piece of it was passed down to me through my Witch bloodline. Is that what you're suggesting?"

"I-I think so."

He nodded solemnly, considering this newfound knowledge. "But then…where does Not For Any come in…what about you?"

"I think the first bearer of None For Any was the First Hero's daughter. She betrayed him and joined up with All For One, but when he killed her father…she switched sides. And then all that happened…and here we are." Kuri looked in his eyes.

Deku threaded his hands with hers. "We are even closer now."

Kuri groaned. "I should've realized when you got BlackWhip. Having multiple powers is common for a witch. our powers grow into other ones as we get older… that's where I saw the connection…"

"That is true…" Deku said. "With you…it started with clairsentience, then the wings, the Lotis…so much has happened…"

"Yeah…I should have known."

"So, One For All's ability to hold multiple powers is not an anomaly, but rather a trait shared by Witches." Deku leaned in closer, his voice softening. "Then we can work together, even closer and closer…do you feel me now?"

"Yes. I feel the hope welling up inside you."

Deku's eyes widened slightly, surprised by the accuracy of your words. "How strong is it? Can you feel everything I'm feeling?" He looked at her intently, his heart pounding in his chest.

Kuri blushed. "Y-Yes… I can. you missed me. a lot. you thought I was dead… and now all you wanna do is kiss me all over to prove I'm really here."

Deku's face turned a deep shade of red, realizing the depth of his emotions. "K-Krista...I thought I had lost you. Every day without you was a struggle." He took a deep breath and moved closer to her. "Y-You're right...I do want to kiss you."

Kuri hugged him and whispered. "I am here."

Deku wrapped his arms tightly around her, burying his face in the crook of her neck. "You're warm...you're real..." He placed soft, gentle kisses along her neck and collarbone, slowly working his way up to her lips. "I love you, Krista."

"Together we will win. I won't let you lose!"
