When worlds collide
Chapter 1~
...
Bits of blood dripped steadily from the Blue wolves' right shoulder. Landing at her feet in a small crimson red puddle. Her lips pulled back. Revealing her sharp, pointy white fangs.
A dangerous growl rolls from her lips. As the fur on her neck raises straight up in the air. Glaring darkly over at a tall man, his ruby red eyes watching her. A mysterious creepy smirk crossing his lips.
The man hid himself in the shadows of the trees. But due to the wolves keen eyesight, she was able to see him extremely well.
"Now, now Yukia, that isn't the way to greet an old friend, is it?" He says mockingly, his voice sending a cold shiver down the wolf's spine. "Let alone family"
It was clear that the wolf was quite traumatized by this man. He was a blood thirsty monster who wouldn't hesitate to kill her. Yet, she would hold her ground. She wouldn't give him the pleasure of seeing her scared, another furious growl rolls from her lips.
"You are not my friend, and you lost the title of being a family member a long time ago," She snarls. Just as the man steps out of the shadows of the trees, his black hair blowing slightly in the breeze. His red eyes seeming to roll upwards, at the huge wolf in front of him. Two long black hilted swords hung out from his back.
"Awe, that's really sad. I thought we were really close," the man mocks. Cheekily, a third sword held up in front of him. thick trickles of red liquid. Falls on the ground at his feet. "I mean, you are my dear sweet niece, after all,"
The blue wolf rolls her eyes in silent distaste. At the arrogant man. He was just so heartless.
"You tried to kill me," She pointy snarls, as her eyes blaze with deep rage. Still keeping a close eye on him . "And you've tried to kill my friends, you actually killed my parents and, my brother, your nephew. I will never see you as a friend or an uncle ever. "
After the final words, leave her lips. She slings low to the ground, her blue eyes looking for the slightest week spot in the man's thick armor. It was hard to find he knew Yukia would instantly aim for his throat. Due to natural wolf instinct. The smart thing to do was to keep it protected if possible.
"Tried," the man questioned randomly, with a small raise of his eye brow, and evil smirk spreading across his lips. "My dear, I didn't try to kill them. I did kill them,"
Yukia's eyes go big and, round, though she quickly shakes away her shock. not wanting to believe his claim. He always was like this, trying to set her off.
"You're lying," she hissed her massive head. Shaking back and forth. Not wanting to think about her friends being killed. Especially by him.
"Really, my dear, you want to take that chance?" the man questions suspiciously.
He would have thought by now that she would believe him he had killed her family. After all, why would he hesitate to kill her pathetic friends?
Debalo moves to the side, revealing five bodies on the ground at his feet, each one laying still there chest weren't rising and falling. They had no heartbeat. The color in their faces was completely gone.
The lack of color turning their faces completely to purple Yukia looks over them her eyes widened again. Realizing who the bodies belong to.
"No," She mumbles under her breath.
A few tears making their way to her eyes as she tries to walk towards them only for Debalo to hold his sword up and run towards her taking the distraction as an opportunity to attack her, he flings his sword forward aiming to hit her in the stomach however Yukia realizing what was going on quickly jumps out of the way her eyes staying on the emotionless bodies behind him.
Debalo's sword hits the ground with a sickening crack, causing the ground to crumble from the hard impact. Debalo turns around to face the huge wolf once again. A dangerous look flashing through his red eyes. As he watches her. Though her eyes mostly remain on her friends.
"Yukia, Yukia, wake up" a familiar voice cuts through, the girls head.
Just as a sudden bright light appears in front of her, causing her to cover her eyes with one of her huge paws.
...
Yukia had instantly bolted up right from her nightmare. Feeling the warmth of fresh tears streaming down her cheeks. Her body trembles as she pulls her knees up to her chest, hugging her legs as she rest her head on top of them. Feeling the heart in her chest thump loudly in her ears. Due to the sleep still in her eyes, Yukia was unable to see properly at the moment.
"Were you having the nightmare of dreams?" A sudden female voice asks from her right side. Concern being laced in their voice. The voice making Yukia jump up in fright. Not having realized anyone was in her room, let alone right beside her.
"Starfire?" Yukia mumbles inwardly, quickly able to realize who the voice's owner was.
A hand brushes comfortingly over Yukia's left shoulder. Causing her to flinch up. Feeling the hand instantly removed from her shoulder.
"It's ok, Yukia, you're safe now," a male voice says soothingly from her left side. "No one is gonna hurt you,"
'Robin?'
"You must have been having an awful dream," another male voice chimps in. Also seeming to be at her left side.
'Beastboy'
"We heard you scream all the way from our rooms," another male voice points out. This one coming from directly in front of her.
"Cyborg"
"You're ok now though," another female voice travels to her ears from the door of her room.
'Raven'
Taking in a breath, Yukia sits back in her bed using the sleeves of her long sleeved white shirt to wipe away the tears from her eyes and possibly even the blurriness from her eyes She wanted to see her friends.
"You are the ok, right?" She heard Starfire ask carefully.
"Yeah, I'm ok, Star," Yukia answers her steeply. A smile crosses her lips when she moves her arm from her eyes. And, was finally able to see Her friends. Concerned looks on their faces.
With Raven covering up any emotion she had towards the situation. To herself. Besides Yukia, was well aware that Raven cared. She didn't have to show it or even say it.
"What was your dream about?" Cyborg asked cautiously. Him, and the other titans knew well.
Yukia wasn't the type to tell them about her problems. The girl mostly kept things to herself. And only told them a few things here and there.
But Cyborg wanted to be a good friend to the young girl if she wanted to talk to him. Or any of them for that matter she could.
"O um, it was nothing," the girl answers lowly, her eyes going to her hands. As she lets out a saddened sigh.
"It was Debalo again, wasn't it?" Robin asked, his eyes raising slightly under his mask as he noticed the girl winch at the man's name. Indicating he was right
The evil man always seemed to bother his younger teammate. And, even if he wanted to help her, there was not much he could really do.
Yukia barely shakes Her head at his words. As she bits her lower lip nervously. She was well aware that her friends would probably still care for her and possibly accept her. If they had known the truth about that said man. And, there had been millions of times Yukia had felt like telling them the truth on the matter. It was just that she feared if she did tell them. They would think she was like him somehow.. and not want anything to do with her. So for now, that little secret was kept to herself. Wasn't like they really asked much about him, either.
"Yeah," she answers in a hushed voice, her head barely nodding at his words, luckily before the young heroes could ask any further questions, the alarms. In the tower cut through, the dark room. Lighting it up in a bright red light.
"Trouble," Yukia muses softly. Standing up from her bed, feeling somewhat relieved, having something to do may get her mind off that little nightmare of hers and her evil uncle.
Yukia was kind of short compared to the other five Titans. She barely came to Beastboy's shoulders.
Yukia, had deep crystal blue eyes that seemed to shine slightly when the moon shined through her bedroom window, her long red hair cascades measly down her back, she wore mostly normal clothes like t-shirts and jeans even though she had joined the titans she didn't really want a costume she didn't see herself as a hero and, she doubted she ever would.
The Titans rush out of Yukia's room. The girls' room was pretty simple. A few wolf posters hung upon the walls. A small fluffy red carpet layed on the ground by her bed.
A little nightstand with a small lamp. Also stood by her bedside.
Walking out of her room, the door shutting automatically on its own behind her. Yukia follows the Titans down the wide, narrow hallway, and, into the main room.
Robin immediately strides over to the computer. And, rapidly begins typing on it. However, he suddenly pauses, his eyes going round behind his eye mask. As a sudden angry look comes to his face. Seeing the name that flashed over the screen.
"Robin, what is the matter?" Starfire asked carefully. She backs up next to cyborg. When Robin suddenly stands up. Turning to face his team with the angry look still glued to his face.
"It's Slade," Robin growls as his hands clench automatically down, at his sides.
A huge silence falls over the room as a puzzled look crosses over the other four Titans' faces. There eyes wide.
Slade was a name. None of them ever thought, they would hear again, at least not after Raven's father tried taking over the earth.
Yukia, being still a little new to the team, just stands there a confused look on her face.
But at the moment, Yukia really didn't want to bother them with her questions. They seemed quite touchy about this guy. Remaining quiet seemed like the better idea right now.
"So, what is he doing now?" Cyborg speaks up, finally breaking the uncomfortable silence. With a sigh being heard in his voice.
Robin glances back at the computer from over his shoulder, his eyes narrowing slightly at the screen
"It's only flashing up his name, but it's Slade he never does anything good," Robin answers dryly.
Suddenly, the lights in the tower flicker once, then twice a third time, before finally cutting completely off. Covering the once brightly lit room into utter darkness.
"Great," Raven mutters sarcastically, her voice toneless, as her eyes roll behind her hood.
Firstly, they were up at an early hour, not having a clock in hand, Raven wasn't sure exactly what time it was. And, now the lights suddenly go out, what more could go wrong?
Yukia slips to her wolf form, her eyes adjusting easily to the dark.
Yukia's wolf form was a beautiful light blue color, with small splashes of white on her stomach chest and paws. Compared to a normal grey wolf. Yukia was bigger, a lot bigger.
Cyborg flicks on the small light on his left shoulder. Lighting up a small portion of the room. Before slowly moving the light over the room. Making sure no one was in there.
"No one's here," He decides. With the light on his shoulder going to the others.
"Let's go," Robin growls as he turns to head to the exit of the tower. Desperate to get to the bottom of what was going on. What was Slade, planning now?
The other four Titans and Yukia follow quickly behind him. None of them wanting to argue with him. Robin was already in a seemingly bad mood. Arguing would only make matters worse. And he was hard to handle when he was angry.
...
Riding in the back seat of the t car, Yukia gazes out over the huge city. Darkness spilled over the empty streets. With many of the homes, they passed by being shrouded in darkness as well.
Yukia, despite being in her human form and her eyesight not being the very best. Her eyesight was strongest when she was in her wolf form. But Yukia could still see farely well through the darkness of the city. She could still make out the yummy pizza plaza her and the titans would go to almost daily. The candy shop which she had traveled to a few times with Beastboy. The small book store she and Raven loved to visit they always had some amazing books to read there. The mall Yukia had only gone once with Starfire, and ever since she did, she hadn't wanted to go back to many people for her liking. Yukia hated crowds.
Robin drove his motorcycle speedily in front of them, with Starfire sitting behind him, her arms resting comfortably around his waist, a light blush crossing the boy's face. Robin could feel the beat of his heart seeming to increase in speed. She was sitting so close to him. Not that he overly minded the closeness. But he had to focus on stopping Slade right now he couldn't let his feelings towards her get in the way of their number one objective.
"He should be up ahead," Robin says through Cyborg's communicator
"I wonder what he could possibly be thinking turning out all the power like this" Cyborg wonders to himself his human eye narrowing as he thinks about all the things Slade could possibly be doing with the lights off. At least it was merely a guess that Slade was behind the power outage.
"Anything he wants" Beastboy answers him an uncharacteristically seriousness tone could be heard in his voice, he hated the man with a burning passion one of his best friends would still be here if it weren't for the masked man.
Beastboy silently hoped Yukia wouldn't get pulled into the man's cunning ways he wasn't wanting to lose her the same way they lost Terra. Though Yukia didn't seem like the type that would ever hurt them. She had never really offered to do so. Even when they first met. Yukia hadn't been the nicest person when they first met but she never offered to really hurt them.
"So, what's so bad about this guy?" Yukia asked innocently, her eyes looking over the three Titans in the car, hoping she didn't ask something they didn't feel comfortable talking about. She was curious.
"He's just a really bad dude," Beastboy answers her, simply his green eyes glancing slightly back at the red-headed girl in the back seat, who looks back at him, sympathy feeling her blue eyes
The car ride falls into silence once again. Yukia wasn't sure if she should push the matter further they didn't seem like they really wanted to discuss this man right now. Maybe she shouldn't have asked them, though it would be nice if they told her more about his fighting style, what he was like. But she bits her tongue and decides to drop it. Yukia would just figure it out on her own anyways, Her blue eyes looked back out the window as they drove past the many huge buildings.
...
Reaching the docks, the four Titans quickly get out of the car with Yukia instantly shifting to her wolf form as she climbs out of the vehicle. Feeling more comfortable being in the familiar form, especially with it being so dark out. Plus, Yukia could see any approaching enemies, that is, if they try to land a sneak attack on them.
A low growl escaping from her mouth when her blue eyes land on a tall dark figure. Possibly a man with his back being turned against them Yukia couldn't really tell if it was a man or not, it was merely a guess on her part.
The dark figure stood by a huge machine, wires connected to several different areas around the huge machine. An almost medium like tv screen on the front. Hundred of small knobs scattered practically all around it.
The dark figure swiftly begins to mess around with the mamy knobs, with a sudden bright light casting over the tv screen. The bright light illuminating from the screen, easily revealing the man standing before it, way clearer now.
"Slade," Robin hissed, causing the said masked man to turn and face him.
"Awe, the teen Titans, it's nice to see you again," the man muses, looking over the five teens before his one visible eye rest on Yukia. "You have a new member I see,"
Raven quickly moves in front of Yukia, blocking the man's view of the young girl. She knew how he was when it comes to wanting apprentices, and he very much may try and, get Yukia to become his next apprentice or something he has done it before and she knew he wouldn't hesitate to try it again. Though with Yukia giving the dark man a hard stare down. And the silent growl that rolls from her throat once her eyes land on his one eye. It was clear Yukia didn't like him. Cyborg, Beastboy, and, Starfire, seemed to relax at this revelation. There was no way Yukia would betray them. To them, that was a good thought.
Yukia cast her eyes over her friends, noting the more relaxed expressions now coming over there faces, and tilting her head barely to the side. Not understanding why they'd be so nervous about the man before them. And even more so why they seemed more protective over her, then usual. How bad was this man anyway? What had he done to them to make them seem so on edge? Especially Robin.
"What are you planning, Slade?!" Robin hissed the anger plain in the boy's voice as he held up his bow staff threateningly.
"Planning Robin? O nothing really, " Slade said, stepping to the side to reveal his machine. The tv screen, just now beginning to swirl around, in a black and white circle. "but to send you away once and for all."
That was enough to get the titan leader to charge towards him, having heard enough. Aiming a hard pumch to the man's midsection. However, Slade wasn't stupid he knew how easy it was to literally press everyone of Robin's buttons, almost like he was an expert on the subject. Slade expertly moves out of the way of the masked boys punch, easily able to dodge Robin's swift attack, which seemed to anger the boy further.
Pulling his arm back Slade suddenly lands a hard punch to the the boys unprotected stomach a painful gasp escaping from Robin's lips, as he now falls to his knees, that one punch seeming to have knocked all the air from his lungs, his face having turned a very pale color. As he tries to now regain the breath that had been knocked out of him, back into his lungs
Slade, without warning, jumps into the air, doing a small spin. Before aiming a powerful roundhouse, kick to the masked boy's right side. however, before his foot could connect with the boys' side. A green substance slams square in the middle of the masked man's chest. Sending him flying backwards through the air. And. away from the titan leader.
Starfire lands beside Robin, her star bolts dying down around her hands as her green eyes now focus on Robin, who was still trying to get the breath back into his lungs,
Slade quickly catches himself before he could crash into the cold pavement below. By doing a small backflip, he lands back on his feet, his one eye glaring over at Starfire.
Slade, begins running towards her wanting to land a hit on her she wasn't paying him any mind anyways a bad mistake on her part she should never have taken her eyes off him, however before he could get closer to the two Titans a loud roar stops him in his tracks his visible eye glancing over to see Beastboy in his gorilla form charging towards him at a rather impressive speed despite his huge size. Slade jumps away just as Beastboy lifts his arms into the air. And, bringing them down hitting the spot Slade had once stood. The groundbarely seemed to crack from how hard Beastboy had hit it.
Slade does a small somersault. Before, suddenly ending up behind the green teen. And, wrapping his arms around the boys neck in a very tight headlock. Slade would have to admit wrapping his arms fully around the boys huge gorilla neck was rather difficult, especially with all the green fur, and Beastboy struggling to get free. Yet somehow, Slade managed to pull the enraged boy to the ground. his grip tighting ever so slightly.
Beastboy lets out a loud gasp, starting to find it hard to breathe, his eyes parsley closing. Before Slade's grip could tighten any further, a blue blast knocks into his side. Sending the masked man flying through the air and, back first into a nearby warehouse, a sickening crack heard from the man's back as he held in a silent grunt. The wall he'd crashed into instantly gives out with bits of wood raining down around him.
Slade immediately stands back up, almost as if nothing had happened. Dusting himself off almost mockingly. Slade's visible eye stares back at Cyborg, a cold sneer crossing his face. Unseen due to the mask over his face, of course.
A sudden dark energy wraps around Slade's ankles. Spinning him around in the air before slamming him onto the cold, hard pavement below a low groan escaping the mask man's lips as he goes to sit up. Of course, he was able to keep any signs of pain to himself.
Slade gets back to his feet, his eye now focused on Raven, who now stands in front of Cyborg and Beastboy. her fist clenched
Beastboy was now back in his human form rubbing his neck it felt so tender right now. Cyborg stood beside him, checking to make sure he was going to be alright.
Raven glares coldly at the masked man dark energy flaring up around her palms. Slade narrows his eye at her before jumping up. He moves to the side, barely able to avoid the dark energy blast that had been shot at him. The blast hits the spot where he had once been standing the ground, cracking slightly from the heavy impact. He lands behind Raven and roughly pushes her towards the ground. With Raven being quick and easily catching herself before she could hit the cold pavement, she then turns back around to face him, a very cold look in her eyes.
Slade smirks darkly under his mask as his eye watches the look that passes over her face, when her purple irises land on the small yet very sharp knife pointed at her throat. Raven swallows the small lump that had suddenly formed deep in her throat, her dark energy barely vanishing from her hands, with her expression once again turning dark, the glare she wae now giving him being a very deadly one.
"Slade, don't!!" Robin hissed he was now back on his feet and was just about to run at the masked man. But somehow, his breath had not fully returned to him, and he stumbled over.
Starfire bends down beside him, her hand gently on his back, as she whispered something in his ears. Of course, Robin hardly paid her words any mind to concerned for their teammate. Robin glares darkly up at the masked man, his teeth gritting in clear frustration. The sharp blade seems to only move closer to Raven's throat.
Just then, a huge blue thing suddenly rams fiercely into the mask man's side, knocking him roughly away from Raven. In an attempt to defend himself, Slade throws the knife back.
Yukia lets out a low yelp of surprise as the sharp pointy knife slices into her shoulder before cluttering to the ground at her feet, a red liquid now lining the tip of the blade. Ignoring the sharp pain for now. Yukia cast her eyes over at the masked man, a furious growl escaping her lips.
"Back off," she snarled even in her wolf form. Yukia was able to talk. Though her voice was a lot stronger and gravelly. When she did.
Slade smirked under his mask. He really did want to see what this new Titan was all about. What were her powers? Well, a side from the obvious shape shifting, his hands go to his utility belt, causing the girl to let out a warning growl her haunches rose in alarm. Pulling out a long silver bow staff. Slade stares over at the blue wolf emotionallesslly.
Yukia slings to the ground, lips pulled back once again revealing her very sharp teeth, her eyes watching him carefully. Unsure of what Slade was capable of. Yukia didn't want to just jump forwards with out thinking, though she usually would if she knew her opponent but Slade being a new one she wanted to wait, though it seemed Slade was being careful to seeing has he hadn't offered to attack her yet. However, before either of them could even make a move to attack the other.
A bright light suddenly cuts through the dark street. Looking back at the huge machine. Yukia widens her eyes. With the bright light growing brighter and brighter. Cutting a path between her and, Slade, and keeping them from attacking each other.
Yukia uses her left paw to cover her eyes, the white light that came from the huge machine seeming to blind her.
"O well," the man smiled to himself as the light grew bigger and bigger till everything went dark. "Farewell titans"
...
It had been a long while since Yukia had been teleported. She could not remember ever being completely conscious when it happened and, maybe the other times. She was glad she'd blacked out. Yukia was being spun in fast speady circles. Making her feel a bit dizzy, everything was so blurry.
When Yukia finally stopped spinning. She feels herself land on something soft..
"Yukia, can you please get off?" she heard Starfire's soft voice ask kindly, the female titan sounding as if she was out of breath. Beneath her?
Starfire didn't want to be mean and push Yukia off. But in the girls abnormally large wolf form, she was rather heavy. And, was literally crushing the Tamerainan. Yukia slowly climbs off her friend. An apologetic look flashing over her face.
"Where are we?" She heard Beastboy ask from not too far away. His voice sounding a bit unsure.
"Are you all here?" Yukia asked concerningly. Opening her eyes only to close them back. Yep, still blury. It was very annoying. She wanted to see her friends. To make sure they were ok.
"Yes, friend Yukia, where all here," Starfire answers sweetly.
"Transform into your human form, Yukia, so I can see your wound better," Raven replies from beside the young girl. A pale white energy coming over her hands.
Yukia sits down on her knees in the cool grass. Before turning back to her human form. With her eyes still being very blurry, she didn't want to risk the chance of falling backwards.
Raven was a bit surprised that the girl didn't try and argue about actually being healed.
Usually Yukia, wouldn't even allow them to look at her wounds with out telling them 'she didn't want them to waste there powers on her' Raven guessed the girl just wasn't up for an argument right now. Which made it easier to look over the small cut.
Yukia doesn't even jump up when she feels Raven's hand touch the wound on her shoulder, only feeling a small sting, which was easily avoidable.
Raven reels her hands back before standing up to her full height. The white energy having already left her hands. Despite the small bits of dried blood on her shoulder. Yukia was perfectly fine.
"Should have known it would already be gone," Raven tonelessly mutters.
"I forget sometimes, on how fast your body can heal," Cyborg admits, sounding shocked. "Even though I guess we should be used to it,"
"Thanks, Raven," Yukia says gracefully. "I'm glad you're willing to try and. Help me at least"
Raven remains quite though internally she was smiling Yukia, would never feel ungrateful for them helping her anymore, that is.
"And I honestly forget sometimes myself..." Yukia tells Cyborg sheepishly. "Now, if I could only see you guys, that would be wonderful."
"Awe, you miss us that much." Beastboy can't help but joke around.
Getting a dark scowl from Yukia. And an eye roll from Raven leave it to the green boy to joke around at a time like this.
"I'm touched," Cyborg soothes brightly. Putting a hand over his heart. To prove his point.
"No, never," Yukia snaps seriously, at both males. An amused look clearly written on her face. "I'm just tired of the darkness, is all"
Beastboy, and Cyborg, chuckle humorously to themselves. Sounding as if they were standing beside her, or at least close by. Both of them knowing her words to be false. She loved them all, and they knew it.
Yukia begins to blink her eyes rapidly. Hoping that perhaps, it would rid them of the small blurriness that still remained in them. She was more than determined to see once again. Feeling deep relief spill internally inside her. When she is finally able to see again.
Yukia swiftly glances over the Titans. Making sure they were all there safely. Once she realizes all five of them are there with her. The girl relaxes.
Yukia, then peers around the forest they were in. Taking in the beautiful scenery surrounding them. The trees around the area were quite huge. There height easily able to block out the sunlight above, from shining through. A small waterfall sounded from somewhere close by. The many different sounds of the birds chirping up in the trees. Could be heard throughout the forest. It was quite pretty. If Yukia was honest.
Robin stood away from his friends in a somewhat angry poster. He couldn't believe this. How could they have forgotten about that machine of Slade's. There was no telling what the evil man would do to their city now.
Maybe they could get back in time before he did something really bad, or perhaps if he could get a hold of Titans East, he could get them to help. If only his stupid communicator would work. But disappointedly, it did not. Sighing, irrationally Robin, puts the small device up.
His head turning to the other titans, as they continued to look over the area.
"Honesty, I would have thought it would have been more darker, colder," Cyborg admits honestly. With Beastboy nodding his head in agreement.
"With it being Slade, something bad is bond to happen," Robin replies as he walks over to his friends. "We should fine sheltersoon it looks to be getting late,"
"I scent something in that direction," Yukia speaks up, her hand pointing in the right direction. As she narrows her eyes. "There seems to be a lot of people there, so it might be a city or something. Maybe we could find shelter there?"
"That sounds better than staying out here," Beastboy quickly admits, hope feeling his green eyes as he looks to Robin for an answer. The masked boy only nodding his head in silent approval.
"Lead the way," Cyborg gestures for her to take the lead.
Yukia, giving a playful salute to the robotic teen. Slips into her wolf form her nose lifts up into the air taking in the scent of the city, she could pick up the smell of mny different foods each one making her stomach growl, regardless of how far away it was. Yukia had a great scent of smell, especially in her wolf form. It came with being a werewolf. Another scent continued to roll up into her nostrils, this one very unfamiliar to her and, rather strange. Her eyes barely cast to the ground. Definitely a weird scent. Immediately, shaking her head, she looks to her friends, there heads tilted in silent questions. Giving them a caring grin. She'd forget about that scent for now. It didn't seem that bad anyways.
"This way," she barks, before darting off into the dark forest. Towards what she believed to be a city.
"Hey, Yukia, wait up!!" Beastboy cries as him and the others rush to catch up with her.
...
