They woke up a few hours ago and Avrail and Mike were sitting on the couch watching the news. Seattle had no news on the two that were reported dead. They were going to the reservation today, Mike wanted to ask Jacob about the wolf sightings. The wolf had seemed extra large, so maybe someone from the reservation was feeding it. It had also looked well groomed.
Avrail followed Mike out of the house to get into their car. On the drive over, she saw that the water was rushing ashore. It would have been a good day for surfing. When the arrived at Jacob's house he was on the front porch. Mike walked over and asked if he had a minute, Jacob responded that he did. Then Mike told him that a group of us saw a few people on the beach and that wolves had went after them. Jacob said nothing at first, then he asked if he knew a story about Indians being wolves descendants. Mike replied that he didn't, then Jacob told Mike that the wolves were close to the tribe, but he didn't know of any attacks. Avrail who was behind Mike, asked if he saw the wolves that day? Jacob replied that he could have from a distance, and he saw them in the woods before. Mike thanked Jacob for his time, then they left.
In the car Mike asked Avrail if that reassured her that the wolves were safe to be around? Avrail told him it did, she didn't think the wolves would reappear, they hadn't been seen before.
At the town meeting, they talked about Terrence and the things he reported. Although no one believed him, they thought he was useful in finding crimes before they happened. The meeting was about mostly safety precautions and unusual behavior.
Mike and Avrail were driving home, when the saw Paul and Sam in the woods. They were arguing and Paul stepped away, and then he turned into a wolf. Sam was close behind with his own wolf transformation. Mike stopped the car, then he got out, Avrail watched as he entered the woods. Avrail got out to follow him. She heard him tell the wolf that he knew it was Paul, then wolf changed back, and Paul was in front of them. Avrail was shocked. Paul told Mike about a history of wolves in their bloodline. Then he told him that they watch the land for vampires. Mike took the news well, he told Paul he had heard the story's of the reservation before and his parents generation had wanted their kids cautious of the reservation. Paul turned to Avrail and asked if she was alright with the news. Avrail said she was good, and then they heard some howling, that meant Paul and Sam had to get home.
On the car ride home Avrail asked Mike if he was sure they were safe in town, or maybe he thought it best to go on a vacation. Mike replied that they were safe, and they both knew Paul and Sam for awhile, they were good guys.
