The silence that followed felt suffocating. They heard Lucas drop onto his bed with a soft thud, the weight of the action reverberating through the room. The soft sound of him sighing filled the air at, but there were no words—just the quiet rhythm of his breaths.
For the most part, Lucas remained still, the only sounds coming from the occasional sigh and the subtle creaks of his bed beneath him. Ness and Sonic stayed motionless, barely daring to even breathe, their minds racing as they waited in the stillness, unsure of what would happen next.
Ness: ["I-I'm freaking out."]
Sonic: ["Yeah, same here, buddy."]
Ness: ["I can't believe you brought me here!"]
Sonic: ["You could've left anytime."]
Ness: ["Why the fuck did you break into his room in the first place?! This is all your fault."]
Sonic: ["I was curious."]
Ness: ["Is this a normal thing for you? Do you break into everyone's room?"]
Sonic: ["Not everyone."]
Ness: ["Why us?"]
Sonic: ["It's funny."]
Ness: ["How is this funny?!"]
Sonic: ["Well it's not anymore. I also want out."]
Ness: ["I hate you, I hate you, I hate you."]
Sonic: ["Nah, you love me."]
Ness groaned in frustration, throwing his head back on the wall in annoyance, but in doing so, his movement caused a soft thud to resonate through the small space. The sound made both of them freeze, their hearts skipping a beat. The quiet that followed was shattered by the faint tiptoeing of Lucas's footsteps growing nearer.
Despite it being pitch black, the two instinctively exchanged a wide-eyed glance, their bodies tensing as they held their breath, trying to stay as still as possible. The door creaked open, followed by the sharp click of the light being switched on. The sudden brightness made their eyes sting, and they flinched, instinctively squeezing their eyes shut. They sat frozen, every muscle still, praying in silence that Lucas wouldn't discover them.
From their crouched position, with the hanging clothes providing a barrier, they could only see Lucas's feet as they approached, each step sounding louder in the tense silence. The anticipation was unbearable, every movement feeling like it could give them away.
Ba-dump!
Ba-dump!
Ba-dump!
The heat of anxiety clung to them as they began to sweat, their hearts pounding faster with each passing second. The anticipation was almost unbearable, a tight knot forming in both of their stomachs. It felt like they were trapped in some sort of horror game, where every creak of the floor, every movement from Lucas, could be the one that ended everything. Game over.
Ness's mind raced, trying to come up with an excuse—any excuse—for why they were hiding in his closet, but nothing came to him. The more he thought, the worse it seemed. He couldn't imagine a scenario where Lucas would accept the explanation, and the thought of losing their friendship, of being completely shut out, crushed him inside.
Sonic, too, felt the weight of the moment. He could see the tension in Ness's face, the way he stiffened, clearly tormented by the fear of what might come next. They were trapped, and it was as if time itself had frozen, every second feeling like an eternity.
Lucas bent down, and Ness's heart skipped a beat, his entire body frozen in place. He closed his eyes, waiting for the inevitable, the sound of Lucas's voice asking why they're here. Game over, Ness thought, his mind racing with the consequences.
But then, the only sound that reached his ears was the soft click of the light being turned off, followed by the door creaking shut. Ness's breath was caught in his throat, and for a moment, he couldn't believe it. They were safe.
Instinctively, the brunet let out a long, shaky sigh of relief, his body relaxing just a fraction. That was close. Too close. He could feel the tension still lingering in the air, but the immediate danger had passed, and for now, that was enough.
Sonic gently tapped Ness's shoulder, the sudden touch making the brunet flinch in surprise. "I know, I know, I'm sorry," Ness whispered, his voice quieter than usual. He lowered his head. "I won't do that again."
Sonic: ["Dude, he grabbed a dildo."]
Ness: ["Wwhat!"]
Sonic: ["You didn't see it?"]
Ness: ["No, I closed my eyes."]
Sonic: ["He grabbed a fuckin' dildo. Dude, he's gonna… Oh no. This is so fucked up."]
Ness: ["No…"]
Sonic: ["Ok, I'm actually sorry, Ness. I shouldn't have broken in."]
Ness: ["Yeah, no shit!"]
Sonic: ["Still gonna bother you though."]
Ness: ["No! Haven't you learned anything?"]
Sonic: ["Listen, I respect Lucas, but you? Nah, you're too fun to not bully."]
Ness: ["After this, I'm going to kill you."]
Sonic: ["You can try, Cheddar Biscuit~"]
Ness: ["Stop calling me that."]
Sonic: ["No."]
Ness: ["I really hate you."]
Sonic: ["Sure, whatever. But right now, we need to think of a plan."]
Ness: ["For breaking out?"]
Sonic: ["Yes, genius. We gotta leave out right now, otherwise we'll hear him jerk it, and I am not a fan of that."]
Ness: ["We can't break out now. He's awake, dipshit. It's too risky. We have to plan our escape once we know he's asleep."]
Sonic: ["Oh. Hehe."]
Ness: ["It's like the cave all over again. Why am I always in these predicaments with you? You're literally my bad luck charm."]
Sonic: ["Fuck you."]
Ness: ["No, fuck you! I had a normal life before you decided to pop into my life."]
Sonic: ["Let's be real, your life was dull without me."]
Ness: ["Maybe, but at least I didn't have to deal with this shit."]
Sonic: ["At least I make your life interesting. You had a boring ass life, always pushin' away your friends. Ever since I've been in your life, you hang out with people and you smile more. You're welcome for that by the way."]
Ness: ["You're acting like I need you."]
Sonic: ["You do need me."]
Ness: ["I feel like you're the one that needs me. You're the one that always shows up and bothers me. You act like you have all the friends in the world, but secretly you're so lonely."]
Sonic: ["Oh, that's hilarious comin' from you, Cheddar Biscuit. You know I hang out with lots of people. It isn't just you, ya know. Quit actin' like you're special."]
Ness: ["Then stop bothering me and hang out with them more."]
Sonic: ["If I do that, then you'd be depressed."]
Ness: ["I always tell you to get out!"]
Sonic: ["Because you're a tsundere."]
Ness: ["I'm surprised you even know what that means."]
Sonic: ["I watch my fair share of anime."]
Ness: [I'm not a tsundere. You're just saying that to justify your creepy ass obsession over me."]
Sonic: ["You want me to be obsessed, don't ya?"]
Ness: ["Hell no! I want you to leave me alone."]
Sonic: ["Do you really though? I call bullshit."]
Before Ness could respond, a loud moan from Lucas's room broke the silence, sharp and unsettling. The two froze, their bodies going rigid in shock, their jaws dropping simultaneously. The sound lingered in the air, thick with awkwardness and confusion. Neither of them knew how to react. The room felt heavier now, the tension returning with a new, uncomfortable twist. They were trapped in this moment, their breaths shallow, waiting for what would come next.
Sonic, determined and focused, crawled quietly over to the door, his movements swift but cautious. "W-what're you doing?!" Ness whispered in a panic, his voice low but laced with concern.
Sonic shot him a sharp look, barely suppressing his frustration. "Shut up, I'm tryin' to get a better listen," he angrily whispered back, his tone harsh but still keeping his voice down. His ear was pressed close to the door now, straining to catch whatever was happening outside, oblivious to the growing anxiety it was causing Ness.
Lucas: "Yes, m-master."
Sonic: ["Yooo…"]
Ness: ["What? What'd you hear?"]
Sonic: ["Bro said, 'yes master.'"]
Ness: ["Wwhat!"]
Sonic: ["I bet he's thinkin' of you."]
Ness: ["N-no, that's… No."]
Sonic: ["We both know he has a crush on you. He literally dated your clone thinking Nate was you."]
Ness: ["I know…"]
Sonic: ["You can't deny it any longer."]
Ness: ["Fuck… I…"]
Sonic: ["Do you like him?"]
Ness: ["Wwhat!"]
Sonic: ["Do you like him back?"]
Ness: ["No! I'm not gay."]
Sonic: ["You're in denial."]
Ness: ["You know I like Tina."]
Sonic: ["So you're bi then."]
Ness: ["I'm straight!"]
Sonic: ["Straight as a noodle, until it gets wet."]
Ness: ["Fuck off."]
Sonic: ["I feel like you're confused."]
Ness: ["What're you talking about?"]
Sonic: ["You're bi."]
Ness: ["No, I'm not. Why're you being so insistent on this?"]
Sonic: ["It's funny seeing you get all riled up."]
Ness: ["Stop messing with me. It's annoying."]
Sonic: ["No~"]
Sonic stayed crouched by the door, his ear pressed close as the moans coming from Lucas's room grew louder and more intense. The sound was unmistakable, and it left the blue blur in complete disbelief. He figured Lucas was the loud type, but hearing it firsthand was an entirely different experience. The intensity of it caught him off guard, and for a moment, Sonic's mind struggled to process what was happening.
Sonic: ["This is so fucked up."]
Ness: ["We shouldn't be here…"]
Sonic: ["I feel like an absolute creep right now."]
Ness: ["Good! You should feel that way. You broke into his room."]
Sonic: ["But also it's exciting."]
Ness: ["Dude…"]
Sonic: ["C'mon, it's morbid curiosity. Get over here and listen."]
Ness: ["No!"]
Sonic: ["I know you want to."]
Ness: ["I don't."]
Sonic crawled back over to Ness, his hands reaching out in the dark, searching for the brunet's wrist. "Dude, stop touching me," Ness hissed in a loud whisper, clearly uncomfortable and irritated.
Sonic smirked, undeterred by Ness's reaction. "C'mon, I know you wanna hear it too," he teased, his voice laced with amusement, even as the awkwardness of the situation hung heavy between them. He knew Ness was on edge, but the hedgehog couldn't help himself, trying to lighten the moment in his own way.
Sonic's words rang true though, even if Ness didn't want to admit it. Morbid curiosity was something everyone experienced, a strange draw to something awful, yet oddly compelling. It was the kind of thing that made people want to peer into the darkness, even if they knew they shouldn't.
Ness, however, refused to accept it. Deep down, he knew that a part of him wanted to hear more, to understand what was happening, but he quickly buried that thought. He couldn't let himself give in to that curiosity—especially not now, with everything already feeling so wrong. Instead, he focused on staying quiet, and pushing Sonic's playful antics away.
Ness: ["Sonic, I swear to god, stop yanking on me or else I'll-
Sonic suddenly placed his giant gloved hand over Ness's mouth, silencing the brunet's startled outburst. "Mmf!" Ness muffled an angry scream, his frustration and confusion rising.
Before Ness could shove him off, Sonic quickly moved on top of him, pushing him further behind the drawer for cover. The two were pressed close together in the small space, the air thick with tension.
The sound of the door creaking open and the light switching on again was like a jolt of electricity, sending both of them into complete stillness. Every muscle in their bodies locked. Sonic's gloved hand remained firmly over Ness's mouth, and he stayed perched on top of the brunet, their bodies pressed together in a tense, motionless silence.
With his free hand, Sonic held up a finger to his lips, signaling for Ness to stay quiet. His green eyes, usually full of mischief, were narrow with focus and concern. Ness couldn't help but notice how small his green eyes appeared in the dim light—sharp and intense, he's never seen Sonic so nervous and scared before.
Ness, his breath shaky and his heart pounding in his chest, slowly nodded, understanding the gravity of the moment. Both of them remained absolutely still, not daring to move a muscle, as the silence in the room stretched on, broken only by the sound of Lucas's footsteps.
From the corner of his eye, Ness saw Lucas reach for something on the nearby shelf. His heart dropped when he saw what it was—a shock collar. His eyes widened in pure fear as the sight triggered a rush of terrible flashbacks. The memories of Luigi forcing that same type of collar on him in the cave came flooding back, vivid and jarring.
The panic surged through him, and his breath quickened, the air feeling thick and suffocating. He fought to steady himself, but the flashbacks made it almost impossible to calm down. His chest tightened, and a slight hyperventilation began to take hold of him as the past replayed in his mind. Every inch of him screamed to get out of this situation, but he had to stay still, had to stay silent.
Sonic could feel the tremors running through Ness's body, the brunet's fear prominent under his touch. He shook his head slightly, a silent signal for Ness to calm down. The last thing they needed was to be heard, and the more Ness's breathing grew erratic, the harder it would be to stay hidden.
Ness, unable to keep his eyes on the scene, averted his gaze, his breath coming in quick, shallow gasps. His chest rose and fell rapidly, each breath louder than the last. Sonic's grip on him tightened, and he pressed his hand deeper over Ness's mouth, hoping that the pressure would muffle the sounds of his panicked breathing even more.
Ness: ["Mmf…" *Breathes heavily*]
Sonic silently mouthed the words "It's okay" over and over again, his eyes locked with Ness's, trying to offer some reassurance. He needed the psychic to stay calm, to understand that as long as they kept quiet, they'd be fine. But Ness's attention was elsewhere, his gaze turned sharply to the left. He didn't want to focus on the floor or Sonic; he just wanted to look at anything but the terrifying reality of the moment. His eyes settled on the clothes hanging near the end of the wall, as if they could somehow distract him from everything around them.
Sonic, sensing Ness's distress, carefully moved his free hand and gently cupped his face, turning it back toward him. The soft, unexpected touch caught Ness off guard, causing him to look up at Sonic in surprise. The hedgehog's face was full of calm determination, and his lips were still mouthing the reassuring words, "It's okay. We're okay." He repeated them softly, hoping the gesture, the words, anything, could help calm the terrified brunet.
From the corner of Ness's eye, he saw Lucas still rummaging through the box, his movements slow. Ness tried desperately to look anywhere other than the collar Lucas had placed on the floor, but no matter how hard he tried to avoid it, it was right there, just inches away. His eyes locked onto it, and his breathing grew more erratic, each inhale coming in quick, shallow gasps.
Sonic, noticing Ness's panic escalating, gritted his teeth. He moved swiftly, his hands pressing over both Ness's mouth and nose, trying to muffle the sound of his breathing as best as he could. The added pressure was meant to make it harder for anyone to hear. Unfortunately it didn't help Ness's case. Being in a confined place, a person being on top of him telling him to be quiet, the fact that he's muffled, all reminded him of the cave incident with Luigi. He was so close into biting Sonic's hand and screaming, but seeing Lucas's legs, knowing that their cover would be blown, knowing there's a chance he wouldn't have a friend anymore gave him enough strength to sit still and endure the trauma.
Finally, Lucas's movements came to a halt. He pulled something out of the box—a remote. With a satisfied grunt, he grabbed the collar from the floor and exited the room, flipping off the light and shutting the door behind him with a soft click. Darkness enveloped the closet once more, leaving Sonic and Ness alone in silence.
Even with Lucas gone, their tension didn't immediately fade. Sonic remained frozen for a moment longer, his ears straining to ensure Lucas had fully left. Ness, meanwhile, was still quietly hyperventilating, the sound faint but noticeable in the oppressive quiet.
Sonic felt the trembling in Ness's body start to subside, and with enough time, the brunet's breathing finally began to steady. Satisfied that they were in the clear, Sonic slowly and gently lifted his hands away from Ness's mouth and nose, his movements deliberate to avoid startling him. He shifted quietly, sliding next to Ness instead of staying on top of him, his small frame pressed close for comfort in the confined space.
"You okay?" Sonic whispered, his voice barely audible in the darkness, his tone filled with genuine concern.
Ness: ["I-I'm fine."]
Sonic: ["Dude, what the hell was that about?"]
Ness: ["Nothing. I'm fine."]
Sonic: ["No the fuck you weren't. What triggered that? I've never seen you have a full blown panic attack. Well actually, yes I have. You've done it before in the cave. But that one is obvious. We were trapped against our will for months. I'm confused as to why you suddenly hyperventilated like that right now."]
Ness: ["I..."]
Sonic: ["Did you see something?"]
Ness's body immediately tensed at Sonic's whispered question. Even in the dark, where the hedgehog couldn't see the brunet's face, he could feel that Ness suddenly went stiff, as if he was caught red-handed.
Sonic: ["So it was what you saw. Did it remind you of a past trauma?"]
Ness: "..."
The deafening silence from Ness made Sonic's stomach churn. It hit him then just how deeply the situation had scarred his friend. Ever since they escaped that hellish cave and returned to their normal routines, they'd both silently agreed not to talk about it. The horrors they faced down there were things neither of them could put into words, at least not without the pain resurfacing.
But Sonic knew something had happened to Ness—something far worse than what he endured. He'd pieced together fragments of it from the few moments he'd been conscious before Luigi knocked him out with that mallet. The image of the green plumber looming over Ness, the malicious grin etched on his face, haunted him in fleeting memories. He never got the full story. Whatever Luigi did in that cave had left a wound in Ness that still festered, raw and unhealed.
Now, seeing the psychic unravel like this, Sonic could feel the weight of those unresolved traumas. The brunet, who always carried himself with a sharp, confident edge, was breaking right before his eyes. His hyperventilation, his trembling, and his inability to keep his usual cool pretentious façade were signs of how deeply Luigi's actions had affected him. The hedgehog's heart ached with guilt for not being able to protect him.
He placed a hand on Ness's shoulder, his voice soft but steady as he whispered, "I'm here, dude. Whatever's going on… you don't have to deal with it alone."
To Sonic's surprise, Ness didn't slap away his hand like he thought he would do. Instead, he slumped slightly against the wall. "Please don't tell anyone how I acted tonight, or the fact that any of this happened," he whispered. "I won't," the hedgehog reassured.
Ness: ["Luigi put a shock collar on me."]
Sonic: ["What?"]
Ness: ["He tried to y'know, but… I was able to knock him out before he could. With a wine bottle of all things. I got really lucky. Sometimes I still think about that day. What if the wine bottle wasn't there, what would've happened to me that night."]
Sonic: ["I-I'm so sorry…"]
Ness: ["Then he hit you with that mallet, and I genuinely thought you died. I was so scared. I know I'm strong but knowing I couldn't do anything was the scariest moment of my life. I've never felt so powerless."]
Sonic: ["I understand. Don't feel bad for not helping me. It was those cuffs. They were like magic suckin' up our strength."]
Ness: ["I still have so many questions about those cuffs. How did Mario even get his hands on them?"]
Sonic: ["No clue. But I hope I never see one again."]
Ness: ["Same here."]
.
.
.
Sonic: ["Hey, thanks for openin' up to me. I know it's hard, but I'm really proud of you."]
Ness's heart skipped a beat, caught entirely off guard by Sonic's words. The hedgehog never praised him. If anything, Sonic seemed to take joy in teasing him, poking fun at every little thing to get under his skin. But this? This was different. This was genuine, and the rare sincerity struck a chord Ness didn't even realize was there.
A small smile crept onto Ness's face. He actually praised me, he thought, still stunned. He replayed the words in his head, savoring them. That moment of recognition, especially from someone like Sonic, meant the world to him.
In that fleeting moment, something shifted. Sonic wasn't just the annoying hedgehog who lived to provoke him; he was someone Ness could trust. Someone who, when it truly mattered, was there for him. It wasn't much, but it was enough to make Ness feel just a little less alone.
Ness: ["Yeah, well, don't get used to it. I only opened up because I can't see your annoying face."]
Sonic: ["Still, I'm proud."]
The silence stretched between them, heavy but not uncomfortable. Sonic found himself lost in thought, and for once, it wasn't about something easy or lighthearted. A pang of self-awareness hit him, and he couldn't help but cringe internally. What the hell am I doing? he thought, annoyed with himself.
He wasn't supposed to be this guy—the one who got sappy and emotional. He was Sonic, the carefree, cocky party animal who lived for the thrill and avoided anything that resembled vulnerability. He didn't want Ness to see him as anything more than the hedgehog who teased him for kicks. That dynamic was safe, simple. Yet here he was, crossing the line into actual friendship.
Sonic glanced at Ness, his mind running wild despite the darkness that cloaked them. He couldn't see the brunet's expression, but he could picture it: a mix of vulnerability and guardedness, like Ness was trying to process everything while keeping his walls intact. The geek loser of all people, Sonic thought again, though this time the insult carried no venom.
There was something different about Ness. Unlike the psychic, Shadow was straightforward in his intensity—sharp edges and unwavering confidence, their rivalry was clean, almost predictable. They could spar endlessly, knowing they'd never break each other, just keep sharpening their skills. But Ness… Ness was different. He was powerful, just as strong as Sonic or Shadow, he also didn't have to worry about hurting him physically, but there was a softness to him that unnerved Sonic, something more complicated. He wasn't all raw power or swagger; he was layered, vulnerable, and driven by emotions Sonic couldn't always understand. It wasn't just about strength with Ness—it was about how he carried it, how he balanced it with his insecurities and his strange mix of confidence and self-doubt.
That duality unsettled Sonic. He wasn't used to dealing with people who weren't all one thing or the other. Ness made him feel things he couldn't fully explain, like a need to protect him one moment and fight with him the next. It was confusing and frustrating, and Sonic hated how much it occupied his thoughts. It bothered him more at this second because all he wanted to do was to be there for him.
Aaaah! Fuck! Ness... What the fuck are you doing to me? I can't do this shit again. He mentally punched himself in the face. He didn't get involved, didn't let people get close—not since Amy. Opening up with her had ended disastrously, and he still carried the guilt of hurting her. He swore never to go through that again, never to let himself—or anyone else—get comfortable.
But Ness was slipping through the cracks of his defenses. Sonic could feel it. And what scared him most was that he saw parts of himself in Ness. That similarity stirred something unfamiliar, something unspoken.
He sighed inwardly, trying to shove the thoughts aside. But they lingered, no matter how much he told himself this was all too "cringy." Ness didn't need to know Sonic actually cared—not about him, not about their stupid shared moments, and definitely not about the way this weird connection was starting to feel like something real.
The awkward tension that had been building between them finally dissipated when Ness broke the silence. Sonic watched as the brunet crawled over to the door, his movements quiet. Ness pressed his ear against the wooden surface, his body tense but determined.
"I—I think we're good to escape," he whispered, his voice barely audible.
Sonic let out a breath he hadn't realized he'd been holding, grateful for the distraction from his spiraling thoughts. "About time," he muttered under his breath, crawling up behind Ness.
Ness shot him a warning glance, his lips pressed into a thin line. "Be quiet," he whispered sharply, his tone carrying more authority than Sonic expected. It was enough to make the hedgehog comply for once. He crouched low behind Ness, waiting for him to make the next move.
The brunet moved with caution, cracking the door open just wide enough to peek through. His eyes darted to Lucas's bed, where the blonde lay still, faint snores filling the room like a gentle hum of reassurance. No movement. No sign he'd stir.
He turned back to Sonic, motioning with a quick wave of his hand to follow. The hedgehog gave a silent nod and crawled out of the closet after him. Together, they moved through the room, keeping low to the ground, their breaths shallow as if even the sound of exhaling could wake Lucas.
The soft night breeze wafting in from the window caught Ness's attention, the curtains swaying ever so slightly. He pointed toward their escape route, and Sonic gave him another nod, his expression serious for once.
Step by step, they crawled across the carpeted floor, their movements slow and measured. The room felt like it stretched on forever, each inch feeling like a mile. Finally, they reached the open window.
Ness carefully hoisted himself up first, slipping through and landing silently on the concrete below. He turned to Sonic, who followed with the same quiet precision, his feet hitting the ground.
The two stood outside, the cool night air a welcome relief from the choking tension of Lucas's room. For a moment, they just stood there, catching their breath and exchanging a look of relief. Then without a second thought, the two began walking, heading for the entrance of the mansion while chatting.
Ness: "We did it. We actually escaped."
Sonic: "Holy fuck! That shit was crazy."
Ness: "I can't believe that happened."
Sonic: "I know, I seriously thought we were gonna get caught."
Ness: "I'm sorry I started freaking out."
Sonic: "Dude, honestly, I should be the one apologizing. I shouldn't have broken into his room."
Ness: "You shouldn't be breaking into anyone's room!"
Sonic: "I promise I won't do that anymore. Except for you of course."
Ness: "I hate you."
Sonic: "You know you love it."
Ness: "I don't."
Sonic: "What? Afraid I'll pop up when you're jerkin' it?"
Ness: *Blushes* "C-can you not!"
Sonic: "Hahaha~!"
Once they slipped back into the mansion, the comforting quiet of the grand halls surrounded them. Ness moved quickly, his footsteps barely audible against the polished floors, making a beeline for his room. Sonic followed, his usual swagger toned down, as though the weight of the night's events still clung to him.
When they reached Ness's room, the brunet pushed the door open and stepped inside, letting out a deep breath he'd been holding. Sonic immediately ran inside shutting the door softly behind them.
Ness flopped onto his bed, his face buried in the pillow as he let out a muffled groan. Sonic leaned against the door, arms crossed, watching him with a mix of amusement and concern.
"Man, that was way too close," Sonic finally said, breaking the silence.
Ness rolled over, his expression a mix of exhaustion and frustration. "Yeah, no kidding. Thanks for this awful experience by the way."
Sonic shrugged, a small grin tugging at the corner of his mouth. "It wasn't all awful."
Ness shot him a tired glare. "I just found out my friend is a sex deviant."
The hedgehog laughed. He walked over and hopped on the bed laying next to the exhausted brunet. "I can never see him the same again."
Ness groaned, throwing an arm over his eyes. "Neither can I."
Sonic: "Anyway all that panicking made me sleepy. We'll talk about it more tomorrow. Goodnight, bitch."
Ness: "Nooo… Get out."
Sonic: "Make me~"
Ness: "I'm too tired."
Sonic: "Then shut up and sleep."
Ness: "Ugh, I hate you."
Sonic: "Love ya too, Cheddar Biscuit."
Ness: "That's not my name."
Sonic: "Keep it down, I'm tryin' to sleep."
Ness: "Fuck you…"
Sonic: "No thanks~ Hahaha~!"
Ness: "Hhhggnnn…"
