"You either join us or I'll kill you. No, as punishment for fucking up, I'll make Marko kill you!" Max bluntly put it. Marko's gripped tightened around my hand. I couldn't speak, I froze in place. I looked over at Marko, letting my tears fall.
"Like we're going to let that happen!" I looked over Max to see My uncle Michael, auntie Star, my dad, the frog brothers and my grandma all stood at the caves entrance.
"Emerson's!" Paul growled. The boys and Max had all 'vamped out' at their arrival.
"Get away from my daughter bloodsuckers!" The boys and Max slowly turned their heads to look at me with a shocked expression.

"Wait hold up, time out!" Paul's voice echoed throughout the cave. "Did I just hear that right?"
"If you heard what I heard then yes you did!" Dwayne growled, not taking his eyes off of my family.
"Naomi, your little Emerson's daughter?" Marko asked sounding a little hurt.
"Now I know why you looked so familiar!" David exclaimed. Before I could reply, Michael spoke.
"Don't even talk to her! Naomi, come over here!" My uncle demanded.
"Typical Michael, always trying to control everything and everyone" Max said, followed by come what of an evil chuckle.
"Don't start Max!" My grandma stepped forward.
"Aaaaa Lucy! What a pleasant surprise" On one side stood the boys and Max, on the other was my family. The scene looked like enemies about to go to war and my poor self was stuck in the middle. I had no clue what was going on.
"I'm sorry, am I missing something?" I asked scratching the back of my head, all attention turned to me.
"What do you mean?" My dad asked.
"How do you all know each other?" Once the question left my lips. Everybody started screaming over each other, trying to get their point across. I heard all sorts of different things. My auntie Star remained quiet. She was the most honest person I knew.
"EVERYBODY SHUT UP!" I screamed and the cave fell quiet instantly. "Auntie Star, will you tell me?"
Start started explaining everything. I learned that she knew the 'Lost boys' way before my family. That's how I learned their little group name also. She explained the events of 1987 and how Max wanted a mother for his boys and chose my grandma. In turn, convincing David and the boys to turn my uncle. She told me how my dad and the frog brothers attempted to kill Marko which turned into an all out brawl. And finally, the deal they all made. I asked how her and Michael turned back to their human selves and she explained that in detail, but I still didn't get it.
"So that's how" she finished.
"Is this true?" I asked my dad. "Is this the reason you became so overprotective of me when me moved here?"
"That's right. I didn't want these bastards hurting you!" My dad spat.
"Who are you calling bastards Emerson?" Dwayne challenged.
"Who do you think? He wasn't talking to the wall now was he!" Edgar said defending my dad.
"Watch your mouth frog!" Paul fired back.
"And what if he doesn't?" Alan now joining in.
"Are you forgetting we could kill you in a blink of an eye" David smirked.
"Guys please stop" I begged but no one seemed to listen.
The arguing went on for a long time, insults were being thrown back and forth. Marko said a few things, but nothing too hurtful, he was defending his brothers and I understood that. Star just hid behind Michael, she never was one for confrontation. My grandma however made sure she had her say, mainly insulting Max. I grew uncomfortable once threats were made and Marko noticed. He edged closer to me and tried to reach for my hand.
"Get away from her!" My dad yelled. I watched him pull out a stake from his backpack. Before anyone could react, he threw it straight at Marko.
"No!" I screamed and without thinking, pushed Marko out of the way, I now in the way of where he stood. I felt a sharp pain in my chest and I collapsed to the floor. Passing out from the pain. The last thing I heard were screams before everything went black.
