The warriors of what was the Unified Resistance Army fought mightily against the Salacian forces. Warriors like Rock, Luke and Flamey; Alice, Viki and AJ; Nathan, Matthew and Scooter; Cody, Trina and Louis; Higor, Eric and Amanda; Maxwell, Melissa and Taylor. Warriors like Jason, Benja, Eddy and Vicent; Blake, Miguel, Juliane and Amy; Manuel, Christian, Arnold and Isaiah; Alfonso, Gaby, Smokey and Byron; Jorge, Abdiel, Rainbow and Zoe; Lucas, Sean, Mathias, Raymond and Bruce. Even Fabio Yabusaki, Bill Portland, Melody Toriwara and Kate Stewart got into the battle as well. Whether they belonged to the Kongming Army or the Yabusaki Army, they now fought under the banner of the Octavia Army to bring peace between Dryland and Salacia and force a new future of coexistence between the peoples of those worlds.

The Combo Rangers initially struggled against the Nokizaru task force, but when the Aurora Curtains opened, they were joined by different versions of themselves who had different kinds of superpowers that allowed them to morph into their Ranger forms. In different times or universes, their Ranger suits were simple with yellow stripes, slightly more ornate with Z's on their costumes or just did away with the helmets in favour of visors. Another alternate version of them incorporated their civilian clothes over their Ranger suits.

Meanwhile, Liziana, Walter, Daisy, Toire, Danny and Jake fought the Combo Rangers' mentors, namely the Mighty Combo, Mirrorman, Peacemaker, Camilla, Fabi and Dr Cooper, only to be overrun when different versions of the mentors joined the fray alongside other heroes.

"It's great to see the Yabuverse still growing strong!" commented the Mighty Combo.

"What the hell are you talking about, Combo?" retorted Peacemaker. "All I see are punks fighting more punks. I've seen better fights than this outside my house!"

"Now, now, Peacemaker, they're just kids," reassured Mirrorman. "We just taught them how to fight smarter and better. It's inevitable that these kids would find their own ways of fighting, whether individually or as a team."

"Yeah, whatever, dickhead."

The Rangers looked at all the different versions of themselves and their mentors all around them. "Hey Fox," said Tati, "are they… us?"

"Yeah," replied Fox. "They are, and so are they, and them, and them!"

"Not just that," added Kiko. "There's other versions of Uncle Combo, Mirrorman, Peacemaker and everyone else too, even heroes we haven't met before! What's going on?"

"They must have come from different universes!" said Lisa.

"And they've got better powers than us," added Ken.

"Well, powers or not, we can't afford to fall behind, now can we?" said Lisa.

"Right!" the Rangers answered.

The Combo Rangers defeated the ninjas and soldiers of the Nokizaru task force before turning to their leaders, Isa and Nico.

Isa questioned, "How? How is it that you've managed to thwart every single one of my plans? Defeated all our forces? Taken back the lands we conquered?"

Ken, Lisa, Tati, Sara, Kiko and Fox each responded...

"Because you underestimated humanity, and never thought once about the reason we fight!"

"We found a reason to be strong and to move forward with our friends…"

"We turned the misfortune and sadness of humanity into blades of silver…"

"We broke through our regrets and limits and drowned them into echoes…"

"We fight for the kind people of this world so we can all love, hope and smile another day…"

"Because we're the Combo Rangers, and Earth's defenders never surrender! Rangers…"

And the six of them said, "It's Combo time!" before charging at Nico, Isa and the remainder of the taskforce to engage them in combat, Fox with his Tai Chi, Ken with his eagle claws, Kiko with his superhuman strength, Lisa with her hand aura, Tati with her needles and Sara with her pistols.

Nearby, the Demon Slayer Corps were fighting hard as well, faring a lot better than they did during the Campinas Campaign. Princess Runai joined the Demon Slayers Bubbly, Glossy, Fluffy and Butter as they fought Naimo, Sting, Saula, Bethany, Alexia and their troops.

"Who says slime breathing isn't effective?" said Glossy. "We'll show them!"

Each of the Demon Slayers readied their Nichirin Swords as they prepared to unleash their slime breathing techniques.

"Slime Breathing, Fifth Form: Imperfect Dragon!" 粘の呼吸 伍ノ形 画竜点睛 (がりょうてんせい)

Bubbly created a green dragon out of bubbly slime and sent it at the enemy as she slashed through them.

"Slime Breathing, Eighth Form: First Howling Ray of Moonlight!" 粘の呼吸 捌ノ形 新月初光 (しんげつしょうこう)

Princess Runai covered her Nichirin Sword in glossy slime and made it shine intensely, turning it into a lightsaber which she used to blind her enemies before slashing them.

"Slime Breathing, Third Form: Cutie Rush!" 粘の呼吸 参ノ形 ふわふわ大進撃

Fluffy rushed forward, sending blobs of fluffy slime ahead of her to disorient her enemies before slashing them like an afterimage.

"Slime Breathing, First Form: Slip and Slide!" 粘の呼吸 壱ノ形 粘滑 (ねりすべ)

Butter led his enemies on a chase while leaving slippery slime in front of him, causing his enemies to slip. His mastery of this breathing technique prevented him from slipping on his own slime.

"Slime Breathing, Second Form: Borax Cloud!" 粘の呼吸 弐ノ形 硼砂毒雲 (ぼうしゃどくも)

"Slime Breathing, Sixth Form: Glitter Pebble Scatter!" 粘の呼吸 陸ノ形 ギラメちらし

Even Glossy's assistants Cata and Lara got into the fight as well. Cata emitted a cloud of powdered borax and Lara sent various small objects like glitter and confetti at them like a dust storm, disorienting the Salacians before they charged through them.

"Total Concentration, Slime Breathing, Tenth Form: Infinite Purgatory – Slimeado!" 粘の呼吸 拾ノ形 無間粘獄・竜粘 (むげんねんごく・たつねり)

Glossy channelled the powers of all types of slime, including bubbly, glossy, fluffy, clear and even unicorn slime, and summoned a tornado that trapped Salacians within it before she slashed through the tornado with a running leap.

With this, the five young royals were the only ones who remained. Nico saw this and immediately broke off his fight with the Combo Rangers to help them. Though he was formidable, he started to regret his rash decision upon seeing that he was no match for their Slime Breathing.

Glossy said to her team, "Slime Breathing isn't the only style we know! Demon Slayers, let's finish them!"

"Right!"

And so, Cata, Lara, Butter, Fluffy, Glossy, Princess Runai and Bubbly finished off Alexia, Sting, Bethany, Naimo, Saula and Nico with breathing techniques used by Demon Slayers in the Taisho era of Japan.

"Water Breathing, Fourth Form: Striking Tide!" 水の呼吸 肆ノ型 打潮

"Water Breathing, Sixth Form: Whirlpool!" 水の呼吸 陸ノ型 ねじれ渦

"Thunder Breathing, First Form: Thunderclap and Flash – Sixfold!" 雷の呼吸 壱ノ型 霹靂一閃・六連

"Flame Breathing, Third Form: Blazing Universe!" 炎の呼吸 参ノ型 気炎万象

"Wind Breathing, Fifth Form: Cold Mountain Wind!" 風の呼吸 伍ノ型 木枯らし颪

"Mist Breathing, Sixth Form: Lunar Dispersing Mist!" 霞の呼吸 陸ノ型 月の霞消

"Total Concentration, Water Breathing, Tenth Form: Constant Flux!" 水の呼吸 拾ノ型 生生流転

Naimo and his friends were defeated and only Nico was left standing, having been thrown back by Bubbly's attack. With no other option, Nico charged at her with all he had, but then, Bubbly unleashed her true finale…

"Hinokami Kagura: Clear Blue Sky!" ヒノカミ神楽 碧羅の天

"Nico!" Isa screamed in horror. She tried running to him but the Combo Rangers stopped her.

"Your fight is with us!" said Fox.

Isa put up a good fight against the Combo Rangers with her sword, but Lisa and Tati worked together to knock it out of her hands. Fox, Ken, Kiko and Sara took turns fighting Isa, each of them managing to touch specific pressure points on her body with their fingers. Then, once Fox hit the final point and leaped back, his strategy finally took effect. Isa suddenly found herself frozen up, unable to move.

"What the… You… What have you done?"

"Touch of Death. Cool, isn't it? Everyone, now!"

Fox placed his hands between Isa's shoulders and neck. Ken and Tati supported Fox's shoulders and hips as Kiko and Lisa did the same to them. Sara readied herself behind Kiko and Lisa, her hands on their shoulders.

"Ready!" called Fox.

"Mark!" called Ken and Tati.

"Charge!" called Kiko and Lisa.

Fox commanded, "Sara, on your call!"

Sara replied, "Right! Combo Strike Bomber, fire!"

"Fire!" shouted the Combo Rangers. With Sara pushing on their backs, Kiko and Lisa channelled their power through Ken, Tati and Fox, causing Isa to be thrown back to a nearby building, which collapsed as the buildup of power in her caused an explosion.

The Combo Rangers, Demon Slayers and the other warriors of the Octavia Army successfully defeated their enemies, but the crisis wasn't over yet as time was running out and the main culprit of this crisis remained. But for now, some praise was in order.

Fabio came up to the Combo Rangers to congratulate them on their success. "Rangers, you have fought exceptionally well. Your mentors are proud of what you have achieved, just as I am proud to have you all in my army. The same commendations go to my daughter Runai and the Demon Slayer Corps as well. Thank you all for your service. Anyway, we should help the Salacians find Parker and the Shark King. Let's go, everyone."

And so the Combo Rangers and Demon Slayer Corps rejoined the Yabusaki Army and UNIT in their search as part of the Octavia Army.

While the other battles were happening, Parker was running all over Santos, searching for the Shark King and defeating Salacians on the way. Just as he thought he was never going to find the Shark King in time, Parker saw an Aurora Curtain open in front of him as three people ran out of it. It was Azuma Yeonchi and his assistants, the Tandy Computer Whiz Kids Alec and Shanna.

Yes, it's me. I'm breaking the fourth wall and making an appearance in my own story. What? It's not like other people haven't done it before. Anyway…

"Oh, thank God we made it," said Azuma. "You two alright?"

"Yes," replied Alec and Shanna.

Azuma looked up and saw who was in front of him. "Y-You're Parker! Hey, how you been, man?"

"Not a good time," said Parker as he turned around to leave, only to be stopped by the three.

"Wait, wait, wait…" Azuma said. "Look, I've heard about your situation and I wanted to tell you that things will get better for you as long as you do the right thing."

"Why are you telling me this?"

"Because I've been where you are now. I've been called out, cancelled, had the entire world go against me, and despite all the mob culture and internet comments, there's something important that I've learnt. What matters is what you decide to do next."

Parker thought for a moment, then replied, "Thanks for the advice, but I really should be going now. By the way, nice to see your reviews of the Combo Rangers Universe graphic novels. Sorry I wasn't able to help with those clones or contact you after that, Azuma-san."

"No hard feelings, Parker. It was difficult for me to contact you anyway. Good luck, mate." After watching Parker run off, he turned to Alec and Shanna and said, "Alright, you two, let's get in there and make up for lost time!"

"Right!" they said before the three of them ran off in another direction to join the ongoing battle.
