It was cold in Forks, when Avrail opened her door to get the newspaper, she felt a breeze. She went back inside and Mike was still in bed, she went upstairs to lounge with him for a bit. He was still sleeping, he had his face in the pillow and she could see his hair and part of his cheek. He rolled over and pulled her close to him. She started to play with his hair, and he began to wake up. He started to pull her further under him, and showed her a example of their first time together, butterfly's included.

They were going into town today, forks was having a meet last years graduate's day. The new school year would be starting soon, and mostly the new high school kids were invited. On the drive to the school, Mike told her that Eric was going to be their before them, he had went in early to help setup. When they arrived, the parking lot was full, so sh knew a lot of people showed up. She started walking over to her friend Sarah, who was hanging by the school doors. She greeted her then Sarah told her that Bella and Edward were there, and someone made a joke that it was a good thing Bella wan't in the parking lot when Eric pulled in. Eric had almost hit Bella when it was icy a few years ago and everyone was relieved that he didn't. Avrail laughed and asked how many cheers the joke got. Sarah replied that there was a row of cheers. Mike came over and he took her hand to lead her into the back of the school where the signing desk was.

She was walking around talking looking at the boards of information, when she heard Bella say that the hill was were she first heard Edward loved her. That sounded sweet, Avrail smiled to show she overheard them. She saw Mike at the school entrance, she went over to see what her was looking at. He pointed out the doors, and how they had a frozen mark on them. Sometimes the doors stuck and when they pushed it open the side was budged. She told him, she never knew the doors budged, and it was shocking how much she could learn after leaving the school.

They were on the way home, and a small animal ran out in front of them. Mike turned to miss it, and it ran off into the Forrest. When they got there, Avrail got dinner ready. The were having cheeseburgers, and as Avrail set the table, She heard on the radio, that had been some animals that were spotted in the woods.

After dinner they went out back and had the fire pit burning. They heard the howling from the wolves that night. Avrail told him a story, that her grandpa told her, the wolves had strong instincts to track and that they would be able to travel long distance to make paths. She heard of a pack of wolves that were seen from Oregon to Washington yearly. She snuggled into Mike after her story, and the warmth from his sweater, kept her from the cold Washington air.
