when worlds collide

Akira carefully glances over the small group sitting comfortably around her. Her eyes void of most emotions. She had been in the Anbu black ops for most of her young life. And with that came an exceptionally good adaptation on hiding what she was feeling.

"I guess we should assume that that earlier attack could very well have been an attempt to keep us from investigating the matter further..." she begins with her voice almost as emotionless as her expressions.

"What information did you manage to get from the villagers?" Yukia wonders her eyes mostly downcasted, clearly still very upset on Beastboy getting hurt. She set beside, Robin and Starfire on the long couch. Her hands in tight fist in her lap, with her legs crossed.

"Weirdly enough.. we didn't get much information.." Ino answers her shoulders shrugging.

"It's like they don't even want help" Choji adds in. "Everytime I asked them what had been going on. the villagers would tell me 'they didn't know' and then slam the door in my face"

Yukia raises an eye at that. A dark look passing over her face.

"For them wanting help, they ain't giving much information, to us to do so" she mumbles lowly. "If that's the case we can just go, Beastboy needs to be healed up, and not. Lying in there on a bed for people who could careless"

"As much as I would love that" Shikamaru begins letting out a sigh. "We have to make sure this mission is finished fully, before going back to the leaf, besides help is coming to heal him..."

"Besides most of them could be in shock" Robin points out gently patting yukia on the shoulder he knew she was worried for the green boy. "And, with that shock may not be open to answering many questions on the matter"

"At anycase we need to investigate more" Akira starts up again after clearing her throat before slowly speaking again. "We will head out again tonight, to see if anything else attacks the village and if not we then can head back"

"I came up with a strategy that may work only if everyone agrees to it" Shikamaru suggests as he looks over the group, who seemed to be awaiting for him to continue. "I was thinking we could split up into small groups of two. Akira, Ino, and, Choji with me"

"I like it so far" Choji muses with a smirk playing on his lips. While barely elbowing Ino. Who slowly nods her head in agreement.

"Keep going Shikamaru" Akira ushers him to continue his head nodding once, as he starts to speak again.

"Alright, Raven, Starfire, and, Robin will also be going together" Shikamaru explains.

"Wait what, your sending them out alone?" Yukia questions sounding a little irritated. "No that's not... gon"

"He may have a reason for it" Robin interrupts the young girls apparent rant.. he new she wouldn't like being separated from them, but he doubted Shikamaru would do something without reason.

"Please friend continue with your strategy " Starfire speaks up. With Shikamaru closing his eyes a moment before turning to Yukia. Her eyes now glaring down at the table...

"Yukia, your healing was something I was hoping to count on" he informs her. Making her barely peer up at him. "I was wanting to see if you would remain hidden, and, if someone got hurt out of either group come heal them up, of course I'm not sure if it would work since we will be on opposite sides of the village"

Yukia bites on her lip. feeling bad about almost snapping at him earlier, he really was a good strategies. She should not have doubted him.

"If she would even remain hidden that is" Cyborg jokes chuckling when Yukia turns to deadpan at him..

"I can hide" she points out. Turning to glance back at the young Nara. "Don't worry I'll handle it, just know I can't heal every wound such as poison or burns, my healing isn't that advanced"

"As long as your willing to try" Shikamaru concludes with a shrug of his shoulders. "We should be alright, anyways what do you think Akira?"

The said woman nods her head.

"It's a good plan" she admits. As she performs a swift set of hand signs. "However I got a better way to help Yukia out, when someone gets injured"

With that said Akira bits her thumb, blood slowly coming to the service. She then slams, her hand down, on the floor of the boathouse. A small cloud of white smoke suddenly feeling in the room causing a few of the ninja and young hero's to cough. As the smoke clears. A medium sized, light green fox with white on the paws, chest and tail. Now, sits infront of Akira, it's yellowish brown, eyes gleaming as they stare back at the group. It's tail curled around it's small body. And it's long ears barely twitching back and forth. A leave head band tied around the animals neck.

"This is Oakley" Akira introduces as the fox stands up and bows respectfully.

"Nice to meet you all" the small animal greets with a swish of her fluffy tail. Before sitting back down.

The four titans looking at the fox with wide eyes. They had not witnessed what had just happened before. Not that any of them could remember, if they had seen it before or not. Heck they weren't even sure what actually had happened.

"How is it here?" Yukia wonders. Her eyes sparkling with the interest she was now feeling. "She's so cute"

"Thank you dear" Oakley soothes softy. "What might I help you with Akira? it's been so long since I was summoned to aid you"

"Sorry it's been so long" Akira apologies gently running a hand over Oakley's soft head. "But we don't have time to catch up, your going to be teaming up with Yukia. Helping her to keep us all healed up"

"Wait..." Cyborg says surprised by this information... "that fox can heal?"

"Only some wounds" Oakley answers him with a cheeky grin. Her tail wagging back and forth. As she looks towards the robotic teen.

"As of how she's here" Akira starts to explain. "In this world ninjas can have the power to summon creatures with summoning contracts. I've got one with Oakley, and a few others you may see later on"

"It takes alot of chakra to summon creatures like the fox here" Shikamaru adds in knowingly.

"Just like humans, they also can have chakra, which is why Oakley can heal" Akira explains.. "but as she said only some miner wounds. Poison is hard for her to heal as well.. so your friend she could not heal him, even if she tried"

Yukia droops her shoulders at that, even with another being knowing how to heal Beastboy still would have to wait.. hopefully he would hang on. Till there back up arrived.

Feeling a comforting hand on her shoulder Yukia looks up at Cyborg a smile on his face. Making her smile caringly back at him.

"I'll be staying here with bb" he announces. "I don't want to be in the way plus just to make sure he will be save while your all out"

"Alright that's the plan then" Akira decides. "Will head out once it gets dark, so I suggest you all get some rest"

...

"It's getting late" Robin proclaims his head tilting down to look at the small watch strapped around his wrist.

His masked eyes squinting he wasn'tsure how squinting would help him see the time, because it really didn't help at all.

"What if nothing else shows up? Yukia, said she was sure she destroyed the creature that was attacking the village" Raven questions in her monotone voice, her violet eyes peeking out over the forest in front of them. Making sure nothing came out to attack them...

"I don't know" Robin admits "we just have to be completely sure nothing else attacks the village again.. was all Akira said... if nothing does we can assume what ever it is attacking the village is gone for good..."

"I only hope our other friends will be ok... Especially friend Beastboy" Starfire speaks up worriedly. Her eyes casting back in the direction of the boathouse... she wished to head back soon to go check on him.

The medic team still hadn't showed up yet. And Beastboy was getting worse. His breathing had become dangerously shallow.. the last time Starfire had seen him, the green teens skin was a more sickly green.

A small splash of worry comes over Robin's face, he too was worried about his other friends, if any of them got hurt it would be his fault, he volunteered them to come out here. Just to help the leaf village out...

Four of the six titans had come out to watch a part of the village Starfire, Robin, and Raven, had cone out together. With Yukia staying hidden she was merely supposed to heal anyone that got hurt.. but knowing her she wouldn't stay hidden long if that came to be.

Beastboy, of course, along with Cyborg. Stayed back at the boathouse, Cyborg deciding to keep watch over the green teen, plus without his sonic cannon, he did not want to be in the way. Gently placing a comforting hand on his best friends shoulder. Robin gives her a warm smile as she looks back at him. Her eyes glistening with the worry she was feeling..

"It's ok Star, both Cyborg, and Beastboy will be ok. And, Yukia is not fighting She's only supposed to heal for now" Robin insures her softly.

Starfire gives the titan leader a small smile of her own. His words seeming to calm her nerves down for the time being that is.

"If she will stick to that plan is yet to be seen" Raven mumbles in a low monatoned voice.

Knowing well enough, Yukia would not stand back for long if one of them where to get hurt she'd be right here. It was shocking the girl even agreed to do such thing. in the first place. And, without much of an argument...

"We can only hope she follows orders this time" Robin mutters though he was very doubtful on that. "At any case we're gonna be just fine"

"I hope your right" Raven mutters lowly, trying desperately to keep her concern to herself, she didn't want her friends to know she really did worry for them. More then she could express aloud. But she was sure they knew she cared for them, she didn't have to show it.

Suddenly a huge red beam cuts through the forest, gaining the attention of all three titans. Each one of there eyes widening, A huge flame of fire rushes straight towards them roaring loudly, as it tracks towards them almost like a runaway train. The ground beneath it instantly being scorched on contact. The hot flames easily taking a couple tall trees.

"Titans move" Robin shouts frantically.

With that said, Raven quickly flies up into the air the smoke from the hot flame below seeming to come up and hit her right in the face burning slightly at her tan skin, a small hiss emitting from her lips. As she grits her teeth.

Starfire swiftly grabs hold of Robin's wrist, before also flying upwards. Now floating a few meters away from Raven.

"That was close" Robin sighs in relief. If they hadn't moved when they did. him and the other two titans would probably be nothing but dust.

The flames come to a sudden stop, almost like they had lost their momentum. Before they completely go out. Leaving behind the very scorched earth below.

Robin, narrows his eyes slightly, down at the now burnt forest. The forest infront of them was as silent as it had been before the fire so where had the fire come from? He doubted it was just a random flame. However as he keep watching the silent forest. His eyes suddenly flew wide open. On the ground below them, several huge creatures step out, onto the burning ground below. Seeming to not be bothered by the ground burning at there feet.

There Crimsons eyes trailing up at the young hero's there sharp razor-like teeth bared, As there whipped like tails slice intimidatingly at the wind. With out so much of a warning One of the creatures opens it's mouth. A small red beam forming in the back of it's throat. The beam growing quickly as more power seems to be focused into it.

"Move!!!" Raven shouts. Just as if it was on cue, to her voice, a huge fire ball shoots up towards them.

Sighing deeply Yukia sits back on the long branch, she had decided to settle down in. She'd been sitting for so long, she was starting to get bored, Yukia hated just sitting around doing mostly nothing, in all honesty she'd rather be with her friends. Helping them fight. Off what ever danger could come at them.

Why did she even agree to be to her self? She didn't even have Oakley, to keep her company since they thought it best to split them both up before the mission had begun, that way. Oaks, the nickname Yukia had made up for the small creature, was closer to the leaf ninja. Meaning she could get to them quicker.

With Yukia of course, being closer to the three young hero's. She felt comfortable knowing her friends where not that far away. She could pick up there scent from her spot perfectly. The leaf ninja being a little out of her scent range she was unable to smell them. But Yukia was sure they where fine.

Letting out another boring sigh, Yukia hangs her legs over either side of the tree. Swinging them both back and forth, she dies this for a few minutes. Until she gets bored. And decides to lay back quickly. Thunp...

"Ouch..!!!!." she cries when she hits the back of her head hard on the tree trunk, she hadn't realized how close she was to the trunk. Pouting to herself as she now rubs the huge lump on the back of her head.

'Stupid tree' she cries internally. While glaring back at the non moving object, releasing a low sigh, while her shoulders droop. 'I would not be helping anyone if this dumb tree knocked me out first'

Yukia jumps down from the tree landing on the ground below, one of her hands out infront of her for extra balance. Going up to her full height, her blue eyes widening. Just as a huge flare of fire catches her attention from somewhere off in the distance. The huge flame lighting up the night sky, in a yellowish red color. Before, quickly vanishing. Panic quickly swarming into her stomach. realizing her friends where over in that direction. Biting on her lip nervously yukia new she had to stay put. But the pull to go help her friends was hard to ignore. However before she could even think to go check on her friends. Something big and heavy crashes right into her chest. A loud yelp of surprise emits from her lips. As she flies backwards her back slamming hard into the tree she had been sitting in. Slumping to the ground in a heap.

"Ugh..." she moans softly. Feeling something warm running slowly down her lip. with her eyes casting up to see what had crashed into her. Several glowing eyes, glared ominously back at her.

Carefully getting back to her feet. Blue fur starting to bleed over her small body, yukia having shifted to her wolf form, her eyes now able to fully make out the many creatures surrounding her.

Yukia Let's out a threatening growl. slinging to the ground as she moves towards them. Her nerves seeming to swell up in her stomach. She was very much outnumbered. This fight could be very bad if she wasn't careful. Casting an eye in the direction her friends where in. Her ear flattening slightly. As a sorrowful whimper escapes from her lips.

'I'm Sorry Raven Robin starfire... I'll come check on you has soon as I can' she internally declares. 'If I get through this that is'

One of the huge creatures let's out a loud screech, making Yukia jump up slightly, her eyes now focused on it. As it rears up on it's back legs. Its tail hitting at the sky like a loud whip. Suddenly the creature lungs towards her it's massive jaws agape ready to sink into her flesh. As it moves closer and closer.

Yukia, swiftly jumps to the side dodging the creature with ease. As it crashes into the tree behind her. Not giving time to think another one of the creatures lungs towards her. Aiming it's attack at her throat. Yukia rolls her eyes. This was gonna be fun. Fight to stay alive or be eaten by massive creatures.

Robin's pov

Whinching slightly I pull a small unpleasant face, my head tilting down to peek at my swallowed right calf my eyes squinting behind my mask to try and get a better look due to it being dark it was kinda hard to see the injury completely well. Though the red lines of a red substances was very easy to spot, blood rained down my thigh like warm water soaking the hims of my steal shoes. A grim look comes to my face as I look up at a huge dark creature looming in front of me. It's huge mouth gaped opened to reveal several sharp razor like teeth, putting some weight on my injured leg a hurtfilled expression coming over my face as I do so, I push off the tree I was lending against. Doing a small somersault in the air just as the creature leaps towards me, its heavy body crashing into the tree I had been lending against. A huge hole now in the middle of the tree. Landing on the ground behind the creature, I double over in pain grasping hold of my leg with both my hands, small grunts emitting from my lips.

To cut a long story short one of the creatures had managed to pin me to the ground there sharp nails had dug deep into my thigh, causing my blood to quickly spill out, a loud snap had sounded. The sound having come from my leg possible being broken. The creaturewasmerciless, luckily Raven had been close by and, had managed to get the creature off me, before it could do anymore damage, but I was sure my leg was broken, it hurt no matter what I did. I stand back up putting weight more in my uninjured leg trying to keep unnecessary weight off my injured one. Starfire floats down infront of me her emerald eyes glistening with high concern.

"We need to go now" Raven hissed. Just as she fires a couple dark energy spears towards a few of the creatures. Each of them letting out loud shrieks of pain, as the dark spears slice into there thick flesh, blood instantly spilling out from the wounds.

Starfire carefully grabs hold of my left arm, and places it around her neck. Allowing me to lean against her for extra support. The gesture causing the heart in my chest to suddenly speed up. I was grateful for her help I really was. I just wished my heart didn't feel like it was gonna burst outta my ribcage at any moment.

"We have to get him some place safe" Raven states seriously. As she lands beside us her violet eyes gazing down at my injured leg I couldn't tell if she was worried or not she hid her emotions well. As always.

"I'm fine" I protest sharply trying to hide the hurt from my voice though I was certain both Raven and Starfire didn't believe me. They knew me well enough to know when I was lying.

"Your not fine" Raven hissed her eyes seeming to suddenly blaze with anger causing me to pause and look back at her taken back by her sudden rise in anger. Starfire even seemed to shiver beside me at our teammates sudden mood change.

Raven might have been having a hard time controlling her emotions right now, she was usually good at controlling them. So it really was a guess on my part..

"Your leg is broken for, on top of that you could die of blood lose, we need to get you treated" Raven snaps at me her head turning back around just as another dark creature leaps for her it's mouth opened wide aiming for her throat.

Dark spears quickly shoots towards, the creature. Slicing into its fur like sharp knifes, causing the creature to let out a loud hiss of pain, as Raven's powerful spears seem to dig deeper into its flesh, blood instantly splashing onto the ground at her feet.

Feeling Starfire tightening her grip around my waist before she flies up into the air, just as another dark creature leaps towards her, starfire. The Animal now standing in the same spot we had previously been standing in. It's head tilting back to look up at us. A bright blue light swarms around it's opened mouth. The light taking on a much more electrical look as it starts to grow bigger and bigger. Just as the attack is fired straight towards both of us. Starfire quickly flying higher into the sky to try and escape the attack. once out of reach. I feel her relax a little.

"Friend Robin" Starfire address worriedly her eyes looking over at me as she spoke an innocent look coming over her face "I believe we should get you out of here as well.. I to am worried"

A small sigh, leaves my lips as, I slightly droop my shoulders. If I wasn't injured everything would be ok now.

"It's ok Star" I ensure her gently my voice sounding softer then I intended it to be, but I couldn't seem to get mad at her. An unsure look comes over her face, as she turns her head away and gazes back to the ground her eyes hooded as they looked over the remaining creatures below. There weren't many now, maybe five to six give or take. It was dark and these creatures hid well in the dark. So really it was hard to fully tell how many there was. Especially with how dizzy headed I was beginning to feel.

Raven's Dark energy suddenly closes in on the dark creatures holding them easily in place. Loud roars of anger emitting from there lips as they struggle to get free, though the dark energy doesn't seem to let up. Despite how much they where struggling.

Raven glares over the creatures an iciy look plastered on her face as the dark energy around them starts to close in, cutting into the creatures thick skin, loud cries of agonising pain comes from there lips.

Raven grins darkly as all five creatures fall to the ground at her feet. Each of them now dead, there blood splattering all over there bodies. The Ravenette turns her head towards me and Starfire her expressions quickly going blank as she looks over us.

"Let's go!" She orders darkly as she floats up into the sky heading towards the village

Starfire following at a somewhat slower paced, behind her. Still keeping a tight hold on me.

Starfire or I, have never seen her so mad before, and, honestly it was scary,. But luckily she wasn't mad at us. I gulp down a small lump in my throat shaking away the fear I felt towards her, replacing it with a much more serious look.

Landing beside a tall building

Raven turns her head back towards us, just as Starfire lands a few inches away her head tilting down to my leg. Concern flashing in her green eyes. I guess it must have been bad. Raven walks over to us motioning Starfire to sit me down on top of a black circle which the girl is quick to do so. I winch slightly as Raven puts her hands over my leg a white aura already surround her palms.

As Raven does her best to heal my injured leg I can't help thinking of my other teammates. Was Beastboy doing ok? Was he having to fight thoses creatures to? What about Cyborg and Yukia? they stayed back at the house but still there was some slight concern in my gut for them I breath out heavily. Trying to rid my mind of the troubled thoughts hopefully they were all ok.

Raven finishes up on healing my leg straightened herself up she breaths out lowly. As her eyes cast back down to me, her face blank of any emotions that I could tell anyways.

"I was only able to stop the bleeding" she says lowly her eyes narrowing slightly under her hood as she spoke "I couldn't heal the small fracture, will need to get you to the hospital soon"

"Will he be the ok thought? Starfire asked worriedly her hands fidgeting with a few strains of her hair as she looks back at me concern and worry clearly written on her face.

"I'm fine" I answer seriously. "Thank you Raven"

Raven suddenly widens her eyes a look of what could be concern quickly comes over her face. Though she is quick to cover it up.

"We need to go find yukia" she states randomly. "I can't scent her now"

"What!?" I shout my eyes going wide behind my mask. As Starfires freezes. Did Yukia get attacked to? Hopefully not. She was alone. And...

"We should go" Starfire replies before going in the direction of our young teammate or at least where we told her to hide at.

Raven quickly following behind us. Remaining quite...

Third person

"Ino hurry I can't hold them back anymore" Shikamaru yells frantically, sweetbeads rolling down the side of his head. Having trapped several weird looking creatures with his shadow passion jutsu. It was starting to become a real pain trying to holding them all back. Especially with all of them beginning to struggle.

Ino not answering her teammate merely nods her head in understanding, as she quickly ties several strings around a handful of her kunai knifes. Each of the knifes having paper bombs wrapped tightly around there hilts.

"Take this" she cries standing up to her full height. Throwing the sharp knifes with all ger might, right at the ugly creatures. Each of the kunai's sinking deep into the creatures flesh. With loud shrieks of pain coming from the creatures lips.

Shikamaru, retracts his shadow. quickly moving behind a couple huge boulders, with Ino going for shelter behind a tall tree. One by one each of the paper bombs around the sharp blades start to explode.

With the creatures, immediately being blown to bits. Leaving nothing but burning ash behind, in the spots the creatures had once stood. The stinch of burning flesh feeling in the air.

Akira not far from the young ninjas suddenly flashes behind one of the ominous creatures her eyes flashing dangerously as she slices a katana throw the creatures back, a loud Shriek of pain coming from the things mouth as it turns to face her. A bright blue beam forming around its open mouth. However just as the beam is shot towards her. The woman vanishes, easily able to avoid the powerful water attack. The torrent of water crashing into a near by boulder causing it to instantly break in half. These creatures had powerful chakra Akira had to give them that.

The jonin appearing up in a nearby tree. Her eyes drifting over to Choji. As he barrels straight through several of the creatures using his expansion jutsu. Smirking to herself these genie where doing well for being so young. But even so they needed to hurry she could tell each of them where getting tired. They had been fighting against these dark creatures, from the moment they had arrived here. And, they where now just starting to get an upper hand.

Oakley appears beside the older woman her kind eyes looking over the young ninja. As her tail tucks between her legs showing she was a bit nervous. Seems right Oakley was petty young and, wasn't really a big fighter. The young fox mostly focused on healing. And rarely was part of any battles especially long ones like this one had been. Not that she was fully unable to defend herself. But Oakley was nore comfortable at healing.

"Akira dear" the young fox addresses softly. "Are you alright? I keep hearing explosions from over here, so I came to see if you needed healed, or perhaps the young ones might?"

Akira nods her head as she looked towards Shikamaru, even from where she was she could make out the long cut across the young Nara's cheek possibly from one of the dark creatures claws. Those things did have very sharp claws.

"Go check on them" Akira answers focusing back on the creature she'd been fighting. "Fill free to use as much of my chakra as you need, but make sure there all healed up, I don't want any casualties"

Oakley blinks her eyes at her orders, her mouth opening to argue with her partner. However the young creature understanding it wasn't the time to argue, jumps down from the tree and, strides over to the young Nara. Proceeding to heal him up as best she could.

Akira leaps down from the tree instantly appearing before the dark creature she'd been fighting earlier, taking it down with ease, by cutting into its throat with her Kanata. Blood splashing onto the front of her clothing and, covering the sharp blade. As she rips it out of the creatures flesh. The being dead at her feet. Just as another creature leaps towards.

Akira quickly vanishes her quick speed letting her easily avoid the animal. As it now crouchs low to the ground it's huge teeth bared. A snarl rolling from deep in it's throat. As it's eyes seem to now try to follow her movements. But with the jonins speed that seemed to be impossible for the animal.

Oakley approaches the young Nara a caring look in her eyes as she easily spots a few miner cutes on his fore arm. A nasty gash dripping with fresh blood cut across his check.

"Here dear let me heal you" she says in a soft voice. "I'll give you a little chakra to you look awfully drained"

Shikamaru barely shakes his head as the little fox puts a paw to his arm. A light green aura immediately surroundimg her foot. A concentrated look on the small creatures face. Shikamaru slowly starts feeling the injury begin to heal up, the pain from it fading away as well. With his chakra being refreshed. A sigh emits from his lips

"Thank you" he tells Oakley as she pulls her paw away her tail swaying back and forth as she nods her head.

"Your very welcome dear" the animal soothes as she turns to find his other two teammates.

Choji quickly takes out a few of the dark creature around him with his expansion jutsu. The young ninja after doing his jutsu returns to his normal self inhailimg deep breaths he was clearly getting worn out.

Ino, a few meters from the Akimichi. Clutches at her arm blood barely seeping through her finger tips, the blonde kneels down on one knee, sweetbeads rolling down her forehead. Oakley immediately strides towards her. Wanting to help the young girl out if possible.

Widening her eyes the fix takes off running her body colliding with one of the dark creatures, causing it to barely stumble backwards. before it could attack Ino. Oakley sinking her small teeth into the creatures shoulder causing the dark being to let out a loud screech. Oakley quickly lets go and jumps away as the creature goes to grab at her. Oakley new she couldn't afford getting injured especially if she had to heal up Ino and Choji.

Shikamaru turns his attention back to several more creatures that now surrounded him. There mouths agaped, Salva rolling down there chins. Another deep Sigh escaping from his lips. Hopefully this wouldn't last much longer. He was getting tired even, with Oakley, giving him some of her chakra, the young ninja, still felt a bit drained. He'd nap for sure after this battle.

Leaping to the side the young Nara manages to avoid one of the dark creatures around him as it lungs forcefully towards his throat, its jaws wide open. Most of the creatures had been aiming for his throat rather out of instinct or just wanting to end him quickly. Shikamaru wasn't to sure. However it did make them very predictable. And, even more easier to dodge if need be.

Which was what he was having to do mostly. Well unless they shot off some sort of specific attack. Like water style jutsu. A few of the creatures had them.
