When worlds collide
~Chapter 19~

The stunning view of the village below left everyone, on the sharp cliffs around the village in awe. Narrow walkways led in and, out of the village. With many of the villagers going on about there day in a hurry. With a couple villagers stopping to chatter amongst themselves. Most of the home's. Where being held up above the water by huge pieces of wood.
"It's gorgeous" Ino cozes eyes sparkling admiringly as they stare over the beautifully small village.
Yukia slips to her human form. Not wanting the villagers below to be frightened of her huge wolf form, which she was sure they would be. Her long red hair falling down her back tied up in a tight ponytail. She loved when her hair was pinned up. The long flocks kept out of her face that way.
The five titans stood on both sides of her. With the small group of leaf ninja remaining up in the surprisingly tall trees that surrounded around the cliff.
"It's nice but something feels a bit off..." Robin trails off his eyes narrowed suspiciously as he watches a few children run over the walkways.
"It's strange the air here is very fresh and clean" Yukia mumbles lowly. A dark look crossing her face. "I've not even picked up the lingering stinch of blood in the air, it was said the villagers where being killed every night right?"
"Yes, that's what the reports are saying" Akira replies softly her eyes hooded, as she crosses her arms over her chest. "The chief of the village, will hopefully have more details on what's going on, we will have to ask him"
Akira, jumps down from the tree she had been standing in landing on the ground below safely. Shikamaru, Choji, and, Ino also leap down from the trees. As the group descends down the cliff into the village.
Entering the village. The group remains quiet as they make there way through the small walkways. Beastboy moving to the side barely avoiding being knocked into the water by a few small children.
Yukia eyes the walkway unblinkingly. Her mind constantly contemplating on who it was killing the villagers. It was a high possibility it could be Debalo. What would she do if it was him? She was really unsure. Maybe she was overthinking it?
"Hi dear friends, you have arrived safely it seems" a voice comes from in front of the group.
Knocking Yukia from her thoughts and making the group look towards a tall elderly man. The man strolls towards the group, for his age he seemed to be in great shape. Coming to a halt in front of Akira.
"I'm glad to see you all here safelty" the elderly man soothes with a kind closed eyed smile. "My names Kyoto, I was almost afraid the hokage wouldn't assist us in this dire time"
"My names Akira " the green haired woman introduces her voice low. "We got here as quickly as possible"
Everyone quickly introduces themselves to the elderly man. Who nods his head at each of them.
"Now that the introductions are done, come with me, we got you all a nice place to stay in till you get this all settled out" Kyoto turns to walk onwards. The group following close behind. "I can't help but notice Akira, you brought alot of young ones.."
"They maybe young..." Akira trails off her eyes casting over the titans and young leaf ninja. "But they will be fine, they are all trained, and very skilled though I've never truly been on missions with them, I know they will do ok"
"Really?" Choji comments with a tilt of his head.
"I was getting the feeling that you hated us" Cyborg adds getting a dry look from the green haired woman, though she remains quite.
"So Kyoto..." Shikamaru begins cganging the subject. "can you tell us what's been going on? Who's been attacking the village?"
"I'm not really sure myself " the elderly man confesses. "I've only seen the victims of the attacks. And, many of them have looked horrible, a few of the victims, haven't even looked themselves"
Feeling quilt feel in the pit of her stomach Yukia, hangs her head a downcast glint in her blue eyes. Robin placing a gentle hand on her shoulder. A reasuring smile gracing his lips as she glances up at the titan leader unsurely.
"It's going to be ok" he tells her knowning well on what she wae thinking of. "It might not be him, we need to get more details before assuming, the possibility"
"If it's him though..." she starts up in a low whisper. Unsure on how to go about finishing up what she was wanting to say. Shrugging of the masked boys hand zhe reliefs a deep sigh.
"I don't know what I will do" Yukia grumbles tonelessly.
"Have you been able to pick up his scent?" Beastboy wonders loudly.
"That's the weird thing" Yukia says with a shake of her head. "Aside from the nicely fresh water, and a few strong flower scents I can't seem to be able to pick up any thing else, maybe in my wolf form I might be able to. But right now nothing"
"Maybe once we start investigating more" Cyborg reasons. "You will find something "
The small group turns a corner heading straight towards a huge boat house. Two wooden doors set in the middle with several front windows in the front. Kyoto turns to look at everyone a tender smile spreading over his lips.
"Here we are my young friends" he tells them all happily. "This is what we had set up for you.. it's a very beautiful place and I feel you will very much enjoy it"
"Is there any food in there?" Choji asked eyes sparkling up at the beautiful structure. Ino rolling her eyes upwards in annoyance. With Kyoto chuckling at the young ninja in amusement not bothered by his question at all.
"We filled the kitchen up with the finest food items around the village" he supplies, getting a happy grin from Choji. "It's all ready for you, when you get ready please start investigating as soon as possible we highly appreciate your help"
Bowing his head at the leaf ninja and, titans. Kyoto passes by the young ninja. Barely bumping a shoulder against Yukia's accidentally.
"O I'm sorry dear" He soothes. Apologetic look in his old eyes as he watches the young girl.
"It's fine.." the girl murmurs lowly her eyes still on the ground. She hadn't really felt him bump into her. Her mind was to preoccupied on something else.
Kyoto continues to walk away. Just as Akira opens the door to the boat house. And, steps inside.
"It's beautiful" Ino cries. Causing Raven to whinch at the high pitch of her voice.
"Very beautiful " Starfire agrees excitedly. barely able to keep her feet on the ground due to her excitement.
The beautiful house boat. Inside had a medium sized living area. With a small red couch and arm chair. A long table set in the middle of the room with end tables close by the couch and, chair several old pictures scattered neatly on the mint green walls. Two double doors lead into the kitchen. On one side of the room. A long wide starcase cascaded down into what could possibly be bed rooms.
"Alright lets get to figuring out on what we are going to do" Akira replies as she takes a seat on the couch.
"We need to get more information on the situation and Kyoto doesn't seem to know much" Shikamaru begins sitting in the arm chair with a bored look in is chocolate eyes.
"I can search around the forest up on the cliffs" Yukia suggested. Sitting on the opposite end of the couch. Her eyes watching out one of the large windows. "Maybe I can pick up a scent there?"
"If you manage to find anyhting come right back here" Raven speaks up in a monatoned voice. Her eyes hooded as she cast them over to the young red head.
"Do not ingage anything in a fight if possible," Akira adds in dryly.
"Of course I won't " Yukia prompts with a cheeky grin at her friend, and the older jonin.
"Maybe Beastboy should go with you" Robin supplies. Causing Yukia to deadpan at him. Where was the trust at? "You don't need to go alone. Cyborg, can go with you as well Yukia, just incase"
"Ugh fine" Yukia rambles. Though she really didn't mind the two coming with her, honestly she felt comforted by it. Not that she would admit it out loud.
Plus Cyborg, and, Beastboy, probably already knew she didn't mind them coming.
"Shikamaru, Choji, Robin, Ino, and myself" Akira begins. "Can go see what the villagers may know about what's going on, get as much information as possible"
"Me and Raven can search from the skies" Starfire pipes up. "See if we can see anything from up there?"
"Let's rest up a bit" Akira decides noting the tired looks on the young leaf and titans faces. "Then will head out"
A few people sigh in relief, more then ready to take a small break. It had been a long track to this village. And, They where all pretty warn out.
...
Looking over the lower level of the boat house. Yukia, pokes her head into one of the large rooms. A huge king size bed was placed right in the middle of the big room. A small wooden Nightstand with a lamp on top of it settled near a small square shaped window. The walls where painted a pale almost minty blue. On one side of the room was another door. Possible a bathroom. If Yukia had to guess. An old looking chest rested in the front of the bed.
"I was thinking this place was huge but" Beastboy starts as he approaches her green eyes widen. "I'm almost speechless. This place is humongous "
Yukia shakes her head in agreement.
"The rooms are more like small apparentments, then actual bedrooms" she smiles. As she shuts the door to the huge room. "We really didn't need something this big, not for just a few of us. If it was a bigger group, maybe but.."
"I agree with you there" Beastboy says as the two walk down the narrowed hallway.
Having felt a scents of adventure the two had come down to the lower level to get a glimpse of the rooms. Honestly they where not expecting the rooms to be so big.
"Even the rooms with two beds are huge" Beastboy declares. "Possibly even more so then the single bedded rooms"
Reaching the stairs the to start climbing.
"You think they'll be ready to go soon? Its been a few hours now" Yukia wonders.
"I don't know" Beastboy answers. "I heard Shikamaru and the others say we may wait till later tonight"
Sighing lowly Yukia hangs her head. She really wanted to get this mission over with. The longer they where here. The more nervous she was starting to get.
"I guess that makes since" she grumblee. "Kyoto did say who ever it was. Was attacking at night. Which is strange"
Beastboy cast her a side longed look. His head tilting.
"How so?" He questions. As they come to the top step of the staircase. Yukia hooding her eyes.
"I'm not sure if what where after is Debalo " she starts distastefully. Causing Beastboy to droop his ears. She was just as bad As Robin when it came to Slade.
"Debalo would kill anyone he sees as an easy target" she tells him. "there is one thing I noticed though he likes people to see his face when they die. He gets pleasure seeing people's fear, so why all a sudden attack a village at night? Not many people can see good at night, and I doubt he would have fun as he would put it"
"Maybe he's trying something different" the green teen suggests. with a small shrug of his shoulder.
"That's True, he could be getting bored of his old ways of killing I guess" she mutters, bitting at her lower lip nervously. "I just kinda hope it's not him, I know I promised you guys I would not run after him anymore. But I'm not sure if I can control myself if I do. End up doing just that"
"Will be going out together right?" Beastboy points out a series look crossing his face, as he watches the young red head standing before him, her head nodding at his words. "Cyborg, you, and me? We will follow you if you try to take off, we will not let him hurt you"
Blinking her eyes at his words. Not having expected them to come from the comedic boy. Usually he would be picking at her or teasing her. Which she became so use to. But to hear him being actually serious was a small surprise to her. And, yet nice at the same time. Smiling up at the green teen. She shakes her head, giving him a closed eyed smile.
"Thank you bb, I needed to hear that"
...
-Later that night-
"Have y'all picked up anything yet?" Cyborg wonders. As he searches the surrounding forest, his human eye, barely casting to his two companions.
Beastboy as a blood houmd and Yukia in her wolf form both turn there heads to glance over at him. Yukia flatting her ears, a deep breath coming from her lips. As she slips to her human form.
"I've not gotten anything" she replies sorrowful eyes drifting over to the green dog. "The water is so clean and fresh, it blocks out any other scent that could come through"
Beastboy slips back to his human self looking just as defeated as Yukia felt.
"Ditto" he adds in shortly. Shoulders drooping Cyborg barely shakes his head at the two young titans.
"Let's head back I guess" he decides turning to head towards the village. Yukia and, Beastboy following a short distance behind.
A silence falls in around them as they walked back towards the village. Yukia was almost afraid to talk to them. The two males where usually never this quite.
Suddenly a loud snap sounds from behind the trio. Making them all come to a complete hault. The hairs on the back of there necks standing on in.
"Please tell me that was one of you?" Beastboy pleads urgently.
"Sadly it was not me" Yukia proclaims nervously. Just as a loud roar booms from behind them.
All three teens turn towards the noise. Beastboy letting out a loud gasp, as Cyborg stares at the huge creature standing before them. Yukia slips to her wolf form, a loud snarl escaping her lips. Stepping infront of the two titans protectively. She wouldn't let them get hurt, regardless on how big this unusually large creature was. The creature was about the same size of Yukia's wolf form, give or take..
It's body was shaped like a darker more scary wolf, with hoofs like a horse for feet. And, a long whip like tail. Demonic blood red eyes shined brightly in the dark. Making it seem even more eerie.
"What the heck is that!!?" Cyborg chimes up a trace of horror heard faintly in his voice.
With them having to fight all sorts of monsters in jump city. Cyborg should be use to creatures looking like the one standing in front of him does. But still he couldn't help but some what feel just a little frightened by it. Maybe it could be because he was still unable to use his sonic cannon? No matter what he tried he just couldn't make the right technology here, to charge it up with. That might be what it was. He was so use to being able to use it. Cyborg felt weird without it.
"We need to head back" Beastboy shouts. "We're not supposed to fight anything right now"
"We can't just leave" Yukia replies. Her eyes remaining on the creature as it crouchs low to the ground. Seeming to be getting ready to attack them. "It will just follow us into the village, we need to hold it off here"
"You think it's what's been attacking the village?" Cyborg wonders rhetorically not needing an answer. The thing was literally covered head to toe in the crimson red liquid, and he could only assume it was from killing the villagers.
Yukia snorts lowly clearly able to pick up the thick irony smell that seems to cover the creatures body. The scent making her feel abit nauseous.
The creature suddenly stands up on its back legs another loud roar coming from its lips. Before it's heavy feet smash into the ground with a heavy thud. A dust cloud swushing up around it's huge front feet.
At an impressive speed the creature suddenly charges torwards them. Huge teeth bared at the small group. Beastboy swiftly shifting to a Pterodactyl, before he descents up into the air he grabs Cyborg up in his long claws. Now moving away from the ground. He watches as Yukia, easily dodges the dark creature as it leaps for her. Only to appear behind it. Casting a small look up at the two titans. Thankfully for now they where safe thats all she wanted was them safe.
Yukia refocused her eyes back on watching the huge creature
Using her quick speed Yukia, quickly darts around the huge creature. The creatures head swerving around clearly trying to keep up with her fast speed.
The creature lets out a loud growl seeming to be getting irritated. Yukia widens her eyes as a long string of purple liquid is suddenly shot towards her. She quickly jumps out of the away. Just as the purple liquid splashing on the spot she had just been standing in. Causing the lushly green grass it came in contact with to immediately, die out.
"Poison" Yukia concludes almost knowinly. "That's going to make killing it harder"
"We need to get back for now" Cyborg calls down to her. Beastboy still keeping away from the creature though he was ready to go down there and help his friend out. If only he could put Cyborg some where, where he would be safe.
Yukia not given the time to answer her friends, quickly dodges another string of purple liquid. Before swiftly jumping for the huge creature, clamping her jaws down on the creatures shoulder, her fangs barely able to sink into the things thick skin. The creatures Blood dripping slowly down her bottom jaw.
'It's skin is so hard' she points out internally. A loud Shriek of pain escapes from the creatures lips. As it takes a step back. 'I'm barely able to sink my teeth into it like this'
"Wait a go Yukia" Beastboy cheers having placed Cyborg on a huge tree branch. And, was now standing beside the cybernetic teen in his human form.
The creature starts moving it's shoulder trying to get the blue wolf latched onto it off. Yukia, was doing her best to keep her grip on it, but with how desperate it was trying to shake her off it was difficult. Turning it's head to face the wolf. It opens its mouth wide.
Yukia widens her eyes, and, releases it, just as another string of purple liquid sprays from its lips. Aimed directly at her. Being quick Yukia manages to avoid the ray of poison but barely if she had been any slower. The liquid splashing on the ground, and just like before kills the grass on contact.
"That was close" she heaves out heavily. Eyeing the creature wearily. Blood spilling from the wound on it's shoulder. Atleast she managed to hurt it.
Bending it's knees the creature prepares to charge at her again. Its sharp razer like teeth bared dangerously at her. Showing her own teeth a low growl rolling from her throat, not backing down from the creature at all.
However before the creature had a chance to move towards her again. something green rams right into the huge creature. Making it skid across the ground. Beastboy stood infront of Yukia protectively, having shifted to a gorilla to help the young girl. Cyborg smirking from his spot up in the tree.
"Thanks bb" she says as the green boy lets out a loud roar of his own. Huge canines bared.
The dark creature turns to face him. A dangerous look in it's red demonic eyes.
"Becareful of the poison" Yukia tells the green boy. Not wanting to see him hurt. Of course she was going to help him.
Beastboy, nods his head at her words. Before pounding his huge fist into his chest. the green teen then charges forwards. Determined to get another good hit on the dark creature. as he draws closer and closer, the creature suddenly releases another ray of purple liquid.
Beastboy, moves to the side able to dodge the liquid easily. Just as the creature disappears from sight. The green teens eyes widening in alarm. His head whipping around to try and, find the dark thing. Cyborg squinting his eyes as he to tries to find the creature from his spot on top of the tree. A loud snarl from behind him, makes Beastboy snap his head towards Yukia. Her jaws clamped down on the creatures back leg. With its mouth mere inches of the green teens tender neck. If Yukia, hadn't grabbed it when she did...
Sweatdropping Beastboy steps back. Yukia, using her strength pulls the creature away hauling it over her head. And, sending it flying towards a nearby tree.
Breaths escaping from her lips. Not use to picking up something so heavy and throwing. Peeking back at Beastboy her eyes searching for any injuries even though she had grabbed the creature before it could get to the green teen, she still had to make sure he was alright.
Letting out a shout as something hard slams into her chest. Yukia is sent flying through the air, her body slamming hard against a huge boulder. She falls to the ground in a heep. A low groan escaping her lips.
"That didn't feel good" she mutters to herself. Her eyes spinning around dizzily.
"Yukia?" she hears Cyborg call from the trees, his voice actually seeming rather close by. "You alright?"
"I'm fine" the girl responds getting back to her feet, though a bit on the wobbly side. Maybe she wasn't all fine. But she wasn't going to tell Cyborg that. Blinking her eyes a few quick times, riding them of the dizziness still lingering in them.
Cyborg breaths out in relief. Before turnin his attention back to Beastboy, the green teen dodging another ray of poison, if only Cyborg could help them. Somehow, maybe if he had a rope even wire. He could wrap it around the creatures legs.
"Even with it injured it can move fast" Yukia tells him lowly, ears lying flatt against her head. As she keeps a close watch on Beastboy, she was ready to help him again if need be. "I'm not even sure if it realizes it's injured, it's body is so thick
I barely was able to sink my teeth into it"
"How do we beat it then?" Cyborg asked himself Yukia still keeping watch on the green teen cast an eye up to Cyborg.
"Fire maybe?" She thinks aloud. "If only Shikamaru or one of the other ninjas where here with, those exploding paper thingys"
"You mean paper booms?" Cyborg questions sounding a bit amused. "Good to see your very informed on this world"
"Not like I live here" she says with a stubborn pout. Her eyes rolling upwards.
"Beastboy!!" both Cyborg and, Yukia suddenly shout out loudly, realizing it wasn't time to be picking at each other. Both teens watching as the creature hits the green boy square in the stomach with it's long whipped like tail.
A loud pop sounding through the forest. The impact possible breaking a rib or something. Beastboy roars out in pain.
A long deep red scar immediately forming on his green skin, taking a few steps back from the huge creature. Beastboy puts a hand on a nearby tree just incase he needed it. Before morphing into his human form. He peers down at the red mark on his skin, blood already coming to the service.
'That will leave a mark' he remarks inwardly as he turns his head to face the creature once again.
His teeth gritting together. As he places his hand on his stomach, blood immediately coursing through his fingers, and dripping down his fingertips. That thing was definitely strong, if Beastboy had been a normal human, that hit might have killed him instantly.
The huge monasteries creature looms only meters infront of him it's whip like tail hitting at the air with a powerful smack. Moving towards the green boy, Beastboy looks around for away to escape. If he shifted to something else he could get away. If only into the tree
However before Beastboy could go to do so the creatures tail suddenly wraps around his torso. Easily holding him in place.
"Get your nasty tail off him you jerk" Yukia snarls threateningly. Leaping onto the creatures unprotected back. Her sharp canines digging into the surprisingly week flesh of it's neck.
Letting out a loud shrek of pain the creature throws Beastboy to the ground with a sickening crack, the color in Beastboy's face draining as the oxygen in his lungs is knocked completely out.
The green boy groaning as he breaths in heavily. Yukia, casting him a worried look from on top, of the black thing, before her teeth sink deeper into its flesh, its blood soaking her blue fur. How dare it hurt her friend. It was going to pay.
Everything seemed to move in slow motion after that. The creature not seeming to be focused on the furious blue wolf on it's back. Despite it being in clear pain. Releases a long string of purple liquid directly at the green boy's face. Beastboy widens his eyes in alarm. With Yukia doing the same. Beastboy quickly shields his face with his arms
When suddenly a huge burning like feeling hits his arm flesh. Making him scream out in agonizing pain. Closing her tear stained eyes Yukia breaths in heavily. Cyborg already down from the trees and, running towards the green boy.
'You are gonna pay for that' Yukia thinks internally. A dangerous look flashing in her usually caring eyes.
Ripping her head backwards. A huge chunk of the creatures flesh in between her teeth. As more blood splashes on her fur. The creature releases a blood cursing screech. Pushing herself of the creature Yukia lands infront of the two titans. Eyes blazing with rage. A blue bubble suddenly placed around the two titans. She'd protect them if it was the last thing she did.
Yukia's mouth opens up wide. Revealing a blueish grey energy forming in the back of her throat. Before it's suddenly released in a huge burst.
The blue energy surrounding the area destroying several trees as it heads towards the dark creature in a fast projectile.
Cyborg holding and, unconscious Beastboy watches on in shock. Not having seen Yukia release this much power before, well not like this anyways. Yes she had released her power before like this. But not as big as she was releasing it right at that moment. Seeing Beastboy hurt probably bothered her more then she would be willing to say.
The creature releases a loud cry of anguish, as it is quickly ingulfed in the blue energy. In a mure second it is turned into nothing but dust.
Yukia, stops a minute jumping onto a nearby stomp, before releasing more blue energy from her mouth. Destroying more of the surrounding forest to mere dust.
"She is losing control" Cyborg declares in alarm. Glancing down at the green boy in his arms. "She doesn't know she won"
"Cyborg!?" A voice comes from the sky. Causing the robotic teen to look up. Spotting Raven and Starfire floating above him. Both of them watching there young red headed teammate Starfire clearly showing more worry then Raven.
Raven, lands on the ground and walks over to Cyborg the blue shield, Yukia had made Earlier had completely vanished a while back.
"Beastboy" she mutters in a low voice her eyes wide. Despite being good at hiding her emotions. Cyborg could swear he saw some worry flashing through her eyes as she looks over the green boy, in his arms.
"He got hurt badly" Cyborg informs her sadly. "That's why Yukia is losing control I think"
Starfire flies towards the blue wolf wanting to help her.
"Friend Yukia" she cries panicky. "Please calm the down, every thing is ok"
Yukia turns to face her. Her eyes squinting as she seems to try and think who it was infront of her. Not remembering Yukia, releases another huge blast of blue energy right at Starfire.
Who lets out a yelp as she flies out of the way barely avoiding the powerful blast.
"She's not thinking clearly " Raven replies in her monatoned voice having regained her focus on controlling her emotions.
"What should we do?" Starfire asked flying close to the titans concern in her emerald eyes.
Yukia, jumps down from the boulder eyes resting on the four titans. Tilting her head to the side. Trying desperately to remember them. her eyes widen when her mind seems to click on who they are. turning her gaze down to the green boy.
"Beastboy..." Yukia nutters tiredly. As she slips to her human form. And immediately falling to her knees. Her shoulders rising up and, down as she breaths in and, out heavily.
Starfire appears infront of the young girl, gently placing a hand on the girls shoulder.
"Are you alright Yukia?" Starfire asked caringly. With Yukia quickly snapping her head up to look over the Tamerainan her head barely shaking at the older titans words.a sword of quilt feeling in the pit of her stomach.
"Starfire..." Yukia cries. Suddenly lunging forwards hugging Starfire in a tight inbrace. Causing Starfire to pause in shock. "I'm so sorry.. I didn't mean to... I'm sorry I'm sorry"
"What for friend Yukia?" Starfire wonders returning the girls hug this one not bone crushing. As it usually would have been.
"I almost hit you!!" Yukia tells her quiltly. As she drops her arms back to her side and sits back on her knees. "I don't deserve to be called friend..."
"It's the ok friend yukia..." Starfire smiles. The girls no longer hugging. Starfire puts Yukia's arm around her kneck and helps her stand up the amount of power she had released making her a bit week. And, wobble.
Starfire allowing the young girl to lean against her for help. As she leads her back over to the other three titans.
"Bu...t..." Yukia goes to argue only to spot Beastboy and Cyborg, with the thought of arguing vanishing, for now. Bending down beside him. "Beastboy!!"
Yukia barely places a hand on the green boys hand. More quilt feeling in her gut. If only they had ran when they had the chance or if she had gotten to him quicker. He wouldn't be hurt. Maybe she could heal him. Yeah she could heal him. That would work.
Yukia let's her blue energy flow slowly around her hands, a sweatbead instantly forming on her foreheadz it would be hard to heal him. But she had to do something to help him. Her hands move to the wound on the green boys stomach. Blood oozing out, with what looked to be a purplish liquid mixed in with it, no doubt the poison that was now in his system
"No Yukia" Raven swats the girls hands away. Causing Yukia to widen her eyes at her friend. "No healing your to tired"
Yukia smirks at the Ravenett. Her eyes holding a determined glint.
"I will heal him" she states a sincerity heard in her voice."he got hurt because I refused to run away, him and Cyborg stayed because of me!! And, I'll use all my energy to help him if I must"
With that said Yukia focuses back on healing the long cut on the green boy's stomach. Feeling the wound beneath her palms slowly begin to heal blue. For now she was trying to, ignore the looks the other three titans were now given her, not looking up at them at all while she worked on healing the green boy. She didn't need to be talking to them right now anyways it would just mess her up. Even Raven seemed unusually concerned. Yukia, shouldn't have been trying to heal up anyone at the moment it was clear she was very tired from allthe power she had released. But the young girl was to stubborn to listen to reason. And, none of them had attempted to stop her again.
Yukia grits her teeth as her eyes flick up to the green boys face, Despite Beastboy being unconscious now, there still seemed to be bits of pain written on his face.
Yukia couldn't help but feel that him getting hurt was all her fault. If only they had ran when they had the chance he would not be in this condition. Or perhaps if she had been stronger...
Shaking her thoughts away, knowing well she couldn't lose focus right now. Yukia turns her eyes back to the cut on the green boys stomach. The wound healing awfully slow under her hands. Not having alot of energy left from all the energy she'd released earlier, healing him was actually very difficult she had to admit. But she, was really trying hard to push herself she wanted to make him better again. Even if it killed her.
After a couple long minutes Yukia falls backwards on to her knees, heavy breaths coming from her lips. And sweat pouring from her forehead. A strained look plastered on her face. The blue energy around her palms had already vanished.
"I can't, do anything about the poison" she mutters lowly. She had never been good at healing poison. "I managed to stop some of the heavy bleeding, and reduce the swelling from the broken rib, but the poison.. in his body, I can't do much about it, dang it why didn't you both leave when you had the chance Beastboy would be fine now!!"
"Your one of our friends..." Cyborg speaks up lowly. As he picks the green boy up gently in his arms, bits of concern flashing in his eyes. "We would never leave you behind."
Starfire helps Yukia to her feet. The young girl very wobble at the moment. If not for Starfire allowing Yukia to lean against her. She would have been back on her knees.
"Don't blame yourself friend Yukia..." Starfire smiles sternly, earning a hard look from Yukia.
Who else was there to blame? It was her fault all her fault, if they had just ran away from that thing.. Beastboy wouldn't be... gritting her teeth... but feeling way to tired to argue her point with her friends. She knew it was her fault she didn't need to hear other wise.
Though Deep down inside, Yukia knew her thoughts where probably wrong. Even if they had ran from that creature. She doubted It would have just stood around and, waiting for it's next victims to come along. It might have followed them into the village. And, that would have lead to many more people being hurt or worse killed. Which was why she wanted to fight it off in the first place. But if she had known one of her friends would have been hurt. She would have Atleast tried to get them to leave.
Yukia, closes her eyes. Feeling very dizzy all a sudden. Probably from using up to much of her power. She would need rest. If she got any would be the issues.
A few short seconds pass by and the sound of approaching footsteps comes to her hearing causing Starfire to come to a stop. Yukia feels quilt once more fill inside the pit of her stomach.
What would Robin say? It was clear both Beastboy and the titan leader weren't that close. But that didn't mean they didn't care for each other.
"What happened?" Robin questions looking over Beastboy in slight concern, eyes raised under his mask.
"We ran into the enemy " Cyborg replies lowly his eyes drifting to the green boy. "BB got hurt badly"
"It's my fault " Yukia proclaims lowly her eyes barely open as she looks up at Robin.
Robin, looks down at the young girl his masked eyes narrowed. Unsure on how it could be her fault Beastboy was hurt. She didn't seem to be doing good herself. If Starfire helping her walk was anything to go on.
"It's not anyone's fault" Raven states in her monatoned voice.
"No need to blame ones self for us getting hurt" Starfire adds in wisely.
"I don't think you would ever hurt Beastboy" Robin points out knowinly. The two practically picked at each other like brother and sister. He doubted she'd ever hurt him intentionally that is.
Yukia, falls silent once again not feeling up to talking to anyone at the moment, still in her own head about everything. Starfire slowly starts to walk again. The others walking infront of her.

Back at the house boat Raven stood by the bed. Beastboy had been placed in, when they gotten back. Her arms crossed over her chest. A blank look on her face. As she watched him sleep.
Beastboy breaths in and, out ruffly. Clearly the poison in his system, was making it difficult for him to breath properly. Due to her powers Raven was doing her best to not let any of her emotions pass through she knew she had to keep them in check. Which at the moment was proving to be difficult.
She wouldn't admit it to the others and, hardly was able to admit it to herself, without her powers going crazily. But Raven was internally worried about the green boy.
He was one of her best friends another thing she couldn't admit to out loud. Beastboy was the only one who ever cared to try and make her laugh, even though his jokes weren't that funny. He was the only one who would come and reasure her everytime she felt like she didn't belong with the titans, that she did. He cared for her something she was very thankful for.
If anything where to happened to him... There would be no more tofu stacked high in the fridge. No more moped magazines coming to the tower anymore.
Raven new the other titans would also be heart broken, if he didn't pull through this.
Beastboy was the only one who would play those lame video games with Cyborg and, watch those really bad movies the two seemed to always injoy. Starfire wouldn't have anyone try the different foods from her home planet. Beastboy was the only one crazy enough to try them.
Robin being the leader was already beating himself up for not being there to help them out when he should have. And, Yukia was clearly eat up with self quilt, if he didn't pull through this who would convince Yukia that it wasn't her fault? She wasn't listening to the others at the moment. And he might be the only one who could convince her other wise.
Why could he not just wake up now tell one of his lame jokes and let her know that he was gonna be ok. Even though she knew he wasn't ok far from it. But the thought was nice.
The bed room door swings open as Robin strolls into the room, going right up to the bed the green boy was resting in a worried expression clearly written on his face. Raven not once looking over at him sighs deeply. Her eyes downcast.
"Akira sent a help request to the leaf village" Robin informs her softly before releasing a sigh of his own. "If he can hang on they will be here in a few days.."
Raven barely nods her head at the titan leaders words. But decides to keep quite.
"Why is it ever since we got here one of you ends up hurt?" Robin wonders aloud. His fist clenching down at his sides as he closes his eyes. Raven barely casting him a small glance from the corner of her eye.
"This world is different then ours" she starts up in her tonelessly voice her eyes flickimg back to Beastboy. As she continues to speak. "We treat it as if where still back in the city, and that's just not the case here we're fighting stronger people with a power we don't know much on. As well as very dangerous creatures. We need to start being more cautious"
Robin stares solemnly at his teammate. His masked eyes now open, knowing her words to be true. Robin sighs as he gazes back to Beastboy. The room once again falling into silence.

Standimg outside the room Beastboy had been placed in Yukia leans up against the wall her eyes focused mainly on the ground. A tired look in her blue eyes, despite being so tired, she barely held her eyes open. She couldn't sleep to many bad thoughts roaming through her head, the bad thoughts making it almost impossible to get any sleep.. she had her arms crossed over her chest, hands curled up into tight fist. Digging the tips of her nails into the palms of her hands.
Yukia was over come with self quilt. It should have been her that was hurt. She would have rather it be her in there fighting for her life then her best friend. Even with a team of leaf ninja coming to help them she still didn't feel any better, about the situation.
Soft footsteps echoes off the walls of the boathouse. Stopping infront of the young girl. Yukia barely caat her eyes up to the tall male now standing before her. His chocolate eyes seemed to fill with concern. Or maybe she was just being diluted. Or to tired to fully tell.
"Shouldn't you be resting?" Shikamaru wonders with a tilt of his head.
Yukia barely nods her head at his words not up for talking. She was honestly tired of hearing everyone saying it wasn't her fault 'that Beastboy was hurt' It was getting really old, and that's not what she needed to hear. Yukia wasn't sure what she wanted to hear but it wasn't that. It just made her feel worse... Shikamaru sighs as he watches her. Her eyes not once looking back at him.
Shikamaru knew well on how she felt, possibly having felt the same way when Choji, Neji, and the rest of the retrieval team had been hurt, when they went to get Sasuke back. He could remember how bad he felt especially when his best friend almost died... and Neji practically did die... placing a comforting hand on the girls shoulder her head barely turning so she could be looking up at him from under her lashes.
"Use this as a learning experience..." Shikamaru suggests. His eyes hooding as she is now looking directly at him.
"What do you mean by learning experience?" Yukia asked curiously. Tilting her head. And, waiting for him to answer.
"Remember this moment, how you feel about your friend being hurt" The Nara explains seeming to sound wise for his age. "And next time be sure to make, the better choice, if not for you then for them, so it doesn't happen again"
Yukia turns to look down at her feet taking in the advice the young Nara had passed on to her, a smile slowly coming to her lips. Shikamaru's footsteps echoing down the hallway comes to her ears. Making her peer up at his disappearing figure.
"Thank you.. Shikamaru" Yukia mutters softly. knowing he probably couldn't hear her. He was to far away now. And, her voice was a bit low. "I will do better, this will not happen again, I swear it... on my life"
