A/N: Hello dear readers and welcome to the second chapter of All Worlds Alliance Chronicles - Assorted Stories and I'm glad that everyone enjoyed the previous chapter of All Worlds Alliance Stories. In this chapter, I'm doing another 'rescue mission' since I haven't done one for a very long time now, so I hope you all like it.

Isla Berdugo, Patayan Colosseum
In a floating island called Isla Berdugo, we head towards an area called Patayan Colosseum. As the name suggest, the colosseum is build for people to watch two or more fighters takes on each other as they fight to the death.
The colosseum is currently filled with many spectators which mostly consists of aliens in various forms and all are excited to see some gore and carnage.
And in the large and spacious arena, one gates opens and four figures steps out, three males and one female to be exact.
The first male is a tall with a muscular and athletic body type, he has brown chestnut hair and has blue eyes. He wears a black metallic bodysuit underneath a white armored chest plate with a blue 'M' shaped highlights, white & blue armored pauldrons and cuffs, and white & blue armored thigh-high boots and kneepads. This is Maxwell McGrath, also known as Max Steel.
The second male is a tall, muscular man with slicked back brown hair and has blue eyes with two blue rectangular-shaped markings underneath each eyes. He wears a blue t-shirt with a white & orange trimmings, a star logo on the left shoulder and a shoulder armor with bolts strapped around his body. He wears blue jeans, a white & blue high-cut shoes and white arm bands. This is Brian Battler.
The third male is a tall man with a short dark-brown hair and dark-brown eyes. He wears a dirty white bomber jacket with furred hood and shoulder pad over a black tight shirt with goggles wrapped around his neck, a ammo-strapped suspenders are attacked to his black pants with dark-gray cowboy-like camouflage pants, a silver-colored circular buckled brown belt with holsters attached on each sides, metal kneepads, campouflage-colored boots and brown gloves. This is Wayne Holden.
The female has a slim build, she has a long red hair and has green eyes. She wears a white bikini-like clothing with red details and red boots. This is Tyris Flare.
Suddenly, a voice is heard all over the colosseum, "From your planet's throne, I welcome you all to the game with one winner and no rules!" the announcer greeted, "Death Battle Ascension!" he declared as the crowd went wild.
Wayne sighed, "Looks likes this is it." he uttered in defeat, "It's been nice knowing you guys." he said.
"Listen, strength comes in numbers." Max advised, "We can survive this if we work together." he declared.
Brian raised an eyebrow, "On yeah?" he questioned, "The guy from the last battle said the same thing." he pointed out.
Wayne then jabbed a thumb at the pieces of armor scattered all across the ground, "Yep! It didn't end well for him." he added.
Max narrowed his eyes, "Right." he uttered.
"UNLEASH THEIR OPPONENTS!" the announcer beckoned as the crowd cheered in response.
Another gate opens and out comes five minotaurs with large axes in hands, the four got themselves ready as the monsters looms over them.
"Okay." Max uttered, "Let's do our best to survive this." he beckoned.
Meanwhile at the very back of the audience area, we see two cloak-wearing figures with their faces concealed by their hoods. However upon closer look, it's none other than Kyou Mibu and Mai Tokiha.
Mai looks around at the rather wild audience, "Geez... the people here sure don't look excited." she commented sarcastically.
"We're not one to talk but at least we care about the fighter's health and safety unlike the audience here." Kyou admitted.
"I hope the others are doing good with their tasks." Mai uttered in concern.
Kyou grinned, "Don't worry, they'll managed." he reassured, "The only thing we need to do for now is wait for the right time to strike." he advised.
Meanwhile inside an area where the fighters are being kept, we see one guard walking down the halls while looking around for anything suspicious when suddenly, the guard felt something from behind.
And before the guard could do anything, the guard felt someone striking the back of his neck before falling down on the ground unconscious, and standing above the fallen guard is none other than Ezio Auditore da Firenze.
"Let's go!" Ezio beckoned.
Ezio then dashes forward and is followed by Travis Touchdown, Korra, Terry Bogard and two more persons which is a male and a female.
The male is a tall lean young man with very sharp facial features, pointed ears, pointy pug nose and sharp fangs. He has short black hair with a long white streak which falls in front of his face and spirally sideburns, and ha gray-colored eyes. He wears a black trench coat with red outlines, red buttons and a golden-colored aiguillette, black pants, brown boots and white latex gloves. This is Aleister Crowley III.
The female is a young woman with short blonde hair down to her neck, and bright red eyes. She wears a long sleeve white shirt, long purple skirt, gray stockings and black high heeled shoes. This is Arcueid Brunestud.
"Are guys sure it's okay to leave that guard on the floor like that?" Korra questioned in concern, "Like the rest that we knocked out on our way here." she added.
"Our infiltration will be discovered later on anyway, so it's better not bothering it." Aleister replied with a blank expression.
"I don't find that assuring." Terry commented in disbelief.
The group then arrives at the very end of the hallway and saw three doorless entrances, one on the right and two two on the left.
Ezio turns to his comrades, "All right, Travis and I will enter the cell room at the right side, Korra and Terry will enter the first entrance of the left side while Aleister and Arcuied will enter the last one." he instructed, "If you found any imprisoned fighters, then free them quickly." he advised with everyone nodding in compliance, "All right, let's go." he beckoned.
Meanwhile inside the cell to the right side, we see five persons gathered around behind the bars, four females and one male to be exact.
The first female is a tall woman with a prominent bust, slender waist, and stands just a bit shorter. She has long wavy brown hair that is braided around her head and tied with a blue and red bow around the back, and she has purple eyes. She wears a one-piece gown with a revealing top and a blue corset with a metal guard. She wears elbow guards with blue and red stripes, and white gloves on her hands. She also wears metal boots and shinguards. This is Mamako Oosuki.
The second female is a teenage girl of average height and has a slim physique. Her orange hair is usually tied into twin tails at the side of her head and her bangs frame her face. She often wears a red and white dress with a matching long-sleeved jacket. She also wears knee-length boots, stockings, and a cape. This is Wise.
The third female is a teenage girl of average height, she has a pale complexion and a prominent bust. She has blue, shoulder-length hair that matches her eyes. She wears a white sleeveless-buttoned dress with collar and metallic ornament that serves as a tie, she wears a baggy detached sleeves with buttoned cuffs, black stockings and a white thigh-high boots with gray linings and straps. This is Medhi.
The fourth female is a short girl, she has a short pink hair with two locks braided and she has green eyes. She wears a green & white hooded poncho with over-sized sleeves & cuffs and white neckerchief wrapped around the collar, she wears a white puffy shorts with blue linings, dark-green thigh-socks and brown boots. She has four buckled straps wrapped across her body in a 'x' form and a pair of buckled belts wrapped across her waist. This Porta.
The male is a teenage boy with an average build, he has a short brown hair and has blue eyes. He wears a blue-collared tailed coat with gray linings and patches on each shoulders, a white-collared shirt over a black top, black pants and silver-colored boots. Several brown-colored straps wrapped around his waist, a blue & white pinstriped pauldron on his left arm and wears a pair of white gloves. This is Masato Oosuki, Mamako's son.
Wise is seen walking back and forth, Masako and Porta sat on the bed while Masato and Medhi sat on chairs, the four watches Wise paces around the room.
"This suck!" Wise uttered in annoyance, "We really need to get out of here before they use us for their entertainment!" she beckoned.
"Easier said than done." Masato replied, "This place is loaded with guards and even if we managed to slipped past through security, we're on a floating island and the only transportation used to get in and out of this place is stationed in another floating island." he pointed out.
"And add that fact that our abilities are pretty much limited here thanks to a certain system, the odds are pretty much against us if we try to escape." Medhi added.
Wise crosses her arms in frustration, "This is so frustrating." she uttered.
"Don't worry, Wise." Mamako reassured, "We'll just think of another way to escape this island." she beckoned.
Masato crosses his arms, "Now that's another problem... thinking an alternate way to escape." he thought out loud.
Suddenly, Ezio and Travis ran inside the room, much to their surprise and Porta immediately recognized them as their fellow prisoners back from the Slave Fortress.
"Hey, it's you two!" Porta exclaimed.
"Ezio Auditore da Firenze and Travis Touchdown, I believe were their names." Medhi uttered out loud.
"What are you guys doing here?" Wise questioned, "I thought you were sold to that mad scientist?" she reminded.
"We managed to get away from that mad scientist." Ezio answered.
"Anyway, long story short, we're free and we're here to get you guys out." Travis declared.
Masako smiled, "Really? Thank you very much." she said in gratitude.
Ezio brought out a wind-up key from his pockets, "Don't thank us yet." he said, "We still need to get out of this island first." he stated.
"But the only transportation use to get off this island is stationed in another island." Masato pointed out.
"Don't worry, we brought our own transportation." Travis reassured with a grin.
At the same time in the other cell on the left side, we see Terry opening the cell door and out come three people, three girls to be exact.
The first girl has a full figure, she has a pale pink, bob-styled short hair and reddish pink eyes. She wears a white, button-up shirt, purple ribbon, dark purple jacket with pink trim and a black lining, a charcoal gray skirt, light gray leggings, and black shoes. This is Akane Shinjou.
The second girl has a long glossy black hair, some of which goes over her shoulders and curls. It leaves her ears mostly visible, some hair tucked behind them and she has bangs that go just above her eyes. Her eyes are mostly blue but they have tints of pink in the bottom. She wears a white collared shirt with a red bow. Over it, she has a long white sweater that buttons below the bow. On its top left side, it has a slightly hexagonal badge. She has two pockets, which both have two black stripes on the top. Her sleeves are baggy and the ends also have two black stripes on them. The sweater's buttons are yellow, and the top three are buttoned, while the bottom two are left undone in order to show her black skirt underneath. Her skirt is shorter than the length of the sweater. On her right wrist, she wears an orange scrunchy, which she used to tie up her hair in one episode. Her shoes are brown and she wears dark pink medium length socks. This is Rikka Takarada.
The third girl has a fair-skin tone and a slim build, she has short blonde hair and has lime-green eyes. She wears a khaki colored military jacket with an orange hoodie, a black mid sleeved shirt, khaki colored shorts, ESS goggles, a pair of black military gloves, and a pair of olive kneecaps. This is Hotaru Tachibana.
"Thank you very much for letting us out." Rikka said in gratitude while bowing down a little.
"It's no pleasure." Korra reassured.
"But it's good to see you guys again." Hotaru said with a smile, "I was really worried of what happened to you guys when you got purchased before us." she stated.
Korra chuckled nervously, "Well... what happened to us afterwards isn't pretty but you don't need to know that." she stated with Rikka and Hotaru looking at each other in confusion.
"So, what are we going to do now?" Akane asked.
"Let's meet up with the others first." Terry answered.
And with that, Terry's group met up with Ezio's group in the hallways, Masato, Masako, Wise, Medhi and Porta were happy to see Terry and Korra are all right while Akane, Rikka and Hotaru shares the same sentiment towards Ezio and Travis.
"All that's left is to wait for Aleister and Arcueid to arrive." Ezio beckoned.
"Who?" Wise questioned.
"Friend of ours." Travis answered, "They're part of the organization that saved us." he explained.
"Organization?" Akane questioned.
"We'll explain that one later." Terry replied.
"Ezio, Travis!" a voice called out.
Everyone then turns to see Aleister and Arcueid alongside three persons, two males and one female to be exact, approaching them from the last cell.
The first male is a tall, muscular African-American with a short black hair with the lower fading to gray and has dark-blue eyes. He wears a blue, stub-collared vest over a black long-sleeve bodysuit with white and blue designs, blue pants with a silver-buckled black belt, black boots and white arm gloves with black patches. This is Adam Brashear, also known as Blue Marvel.
The second male is a muscular, young man with a tanned skin tone. He has a black hair and dark eyes. He wears a black top, green shorts with white garter, black & gray laced boots and green boxing gloves. This is Little Mac.
The female is a pretty young girl with fair skin, a large bust and has pink eyes, and she has an extremely long silver hair which are usually accessorized with a ribbon. She wears a white collared capelet with black linings and a black ribbon tie over a white sleeves buttoned shirt, a black waistcoat wrapped around her mid-section, black skirt with white frills, white thigh-high socks and black laced shoes. This is Iris Freyja.
"Sorry were late." Arcueid apologized, "Took me sometime to open their jail cell." she explained with a nervous grin.
"That's why I told you that I should do it instead." Aleister chastised.
"But I wanna do it!" Arcueid whined.
Terry sighed, "Vampires..." he uttered in disbelief.
After that... the freed prisoners decided to introduce themselves to Aleister and Arcueid and one name caught the latter's interest.
"Tachibana?" Arcueid uttered, "Are you perhaps related to Chizuru Tachibana?" she asked.
"I... I had three relatives that shares the same name." Hotaru answered.
"He's a guy with blonde hair, he has blue eyes and has a mole underneath his right eye..." Arcueid listed off.
"And he's half-German." Aleister added.
"Right! He's half-German!" Arcueid said in agreement.
Hotaru's eyes widen in surprise, "Oh! You're talking about 'that' Chizuru." she uttered in realization, "You know him?" she asked in surprise.
Arcueid chuckled, "We're actually pretty good friends with him." she replied.
Ezio then interrupted, "Let's save this conversation for later." he piped in, "Right now... our main focus is to get out of here." he reminded, "However... we need to meet up with the others first." he stated.
"There are other groups besides you?" Adam asked.
Travis nodded, "Yep." he replied in confirmation, "Two groups were tasked to free the imprisoned fighters and two of our friends are tasked to rescue the fighters whom are currently in the arena." he explained.
Masako gasped, "That's right! Max and the others are fighting in the arena right now!" she uttered in concern.
Korra then spoke, "Don't worry." she reassured, "Our friends will rescue them, they just need the right time to strike." she stated, "But for now... let's go meet up with the other group." she beckoned.
"Are they out to save the other imprisoned fighters?" Iris asked with a hopeful expression.
Korra nodded, "Yes." she replied in confirmation.
"Don't worry." Terry reassured, "We're aware that the other wing is heavily guarded but the other group can take care of themselves." he explained.
"And what about the owner of this island?" Adam inquired.
Travis turns to him with a grin, "Don't worry, we'll deal with the owner later." he replied.
Meanwhile and at the same time, we head towards the other wing where we see a large number of unconscious guards lying down the hallways and straight ahead, we see Jinbe, Yan, Robin Nico, Dutch and another female running across the halls while knocking down every guards on their path.
The female is pretty tall young woman with a fair skin tone and an ample bust, she has hazel eyes and a long black hair, which she has almost always tied into a braid, where a few of them fall as strands in the face. She wears a long dark red robe, white pants and brown boots. In addition, she wears a white, long linen belt around the hips. This is Balsa Yonsa.
"They weren't kidding that this place is loaded with guards." Dutch mused, "But nothing that we can't handle." he declared.
"I see two entrances up ahead!" Robin pointed out.
"Alongside two guards." Jinbe added.
At the every end of the hallway, two guards took notice of their arrival but before the two could do anything, Dutch and Balsa charges forward before proceeding to knock the guards out with their respective weapons.
"Good work, you two." Jinbe complimented before turning at the two entrance ways on right side and left side of the hall, "Dutch and Balsa, please free the prisoners from the right while Yan, Robin and I will free the ones on the left." he instructed with his group nodding in compliance.
Meanwhile inside the cell to the left side, we see three persons gathered around behind the bars, one male and two females to be exact.
The male is a tall and muscular African-American, he has a brown hair styled in a mohawk and a small goatee, and he wears sunglasses. He wears a black track jacket with a red & white collar and bottom, black tight shorts with white waistband, white socks, black boots and his hands & lower arm is wrapped in tapes. This is Heavy D!.
The first female is a young woman with a slim frame, she has a short bobcut brown hair and has brown eyes. She wears a white jacket which is folded up to her elbows over a white and blue dress. She wears blue knee-high socks and white boots. She also wears matching blue and white gauntlets a red choker. This is Alice Tsukagami.
The second female is a young woman with a long blonde hair with a few locks tied on top and has blue eyes. She wears a blue short leather jacket over a shoulderless top, dark-purple pants with yellow loose belts, yellow shoes and dark-blue fingerless gloves. This is Claire Fox.
"I wonder if Max and the others are doing doing fine." Alice thought out loud, "They're taking part of a battle right now and I can't help but feel worry about them." she admitted in concern.
"Yeah." Heavy D! uttered in agreement, "Let's just hope that they work together because God knows they need to work together if they want to survive." he stated.
Claire then perked up when she heard footsteps, "Someone is coming." she announced as Jinbe, Yan and Robin then enters the cell which surprises them as they were expecting some guards, Claire then recognized one of them, "Yan!" she called out in surprise.
Yan smiled in response, "Claire!" he replied in relief.
"Someone you know personally?" Robin questioned.
Yan rubs the back of his head, "Well... let's just say that she's my ex-girlfriend." he stated which made Claire pout in response.
Jinbe then quickly open the jail cell and the imprisoned fighters wasted no time walking out from it with Claire running towards Yan and then embracing him in joy.
"Thank you very much for helping us out." Alice said in gratitude.
"Yeah, we owe guys big time." Heavy D! said in agreement.
"It's no problem." Robin reassured, "We're sorry that it took us time to rescue you all." she apologized.
Alice shook her head, "It's all right." she reassured, "This world isn't easy to find to begin with." she stated.
"We better meet up with the others." Jinbe beckoned, "We can't stay here for too long." he said.
And with that Jinbe's group exited the cell and met up with Dutch's group in the hallway.
"Guys! Check out who we found." Dutch beckoned with a grin before presenting everyone a boy and anthropomorphic duck, much to Jinbe and Robin's surprise.
The boy is a short kid with a brown hair, he has black eyes and has a buck-tooth sticking out from his mouth. He wears a homemade blue-colored super-tights wrapped with a pink belt and buckle with a F symbol, a pink flamingo-beak helmet, a pink terry cloth cape, pink gloves and boots. This is Milo Powell, also known as Captain Flamingo.
The anthropomorphic duck is a short mallard duck with white feathers, a large forehead, black eyes and orange beak and feet. He wears a gray fedora with an oversized brim and black band, a mask, a cape, and a long-sleeved coat over a turtleneck. The vast majority of his outfit is in shades of purple, with the exception of the turtleneck which is a teal color. This is Drake Mallard, also known as Darkwing Duck.
Jinbe raised an eyebrow, "Is that a kid? And a duck?" he questioned.
"I'm surprised as you are." Balsa admitted.
Drake tips his fedora, "Putting your surprised reactions towards my appearance... what is our next move, now that we're out?" he questioned.
"We're going to meet with the others and after that, we're getting outta here." Yan answered.
"But how?" Milo asked, "There's so many guards and wardens in this island." he pointed out.
"We've really taken cared a lot of them on our way here." Jinbe answered, "And I'm pretty sure the other group have done the same thing as well." he stated.
"You mean another group is rescuing the imprisoned fighters from the other wing?" Claire inquired.
Robin nodded, "Indeed." she confirmed before her tablet made a small ringing noise, she quickly checks it before letting out a smile upon reading a message, "Good news." she announced, "Ezio's group has freed the other imprisoned fighters and they're on their way to meet us." she reported.
Alice sighed in relief, "Thanks goodness." she uttered.
"All that's left are the fighters at the arena." Dutch pointed out.
"Oh shit! Brian!" Heavy D! cursed in panic.
"Two of our friends are already at the arena and are waiting for a signal to rescue them." Jinbe explained, "Speaking of which... since both teams have successfully rescued the imprisoned fighters in each wing, we should give the those two the signal." he stated, "Dutch?" he beckoned.
Dutch chuckled before bringing out a small device with a red button in hand, "With pleasure." he complied with a grin.
Meanwhile back at the arena, the crowd is shouting and cheering rather loudly with insane looks on their faces while Max, Brian, Wayne and Tyris are doing their best to survive, they've taken down two minotaurs so far but they're having a bad time taking down the rest.
As this is going on, we head towards at the very back of the audience area, we see Kyou and Mai observing the fight while waiting at the same time for them to strike.
"Those guys are doing good but I don't know how long will they last." Kyou commented.
"What's taking the others so long?" Mai uttered rather impatiently.
Suddenly, a loud explosion occurred underneath one part of the audience area, blasting and killing a number of audience on the process, much to everyone's confusion and shock.
"That's the signal!" Kyou pointed out, "Let's go!" he beckoned.
Back at the actual arena, Max, Brian, Wayne and Tyris were also taken aback by the explosion and watches as the crowd began to run around in panic when more explosions followed, blasting and killing more audience members that are trying to flee.
"What's going on?!" Tyris exclaimed in confusion.
In the midst of the confusion, one minotaur charges towards Tyris with an attempt to swung it's axe at her, Wayne took notice of this, "Tyris, watch out!" the winter soldier shouted.
Before anyone could do anything, Kyou and Mai arrives with the latter taking out the minotaur that tries to hurt Tyris while Kyou took care of the rest, much to the four's surprise.
"Woah! Who are you people?!" Max questioned.
Kyou stabbed his sword at one minotaur before quickly pulling it out, "May Manny forgive me for this." he uttered, "Anyway... we'll explain things later but we need to get out of this place fast while everything is still at chaos!" he exclaimed.
"I don't know what's going on but I'm all in leaving this place." Brian admitted.
"Ditto." Wayne said in agreement.
"Wait!" Max interrupted, "What about the others?" he questioned, "They're still imprisoned inside the main halls of this island!" he pointed out.
"Don't worry." Mai reassured, "Our friends already got them out." she revealed, "The only thing we need to do now is to meet up with them and get back to our ship, and get out of this island." she advised.
Max nodded, "Then let's get going." he beckoned.
Meanwhile at one side of the floating island, we see a large ship parked at the very edge and standing on it's open entrance hatch, we see Sadamitsu Tsubaki and Captain John Price waiting for the others' arrival.
"What's taking everyone so long?" Sadamitsu uttered in concern.
"Jinbe just sent me a message, they're already making their way back here." John replied before taking notice of Ezio's group, Jinbe's group and Kyou's group running towards their direction, "Here they come!" he announced before moving back inside the ship.
"Quick! Get in the ship everyone!" Sadamitsu beckoned.
And with that, everyone quickly made their way inside the ship while John and Sadamitsu made their way towards the control room, the two then sat on separate chairs and immediately started the ship.
"Fasten your seatbelts!" John beckoned at everyone.
"We're not even sitting!" Travis yelled.
And with that, the ship's entrance hatch closes and the large air-based vehicle quickly took off as numerous explosions continues to occur around the island. As the ship gets farther away from the exploding island, everyone watches as the island gets destroyed by various explosions.
"How many explosives did you guys planted in that island again?" Drake questioned.
"More than enough to destroy a whole island." Dutch answered with a grin.
"That's overkill!" Masato exclaimed in disbelief.
Terry shrugged his shoulders, "Can't deny that but the people in that island pretty much had it coming." he admitted.
"You people said that you'll deal with the owner of that island later but it seems like you're leaving him behind." Adam pointed out.
"That's why we bombed the island to get rid of him once and for all." Terry replied when everyone heard a very loud explosion. Everyone then looks out of the window and saw the island is now in pieces, "And judging by that loud explosion... I think it's safe to say that the owner didn't survive that." he declared.
"With the exception of the people inside this ship, no one managed to escape the exploding island, so no need to worry about anyone getting back at us." Sadamitsu explained in reassurance.
Drake scratches the back of his head, "Huh? Guess you got a point." he admitted.
"So, what are we going to do now?" Akane asked.
"We're currently making our way back towards the main base operation of the organization that the group and I are part of." Jinbe answered, "I know that you all have questions right now, however we'll save the explanations later." he stated, "For now, we want you all to take a rest." he advised, "I understand that it's been very stressful being imprisoned in that island." he related.
Wise sighed rather lowly, "Yes... it had." she replied in agreement.
