When worlds collide

~Chapter 12~

First-person

Yukia's pov

...

A cool breeze blew by blowing the blue fur on my back steadily, I sat in a small meadow listening to the sound of the many small creatures that were close by. My ears pricked up at the sound of a loud howl echoing through the wind. A low sigh escaped from my lips. Of course, I couldn't enjoy the beautiful day. I stand up, stretching my legs out in front of me. A small yawn escaping from my lips, straighting up. I turn around to head towards the packhouse. Wondering what I had done wrong this time?

It seems like I was always in trouble for something.

"Your late." A huge male wolf snarls from in front of me. His golden eyes sneered over at me as I approached.

My ears Flatting slightly at the tall male. His huge teeth bared sharply, as his dark black fur blows steadily in the wind, making him look bigger than he actually was. He possibly no bigger than me. Though he definitely had plenty of muscle under his thick fur.. I probably would lose if I were to fight him head-on.

"The alpha is waiting on you, and he's not in the best of mood," the dark wolf informs me coldly. Just as a low sigh escapes from my lips as I walk by him. My eyes hooding.

As I continue to walk, a huge building comes into view. The huge wooden structure stood in the middle of a huge clearing a couple of windows scatered around in front of it. I could easily make out the shadows of other wolves inside. As I approach it. Making my way over to the door of the huge building, a small fear slowly comes to my head.

The alpha of the pack was cruel to me. He would beat me, possibly. And, honestly, I wasn't looking forward to it. I slowly shift to my human form, reaching my hand up, shakily brushing it across the door. I tug the door open and slipped inside quietly my eyes, looking down at the beautiful marbled floor at my feet. The walls in the room were covered in beautiful paintings. Nice leather furniture sat against the walls. A long, narrow stair case sat in the middle of the room leading up to the rooms of the other pack members. I wasn't born into the pack. So I didn't get one. Which was fine. I didn't want to spend much time with the pack anyway. Slipping back to my wolf form, I heave out a low sigh. Lifting my head up, I gaze around the room.

A few pack members stood in the huge room, including the in raged alpha, his deep brown eyes blazing with anger as they moved over to me. The huge creature stalks over to me, his white fur standing up aggressively on the back of his neck, great. I instantly go to my belly. My ears flatting against my head, just as a dangerous growl rolls from his throat.

"You pathetic warm where did you go!" He snarls angrily, my body shivering at his words

"I...I..Went.. To...Get.Some. Air" I stutter lowly the few members of the pack stop there chattering to glare back at me the coldness in their eyes making my heart sink

What did I do to deserve all this? I always followed the alphas rules despite them being unfair

"I hope he kills her." One male voice speaks up his voice cold as ice.

"Yeah, she's just a huge waste." Another male puts in knowinly.

The alpha lets out another growl his mouth gaping open to reveal his sharp Razer teeth his fangs sink deep into the back of my neck without much effort, he easily lifts me up of the ground my legs flailing frantically in the air below me.

"l.. Let. Me.. Go, " I cry out without thinking. Only to end up hitting the ground below with a heavy thud. My eyes spinning dizzily in my head.

Something warm slowly slides down my shoulder. Just as my eyes look up into the eyes of the alpha, his teeth still bared, as blood dripped freely from them. I slowly start backing away. Wanting to get a few distance between me and the huge white wolf in front of me. Only to be stopped by what felt like a huge wall. I glance over my shoulder, wanting to know what I had ran into.

A huge black and white wolf stood behind me, lavender eyes glaring darkly down at me, a growl rolling from his throat he lifts up his massive paw and slams it down on my back a small yelp of pain coming out of my lips, just as a loud crack from my back echoes through the room. Making the other wolves grin darkly, almost like they were enjoying what they were seeing. The huge black and white wolf digs his nails into my back, a whine leaving my mouth at the sharp needle like pain. How badly I wanted away from him, however I was unable to move him he was way too big.

The alpha chuckles darkly not one bit fazed of his trustful beta stepping in to deliver some punishment to me, he sits back on his haunches watching on, I spot a white wolf walking towards me her gold eyes narrowing down at me the huge black and white wolf steps of me bowing his head in respect for the young beautiful white wolf who grins slightly back at him her gold eyes sneering coldly down at me she pounces forward her fangs bared she rips into my shoulder flesh. Fresh tears silently streamed down my cheeks. Why could I not get away from this?

"Leave me alone!!..." I cry out pitifully.

Just like on que. Something blue suddenly flares up around my body. Causing my eyes widen, and a loud Yelp to escape from the white wolf's lips.

Sena instantly releases me, and, backs away her gold eyes glaring back at me as she lets out a threathen growl. A huge burn wound now covers her muzzle. The brown-eyed alpha widens his eyes. Before he sneers down at me. His lips pulled up threateningly.

"You stupid mutt what did you do to my daughter!?!?" He explodes, standing up to his full height. "You will pay,"

He moves towards me, a snarl coming from his open mouth. As I watch him coming closer, the fear inside me rising further.

I wasn't sure what I had done. What this thing was that was around me nor how I managed to make it. But somehow, it seemed to react to my fear. By increasing in power growing bigger and stronger.

The alpha crouches low to the ground, massive haunches raised. The huge white wolf, lungs, forward his teeth bared, aiming for my throat. However, just as his fangs go to wrap around my neck. The blue substances pushes against him. Seeming to be pushing him backwards. A painful grunt comes from the huge wolves lips.

With my eyes widened at the small burns that slowly start to form along his shoulder blade, small bits of blood starting to ooze out.

I stand up to my full height, the blue substances following my movements. Still unsure what this blue thingy was, I blink my eyes at its head, tilting to the side, studying it carefully. It wasn't hurting me, in fact I was perfectly fine with it around me, however, on the other hand, if someone touched it. It would burn them. It seemed that's what it had done to the alpha and his daughter.

Narrowing my eyes at the blue shield, I wasn't gonna let it go to waste whatever it was. I could use it to get out of here. Plus, it wasn't like I even knew how to stop it.

The alpha shakes his head angrily more rage, filling in his deep brown eyes. The other wolves in the room stand up from their sitting position, stocking towards me as well. The alphas daughter had quickly recovered from her burnt muzzle following behind her father, covering his flake. I back away the blue substances still following my every movement I bare my teeth.

"Stay back." I finally growl a cold glare coming to my eyes as I look over the pack, not caring that i was fully outnumbered.

The wolves pause in there pursue towards me, a small fear coming to their eyes. Even the alpha had stopped, his brown eyes widen slightly at me, seeming to be uncharacteristically unsure of what to do.

"I will use this power on you all," I shout, warningly, backing closer towards the door. "Stay back"

...

I could hear the howling of the pack behind me as I ran through the thick forest, trying desperately to get away from the in raged pack that followed close behind me.

A heavy weight suddenly slams into my body, knocking me off my feet, I slam into a nearby tree, sliding to the ground, not having time to recover I quickly stumble back to my feet.

A snarl coming from my lips as I glare darkly back at the medium sized Navy black wolf before me his haunches tensing beneath his fur I slouch low to the ground baring my sharp fangs the Navy wolf following my movements we both lung at each other at the same time my fangs slicing through his shoulder blade.

I could feel one of his nails cut into my cheek we land a part from each other and quickly turn to face each other again blood dripped from his shoulder I noticed a couple burn lines on his chest possible from the blue substances still around my body.

I let out a low growl before leaping forward my teeth sinking deep into the wolves neck. I release him when he goes, still allowing him to fall to my feet unconscious. Despite the packs hard treatment, I didn't want to kill them well, all of them that is. shaking my head, I quickly begin to run again the pack's fast paws hitting the ground hard behind me I had to get away I could not go back to the pack again I would surely be killed this time. I knew I would

...

I continue running into the next day. Into the later hours of the night. a tired look glued to my face. The blue shield like substances had finally vanished from around my body. The blue stuff had made me feel awfully weak and tired, but luckily, I couldn't hear the pack behind me any more they probably had stopped chasing me now. I could stop running to rest up, I guess. but I wanted to keep going to get as far from the pack as possible. I tumble forward, pushing myself to keep going.

A sudden dim light cuts through the darkness of the forest, my blue eyes narrowing slightly as I grow closer to it.

A huge city suddenly comes into my view, its lights brightening up the darkness of the forest. Glancing back over my shoulder, into the forest. I knew I should head back and go in a different direction. I wasn't good around crowds of humans. And, I knew cities crawled with them. However, something about the city pulled me towards it. Maybe I was just curious? Or perhaps hungry? Shifting to my human form, my red hair Cascading freely down my back.

I walk into the streets of the city, my blue eyes hooded as a few people pass by me whispering something under their breaths, I keep walking, ignoring them. Stumbling slightly over my feet, I was more use to my wolf form being in my human form felt weird and unsafe. I couldn't help but stumble over my own feet.

"Well, look here!?" A ruff unfamiliar male voice comes from behind me. For some reason, his voice had made me shiver internally. Why would I be afraid of someone I'd never met before??

Against my better judgment, i quickly turn around, a low growl rolling from my throat, as i stare up at the owner of the voice.

A tall dark haired man and Ruby red eyes stood in front of me an evil grin coming to his lips making another shiver go down my spine the grin didn't seem to move any part of his face, if anything it was possibly fake.

"Now my dear, why don't you come with me?" He suggests I shake my head before releasing a breath.

"No," I simply reply, watching as his arms crossed over his chest, an unimpressed look coming to his face.

"Where else are you possibly going to go?" He questions uncaringly

I roll my eyes as my hands go to my hips. My eyes contiuning to watch him. I felt very tense around this man for some reason.

"I just ran from the only home I knew, I don't want to be around anyone right now. Just leave me alone," I tell him flatly. Just as a sudden, dangerous look comes to the man's eyes.

"You really don't have a choice, my dear," He informs me knowingly. Moving his hand back, he pulls a long sword from behind his back, holding it out in front of him.

I could see blood lining the blade from the tip of the blade all the way up to the hilt. A shiver rolls up my body, my blood running cold. I look around trying to find a good escape route, but like he had read my mind, he speaks again.

"That's not a good idea, kid." He speaks coolly,

Rolling my eyes. I quickly shift to my wolf form, getting a slight eye raise from the dark-haired man before he narrows his eyes at me. Slouching to the ground, I flash my sharp fangs at him he smirks darkly, his sword going out in front of him. Not wasting any time, I lung forward my mouth agape the man quickly jumps to the side avoiding my body from crashing into him I swirl around to face him once again.

"Please don't make this hard," the man muses.

One of his hands runs through his hair he shakes his head as I slouch low my lips pulled back I prepared to lung again only for the dark-haired man to disappear from sight a surprised look coming to my face as a sudden sharp pain cuts into my shoulder making me Yelp in surprise I snap my jaws up, the man, had somehow ended up above me, however he easily jumps away.

Fresh blood drips from his sword landing on the ground at his feet. I could feel the pain in my shoulder sort of increase, but I try my hardest to ignore it.

I run towards him again, only for him to jump up in the air he does a small backflip his sword crashes into my unprotected back, a loud scream coming from my lips. Just as a huge amount of pain spills into my body, he easily rips the sword out and jumps away, landing in a crouched position on the ground a few meters away from me

"One more hit, and you'll be dead," He points out coldly. "You're losing too much blood already,"

He lifts the sword to his mouth, his tongue licking across the blood, a psychotic look crossing his face, making my body shake this guy was so creepy. And some how he seemed familiar but I couldn't figure out why he'd seem familiar to me I've never seen him before.

"So, what at least I wouldn't have to join you!" I snap back. The man narrows his ruby eyes at me.

"So be it." He shrugs his shoulders uncaringly.

Before he darts forward my eyes widen when he seems to vanish from sight only to end up in front of me his cold Ruby eyes look back into my blue ones causing my body to shack, I try backing away from him but my body felt frozen in place terror rising into my chest.

This close I could smell the huge amount of blood on his clothing mixed in with other scents I couldn't completely place, my eyes widen as a sharp pain slams into my chest I could feel a warm substance pouring from my chest, my blood covered the pavement below my feet, and the man's long sword the man smirks darkly before jumping away from me pulling his sword from my chest.

I fall to the ground a dizzy filling coming over me I could feel my eyes begin to close automatically this was it I was going to die I knew it I ran from my pack live for no reason. Only to end up dying anyway, an icy filling feels into my body, my heartbeat begins to grow slower and slower. Till there was nothing but utter darkness.

Third person

...

Yukia jolts up in her bed. Night time had just settled in outside. The room was covered in darkness aside from the small amount of moonlight coming in through the window. Yukia didn't care. She wanted desperately out of the stupid hospital.

Yukia flings the white covers on top of her off the covers, falling in a small heap on the other side of the bed. Climbing out of bed, with fresh tears streaming down her cheeks.

Yukia, heads for the door. She couldn't take resting anymore her nightmares only seemed to be getting worse. That one she just had felt and looked real. It was hard to believe it was merely a dream. Reaching the door to her hospital room, she moves her hand up to wrap around the door handle. However, before she could tug it open, something wrapped around her left wrist, causing her to pause and look down at her hand, blue eyes widening.

Despite the dark room. Yukia can still make out the small grains of sand that swirled gently around her wrist. The girl slowly turns back around her blue eyes going round as they suddenly make contact with two teal ones.

Yukia hadn't noticed anyone else in the room she figured she was alone, but then again, she was trying to leave the room in a hurry. Maybe that was why she hadn't noticed him? Lifting her arm up, she wipes away a couple tears still lingering in her eyes. She didn't want anyone to ever see her cry. Especially not Gaara, if he hadn't already.

Yukia didn't want to trouble him with her problems, looking to the ground. Yukia keeps herself from making direct eye contact again. As the red-headed boy walks out of the shadows of the room, a slight concern look on his face as he gazes back at her.

"What's wrong?" He asked curiously. Keeping his voice low.

"It's nothing," Yukia assures him, still watching the ground. Holding back more tears that were threatening to come out. Gaara narrows his eyes at her thought he wasn't completely good with reading human emotions, yet something was telling him she wasn't quite telling him the truth. Maybe it was because she was keeping her head down? Why was she not wanting to look him in the eye?

"What's wrong?" He questions again, more authority heard in his voice this time. "Did you have a nightmare?"

Yukia snaps her head up at that her eyes wide as they begin to waver with unshed tears. Feeling her legs suddenly start to tremble, beneath her, somehow feeling completely weak in the knees.

Unable to hold herself up any longer, Yukia falls to her knees. The tears she was struggling to hold back begin to pour from her eyes. Her head barely nodding.

"I thought I was back with my old wolf pack again they were beating me like they always did when they thought I did something wrong, I ran from them and ended up in the Titans city, and Debalo showed up and he killing me" She slowly explains to him in short detail, not wanting to explain the whole thing. Her shoulders drooping miserably.

His fist partly clenched down at his side. especially at the mention of Debalo's name. He was really starting to hate this guy. The evil man even bothered her in her sleep.

Yukia feels a gentle hand brush across her shoulders. Gently lifting her back up to her feet, her body tenses a little when she feels his arms wrap around her, pulling her closer to him.

"I won't let him," Gaara tells her in a low whisper.

Yukia could feel the beating of her heart increase. Being this close to him really stunned her. she didn't expect him to hug her. But for some strange reason, being in his arms made her feel kind of better, strangely? More protected. Safe. It was weird to her.

"I won't let him hurt you," He whispers once again.

Yukia rests her head against his chest, listening to the sound of his heart as it thumps against his ribcage. She hoped he was ok his heart was beating awfully fast. Possibly even faster than hers.

"I'll do whatever it takes to protect you from him, Yukia," he tells her softly. An unseen smile crossing her lips at those words.

The sincerity in them melting her heart. Why would he go so far to keep her safe? It really made no sense to her. Why would someone be so willing to keep her safe? Aside from her amazing friends.

Despite how strong she acted towards the dark-haired man; Yukia was scared of Debalo, of what he could do to the ones she cared about. She knew he wouldn't hesitate to kill them and thought she wouldn't admit it out loud she was afraid of being killed herself, even though she does the things that could possibly kill her, Yukia gently pulls away from him though his arms still remain around her waist, Yukia hoods her eyes.

"I know I put on a strong act when Debalo is around, but honestly he's the only person in the world who actually terrifies me" She admits to him, a deep sigh escaping her lips. Possibly because she was related to him.

Yukia had never admitted her fear out loud. Not to someone anyways she didn't want anyone knowing exactly how terrified of the guy she actually was, but she felt like she could trust Gaara with just about anything he did promise to come back earlier and here he was in her room trying his best to comfort her. He had been such a good friend to her, ever since her and the titans had been telaported here, and, while she couldn't understand why he was being so kind, she did know one hundred percent that, she trusted him.

Yukia barely puts her arms back around him, hugging him once more before fully releasing him. At which he slowly does the same.

"I will not let him hurt you," Gaara repeats again, his voice firm. As he watches her. Yukia stares up at him. Remaining quite.

In the few weeks he had known her, he had really begun to care for her. She was the only person who never feared him when they first met.

Yukia actually showed him kindness even though Shikoku had warned him not to start trusting her she would hate him if she found out about the one-tailed demon inside him.

it surprised him that she hadn't. If anything, she didn't seem bothered by knowing. It made him feel somewhat happy. He was going to do everything he could to keep her safe,

Gaara suddenly picks her up in his arms. If his siblings saw this side of him, he knew they would tease him.

Yukia widens her eyes, a small heat coming over her cheeks. As he walks her back over to her hospital bed.

"I could have walked back to the bed," she tells him shyly. Making him look down at her.

"It's fine," he replies coolly. "The bed isn't that far,"

"That's... not what..." Yukia starts her cheeks, continuing to burn up. As she tries reverting, her eyes arms crossed over her chest, with a cute pout on her face. "I...meant..."

Not able to argue her point, Yukia falls silent. It was hard to argue. When her heart was beating so fast. The words dying down in her throat. As she keeps her eyes downwards. Still with a pout on her face.

Gaara gently places her down on the bed before walking over to pick the covers up from off the floor. And, covering her up.

A small unheard chuckle comes from his lips when some of the cover ends up covering up the girls face. A deadpan look coming over her face.

"Well, I guess I didn't want to see you anymore either, Gaara." Comes the sarcastic muffled reply. Rolling his eyes, Gaara pulls the covers down, uncovering her face.

"Sorry," He mutters innocently, his eyes looking back into her blue ones. what she had just said, registering a little in his head.

"You really don't want to see me anymore?" He questions lowly a hurt look flashing in his eyes. Without another word, he then turns to walk towards the door. A small smirk playing on his lips, he wanted to see what her reaction would be if she thought he was leaving. He knew she was joking, or at least he hoped she was lying.

"Wait!!" Yukia cries she sits bolt upright in her bed, her covers falling down to her knees.

She bites at her lower lip nervously. She shouldn't make him stay if he wanted to leave. but she really didn't want to be alone her nightmare was still bothering her.

"Please don't go yet I was just kidding" Yukia tells him, her eyes casting down to look at her covers her hands laying on top of her lap she wraps and unwraps a small string around her finger. "I'll even move over so you can sit on the bed if you want, you don't have to sit in the uncomfortable hospital chairs."

His teal eyes look back at her, he had already come to a stop not hesitating much he Turns completely around and walks back over to the bed, Yukia quickly moves over motioning him to sit down beside her.

A huge red comes over her cheeks when he actually sits down beside her in the bed. Yukia cuddles into her covers her eyes flicked up to him, a tired smile coming over her lips.

Yukia knew he would probably leave her soon. But having him there till she fell asleep was enough. He lays down on the bed beside her, staying on top of the covers. Not wanting her to feel too uncomfortable with him being there, his eyes watch her as she starts to drift in and out of sleep.

Gaara slowly puts his arm around her. Pulling her a little closer to him. it almost looked as if she would fall off the bed backwards she was so close to the edge.

Yukia's tired eyes barely widen, at the sudden closeness, having not been expec it. But she was way too tired to try and move away from him. And, if she was honest, it was a bit comforting being close to him like this.

Yukia cuddles a little into his side, the beat of his heart drumming in her ears. Like a peaceful drum beat that just kept beating. It was such a peaceful sound to her.

"Goodnight," he mumbled lowly in her ears. He was silently glad the room was dark, and she wasn't completely able to see his face it was a bit red. He was not good with these unexplained emotions. Never truly felt this way towards anyone before.

"Thank you," Yukia whispers in a low hushed voice, as sleep quickly creeps over her, pulling her into its debts, the smile staying glued to her lips as she falls into a deep sleep

...

A bright light awakes Yukia from her peaceful sleep. Just as a few soft chuckles suddenly sound in her head. Choosing to ignore them for now.

Yukia's mind was more focused on. What was beside her. Making her feel so comfortable and warm. A soothing beat echoes in her ears. Reminding her of a small drumbeat. Why did she feel so relaxed for?

Yukia allows her eyes to flutter open, quickly glancing around the room. Yukia easily spots all five Titans standing in her room.

A huge smile placed across each of their faces except Raven. Though Yukia could swear she could still see the outlines of a small smile on the girl's face. Yukia barely tilts her head questionably at her friends. Another chuckle coming from their lips.

"Well, Yukia, you look rather comfortable." Cyborg teases his robotic eye-raising slightly with amusement.

"I think it's rather cute friend Yukia." Starfire chirps loudly, her hands clapping in front of her face. As she barely floats off the ground.

Yukia peeks at them once more, a confused look coming to her face she tilts her head up, wanting to see what her friends could possibly be gawking at.

Yukia's eyes fly wide open a huge red painting over her cheeks, there was someone lying beside her. One of his arms wrapped around her waist awfully tight. She flicked her eyes up to his face his eyes were closed, and she wasn't sure if he was asleep or not.

Yukia's blue eyes cast back over to her friends. Staying uncharacteristically quiet. Feeling unsure of what excuse she could come up with to tell her friends. What could she say, really?

Yukia, really hadn't been expecting him to stay with her all night long, she thought when she woke up the next morning, he would have left like he had done the last time but to see him still lying beside her really surprised her, however, she wasn't in the slightest bit mad. Embarrassed on the other hand most definitely.

Raven stood against a wall, another book resting in her hands, Robin sat in one of the uncomfortable hospital chairs, a small smirk playing on his lips. As his eyes raise slightly at his young red-headed teammate.

Yukia only rolls her eyes at him. Starfire floats beside the masked boy, her emerald green eyes sparkling brightly at Yukia adoringly.

Beastboy also sat in a chair head resting on top of his hand, a tired look still lingering in his deep green eyes.

Cyborg stood against another wall, his robotic eye watching the red-headed girl it was quite nice to see her look so relaxed.

"Good morning," She whispers lowly. If he was asleep, she didn't want to wake him up. Despite her embarrassment.

"I don't think I have seen you sleep so peacefully before," Beastboy points out with a bright grin spreading across his lips.

Yukia, had to admit she had slept quite well with him there beside her it was some of the best night sleep, she's had in a long time, her nightmares seemed to have left her alone, for once and, she was actually able to sleep.

Feeling movement beside her, Yukia cast her eyes up to Gaara. His teal eyes now open. As he glances around at the titans.

The boy, easily able to hide his emotions from them. He then turns his head back down to Yukia. The warm smile on her lips seems to make him smile just a tad.

"We have visitors," Yukia tells him lowly. Gaara slowly removes his arm from around her, though she silently wished he hadn't.

"I should go for now," He tells her lowly, another little smile coming to his lips, at the slight disappointment that flashed in her blue eyes.

She clearly didn't want him to leave yet, but she wouldn't force him to stay here. He quickly climbs out of the bed and walks to the door, his hand wrapping around the handle, sliding it open, his eyes gazing one last time at the girl on the bed her blue eyes watching him.

"See you later, Gaara." Yukia waves her hand slightly as he exits the room.

The door shutting quietly behind him. Robin, Beastboy, and Cyborg, all three stiffen up another chuckle. While Starfire smiles brightly. Raven continues to read her book, seeming uninterested in the situation.

Clearly, Yukia was ignoring them for now. Her mind focused on. The sound of his footsteps echoing in the hallway. That is until they completely vanish, from her ear shout.

"What just happened?" She cries out loudly. Causing all but Raven to jump up from the sudden outburst. "What the heck, I don't understand. What happened?...

All four titans start laughing at the flustered girl. Not use to seeing her being so embarrassed. As she continues to try and figure out what had happened.

...

A few days later

"I am well aware of the dangers in this world, but I believe me, and the others are more than capable of handling it, we are stronger than we look," Robin tells the Hokage simply.

Him and the other titans, as well as Yukia, stood in the middle of the hokage office. Right in front of the blonde woman. With Robin trying to get her to agree to let them do more, then sit around.

Yukia bits on her lower lip, nervously unsure of this decision. But not willimg to try and argue her view of the matter. Yet that is.

Lady Tsunade sat forward. Hands held up in front of her mouth, eyes narrowed at the six teens standing before her awaiting for, them to finish talking. Shizuna at her mentors side remained quiet, with Tonton resting in her arms. The chocolate haired woman seemed to be uncertain about the not so normal looking teens standing before her.

"We would love if you would give us a mission, were not really us to sitting around." Cyborg picks up for Robin, giving the Hokage an even look when her eyes flick to him. "At least not all the time."

Flicking her eyes down to a large stack of paper laying under her arms. Due to most of the more skilled chunin and jonin being out of the village and the few genin that were still in the village, not to mention the sand ninja, that was still staying in the village.

Lady Tsunade didn't feel as if she had much of an option. Plus, she heard the rumors of the young hero's helping to keep the village safe a couple days ago as well, perhaps she could trust them with one mission, see how they do. It wouldn't have to be anything difficult either. She looks back up at them, moving her hands from in front of her mouth, laying her hands down on top of her desk.

"If you think you're up for it," the hokage agrees. Picking up a piece of paper. And handing it over to Robin.

Robin holds the paper up his masked eyes quickly, skimming over the sheet of paper, in his hands.

"That is a b rank escort mission," Lady Tsunade explains slowly. Releasing a sigh. "It's possibly one of the easier missions i have right now, and I feel like you all can handle it. Of course, I'll be sending a few genin to help as well. They would know on which way to go"

"Each mission is ranked based on the difficulty, from D all the way up to SS rank." Shizue puts in feeling the need to give a little information on how the mission system worked. Despite not being sure on the titans herself. Surely, if Lady Tsunade trusted them. Then Shizuna could too.

"What's the mission?" Yukia wonders, tilting her head towards Robin curiously.

"To take someone back to their home," Robin tells his friends. While reading the mission once more. "Will be heading to a place called the hidden grass village?"

"Interesting," Yukia muses. As she falls silent.

"It sounds like the fun." Starfire chirps up brightly. Jumping up and down in her excitement.

"Are you up for it?" The hokage wonders. Getting the paper back from Robin, and sitting back in her chair.

"It works, fine," Raven answers in her low monatoned voice. A bored look glued to her face as her eyes read over the small book in her hands.

Raven was easily able to read the book and keep tabs on what was being ssid round her. Lady Tsunade flicks her eyes over to Yukia.

"Are you feeling up for a long trip?" She questions dryly. "You were just released from the hospital today and might need to rest longer."

"I feel great, thank you," Yukia tells her honestly, a distastful look crossing her face. At the suggestion to rest. She didn't want to rest. She was tired of resting. "I appreciate the concern, Lady Tsunade, but I feel amazing, actually I've never felt better, your an amazing medic,"

Lady Tsunade smiles warmly at the young girls praise. Before picking up a pin, the hokage begins to scribble something down on a blank piece of paper. She then hands the piece of paper over to Shizuna. With the chocolate woman's eyes already skimming over the paper in her hands.

Nodding her head once, at the blonde woman, Shizuna rushes from the room.

"Go to the gates in an hour," Lady Tsunade tells the titans, leaning back in her chair, her Carmel eyes now looking over her nails uninterestingly.

The Titans each smile at the blonde woman. Glad she was willing to give them a chance. They each turn to exit the room, Yukia following close behind her friends. Being the last to leave. The door being closed quietly behind her.

...
