-Marko's P.O.V-

"Hey Marko!" Paul announced my return, patting me on the back.

"And where did you go?" David questioned. I turned and saw him staring directly at me with a blank expression.

"Out" I shrugged.

"With who?" David leaned forward. The side of his mouth rose a little. These guys knew everything. I raised my hand to my lips and began chewing at my nail.

"Marko got laid!" Paul screamed. He began hollering and congratulating me. I rolled my eyes at his childish behaviour and took a seat.

"I didn't get laid Paul" I corrected. Snicker slightly.

"But you were with a girl?" Dwayne asked.

"I was" I answered.

"What's her name?" Paul curiously asked, diving to take a seat next to me.

"Naomi" I told them.

"What is she like?" Paul shot another question. He could be such a girl sometimes.

"She's cool" There's a reason I had to be so blunt about her.

"Do you like her Marko?" David started to interrogate me.

"Like I said, she's cool" I answered, drumming my hands on the couch.

I did line Naomi, she was a fascinating little thing. There was something about her, I felt instantly connected to her when we bumped into each other. She has the most adorable laugh. But I wouldn't tell the guys that, I didn't want them running this for me. Around them, I couldn't let on that I like her. Besides, I know what would come with it. There were consequences to liking humans.

"When are you next seeing her?" Dwayne asked. I let out a lighthearted laugh. I couldn't believe this.

"Tomorrow I think" There eyes never left me.

"I want to meet her" Paul blurted out. Not a chance!

"Maybe another time" I suggested and turned to retreat to our sleeping area.

"No!" David's voice made me freeze. "We will meet her tomorrow" I opened my mouth to protest but knew better. I just hung my heard. My nerves began to grow.

-Naomi's P.O.V-

I felt as though the day was dragging. On the bright side, Madison's boss hired me. No interview process, nothing. Only condition, I had to start immediately. I thanked Maddie countless times through out the day. At least I wouldn't be stuck at home bored out of my mind. Instead, I will be working with, someone who I consider my best friend, in this weird town. The uniform was cute too. A black skirt that came just above the knee and a white tank top with the diners name across the chest. Casual, the way I liked things.

"That will be 25 and 15 cents" I informed the elderly woman who came to pay her bill. My boss said we had to take turns on the till. I was on tonight. Madison showed me the ropes and I managed to get the hang of things pretty quickly. I frowned watching the woman frantically search through her purse.

"I only have 20" She sadly admitted. I saw the embarrassment on her face. I looked back over my shoulder, everyone was in the kitchen. I bit my bottom lip and turned back to face her.

"Just give me the 20, I'll cover the rest but don't tell anyone" I told her with a giggle.

"Thank you so much!" She handed me the 20. "Bless you" I watched her walk over to what I presumed to be her husband.

I sighed and leaned back against the counter, glancing up at the clock. 10 already. I didn't even notice it had gotten dark outside. I was distracted from my thoughts when the bell went off, signalling someone's arrival. I straightened myself and turned around. Marko! And three others, they must've been his brothers the told me about. I began to panic as I watched them head to a booth and check out the menus. Surely he would think low of me if he saw me working here. Just a poxy little diner waitress. I let out a little squeak and ducked down. 'Yep, like that's going to help'

"What are we doing on the floor?" I heard a whispered from next to me. I turned and saw Madison in the same position as me. We both let out a small giggle. This was ridiculous, I could only imagine how stupid we both looked right now.

"Do you see the guy with the really colourful jacket?" I watched her slowly pop her head up to see. She quickly ducked back down.

"Yeah?"

"Well I was with him last night, and the night before that. I really don't want him to see me like this" I admitted.

"Does Naomi like him?" She teased.

"Don't say my name!" I joked. "I don't like him...well I do but...I mean" I didn't know what to say so in the end I just shut up.

"Stop being stupid! Stand up and serve the guy. You never know it might not even be him that comes up to the counter" She tried reassuring me. "Besides, you're so pretty I highly doubt a waitress uniform will make him think low of you"

"You're right!" I smiled and put my shaking hands on the ground. I looked down at the ground.

"Okay, clearly you are too nervous so how about I work the till for now and you give them the food?" She suggested. I nodded and darted into the kitchen. It wasn't long before their orders came through and the chefs made a start on them. Finally, they were ready to be served. I grabbed the first two plates, breathed in through my nose and out through my mouth, finally leaving the kitchen and slowly walking over to them.

"Okay we have a bacon cheeseburger with fries and a side salad?" I looked up, trying to remain as professional as possible. They all stared at me.

"Well I would've asked for you instead if I knew you worked here" the guy sat next to Marko said, winking at me. He had wild blonde hair and dressed like a pirate.

"Aha..." I blinked twice handed him his food and looked at the others. "A grilled cheese with a side of fries?"

"That would be me" A quiet voice spoke. This one had long black hair, almost native American looking. I handed him his order and told them I'd be right back. I turned and headed back into the kitchen, grabbing the remaining two plates and bring them to the table.

"One Italian?"

"Right here" A cold voice spoke. I made eye contact with who the voice belonged to, fear instantly ran through me. This guy was definitely the leader, he was very intimidating. I quickly handed him his food and turned to Marko.

"So I'm guessing you ordered the chicken fajitas?" I smiled down at him, he smirked in return.

"How did you know?" He joked. I placed his plate in front of him.

"If you guys need anything else just ask. Enjoy your food" I smiled at them and walked off.

"Thanks Naomi" I turned and saw Marko grinning at me. I bit my lip, blushed and headed into the kitchen.

My first shift finally end it and personally I think I did a great job. I had changed out of my uniform into a pair of denim shorts and a black lace top. I said by goodbyes to the remaining workers, who were locking up, grabbed my bag and left. I only took two steps before someone grabbed my arm. I turned, seeing Marko standing in front of me. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't happy to see him.

"You never told me you worked here?" He smirked, raising an eyebrow.

"I only just started today" I replied.

"Well congratulations on getting a job" Marko playfully ruffled my hair.

"Thanks" I giggled.

"So my brothers want to meet you" He said whilst rubbing the back of his neck. I nervously agreed, letting him lead to me to where they were waiting. They stood next to their bikes across from the carousel. I stoped walking, seeing their eyes on us. Marko quickly took ahold of my hand, making me feel a little more comfortable.

"Guys, this is Naomi" He introduced. I smiled sweetly at each of them as Marko told me their names. Paul, David and Dwayne.

"Marko we should be getting back. Would miss Naomi like to join us?" David asked. His smirk made my skin crawl. I didn't like him at all.

"Actually I think it's best if I head back. It was nice meeting all of you though!"

"Come on Naomi, are you scared to take a ride on the wild side?" He challenged. With you...absolutely!

"I'll make sure you get back home, I'll protect you" Marko whispered into my ear. I finally agreed and climbed on behind Marko.

'How bad could this be?' I thought to myself.
