Moana and her allies neared Beast Island and got their first good look of the place. There were large cliffs on the island with one rock formation on the cliff side that resembled a large human skull and a few that resembled snarling beasts. The crew navigated their boats past the cliff side and to a beach close by.

"So what exactly do we know about Beast Island?" Asked Moana.

"It's a relatively small island that is dangerous, but it doesn't quite have the dangerous reputation as Lalotai or Tortuga." Said Wolf.

"What about the Punch Monkeys?" Asked Ruby.

"They're a fierce tribe of monsters that love to fight, though I hear in some cases they serve larger monsters as their minions in order to survive." Said Snake.

"So we might have to deal with a worst monster then the Punch Monkeys." Said Maui.

"Yep." Said Snake.

"And it's not just Punch Monkeys you have to deal with, there are many different variations that can be found among a Punch Monkey pack." Said Piranha.

"Like what?" Asked Chelsea.

"Kick monkeys, headbutt monkeys, low-blow monkeys, bite monkeys, ab-tight monkeys! Shoulders that punch! Tails that crunch! Deranged stranglers! Strange danglers! Fanged manglers! Mouth-breathers! Brain squeezers! And a dude with… weird eyes. You need to be especially careful around those guys, cause you have no idea what they're thinking." Said Piranha.

"Well this...is going to be interesting." Said Moana trying not to sound nervous.

"Relax we got this. We made it through Tortuga, Lalotai, and beat Monstro and won." Said Chelsea.

"True, but you and Ruby were the ones that beat Monstro." Said Moana.

"But you were the one who got him to sneeze us out, so you helped contribute to his defeat." Said Ruby.

"I guess that's true." Said Moana feeling a bit better.

The boats reached the beach and the crews got out and pulled them onto land. They looked ahead and saw a jungle up ahead.

"Alright let's find us some Punch Monkeys." Said Maui as he lead the way into the jungle followed by the others.

Some time later Gutt and Dave's boats arrived at the island and they beached their boats. Gutt took in the island and sniffed the air.

"Ah Beast Island. I hadn't set foot on my old home in a long time." Said Gutt.

"You were born here?" Asked Dave.

"I was, then I fell in love with the sea and set out to become one of the fiercest pirates to ever sail it. This is must be a sign of good fortune for us. I feel like we will finally catch up to our quarry, get our revenge and the heart of Te Fiti." Said Gutt.

"You seem pretty confident." Said Dave.

"It's because I know this place and most of the locals better then our quarry does and I know how to use that to our advantage." Said Gutt as his mind already began to form a plan.

The pirates and Minions set out into the jungle looking for Maui's group.

The jungle vegetation began to shake and dozens of short two foot tall monkeys emerged from the jungle and surrounded the group.

Moana and her friends had been walking through the jungle for roughly an hour when they came to a large clearing and Maui stopped them.

"We're not alone." Said Maui.

"Yeah we can smell them." Said Wolf and Snake, Shark, and Piranha nodded their heads in agreement.

"The Punch Monkeys!" Said Moana looking at the creatures that surrounded them.

The Punch Monkeys very stocky bodies with little to no neck. They had very muscular shoulders with thick upper forearms which were dwarfed in size by their very large lower forearms and hands which possessed four hairless fingers and an opposable thumb. Their fists were extremely thick and their body tapers off near the rear with short skinny legs tipped with hand-like feet. The Punch Monkeys' had blocky heads while having a domed rounded head. They had hairless areas around the mouth, eyes and ears. The Punch Monkeys had very intelligent eyes with white sclera, amber iris and black pupils. They had a blueish-black fur color on most of the body with black markings on the forehead. The skin around their eyes was bright pink with light blue lips. Around their facial skin, the belly, and half of the tail was creamy white fur with orange patches on the shoulders, chest and a band across the middle of the tail.

The Punch Monkeys barred their teeth at Moana and her allies.

"Don't worry I got this." Said Maui as he approached one of the Punch Monkeys.

The others watched wondering what was going to happen. Maui began to speak

"Hello there. I am Maui and-"

The Punch Monkey punched Maui in the face

"Ow! Hey!" Yelled Maui.

The Punch Monkey punched Maui again!

"Ow! Why you little!" Said Maui before he punched the Punch Monkey knocking him down.

The Punch Monkeys began to laugh or scream angrily at one of their own being punched down by some strangers. Some the Punch Monkeys began to close in on Moana's group and the Bad Guys.

"Now hold on! There's no need for violence!" Said Wolf trying to put a stop to things, before one Punch Monkey punched him and Snake making them shout in pain.

Shark and Piranha quickly came to Wolf's aid and punched the Punch Monkey that struck him along with a few other close by Punch Monkeys. A few other Punch Monkeys began to close in on Moana and Chelsea, but Ruby quickly got in the way and armored up her skin for defense. A couple of Punch Monkeys struck Ruby and immediately screamed in pain and surprise as they struck her armored skin and leaped back shacking their wounded hands in the air. More Punch Monkeys closed in and it looked like a big brawl was about to kick off, until Webs suddenly opened her mouth and let out a series of shrieks and chirps that sounded like the ones the Punch Monkeys made and the Punch Monkeys stopped to look at Webs.

"What was that?" Asked Wolf.

"The Punch Monkey language!" Said Piranha in shock.

"You can speak their language?" Asked Wolf in amazement.

"I can. I've picked up a few talents in my travels before I joined the Bad Guys and I did a good bit of spying on a tribe of Punch Monkeys at one point and learned their language." Said Webs.

"Why didn't you speak their language sooner?" Complained Snake.

"Because I was curious about how Maui would handle the situation and that wasn't a good idea." Said Webs.

"I accept the blame and responsibility for that." Said Maui.

"So can you ask them about the key?" Asked Moana.

"Sure." Said Webs before turning to the Punch Monkeys.

Webs let out some more shrieks and chirps and one Punch Monkey responded back.

"They said they had the key years ago, but a monster called a Spiny Mandrilla took over their tribe and took the key. The Punch Monkeys have been forced to serve him ever since and they're looking for anyone who can stand up and defeat him to free their tribe." Said Webs.

"Well that's good. Tell them will beat the Spiny Mandrilla and save their tribe." Said Ruby.

Webs gave the Punch Monkeys the message and that seemed to greatly excite them. The Punch Monkeys lead Moana and her allies into the jungle as they wondered what dangers they would face with the Spiny Mandrilla.

To be continued.
