Joey walked out of the Aquarium, shaking water out of his hair when he heard a familiar voice.

"Enjoy your bath, Wheeler?" Rex Raptor asked.

"Almost as much As I enjoyed da Duel." Joey said, taking Rex's power away by agreeing with him. He realized how much trouble his mouth had gotten him into and was going to try and change.

"So! You Beat Mako! You might actually be a threat!"

"I'm not da same Duelist ya dueled at Duelist Kingdom." Joey Said. "I'm still pretty brash, but I've learned a few lessons since then."

"Really? Like how to lose graciously?"

"Are ya challengin' me ta a Duel Rex? If not den let me go find another Duelist."

Rex looked taken aback. Wheeler had just talked down to him. He couldn't let that slide. "I challenge you to a Duel Wheeler!"

Joey smiled at Rex. He'd fallen for the bait.

"Let's Duel!" Both Duelists shouted.

Joey Wheeler: 4000

"I'll go first." Joey said. "I draw. Den I'll Summon da Guardian o' da T'rone Room in Attack Position." A robot with tank treads for a base and a rocket pod on its back appeared on the field. "Next, I'll set a spell 'r trap ca'd in da Spell an' Trap zone. I end." A holographic card appeared in the spell and trap zone.

"Huh. Not bad Wheeler, but you can't beat the power of my Dinos! I activate the Field Spell Lost World!" The Holographic generators came to life and the field became a lush prehistoric world. "As long as This Card is on the Field all non-Dino cards lose 500 ATK and DEF!"

"What!" Joey yelled as his Guardian of the Throne Room lost 500 ATK and DEF.

"It's about to get a lot worse!" Rex shouted. "I summon Skelesaurus in Attack Mode!" A Dinosaurs Skeleton appeared on the field.

"I end my turn, and you're lucky too. If I could Attack them your Monster would be mine!"

"I draw." Joey looked at his hand. "I'll sacrifice my Guardian o' da T'rone Room and set a Monsta in Face down Defense Position. I end."

Rex Grit his teeth. This wasn't going like he thought it would go at all. He drew his next card and set a Card in the spell and trap zone and a monster in Face Down Defense Position. 'Yes! All I need to do know is flip up my Chewbone and I'll be able to summon both my Tyranno's! Then Wheeler will be finished, and I'll have taken back my honor!' "I set a Monster in Face Down Defense Position and set a Spell or trap card in my spell and trap zone!"

"Are ya goin' ta attack?" Joey asked. "Show me what yer Dinos are made of? Or are ya goin' ta leave me alone cause Yer Monster is a Zombie an' Not a Dino Nugget?"

Rex grit his teeth. "What did you say about my Dinos!" He demanded.

"I called 'em Dino Nuggets." Joey smiled a Dark smile. Are ya gonna make me pay fer dat?"

"Skelesaurus! Attack!" Rex roared. "Prehistoric Slash!"

Skelesaurus attacked Joey's facedown only to reveal Meteor Dragon.

"NO! Skelesaurus! Stop!"

Too late, Skelesaurus charged on and Attacked Meteor Dragon only for Meteor Dragon to bat Skelesaurus away with its tail, destroying it and sending a bone at Rex, hitting Rex in the head, dealing 300 points of damage to Rex.

"You... you tricked me, Wheeler!"

"Yeah. Dat's w'at ya get fer underestimating me, Rex. I told ya. I ain't da same Duelist I was in Duelist Kingdom."

"How!"

"I learned dat I ain't as hot as I t'ought I was. I needed ta be betta. I got betta. Now. Do ya end?"

"Yes." Rex said.

"I draw." Joey said. "I play Pot o' Greed, Darwin' two mor ca'd's, an' den I'll set two ca'd's in da spell an' Trap Zone before Stettin' a ca'rd in face down defense position. I end."

"I draw." Rex said before smiling. "Now. Let me show you the power of my Dinos! I flip my face down monster into face up attack position, but it's not staying for long." A skeleton rat appeared on the field, followed by three more. "I'm going to sacrifice two of them to tribute summon my Super Conductor Tyranno!" A dinosaur made of both metal and flesh ran out of the canopy and roared, a sound that sounded both primal and mechanical at the same time. "What do you think Wheeler?" Rex asked. "Are you terrified yet?"

Joey looked at the Super Conductor Tyranno and gulped. How was he going to beat that?

"I'm going to use Super Conductor Tyranno's Effect to deal 1000 points of damage to you, rather than risk a flip effect. I'm going to send one of my Chewbones to the Graveyard to use Jurassic Cannon!"

Super Conductor Tyranno opened his maw and blasted Joey with 1000 damage.

Joey Wheeler: 3000

Rex Raptor: 3700

Joey looked at Rex and gulped. How was he going to beat Super Conductor Tyranno?

"I end Wheeler!" Rex shouted.

"I draw." Joey said. "I'm gonna set a card, den I'm gonna activate Premature Burial to bring my Guardian o' da T'rone Room in Attack Position."

Joey Wheeler: 2200

Rex Raptor: 3700

"What, Are you dense Wheeler? Why would you play it in Attack Position?"

"Because o' dis." Joey Said. "I Tribute all three of my Monsta's..."

"What! How do you have a level 10 monster!?"

"I don't." Joey said. "I Tribute summon for Gilford da Lightning." A monster wearing armor with absolutely massive arms appeared on the field. He wore a cloak and pulled a sword off his back.

"And dat's not all." Joey said. "Since I used t'ree Monsta's ta Tribute summon him, his special effect activates."

"Special Effect?" Rex asked.

"Yeah. Gilford da Lightning! Use Lightning Blast!"

Lightning struck Gilford the Lightning who aimed his sword at Rex's side of the field before blasting his creatures destroying them.

"MY DINOS!" Rex shouted.

"I'm not done either." Joey said. "Ima Activate Legendary Sword and Metalmorph!"

"Twin Twisters!" Rex Shouted. "I'll discard my Wasteland field spell to destroy those cards."

"Oh well." Joey said. "Gilford! Attack Rex Raptor directly!"

Rex Raptor: 1400

Joey Wheeler: 2200

"I end." Joey said.

"I draw!" Rex shouted. 'I can't let Wheeler get the best of me again! I need to beat him and get back my rep as intercontinental champ!' "I play Megalosmasher! And since I played a Dino, you get a JurraEgg token, and so long as that's on the field, you can't target any of my Dinos!"

"Do ya end?" Joey asked.

"Yeah. I end." Rex sighed in relief.

"I draw." Joey said. "Next ima sacrifice Yer JurraEgg Token to Tribute Summon da Rude Kaisa..."

"I forfeit." Rex said. "I know when I'm beat."

"A'riiiiight!" Joey cheered.

"Here's my Locator card and my Super Conductor Tyranno."

"Wait a second Rex." Joey Said. "I don't wanna take Yer Ace Ca'd. You've won oder Duels, right?"

"Yeah."

"Well, what if I look at dose ca'd's and only take Yer Super Conductor Tyranno if I don't find a Ca'd I like in those Ca'd's or in Yer deck?"

"You really mean it?" Rex asked.

"Yeah. I just wish I'd thought about it before now. I woulda offered Mako that trade too."

Rex handed him four cards that he looked through. Joey saw a card that looked like it wouldn't be too bad as a backup. "I'll take dis one." He showed Rex.

"Really?" Rex asked.

"Yeah. Maybe it'll save my bacon."

Rex groaned at the terrible pun, but let it go. "Thanks Wheeler. You're Not a bad Duelist."

"Neider Are you, Rex." Joey Said. "See ya around."

Seto Kaiba was seething. He'd not played his Blue-Eyes deck so Mokuba could get Dueling Experience, but things had gotten out of control and had he not drawn his De-Spell card when he did, they wouldn't have been able to summon Obelisk and won.

He was furious and ready to fire someone as soon as they gave him bad news.

His phone rang and he flipped out his phone, flipping it open, nearly breaking the hinge and shouting into the microphone: "WHAT!" He snapped.

"Mr. Kaiba Sir." The man on the other end said. "You told us to keep you appraised of Yugi Muto and his friends, especially Joey Wheeler."

"If you tell me that Wheeler is out of the Tournament, I'm giving you a raise." Seto said, a smile stretching his face.

"Actually sir, Joey Wheeler is still in the tournament and has a total of four Locator cards."

"HE WHAT!" Kaiba roared.

"He also Beat Rex Raptor."

Kaiba froze. "Did you say that he beat Rex Raptor?" He asked in a dangerous tone. "The Intercontinental champion?"

"Yes sir."

Kaiba snapped his phone shut hard enough to shatter the screen. He took out the SIM card, bought a new phone, and put the SIM card into the phone before putting it into his coat, looking for his next Duel so he could Annihilate someone.

Joey was walking around, looking for another Duelist. He had four locator cards and needed two more to qualify for the semifinals.

He was walking around when he saw Mina and Tina Dueling a couple, whether they were siblings or an actual couple he didn't know.

Looking around he found Ryder watching the Duel.

"'Ey Ryda." He Said. "How's it goin'?"

"It's Goin' great. I already have all of my Locator cards plus some."

"Lucky. How many locata ca'd's ya got?"

A locator card landed ok too if Ryder's head, sitting in his hair as if it were made to do so. "Twenty-five." Ryder said.

"Damn. I need to find two more Duelists to Duel."

"Want some of mine? I have more than enough to give out."

"I might take ya up on dat if'n I can't find anyone else ta Duel."

"Okay." Ryder said as He snuck two locator cards into Joey's pocket, not getting caught. Two more blew past his feet. "How many of these Did Kaiba make?" He asked.

"Who knows?" Joey asked. "Anyway. I'll see ya. Best o' luck ta Tina and Mina."

"Yup." Ryder nodded, as another locator card landed on his shoulder.

Joey walked around and watched Yugi Dueling, someone in a red hoodie, but left so he could concentrate.

He was walking when he was stopped by a big guy wearing a purple robe with tattoos across half his face. "Mr. Wheeler." The man Said. "My name is Marik. Perhaps you've heard of me."

Joey jumped back and pulled his punch knife. "Back da fuck up!" He Said, dropping into a fighting stance. "Normally I wouldn't pull a knife in a fist fight, but Jay told us not ta take any more chances wit' you Rare Hunta's."

"I merely wish to Duel you Mr. Wheeler." Marik Said. "If you don't, your sister might die."

Joey saw red and attacked the man. "W'ere da hell is Serenity!" He yelled.

Marik caught Joey's arm and pushed him back, not trying to hurt him, just push him out of the way. "Your sister has not been harmed, but if you don't Duel me, harm may befall her."

Joey looked at Marik with bloodlust burning in his eyes. "Fine, but afta I kick Yer ass, Yer gonna take me ta Serenity!"

"Very well. I was going to take you to her regardless of how you did."

Joey looked at Marik and glared before activating his Duel Disk.

"Let's Duel!" Both Duelists Shouted.

Joey Wheeler: 4000

Marik(Odion): 4000

"I'll go first!" Joey shouted. "Draw!, I summon Rocket Warrior an' equip 'im wit' Lightning Blade!" A green and yellow warrior with strange looking armor appeared on the battlefield with a glare at Odion before a sword with lightning sparking around it appeared in its hand.

"I'll set a ca'd in da spell an' trap zone an' end my turn." Joey seethed.

"My turn." Marik Said, drawing a Card. "I'll activate the Field Spell Temple of the Kings." The field became a temple with hieroglyphs on the walls and pillars and an altar. The wall facing Joey had eyes that seemed to stare at him. "The field has become a sanctuary for the Pharaoh's treasures. All non-gravekeepers must now be humble, and show the proper respect."

Joey wasn't even paying attention. He wanted to cave Mario's skull in here and now, but it wouldn't help him get Serenity back any faster.

"This card limits the number of cards you can set per turn." Marik set two cards on the field. "It will stop you from removing the traps set inside this temple." Two holographic cards appeared on the battlefield. "I end my turn."

Joey drew a card and played a Monster. "I'll summon the Swordsman of Landstar !" He shouted. "Attack Marik Directly!" He shouted "Swordsman of Landstar and Rocket Warrior!"

Marik Grunted as his life points dropped.

Marik(Odion): 1200

Joey Wheeler: 4000

"I end." Joey snarled.

"I draw a card and set two cards in the spell and Trap zone." Marik Said, two more holographic cards appearing on the battlefield. "I end.

"I draw." Joey snapped. "I Tribute My Swordsman of Landstar to tribute summon Summoned Skull!" The Summoned Skull appearing on the Battlefield and shrieking at Marik. "ATTACK!" Joey shouted.

"Trap card activate!" Marik shouted as Embodiment of Apophis activated and a snake with two arms holding a shield and sword appeared on the field only to be cut down by Summoned Skull and Rocket Warrior.

Joey Wheeler: 4000

Joey marched up to Marik and grabbed him by his robe before pulling him down to his face. "Where the hell is my sister!" He shouted into Marik's face.

"I will take you to her." Marik said. "However. Take one of my locator cards and any card from my deck."

"I don't want Yer stinkin' locata ca'd or Yer ca'd's! I just want my sista back ya bastard!"

"I'm afraid that I won't take you to her unless you follow the rules of the game." Marik said.

Joey Grit his teeth and took Marik's Locator card and his Embodiment of Apophis trap card since it was on his field. "Now! Take me ta my sista!"

"Follow me." Marik said, leading Joey to the docks where he saw Serenity, Tristan, Conner, Kazutaka, and TéA each standing on a cargo container over the water with Shiera standing on the docks with a chain tied to her ankle leading to Conner's cargo container.

"What's goin' on here!" Joey shouted, reaching for his punch knife only for five Rare Hunters to grab him and physically drag him to the docks and chain him to the cargo container Serenity was standing on while he struggled futilely to get away.

"It's no use Mr. Wheeler." Marik Said. "Wait here with for the others, and everything will be explained in due time."

"Let me outta dis thing or else I'll..."

"Or else you'll what! Mr. Wheeler? If you somehow managed to escape you would be gunned down and your sister would be dragged down into the depths of the sea to drown... alone, and blind."

Joey stopped struggling and gulped. He tried to keep himself from shivering and crying, but he couldn't.

"It's going to be okay." Shiera said. "We'll find a way to get out of this, all of us."

Joey looked at Shiera. "Ya really think so?" He asked.

"I do." She said. "We Just have to wait for the right moment."

"Joey?" Serenity asked, tears running down her face. "Are you there."

"I'm here Serenity!" Joey shouted. "I'm right here! Don't worry! We'll get you and de oders out o' dis!"

"Really?"

"Yeah."

Odion looked at everyone. Soon, the Pharaoh would show up, reveal that he wasn't the benevolent person everyone thought he was, show his true colors, and everyone would be let go after they defeated the Pharaoh and Greed the world from his Tyranny. It would all be over soon... he hoped. "Mr. Wheeler!" He Said. "Text the Pharaoh! Tell him to come to the docks!"

"So, ya can do da same ta him? I don't t'ink so!"

"If you don't, Then we will kill your sister!"

Joey ran at Marik only to be pulled to the ground by his chain. "I'll kill ya!" He shouted.

"Just text the Pharaoh Mr. Wheeler." Marik Said. "Stop being over dramatic."

Joey rubbed his ankle and took out his phone before texting Yugi.

"Do not warn him Mr. Wheeler!" Marik warned. "Just Tell him to meet you at the docks."

Joey: Hey Yuge, come down to the docks.

"Let me see the text before you send it." Marik said.

Joey tossed Marik his phone.

Marik read through the text and sent the message. It wasn't until after he'd sent the message that he realized that it had been a group message to all his friends.

"Whoops. Guess I musta sent a group text." Joey said.

"We were gathering all of your friends anyway Mr. Wheeler. You may have just saved us time."

Joey gulped and slammed his fists into the ground. "Damn it!" He swore.

Odion watched. It would all be over soon. They just needed to wait a little longer.
