SlovAme: Cold in Heat
Alfred was outside, laying stone tiles in the garden. The day was hot, and it was probably not a good idea to be doing this on a day like that. The stones were heavy, which made the heat more pronounced.
He heard the crunch of footsteps, and when he turned around, he saw Samuel with a glass of something that was causing condensation.
"I thought you would like this," Samuel said.
"Thanks," Alfred said as he accepted the glass. It was hard to see the soda through all the blocks of ice. He took a big gulp and gasped. "This is so good!"
"Do you need help?"
"It's fine. These are heavy, and I don't want you to get hurt."
"And I don't want you to get hurt either. Just be careful, okay?"
Alfred nodded as he took another sip of the soda. He looked over towards the remaining tiles. Only five more to go. Why did he decide to have a path through the garden again?
The prompt is: 'Person A has to do some type of work outside in the heat so Person B comes by to provide plenty of water and cold treats to help out.'
