Chapter 99: Kumquat Island! Home to the Final Gym!

Hello everyone, this chapter will cover Ash taking on the Kumquat Gym so that he can get his final gym badge. I hope you all enjoy it.

The chapter begins 1 day after the last chapter ended with the group still riding on Lapras's back. As Lapras continues to swim Tracey looks forward and speaks.

"There it is" Tracey says causing the others to look as they see Kumquat Island. The 4 kids have smiles on their faces as Leaf speaks.

"We finally made it!" Leaf says happily as Ash along with Pikachu have smiles on their faces Tracey speaks.

"You know I read that when staying at one of the hotels on Kumquat Island they have hot springs, work outs for your Pokémon, massages, and excellent food." Tracey says making Misty and Leaf excited as Misty speaks.

"A hot spring sounds lovely" "And I could use a good massage" The girls say with Togetic agreeing with them as Ash speaks.

"Hey guys we're here for the gym remember?" Ash says as Tracey speaks.

"We know Ash we're just looking forward to different things" Tracey says with Misty and Leaf agreeing with him as Ash nods, he then looks at Pikachu and speaks.

"Anyway, let's do our best Pikachu" Ash says with the yellow mouse nodding as a few seconds later Lapras makes it to the dock. The group get off Lapras's back and tell the mon thank you as Ash then returns her back to her Pokeball and they then begin to walk. As they're walking, they see a big hotel and next to it is a beautiful beach. Outside of the hotel we see people who work there promoting it with a short red headed woman promoting it the most. The group look at the building and see just how big it is as Misty speaks.

"It's huge maybe we can stay here tonight" Misty says as Ash speaks.

"Why? When we're just going to leave after my gym battle's over" Ash says as Leaf speaks.

"I wonder how tasty their food is?" Leaf says as Tracey speaks.

"The Kumquat Island Hotel is said to be not only the most popular hotel on the island but also has the best food that you can't find anywhere else in the Orange Islands." Tracey says making Leaf drool a little bit as Ash speaks.

"But my gym battle" Ash says while pouting a little bit as Tracey speaks.

"Well, you can't have a gym match on an empty stomach, right? So, let's go to one of the food stands on the beach and see what they have" Tracey says and just when Ash's about to decline his stomach growls making him blush in embarrassment causing everyone else to chuckle. They then begin making their way down to the beach and when they walk pass the hotel the red-haired woman looks at Ash and speaks.

"Is that?" The woman says as we now cut over to the group who're now on the beach. They look around and see many food stands as Tracey speaks.

"I wonder which one we should try first" Tracey says and just when they're about to walk towards one they then hear a voice.

"TRAVIS!" The voice says alarming the group causing them to look at where the voice came from as they see a woman running towards them as she speaks.

"Travis it's your Momma!" The woman says as when she gets close enough Pikachu quickly jumps on Misty's shoulder for safety as the woman wraps Ash in a big and tight hug affectionate hug as she speaks.

"Oh, Travis my soul, my sun, my heart, my everything it's been so long since I've seen you" The woman says as she continues to hug Ash tightly until the boy manages to free himself Ash speaks.

"Whoa hold on lady" Ash says as the woman looks at Ash gasps and speaks.

"Oh, Travis your face as changed you must've gone through major hard ship on your journey here this hug from momma will make you fill better." The woman says as she begins to hug Ash tightly again Ash manages to break free and speaks.

"I'm sorry to tell you this mam but my name isn't Travis, and I already have a mom!" Ash says as the woman then looks at Ash again and sees that it isn't her son the woman has a surprised look on her face as she speaks.

"Oh, I'm terribly sorry" The woman says apologetically as she bows. Pikachu then goes back on Ash's shoulder as Tracey looks at the woman and speaks.

"Does Ash really look like your son?" Tracey asks as the woman speaks.

"Yes, you see my son along with his Pikachu left on a journey about a year ago and I haven't seen them since then" The woman says with the group nodding as Misty speaks.

"Does that mean that your son is trying to become a Pokémon Master?" Misty asks with the woman nodding as Ash speaks.

"Really? Cool! Because that's my goal too" Ash says while having a smile on his face as the woman speaks.

"Well then I wish you good luck" The woman says with Ash saying thanks as she then thinks for a little and speaks.

"Wait you said your name was Ash, right? Is your last name Ketchum?" The woman asks as Ash speaks.

"Yep, that's right I'm Ash Ketchum from Pallet Town and I'm here to take on the Kumquat Island gym" Ash says with Pikachu nodding as the woman speaks.

"I knew I've seen you before I watched your Kanto League battles, along with the battle you had against Nemona during the Mandarin Island Tournament and was impressed by your battle skills" The woman says making Ash happy as she continues to speak.

"And you said that you're here to challenge the Kumquat Island gym?" The woman asks with Ash nodding as the woman smiles and speaks.

"Well in that case I should let you know that I'm the gym leader" The woman says surprising the group as they speak.

"You're the Kumquat Island gym leader?!" The group say while having surprised looks on their faces with the woman nodding as she speaks.

"Yep, you heard right I'm the North Star of the Orange Crew and my name's Luana" Luana says with the group nodding as Ash speaks.

"Well in that case since you're here I challenge you!" Ash says with Pikachu sparking his cheeks as Luana smiles and speaks.

"I accept your challenge" Luana says making Ash excited as she continues to speak.

"Come with me I'll take you to the gym" Luana says with Ash nodding as he along with the others begin to follow her. As they continue to follow her, they come to the Kumquat Island hotel as Leaf speaks.

"Is this building the gym?" Leaf asks as Luana speaks.

"No but the gym is inside" Luana responds with Leaf nodding as Tracey speaks.

"Hmmm nice lodging and hot springs sounds like the ideal gym to me" Tracey says as he along with the others then walk inside the building. Once they're inside they see a man as Luana walks over to him and speaks.

"Manager please provide a deluxe suite from my guest please" Luana asks as the man speaks.

"Right away director" The man says as Misty speaks.

"She's the director and she's letting us stay in a deluxe suite? So cool!" Misty says with Togetic and Leaf agreeing with her. After that they continue to follow Luana and as they're walking, they see many facilities that have Pokémon along with their trainers working out, getting massages, dance workouts, hot springs and many other things. The group all have smiles on their faces while looking around and they keep following Luana as they all then go into one room. When they go inside, they see what looks like a big stadium as Luana speaks.

"This is where we'll have our match" Luana says with the group nodding as Tracey speaks.

"This looks like more of a league stadium than a standard gym battlefield" Tracey says with the group nodding as Luana then looks at them and speaks.

"In my gym you'll have to take me on in a full 6v6 triple battle" Luana says as Ash speaks.

"A full 6v6 triple battle?" Ash says as Misty speaks.

"Looks like what Nemona said was true" Misty says with the others nodding as Leaf speaks.

"Wait but isn't there usually a challenge before Ash can face you? Because that's what happened at the other 3 gyms" Leaf asks as Luana speaks.

"True for the other 3 gyms that's the case but since I'm usually the final one there's no need for me to see if you're qualified to take me on as the challenger already getting/having 3 badges is enough proof for me" Luana responds with Leaf nodding as she then looks at Ash and speaks.

"Seeing as you've already received Danny's badge, I can assume that you already have a good grasp on how Triple Battles work?" Luana asks with Ash nodding as he speaks.

"Yep, and I've also been having my Pokémon train in sparring matches using the Triple Battle format" Ash says with Luana nodding as Ash speaks.

"So, when do we battle?" Ash asks as Luana thinks for a bit and speaks.

"How about tomorrow morning it'll give you time to think about what 6 Pokémon you want to use, and it'll also allow for you along with your friends to enjoy the hotel and its facilities" Luana says as Ash speaks.

"Well, I was hoping to have my gym battle today, but I don't mind waiting one more day" Ash says making his friends happy with Luana nodding as she speaks.

"That's great to hear. Well, I'll see you tomorrow morning for our gym battle Ash and Sebastian here will take you to your room" Luana says with the group nodding as she begins to leave Sebastian speaks.

"Please follow me" The man says with the group nodding as they begin to follow him. 10 minutes and an elevator ride later the group reach their room door as Sabastian speaks.

"Here's your deluxe suite" Sebastian says as he opens the door and when he does it showcases a large room. Inside the room there are 4 king-sized beds, a great window view, a big TV along with many other things. The group look at the room in awe as Sabastian speaks.

"I take it that you all like the room?" Sabastian asks with the 4 trainers nodding as Sabastian then speaks.

"That's great to hear now here are your key cards and please enjoy yourselves" Sabastian says as he hands them the key cards and then leaves. Once he's gone Leaf along with Misty's Togetic and Ash's Pikachu run and jump towards a nearby bed. When they do they bounce up then land back on the bed as Leaf speaks.

"This bed is so soft" Leaf says with Togetic and Pikachu agreeing. Misty then walks in the bathroom and sees just how big it is as she speaks.

"The bathroom's huge too" Misty says as Tracey walks over to the kitchen and is impressed by how clean and spotless everything is Ash then finds the TV remote and turns on the TV when he does, he sees just how beautiful the picture is and is amazed by it as Leaf speaks.

"This room is great!" Leaf says as she along with Togetic and Pikachu are rolling on the bed Misty speaks.

"You know I wonder what the other facilities are like?" Misty says as Tracey speaks.

"We should go check them out" Tracey says as Ash speaks.

"Okay guys let's go have some fun!" Ash says as he along with the others cheer. They then leave the room and begin walking around the hotel. As they're walking around Ash along with Pikachu visit the work out center, Leaf along with Misty and Togetic go to a massage room and get massages. Tracey visits an interpretive dance room where he observes how different kinds of Pokémon dance. After that the group then have some lunch at the hotel cafeteria that has an amazing selection of food which makes the group happy as they then begin to eat. Then once they're done eating, they continue walking around the hotel and visit many shops where Misty and Leaf buy a lot of accessories and clothes which in turn means that Ash, Tracey, Pikachu, and even Togetic have to carry their bags. They continue to walk around as they then head towards an indoor pool, Ash along with Pikachu and Tracey are already at the pool wearing swim trunks (No Pikachu isn't wearing swim trunks) and are waiting for Misty and Leaf. A couple seconds later the 2 girls along with Togetic appear as Misty (with her hair down) and Leaf are in one-piece swimsuits. Ash looks at Misty and blushes a little bit as they then begin to happily swim in the pool. Then after they're done swimming they just begin to hang out and we see Pikachu washing Togetic's back which makes the mon happy as Misty and Leaf watch them. Tracey watches too as he then looks at Ash who's currently thinking Tracey speaks.

"Are you thinking about who you want to use for your gym battle Ash?" Tracey asks with Ash nodding as he speaks.

"Yeah, coming up with only 3 Pokémon for a Triple Battle is easy but trying to think of another team of 3 is a bit difficult as I don't know what kind of Pokémon Luana will be using. Also, I know for sure that I'm using Pikachu for this battle so that's 1 out of 6." Ash says with Tracey nodding as he speaks.

"Well, I've heard rumors that Luana uses an Alakazam along with a Marowak but those are the only two I know about" Tracey says with Ash nodding as he speaks.

"In that case I could use a water type and dark type but no having any other idea on what Luana's other Pokémon are makes it difficult as she'll probably also use Pokémon that have the type advantage against mine." Ash says with the group nodding as Ash then continues to think. Ash continues to think more and more until his body overheats and he sinks to the bottom of the pool surprising his friends as they quickly get him out of the water. When they do Ash's laying on the floor with Pikachu along with Togetic waving fans at him to cool the boy down as Ash speaks.

"It feels like the world is spinning" Ash says as Leaf speaks.

"Geez Ash before the battle begins you might've already lost" Leaf says causing Misty along with Tracey to chuckle a little bit. After that Ash feels that he's cooled back down a little bit and speaks.

"True but thanks to that I now have the other 5 in mind" Ash says to himself as he stands back up Misty looks at him and speaks.

"So, Ash who are you going to use?" Misty asks as Ash looks at her and speaks.

"You'll see tomorrow" Ash responds as after that they all leave the pool. Ash tells the others that he'll meet up with them back at the hotel later as he along with Pikachu then head over to a video phone. When they make it, Ash dials the number calling Prof. Oak's lab, the phone rings 3 times as the old man appears on screen. Oak tells Ash happy belated birthday with Ash saying thank you as he then begins to tell Oak the Pokémon that he wants to use for his gym battle. Oak nods and gets the Pokémon ready. A few minutes later they do a transfer Ash tells Oak that he safely received the Pokémon with Oak saying the same thing. After that Ash ends the video call as he and Pikachu then go outside of the hotel and head towards the beach. When they make it to the beach Ash pulls out 5 Pokeball's and throws them high into the air releasing the 5 mons. Once the 5 mons appear Pikachu joins them, they all look at Ash as he speaks.

"Okay guys our final gym battle in the Orange Islands is tomorrow and it's a 6v6 triple battle. So, let's do some training tonight and win tomorrow!" Ash says with the 6-mons roaring in agreement as the training begins. Ash along with his Pokémon train for a couple hours then stop as Ash returns them (other than Pikachu) to their Pokeball's and Ash heads back inside the hotel. Ash and Pikachu make it back to the room he along with the others are staying in. After that they have some dinner delivered from room service and when they finish eating the group then get into their beds and go to sleep. It's now the next day and it's currently 10am in the morning. We now come to the gym stadium that Luana showed the group yesterday and see Ash along with Pikachu on one side while Luana is on the other. Both trainers have smiles on their faces and are excited to battle each other. Occupying the stands are Misty, Togetic, Leaf, and Tracey waiting for the battle to start. A couple seconds later the ref makes himself known and begins to speak.

"This is a 6v6 Triple Battle between the Kumquat Gym Leader Luana and the challenger Ash Ketchum of Pallet Town. Only the challenger is allowed to make substitutions and whoever knocks out all of their opponents Pokémon first will be declared the winner. Do both trainers understand these rules?" The ref asks with Luana and Ash nodding as the ref speaks.

"Now then will both trainers' please send out their first 3 Pokémon!" The ref says as Luana pulls out 3 Pokeball's and speaks.

"I hope you picked out your 6 Pokémon Ash because here are my first 3! Alakazam, Marowak, and Copperajah come out!" Luana says as she throws the 3 balls forward and sends out the 3 mons. The first ones to appear are an Alakazam and a Kantonian Marowak. The 3rd Pokémon to appear is a large elephant Pokémon who lands on the ground and lets out a mighty roar creating a shockwave. Then when the mon is done roaring it along with Alakazam and Marowak look forward waiting for their opponents as Ash begins to think.

"Looks like Tracey was right about her using Alakazam and Marowak but who's the other Pokémon?" Ash says to himself as he pulls out his Pokedex and begins to scan Copperajah.

"Copperajah The Copperderm Pokémon and a pure Steel Type. These Pokémon live in herds. Their trunks have incredible grip strength, strong enough to crush giant rocks into powder." The Pokedex says as in the stands Misty speaks.

"So, those are the 3 Pokémon Luana's using" Misty says as Tracey speaks.

"Ash's going to have a hard time with all 3 of them as they all seem to be very strong" Tracey says as Leaf speaks.

"Go! Ash!" "Togi!" Leaf along with Togetic cheer. Back on the battlefield Luana looks over at Ash speaks.

"So, Ash are you going to bring out your Pokémon? I know my Pokémon look intimidating but don't tell me that, that's enough for you to quit" Luana says as Ash looks at her and speaks.

"Oh, don't worry I was just thinking is all" Ash responds as Luana speaks.

"Thinking?" Luana asks with Ash nodding as he speaks.

"Yeah, I was just thinking about how good it'll feel once I win! Now! Riolu, Frogadier, and Rhyperior I choose you!" Ash says as he throws the 3 balls forward and sends out his Pokémon. When the 3 mons appear, they land on the battlefield and look forward seeing their opponents as Luana speaks.

"Interesting" Luana says while having a smile on her face as back in the stands Misty speaks.

"So, Ash's using Riolu, Frogadier, and Rhyperior," Misty says as Tracey speaks.

"In terms of typing Luana's Pokémon seem to have a slight advantage but it'll all come down to who has the better strategies." Tracey says with Misty nodding while Leaf and Togetic continue to cheer. Back on the battlefield Ash looks at Riolu, Frogadier, and Rhyperior then speaks.

"Guys this is it the final gym battle let's win!" "Pika!" Ash along with Pikachu say with the 3-mons nodding as they get into battle stances Luana speaks.

"You seem very confident that you're going to win well then, I guess I'll have to humble you a bit. Alakazam, Marowak, Copperajah get ready!" Luana says with the 3-mons nodding as they get into battle stances too. The 6 mons along with their trainers continue to look at each other in silence for a little bit until the ref speaks.

"Let the battle begin!" The ref calls as Luana speaks.

"Alakazam, Marowak go!" Luana calls with the two-mons nodding as they shoot forward Ash speaks.

"Riolu, Frogadier you run forward too!" Ash calls Riolu and Frogadier begin running forward as well. Just when the 4 mons are about to collide with each other Luana speaks.

"Copperajah use Flash Cannon and Alakazam, Marowak dodge!" Luana calls. Copperajah fires out a steel beam of energy out of its mouth. Alakazam along with Marowak see the Flash Cannon coming and quickly move out of the way. The beam is about to hit Riolu and Frogadier as Ash speaks.

"Rhyperior use Stone Edge! Riolu go after Alakazam and Frogadier go after Marowak!" Ash calls. Rhyperior lets out a mighty roar as she creates a large sharp stone and throws it forward causing it to collide with the Flash Cannon creating an explosion. This allows for Riolu to jump towards Alakazam while Frogadier jumps towards Marowak as Ash speaks.

"Riolu use Bullet Punch and Frogadier use Water Pulse!" Ash calls Riolu covers both of her fists in steel energy while Frogadier creates a ball of water with his right hand. The 2 mons go to hit their respective opponents as Luana speaks.

"Alakazam stop Riolu with Psychic and Marowak counter with Mega Punch!" Luana calls Alakazam quickly fires out the waves of psychic energy that connect with Riolu stopping her in place while Marowak's left fist glows and collides with Frogadier creating an explosion causing the 2 mons to slide away from each other. When that happens Frogadier manages to stop himself and looks at Marowak as Ash speaks.

"Frogadier use Hydro Pump!" "Alakazam send Riolu at Frogadier with Psychic!" Both trainers' call. Alakazam's eyes glow using more psychic energy and sends Riolu flying at a fast speed. Before Frogadier can fire the Hydro Pump Riolu crashes into him causing both mons to fall on the ground as Luana speaks.

"Now Marowak use Earth Power!" Luana calls Marowak slams its bone hard on the ground creating a large crack that heads for Riolu and Frogadier as Ash speaks.

"Use Double Team to dodge!" Ash calls as the 2 mons quickly create multiple clones of themselves and dodge the attack. Once they do Luana speaks.

"Copperajah use Iron Head!" Luana calls. Copperajah roars as it covers its head in steel energy and begins running towards the 2 mons as Ash speaks.

"Riolu, Frogadier dodge!" "Alakazam hold them in place with Psychic!" Both trainers' call. When Riolu and Frogadier are about to dodge Alakazam quickly fires the waves of psychic energy that connect with the 2-mons holding them in place. Now that they're restrained, they see Copperajah getting closer to them as Ash speaks.

"Rhyperior quick use Drill Run!" Ash calls Rhyperior quickly becomes a drill shoots forward and collides with Copperajah creating a shockwave. When that happens Copperajah tries its best to knock Rhyperior away, but Rhyperior easily overpowers Copperajah and pushes it away making the mon slide back a few feet. Rhyperior then looks over at Alakazam as Ash speaks.

"Rhyperior use Stone Edge!" "Alakazam dodge and Marowak use Focus Blast!" Both trainers' call. Rhyperior creates a large sharp stone and throws it at Alakazam. Alakazam quickly dodges the move by flying in the air causing its control on Riolu and Frogadier to come undone. Marowak then launches an orange ball of fighting energy that hits Rhyperior creating an explosion as the mon is sent flying a few feet away Ash speaks.

"Rhyperior are you okay?!" Ash asks with the mon nodding as she stands back up and when she does Luana speaks.

"Now Copperajah use Heavy Slam on Rhyperior!" Luana calls as Copperajah jumps towards Rhyperior its body glows in steel energy and goes to hit the mon as Ash speaks.

"Rhyperior use Dig to dodge and Riolu use Aura Sphere on Copperajah!" Ash calls Rhyperior quickly digs underground dodging Copperajah's attack as the mon slams its feet hard on the battlefield causing it to shake a little bit. When the shaking stops Riolu quickly forms a blue ball of fighting energy and sends it towards Copperajah as Luana speaks.

"Marowak use Bonemerang to knock it away!" Luana calls Marowak quickly throws its bone forward and intercepts the Aura Sphere easily knocking the move away as it hits a nearby wall instead. Marowak then gets its bone back as Ash speaks.

"Frogadier use Hydro Pump on Marowak!" Ash calls Frogadier jumps in the air takes a deep breath and fires out a large stream of water that heads for Marowak as Luana speaks.

"Use Bone Rush to deflect it!" Luana calls Marowak summons another bone from its left hand and begins to swing them against the Hydro Pump. Marowak keeps going until it completely destroys the move but suddenly Riolu appears in front of Marowak as Ash speaks.

"Riolu use Power-Up Punch then use Force Palm!" Ash calls before Luana can call for a command Riolu covers her left fist in orange fighting energy and upper cuts Marowak. Riolu feels her physical attack power increase as she then palms Marowak hard in the face with her right palm causing damage to Marowak and causing the mon to slide back a few feet away as Luana speaks.

"Marowak!" Luana calls in worry as Marowak groans in pain. Luana then looks at Ash's Riolu can calls for her next command.

"Alakazam use Psychic on Riolu!" "Rhyperior quick use Brutal Swing!" Both trainers' call. Alakazam's eyes glow and sends the psychic waves at Riolu. But unfortunately for Alakazam Rhyperior bursts out of the ground, covers her arms in dark energy and spins easily destroying the psychic attack. Luana isn't surprised as she calls for her next command.

"Copperajah use Flash Cannon on Rhyperior!" Luana calls before Ash can call for a command Copperajah quickly fires the steel beam at Rhyperior and hits the mon knocking her out of the air as she lands back on the ground. Alakazam then looks at the air born Frogadier as Luana speaks.

"Alakazam use Psychic on Frogadier then use Charge Beam!" Luana calls Alakazam fires the waves of psychic energy that connect with Frogadier holding the mon in place. Frogadier tries to break free but is unable to, he then looks forward and sees Alakazam sparking its body as it fires out an electric beam that heads for the frog. Back in the stands Tracey speaks.

"This is bad if that Charge Beam hits Frogadier he'll suffer super effective damage and Alakazam will also get a special attack increase" Tracey says while having a worried look on his face while Misty, Togetic, and Leaf continue to cheer on Ash and his Pokémon. Back to the battle the electric beam is getting closer and closer to Frogadier as Ash smiles and speaks.

"Sorry Luana but that's not going to work" Ash says making Luana confused as suddenly the electric beam turns to the left instead heading for Rhyperior. Once the electric beam makes contact with Rhyperior's horn it's then absorbed into it surprising Luana as she speaks.

"Your Rhyperior has the Lightening Rod ability?!" Luana says with Ash nodding as Misty speaks.

"What's Lightening Rod?" Misty asks as Tracey speaks.

"It's an ability where if a Pokémon fires an electric type move at their opponent with said ability, they'll not only not take any damage but also their special attack power increases" Tracey says with Misty nodding as Leaf speaks.

"That means that Luana now can't have any of her Pokémon use electric type moves while Rhyperior's on the field." Leaf says with Tracey and Misty nodding. Back on the battlefield Rhyperior can feel her special attack power increasing as Luana speaks.

"Alakazam may not be able to use electric type moves now but Alakazam does have something else. Use Energy Ball!" Luana calls Alakazam creates a green ball of grassy energy that goes to hit Frogadier as Ash speaks.

"Rhyperior quick intercept it with Stone Edge!" "Copperajah use Flash Cannon!" "Dodge Rhyperior!" Both trainers' call. When Rhyperior's about to use Stone Edge Copperajah fires out a steel beam that heads for Rhyperior, but the mon quickly dodges. Meanwhile, up in the air the Energy Ball continues heading for the still restrained Frogadier and is about to hit him as Ash smiles and speaks.

"Frogadier use Night Slash to break free then use Water Pulse!" Ash calls surprising Luana as Frogadier quickly creates 2 blades of dark energy from both of his hands and slashes the psychic energy that was holding him. Once Frogadier does that he dodges the Energy Ball then fires a Water Pulse that hits Alakazam in the face causing the mon to fall on the ground while Frogadier safely lands. Back in the stands Leaf speaks.

"I didn't know that Ash's Frogadier knew Night Slash" Leaf says as Misty speaks.

"He must've taught it to him last night since he knew about Luana having a Alakazam" Misty says with Leaf nodding. Back on the battlefield Frogadier looks at Alakazam as Ash speaks.

"Okay Frogadier use Night Slash again!" Ash calls Frogadier nods he creates two dark blades from his hands and begins running towards Alakazam as Luana speaks.

"Copperajah use Heavy Slam on Frogadier!" Luana calls Copperajah roars as it covers its body in steel energy and jumps forward going to land on Frogadier Ash speaks.

"Rhyperior quick intercept Copperajah and Frogadier keep running towards Alakazam!" Ash calls. Just when Copperajah's about to land on Frogadier Rhyperior appears and catches Copperajah. When that happens, the ground underneath Rhyperior cracks a little bit as she's holding onto Copperajah which allows for Frogadier to continue running towards Alakazam as Luana speaks.

"Marowak quick use Focus Blast on Frogadier!" "Riolu use Bullet Punch!" Both trainers' call. When Marowak goes to use the move Riolu's fists glow in steel energy as she shoots forward and reaches Marowak instantly. Riolu punches Marowak hard in the face 5 times causing damage to the mon and making it slide back a few feet away. Frogadier continues running towards Alakazam as Luana speaks.

"Alakazam use Energy Ball to knock Frogadier away!" Luana calls Alakazam stands back up, floats in the air and begins firing multiple green balls of grassy energy as Ash speaks.

"Frogadier cut them with Night Slash then jump towards Alakazam and use Aerial Ace!" Ash calls. Frogadier begins to easily cut through the Energy Ball's with Night Slash. Once Frogadier gets rid of the last one he jumps high into the air and reaches Alakazam. Before Luana can tell Alakazam to dodge Frogadier's fists along with his feet glow in blue flying energy as he begins to punch/kick Alakazam repeatedly. Frogadier continues to do that until he punches Alakazam hard in the face one more time with his left fist and sends the mon crashing down on the ground creating a dust cloud. When the dust clears Alakazam's groaning in pain then looks up and sees Frogadier falling towards it as Ash speaks.

"This is it Frogadier use Night Slash!" "Alakazam quick use Psychic to knock Frogadier away!" Both trainers' call. Unfortunately for Luana Alakazam's unable to use Psychic in time as Frogadier summons two blades of dark energy and slashes Alakazam appearing behind the mon. Alakazam groans in pain from the super effective attack as it then lays on the ground knocked out the ref makes the call.

"Alakazam's unable to battle Frogadier's the winner!" The ref calls making Ash smile as he speaks.

"Way to go Frogadier!" "Pika!" Ash cheers along with Pikachu as the frog looks at them and smiles. Luana's surprised that Alakazam lost but then quickly recomposes herself as she looks at her other Pokémon and speaks.

"Copperajah add more power to the Heavy Slam and Marowak use Bone Rush on Riolu!" Luana calls Copperajah roars increasing the power of its Heavy Slam and making it more difficult for Rhyperior. Marowak summons another bone in its left hand and shoots forward going to hit Riolu as Ash speaks.

"Rhyperior throw Copperajah away and Riolu use Double Team to dodge!" Ash calls. Just when Copperajah's about to overpower Rhyperior the drill Pokémon roars and manages to successfully throw Copperajah a few feet away making it land on the ground. Over with Riolu when Marowak goes to hit her she quickly creates multiple clones of herself and dodges the attack. The clones surround Marowak as Luana speaks.

"Marowak get rid of them with Bonemerang!" Luana calls Marowak, nods and throws its bone as it manages to destroy all of Riolu's clones easily. Once all of the clones are gone Marowak catches its bone and doesn't see the real Riolu. Unbeknownst to Marowak Riolu's right behind it and has her hands together as Luana speaks.

"Marowak Riolu's behind you hit it with Bone Rush!" "Too late! Riolu use Aura Sphere!" Both trainers' call. When Marowak turns around it doesn't have time to attack as Riolu fires a point-blank Aura Sphere at Marowak creating an explosion. Marowak appears out of the explosion and is high in the air as Ash speaks.

"Riolu use Power-Up Punch!" "Marowak Dodge!" Both trainers' call. Riolu quickly jumps in the air and reaches Marowak instantly. Marowak is unable to dodge as Riolu's right fist is covered in orange fighting energy and punches Marowak hard in the stomach sending it crashing back down on the battlefield as Luana speaks.

"Marowak!" Luana calls in worry as Riolu lands back on the ground and can feel her physical attack power increase. When the dust clears Marowak's lying on its back knocked out as the ref speaks.

"Marowak's unable to battle Riolu's the winner!" The ref calls as Ash speaks.

"Good job Riolu!" "Pika!" Ash along with Pikachu cheer with Riolu smiling. Luana has a surprised look on her face as she then looks over at Copperajah and speaks.

"Copperajah use Flash Cannon!" Luana calls Copperajah fires out a steel beam that goes to hit Rhyperior as Ash speaks.

"Rhyperior use Dig to dodge!" Ash calls Rhyperior quickly digs underground and avoids the steel beam. Copperajah can feel something underneath it as Luana speaks.

"Copperajah dodge then use Iron Head!" Luana calls. Copperajah quickly jumps back as Rhyperior bursts from the ground missing her attack. When Copperajah lands it covers its head in steel energy then begins running towards Rhyperior as Ash speaks.

"Rhyperior counter with Scorching Sands!" Ash calls. Rhyperior roars as she summons a ball of sand from the ground then punches it forward with her right fist causing it to collide with Copperajah creating an explosion. Out of the explosion appears Copperajah who's sent sliding back a few feet and is groaning in pain as Ash speaks.

"Now Rhyperior use Drill Run!" Ash calls Rhyperior roars as she becomes a drill and shoots forward heading for Copperajah as Luana speaks.

"Copperajah blow Rhyperior away with Flash Cannon!" Luana calls and when Copperajah's about to fire the steel beam the mon suddenly catches on fire. Luana has a surprised look on her face as in the stands Misty speaks.

"Wait but Rhyperior didn't use any fire type moves how did Copperajah get burned?" Misty questions as Tracey speaks.

"Whenever Scorching Sands lands on an opposing Pokémon, it has a 30% chance of causing burn" Tracey says with Misty nodding as Leaf speaks.

"Go! Ash!" "Togi!" Leaf along with Togetic cheer as back on the battlefield Copperajah continues to cry out in pain from the burn damage as Luana speaks.

"Copperajah hear my voice and dodge!" "Not so fast! Do it Rhyperior!" Both trainers' call as Rhyperior roars and crashes into Copperajah creating an explosion as Luana speaks.

"Copperajah!" Luana calls in worry as when the smoke clears everyone can see Ash's Rhyperior standing over an unconscious Copperajah. The ref then makes the call.

"Copperajah's unable to battle Rhyperior's the winner!" The ref calls as Ash speaks.

"Way to go Rhyperior!" "Pika!" Ash along with Pikachu cheer as Rhyperior looks at them and smiles. Riolu and Frogadier then walk over to Rhyperior. The 3 mons look at each other smile and give each other a high five. Back in the stands Leaf speaks.

"They did it!" "Togi!" Leaf along with Togetic cheer happily as Misty speaks.

"Ash was able to beat her first 3 Pokémon" Misty says as Tracey speaks.

"Yeah, and I have a feeling that the battle's going to get a lot harder from here" Tracey says with Misty nodding as back on the battlefield Luana returns Copperajah, Marowak, and Alakazam back to their Pokeball's. She then tells the 3 mons thank you and puts the balls away. Luana then looks forward and speaks.

"Not bad Ash I can see why you were able to beat the other 3 gym leaders" Luana says with Ash nodding as Luana continues to speak.

"But don't think that just because you beat my first 3 Pokémon means that you're going to win!" Luana says as she pulls out 3 Pokeball's and goes to throw them forward.

"Druddigon, Bewear, and Clefable come out!" Luana says as she throws the 3 balls forward and sends out the mons. When the 3 mons appear they all have serious looks on their faces as back in the stands Misty speaks.

"So, those are her final 3 Pokémon" Misty says as Tracey speaks.

"They all look strong" Tracey says with Misty nodding as Leaf speaks.

"Go! Ash!" "Togi!" Leaf along with Togetic continue to cheer as back on the battlefield Ash looks at Luana's 3 mons and can feel how strong they are. Ash then looks over at his Pokémon and speaks.

"Riolu, Frogadier, and Rhyperior I'm still keeping you in!" Ash says with the 3-mons nodding as they get into battle stances with Luana's Pokémon doing the same. The ref calls for the battle to continue as Ash speaks.

"Riolu use Bullet Punch on Clefable, Frogadier use Water Pulse on Druddigon, and Rhyperior use Scorching Sands on Bewear!" Ash calls Riolu's fists glow in steel energy and shoots forward while Frogadier along with Rhyperior fire their attacks at their respective opponent. When Riolu makes it in front of Clefable she goes to punch it as Luana speaks.

"Clefable use Protect and Bewear, Druddigon knock the Water Pulse and Scorching Sand away!" Luana calls Clefable quickly summons a protective barrier and blocks Riolu's attack as she's then bounced away. Bewear along with Druddigon manage to easily knock the Water Pulse and Scorching Sand moves away as Luana speaks.

"Druddigon use Aerial Ace on Riolu!" Luana calls Druddigon, shoots forward and heads for Riolu as Ash speaks.

"Riolu quick use Double Team to dodge and Frogadier use Night Slash!" Ash calls when Druddigon goes to hit Riolu the aura puppy quickly creates multiple clones of herself and dodges the attack as she safely lands on the ground. Frogadier then jumps in the air, creates a dark blade with his right hand and goes to hit Druddigon as Luana speaks.

"Counter with Dragon Claw and Bewear use Mega Punch!" Luana calls Druddigon covers its left claws in green dragon energy and collides with Frogadier. Frogadier tries his best to push the dragon away, but Druddigon manages to overpower Frogadier, sending the mon towards the battlefield. As Frogadier's falling Bewear shoots forward its right fist glows and goes to punch Frogadier as Ash speaks.

"Rhyperior block!" Ash calls Rhyperior quickly jumps forward brings up her arms and blocks Bewear's punch. Frogadier safely lands on the ground and moves out of the way. As Rhyperior continues to block Bewear's punch the bear has its left fist ready as Luana speaks.

"Bewear use Hammer Arm!" "Rhyperior counter with your Hammer Arm!" Both trainers' call. Bewear's left fist glows white while Rhyperior's right fist glows white the 2-mons roar as their fists collide. When they do there's a big shockwave that causes both mons to slide away from each other as Luana speaks.

"Druddigon use Flash Cannon on Rhyperior!" Luana calls. Druddigon fires the steel beam at Rhyperior as Ash speaks.

"Rhyperior use Dig to dodge and Riolu use Aura Sphere on Druddigon!" Ash calls Rhyperior quickly digs underground and dodges the Flash Cannon as it hits the battlefield. Riolu then fires a blue ball of fighting energy at Druddigon as Luana speaks.

"Druddigon knock it away with Dragon Claw and Clefable use Moonblast on Riolu!" Luana calls. Druddigon covers its right claws in green dragon energy and slashes the Aura Sphere easily destroying it. Clefable then creates a pink orb of fairy energy and throws it at Riolu as Ash speaks.

"Frogadier use Cut on the Moonblast!" Ash calls Frogadier, shoots forward, creates a white blade from his right hand and easily cuts the Moonblast in two causing the two halves to fall on the battlefield creating an explosion. When that happens, Luana calls for her next command.

"Bewear use Giga Impact on Frogadier!" "Rhyperior use Hammer Arm on Bewear!" "Druddigon use Dragon Rush on Rhyperior!" Luana calls Bewear covers its body in an orange sphere with purple streaks and shoots forward heading for Frogadier. Suddenly Rhyperior appears from out of the ground and goes to collide with Bewear using Hammer Arm. But Rhyperior gets hit in the face by Druddigon and is sent a few feet away. This allows for Bewear to hit Frogadier and send the mon flying as he crashes into the wall behind Ash the boy looks back and speaks.

"Frogadier!" Ash calls in worry as Luana speaks.

"Should you really be worrying about your Frogadier? Bewear use Drain Punch on Riolu!" "Riolu use Double Team to dodge then use Aura Sphere!" Both trainers' call. Bewear's right fist glows and goes to punch Riolu but the aura puppy quickly creates multiple clones of herself and dodges the attack. Riolu along with her clones then fire multiple Aura Sphere's at Bewear as Luana speaks.

"Bewear knock them all away with Brutal Swing!" Luana calls. Bewear covers its arms in dark energy and spins around easily knocking away all of the Aura Sphere's along with Riolu's clones. Bewear then sees the real Riolu as Luana speaks.

"Bewear grab Riolu!" "Riolu dodge!" Both trainers' call. Bewear shoots forward going to grab Riolu but the aura puppy dodges. When she does Druddigon suddenly appears behind Riolu as Luana speaks.

"Druddigon use Aqua Tail and Bewear use Hammer Arm!" "Riolu look out and Rhyperior use Drill Run on Bewear!" Clefable use Grass Knot!" Both trainers' call. Druddigon covers its tail in water and hits Riolu hard in the back knocking her towards Bewear. Rhyperior notices this and when she goes to help Riolu Clefable summons a grassy knot that causes Rhyperior to trip causing super effective damage. Now that Rhyperior can't help Riolu Bewear covers its right arm in fighting energy and uppercuts Riolu sending her high into the air as Luana speaks.

"Now Clefable use Moonblast!" Luana calls. Before Ash can call for a command Clefable fires a pink orb of fairy energy at Riolu which connects and creates an explosion as Ash speaks.

"Riolu!" Ash calls in worry as the mon falls back on the battlefield Luana calls for her next command.

"Druddigon use Aqua Tail on Rhyperior!" "Rhyperior dodge!" Both trainers' call. Druddigon flies over to Rhyperior and goes to hit her with its tail but the mon dodges. Suddenly Bewear appears on Rhyperior's left side as Luana speaks.

"Bewear use Drain Punch and Clefable use Magical Leaf!" Luana calls. Bewear's right fist glows and punches Rhyperior hard in the face. After that Clefable fires out multiple leaves that hit Rhyperior causing super effective damage to the mon as Luana speaks.

"Druddigon use Flash Cannon!" "Rhyperior look out!" Both trainers' call. Rhyperior's unable to dodge in time as Druddigon fires the steel beam at Rhyperior and hits her creating an explosion as Ash speaks.

"Rhyperior!" Ash calls in worry as when the dust clears Rhyperior's laying on her back knocked out. We then go over to Riolu who's laying on her stomach and is knocked out. Next, we go over to Frogadier who's stuck in a wall and is knocked out too as the ref speaks.

"Frogadier, Riolu, and Rhyperior are all unable to battle!" The ref calls making Luana smile while Ash along with his friends have surprised looks on their faces as Leaf speaks.

"Her Pokémon took out Riolu, Frogadier, and Rhyperior easily" Leaf says as Tracey speaks.

"The way she had her Pokémon coordinate their attacks to take out Ash's Pokémon one by one was surprising it's no wonder why she's a gym leader" Tracey says as Misty speaks.

"And now Ash has only 3 Pokémon left" Misty says with Tracey, Leaf, and Togetic nodding. Back on the battlefield Ash's still surprised but then pulls out the 3 mons Pokeball's and returns them. Once he does that Ash looks at the Pokeball's and speaks.

"Riolu, Frogadier, and Rhyperior thank you for giving it you're all in this battle and take a good rest" Ash says as he puts the 3 balls away Luana speaks.

"Your Riolu, Frogadier, and Rhyperior were strong Ash and did well working together but my Pokémon were the better team in the end." Luana says as Ash speaks.

"Yeah, you're right about that and my next 3 will take down you Pokémon!" Ash says while holding 2 Pokeball's in his hands as he goes to throw them.

"Pikachu, Charizard and Gabite I Choose You!" Ash says as he throws the 2 balls forward while Pikachu jumps forward. Charizard along with Gabite appear from their Pokeball's and they along with Pikachu land on the battlefield. When they do they look forward and have serious looks on their faces as Luana speaks.

"Hmmm they look strong" Luana says while having a smile on her face as Ash speaks.

"Thanks, and they're going to win!" Ash says with the 3-mons nodding making Luana smile. After that both trainers Pokémon look at each other and get into battle stances. They continue to look at each other as the ref speaks.

"This is the final battle both trainers have 3 Pokémon left! Whoever defeats all of their opponents Pokémon first will be declared the winner! Now if both trainers are ready let the battle continue!" The ref says as everyone looks at the battlefield and see Ash, Luana and their Pokémon continue to stare at each other. They continue to look at each other until a piece of rubble slightly moves on the battlefield Ash speaks.

"Pikachu use Thunderbolt on Clefable, Charizard use Flamethrower on Bewear, and Gabite use Dragon Pulse on Druddigon!" Ash calls with the 3-mons nodding as they fire their moves that head for their respective opponent Luana speaks.

"Clefable use Protect then Calm Mind, Bewear use Giga Impact, and Druddigon use Hyper Beam!" Luana calls with the 3-mons nodding. Clefable summons a protective barrier blocking the Thunderbolt then begins raising its special attack/defense. Bewear covers its body in an orange sphere with purple streaks, shoots forward and is easily going through the stream of fire. Druddigon fires out a large orange beam that connects with the Dragon Pulse creating an explosion. When that happens Bewear continues going forward heading for Charizard as Ash speaks.

"Charizard stop Bewear and hold it in place! Then Pikachu, Gabite use Thunderbolt and Dragon Pulse!" Ash calls with the 3-mons nodding. Pikachu along with Gabite quickly move out of the way and position themselves while Charizard readies himself by putting his hands forward. A couple seconds later Bewear collides with Charizard. When that happens Bewear begins trying to push Charizard back, but the fire lizard stands strong not going anywhere and continues to keep Bewear in place. Pikachu along with Gabite then fire their attacks that head towards Bewear as Luana speaks.

"Clefable use Moonblast, Druddigon use Hyper Beam, and Bewear back away!" Luana calls as Clefable along with Druddigon fire their attacks that intercept the Thunderbolt along with the Dragon Pulse creating an explosion along with a cloud of smoke that covers the whole battlefield. Inside the cloud of smoke Bewear manages to back away from Charizard and hides itself in the cloud of smoke as Ash speaks.

"Pikachu, Charizard, and Gabite listen to their footsteps and dodge their attacks!" Ash says with the 3-mons nodding as they begin to listen. A few seconds later the 3-mons continue to wait for Luana's Pokémon's footsteps but don't hear anything making Ash's Pokémon along with Ash himself frustrated as he speaks.

"Okay Charizard, Gabite fly in the air and Pikachu use Extreme Speed to get out of the cloud of smoke!" Ash calls with the 3-mons nodding as Charizard along with Gabite fly high in the air getting out of the smoke with Pikachu jumping high in the air with Extreme Speed. When that happens, Luana smiles and speaks.

"Druddigon use Aqua Tail on Charizard!" Luana calls as suddenly Druddigon appears and slams its water covered tail hard on Charizard's head sending the fire lizard back inside the cloud of smoke. Before Charizard hits the battlefield Bewear appears as Luana speaks.

"Now Bewear use Giga Impact!" Luana calls. Before Ash can call for a command Bewear covers its body in an orange sphere with purple streaks shoots forward and rams its left shoulder hard into Charizard's stomach. The fire lizard coughs in pain as he's sent out of the cloud of smoke and is sent crashing on the battlefield a few feet away landing on his back as Ash speaks.

"Charizard!" Ash calls in worry while the fire lizard groans in pain. Up in the air Druddigon looks at Pikachu as Luana speaks.

"Druddigon use Superpower on Pikachu!" "Pikachu block with Iron Tail and Gabite use Dragon Rush on Druddigon!" Both trainers' call. Druddigon's body bulks up and gains a red outline. Druddigon then goes to hit Pikachu with its right fist, but the yellow mouse quickly covers his tail in steel energy and blocks the attack. When that happens Gabite covers his body in dragon energy and flies forward going to hit Druddigon as Luana speaks.

"Clefable intercept with Moonblast!" Luana calls as Clefable quickly fires a pink orb of fairy energy that collides with Gabite creating an explosion knocking the mon out of the sky. Gabite then falls back on the battlefield landing on his stomach groaning in pain. Up in the air Pikachu continues blocking Druddigon's right fist and as he continues to do that Pikachu notices that Druddigon has its mouth opened as Luana speaks.

"Hyper Beam Druddigon!" Pikachu quick counter with Thunder!" Both trainers' call. Druddigon fires out a large orange beam while Pikachu fires out a large electric bolt causing the two attacks to collide creating an explosion. Out of the explosion Druddigon flies back a few feet away while Pikachu lands on the battlefield and when he does Bewear's standing over him as Luana speaks.

"Bewear use Mega Punch!" "Pikachu dodge then use Thunder times 5!" Both trainers' call. Bewear's right fist glows and goes to punch Pikachu but the yellow mouse quickly jumps back as Bewear punches the ground causing it to crack a little bit. Once Pikachu lands a few feet away he then fires 5 large electric bolts that head for Bewear as Luana speaks.

"Bewear use Brutal Swing to knock them away and Druddigon use Flash cannon on Pikachu!" Luana calls. When the 5 Thunders go to hit Bewear the mon covers both of its hands in dark energy and spins around easily knocking the 5 electric bolts away. Up in the air Druddigon fires out a steel beam that heads for Pikachu as Ash speaks.

"Pikachu dodge then use Extreme Speed on Druddigon!" Ash calls with the yellow mouse nodding as he quickly jumps back avoiding the Flash Cannon. Pikachu lands a few feet away and when he's about to shoot forward Luana speaks.

"Clefable use Grass Knot!" Luana calls as Clefable quickly summons a grassy knot in front of Pikachu who gets his foot in the knot causing him to trip. When that happens Bewear appears in front of Pikachu and has its left foot ready as Luana speaks.

"Use Mega Kick!" Luana calls and before Ash can call for a command Bewear kicks Pikachu hard in the face with its left foot. Pikachu's sent flying until he crash lands next to Charizard and Gabite creating a dust cloud. When the dust clears it showcases the 3-mons groaning in pain. Meanwhile, on Luana's side of the battlefield we see Druddigon stand next to Bewear and Clefable while Luana has a smile on her face. In the stands Leaf speaks.

"Whoa her team combinations with her Pokémon are really good" Leaf says as Tracey speaks.

"In order for Ash to win he needs to somehow disrupt that" Tracey says with Leaf nodding as they along with Misty and Togetic continue to watch the battle. Back on the battlefield Ash's Pokémon continue to groan in pain as Ash begins to think.

"Man, I knew that Luana was going to be good at Triple Battles, but I didn't think she'd be this good Nemona was right about me needing to get better at Triple Battles." Ash says to himself as Luana speaks.

"Don't tell me your Pokémon are done yet Ash" Luana says as Ash looks at her and speaks.

"Don't worry we're not done in fact we've finally warmed up! Right guys?!" Ash says as Pikachu along with Charizard and Gabite stand back up and agree with Ash. Luana has a smile on her face as she speaks.

"I'm glad to see that your Pokémon can still battle because usually after doing a combination like that most challengers Pokémon are knocked out" Luana says as Ash speaks.

"Well, my Pokémon aren't like other challengers Pokémon as they're made of much different stuff and will win this battle!" Ash states with the 3-mons roaring in agreement as Luana smiles and speaks.

"Okay then I want you to show me" Luana says with her Pokémon getting into battle stances Ash begins to think.

"Even though I said all of that Luana's Pokémon are still tough to beat especially while fighting together" Ash says to himself as when he continues to think he gets an idea and speaks.

"Yeah, that could work" Ash says to himself as he looks at his Pokémon and speaks.

"Pikachu, Charizard, and Gabite I just thought of a good idea so hang in there!" Ash says with the 3-mons nodding as Luana speaks.

"Looks like you've figured something out, so my Pokémon and I better take you down before you get a chance to use it. Clefable use Calm Mind and Bewear, Druddigon run forward!" Luana calls Clefable begins to calm its mind raising its special attack/defense while Bewear and Druddigon shoot forward heading for Ash's Pokémon as Ash speaks.

"Pikachu use Wild Charge on Bewear and Gabite use Dragon Rush on Druddigon!" Ash calls. The 2 mons shoot forward Pikachu covers his body in electricity while Gabite covers his body in dragon energy and begin heading for their respective targets as Luana speaks.

"So, you're coming at us head on huh? Well that works for us. Bewear use Mega Punch on Pikachu and Druddigon use Dragon Claw on Gabite!" Luana calls with the two-mons nodding and when they're about to collide with the Pikachu and Gabite Ash smirks and speaks.

"Pikachu use Double Team to dodge and Gabite do a sharp turn to the left and hit Bewear!" Ash calls surprising Luana as when Bewear goes to punch Pikachu with its right fist the yellow mouse quickly creates multiple copies of himself and dodges the attack. Druddigon's about to collide with Gabite but the land shark quickly turns left and hits Bewear hard in the face causing damage to the mon as Luana speaks.

"Clefable use Moonblast on Gabite!" "Pikachu use Extreme Speed then Iron Tail on Clefable!" Both trainers' call. When Clefable's about to use Moonblast Pikachu shoots forward at blinding speed covers his tail in steel energy and hits Clefable hard in the stomach making the mon cough in pain as it's then sent sliding a few feet away. Clefable can feel that its physical defense has decreased then looks over at Pikachu who has a smile on his face as Luana speaks.

"Bewear use Drain Punch on Gabite!" "Gabite dodge!" Both trainers' call. Bewear goes to punch Gabite with its right fist but the land shark quickly flies in the air and dodges the attack. Once Gabite's in the air Druddigon begins flying towards the mon and has its claws ready as Luana speaks.

"Druddigon use Dragon Claw on Gabite!" Luana calls. Druddigon covers its claws in green dragon energy and goes to hit Gabite as Ash speaks.

"Now Charizard use Dragon Pulse!" Ash calls as Charizard roars and fires out a large purple draconic beam that hits Druddigon creating an explosion as Luana speaks.

"Druddigon!" Luana calls in worry as out of the explosion appears Druddigon who falls back on the battlefield landing on its stomach groaning in pain as Ash calls for his next command.

"Gabite use Brick Break on Bewear!" Ash calls before Luana can call for a command Gabite quickly flies down his right claw glows white and chops Bewear hard on the head causing the mon to fall face first on the battlefield. After that Bewear's groaning in pain as Ash speaks.

"Nice it worked!" Ash says happily as Luana speaks.

"What worked?" Luana asks as Ash speaks.

"You see since Clefable, Bewear, and Druddigon work well as a team I was trying to think of a way to disrupt their coordination. And after thinking I thought the best way was to separate them from each other." Ash responds as back in the stands Tracey speaks.

"I see so by separating Luana's Pokémon from each other it allowed for Ash's Pokémon to attack each one and also make sure that they're not able to help their teammates" Tracey says with Misty and Leaf nodding as they along with Togetic continue cheering on Ash and his Pokémon. Back on the battlefield Luana has a surprised look on her face but then smiles and speaks.

"I must say Ash that was pretty smart of you but don't think that my Pokémon will stay down because we also have a surprise as well" Luana says making Ash curious as Luana speaks.

"Clefable use Life Dew!" Luana calls surprising Ash as Clefable sends out a mysterious water that heals not only itself but also its allies. The 3-mons glow green for a few seconds as their injuries go away, Bewear along with Druddigon stand back up and feel refreshed. They along with Clefable then look at Ash's Pokémon with Ash along with his Pokémon having surprised looks on their faces as in the stands Tracey speaks.

"This isn't good now that it's been revealed that Clefable has Life Dew no matter how much Ash damages Luana's Pokémon they'll be able to heal" Tracey says as Misty speaks.

"Meaning that Ash will need to take down Clefable first so that it won't be able to heal its teammates" Misty says with Tracey nodding as Leaf speaks.

"Go! Ash!" Leaf cheers along with Togetic. Back on the battlefield Ash's gritting his teeth as Luana speaks.

"Looks like I ruined that little plan of yours and now I'm curious to see what you'll do next" Luana says as Ash speaks.

"Don't worry because I'll show you. Pikachu use Extreme Speed then Iron Tail on Clefable!" Ash calls Pikachu shoots forward at blinding speed going to hit Clefable as Luana speaks.

"Use Protect Clefable!" Luana says as the mon quickly summons a protective barrier causing Pikachu to hit it as he's then bounced away. Pikachu's sent flying high into the air as Luana speaks.

"Druddigon use Dragon Claw on Pikachu!" "Charizard use Dragon Pulse on Druddigon!" "Clefable intercept with Moonblast!" "Gabite use Metal Claw on the Moonblast!" "Bewear grab Gabite!" Both trainers' call. Druddigon flies after Pikachu and covers its claws in green dragon energy. Charizard fires out a large purple draconic beam that heads for Druddigon while Clefable launches a pink orb of fairy energy that goes to collide with the Dragon Pulse. Gabite's about to intercept the Moonblast with Metal Claw but Bewear quickly wraps its arms around Gabite and holds onto the mon tightly. This allows for the Moonblast to connect with the Dragon Pulse and go through the attack as it's now heading for Charizard and Druddigon continues heading for Pikachu as Ash speaks.

"Charizard use Fire Punch to punch the Moonblast at Bewear and Pikachu use Thunder on Druddigon!" Ash calls Charizard covers his right fist in fire and punches the Moonblast sending it towards Bewear. Pikachu sees Druddigon coming and fires a large electric bolt that heads for the mon as Luana speaks.

"Bewear throw Gabite towards the Moonblast and Druddigon use Dragon Claw to block the Thunder!" Luana calls. Bewear quickly throws Gabite at the incoming Moonblast while Druddigon quickly brings up its claws and blocks the Thunder as the move pushes it down on the ground. We now cut over to Gabite who's about to come into contact with the Moonblast as Ash speaks.

"Gabite use Metal Claw and throw the Moonblast at Bewear!" Ash calls just when Gabite's about to collide with the Moonblast he quickly covers both of his claws in steel energy and catches the Moonblast. Gabite then throws the pink orb at Bewear as Luana speaks.

"Bewear knock it away!" Luana calls as Bewear swings out its right arm and deflects the Moonblast sending it crashing into a nearby wall Ash speaks.

"Now Gabite use Sand Tomb!" Ash calls Gabite lets out a roar as he summons a tomb of sand underneath Bewear causing the mon to fall in. Inside the tomb of sand Bewear begins to struggle as Ash speaks.

"Gabite use Dragon Rush then Rock Smash!" Ash calls Gabite roars as he covers his body in dragon energy and begins heading for Bewear as Luana speaks.

"Clefable quick use Moonblast!" "Pikachu, Charizard use Thunderbolt and Flamethrower!" Both trainers' call. Clefable quickly fires a pink orb of fairy energy at Gabite while Pikachu and Charizard fire their attacks that combine into one. The combined Thunderbolt and Flamethrower easily destroy the Moonblast and head for Clefable as Luana speaks.

"Clefable use Protect!" Luana calls. Clefable quickly summons a protective barrier and blocks the combined attack. After that we come over to Gabite he covers both of his claws in red fighting energy and is getting closer to Bewear as Ash speaks.

"Do it Gabite!" Ash calls with Gabite roaring and when he's about to hit Bewear Luana smiles and speaks.

"Druddigon use Dragon Rush!" Luana calls as suddenly out of the sand appears Druddigon whose body is covered in dragon energy and hits Gabite surprising Ash. Druddigon pushes Gabite high into the air and sends the mon crashing hard into the ceiling causing damage to the land shark as Luana speaks.

"Now use Dragon Claw!" Luana calls. Before Ash can call for a command Druddigon covers its left claws in green dragon energy and jabs Gabite hard in the stomach. Gabite coughs in pain as he's then sent crashing back down on the battlefield creating an explosion along with a cloud of dust as Ash speaks.

"Gabite!" Ash calls in worry as when the dust clears, we see Gabite laying on his stomach groaning in pain. A couple seconds later Bewear manages to get itself out of the Sand Tomb as it along with Druddigon stand next to Clefable as Ash speaks.

"I don't get it when did Druddigon get underground?" Ash questions as Luana speaks.

"When your Pikachu's Thunder pushed Druddigon back into the battlefield I had him use Dig then wait as I knew that you'd have one of your Pokémon get close to his teammates. I was originally going to have Druddigon attack Pikachu, but Gabite works too, and it seems like it can barely battle now" Luana says as Ash looks at Gabite and sees the mon groaning in pain. Ash then looks forward and speaks.

"That may be the case but we're not giving up! Pikachu, Charizard let's do this!" Ash says with the 2-mons roaring while Luana smiles. The 2 trainers then call for their commands as the 5-mons shoot forward and continue their battle. Back in the stands Tracey speaks.

"It's now 2 against 3 Ash's at a big disadvantage" Tracey says while having a worried look on his face as Misty and Leaf speak.

"Go! Ash!" "Keep fighting!" "Togi!" Misty along with Leaf and Togetic continue to cheer on Ash along with Pikachu and Charizard. We now go over to Gabite who's still groaning in pain. He looks forward and sees Pikachu along with Charizard continuing to fight Luana's Pokémon but are having trouble as its 3 against 2. Gabite wants to continue battling but feels as though the way he is now he won't be much help. Gabite doesn't want to give up he wants to continue battling and help his trainer along with his teammates win this battle. Gabite begins struggling to stand up. He continues to struggle until a few seconds later he fully stands back up. Gabite then begins to feel draconic energy building up in his stomach, Ash notices as he looks forward and speaks.

"Pikachu, Charizard back away and Gabite use Draco Meteor!" Ash calls Pikachu along with Charizard quickly back away as Gabite lets out a mighty roar and shoots out a big purple dragon orb high into the air. A couple seconds later the orb then bursts sending out multiple large purple meteors that head for Luana's Pokémon as she speaks.

"Clefable use Protect and Bewear, Druddigon get behind Clefable!" Luana calls with the 3-mons nodding. Clefable quickly summons a protective barrier, Bewear along with Druddigon quickly get behind Clefable as the Draco Meteors then land on the battlefield creating multiple explosions. The Draco Meteors continue to fall until a few seconds later they stop as there's now a big cloud of smoke covering the entire battlefield Misty speaks.

"Did that work?" Misty questions as she along with the others continue looking at the battlefield. Back on the battlefield the smoke clears showcasing the destroyed battlefield along with Ash's and Luana's Pokémon. Clefable brings down the barrier showcasing that neither it nor Bewear or Druddigon took any damage from the Draco Meteor making Ash along with his Pokémon grit their teeth as Luana speaks.

"I must say Ash I wasn't expecting that Draco Meteor, but it looks like it failed" Luana says as Ash speaks.

"True but my Pokémon and I aren't going to give up until we win that badge!" Ash states with Pikachu along with Charizard roaring in agreement. Meanwhile, with Gabite he's panting even though he put a lot of power into that Draco Meteor he's mad that it didn't do anything to Luana's Pokémon. Gabite continues to pant, he feels more and more power welling up inside of him as he roars.

"GABITEEEEE!" Gabite lets out a mighty roar as he then glows a bright white and begins to evolve. Everyone has surprised looks on their faces as Ash speaks.

"Gabite's evolving!" Ash says while having an excited look on his face as he along with everyone continue to watch Gabite change. Gabite grows taller, his tail grows longer, and he continues to change more and more until the light of evolution disappears. Once the light disappears what was once a Gabite is now a Garchomp who roars.

"GARRRRRRR!" Garchomp lets out a mighty roar creating a big shockwave that shakes the battlefield showcasing his power. Once Garchomp stops roaring he then looks forward and has a serious look on his face. Everyone has surprised looks on their faces as Misty speaks.

"Ash's Garchomp evolved" Misty says as Leaf speaks.

"So! Cool!" Leaf says with stars in her eyes as Tracey speaks.

"I'm guessing that he felt as though he wasn't helping much in the battle prior to evolving Gabite must've felt that he needed to grow stronger, so he evolved" Tracey says with the 2 girls and Togetic nodding. Back on the battlefield Ash has an excited look on his face and has his Pokedex out looking up Garchomp as he speaks.

"Congratulations on evolving Garchomp!" Ash says happily as the mon looks at Ash and nods but then tells him to focus with Ash nodding as he looks forward and speaks.

"Okay Pikachu, Charizard, and Garchomp let's do this!" Ash says with the 3-mons nodding as Luana breaks out of her shock and speaks.

"Your Gabite evolving was certainly surprising Ash but that doesn't mean that you're going to win. Bewear, Druddigon run forward and Clefable use Calm Mind!" Luana calls with the 3-mons nodding as Bewear along with Druddigon run forward while Clefable calms its mind Ash speaks.

"Charizard, Garchomp head towards Bewear and Druddigon and Pikachu use Nasty Plot!" Ash calls with the 3-mons nodding. Charizard along with Garchomp fly forward heading for the 2 mons while Pikachu stays behind and sharply raises his special attack power. Now as the 4 mons are getting closer to each other Luana speaks.

"Bewear use Mega Punch on Charizard and Druddigon use Dragon Rush on Garchomp!" Luana calls Bewear's left fist glows while Druddigon covers its body in dragon energy Ash speaks.

"Charizard counter with your Mega Punch and Garchomp use Dragon Rush!" Ash calls Charizard's right fist glows and collides with Bewear while Garchomp covers his body in dragon energy and collides with Druddigon. When the 4 mons collide, they create a big shockwave and begin trying to overpower their opponent. They continue to do this until they all slide a few feet away from each other as Luana speaks.

"Clefable use Moonblast and Bewear, Druddigon move out of the way!" Luana calls. Clefable creates a large Moonblast and throws it forward. Bewear along with Druddigon quickly move out of the way as the attack goes to hit Charizard and Garchomp Ash speaks.

"Charizard, Garchomp use Dig to dodge and Pikachu use Thunder times 6!" Ash calls Charizard along with Garchomp quickly dig underground and avoid the Moonblast. The attack now heads for Pikachu who sparks his cheeks and fires out 6 large Thunders that collide with the Moonblast. The attacks go back and forth for a little while until the 6 Thunders manage to destroy the Moonblast and head for Clefable as Luana speaks.

"Bewear use Brutal Swing and Druddigon use Hyper Beam!" Luana calls Bewear swings its arms knocking away 3 Thunders while Druddigon fires out a large orange beam that collides with 3 Thunders creating an explosion. A couple seconds later Bewear along with Druddigon feel something underneath them as Charizard and Garchomp appear. Garchomp hits Bewear while Charizard upper cuts Druddigon sending both mons high into the air with Charizard and Garchomp flying after them as Luana speaks.

"Bewear use Giga Impact on Garchomp and Druddigon use Aqua Tail on Charizard!" Luana calls. Bewear covers its body in an orange sphere with purple streaks and shoots downward. Druddigon covers its tail in water and shoots downward as well heading for Charizard. When the 2 mons are about to hit their respective targets, Ash speaks.

"Garchomp dodge and knock Bewear down with Brick Break! Charizard, you dodge too then use Dragon Tail and Seismic Toss!" Ash calls Garchomp manages to easily dodge Bewear's attack as he covers both of his arms in white fighting energy and slams them down hard on Bewear's head sending the mon crashing down on the battlefield. We then see Druddigon go to hit Charizard with Aqua Tail, but the fire lizard dodges the attack by moving to the right. Charizard then covers his tail in green dragon energy spins around and slaps Druddigon hard across the face causing super effective damage. Charizard then grabs Druddigon, spins the mon around and throws it towards Garchomp who has his mouth opened as Ash speaks.

"Garchomp use Draco Meteor!" "Clefable use Dazzling Gleam!" "Pikachu use Extreme Speed then Iron Tail!" Both trainers' call. When Garchomp's about to fire the Draco Meteor Clefable sends out a bright light of fairy energy that heads for Garchomp. Pikachu quickly shoots forward, covers his tail in steel energy and manages to cut the Dazzling Gleam in half. Luana along with Clefable are surprised as Pikachu then looks over at Garchomp with the land shark nodding as he looks at Druddigon and roars.

"GAR!" Garchomp roars as he sends out a purple orb of dragon energy that consumes Druddigon and sends the mon high into the air. Once Druddigon gets high enough the orb explodes sending out multiple purple draconic meteors everywhere that land on the battlefield creating multiple explosions with Druddigon roaring in pain and crashing back on the battlefield. When the smoke clears everyone can see Druddigon laying on its back knocked out as the ref speaks.

"Druddigon's unable to battle Garchomp's the winner!" The ref calls as Ash speaks.

"Great job Garchomp!" Ash cheers as Garchomp roars in victory Luana speaks.

"Don't celebrate too early! Bewear use Mega Punch on Garchomp!" Luana calls with Bewear nodding as it jumps in the air heading for the dragon Ash speaks.

"Charizard use Dragon Tail!" Ash calls Charizard instantly appears in front of Bewear and hits the mon with his tail sending it crashing back down on the battlefield. Bewear groans in pain as Luana speaks.

"Bewear above you!" Luana calls as Bewear looks up and sees Charizard having his wings ready as Ash speaks.

"Use Air Slash!" "Bewear dodge and Clefable use Life Dew!" "Garchomp fire a Stone Edge at Clefable!" Both trainers' call. Charizard's wings glow and begins firing multiple slashes of wind towards Bewear who begins to dodge the attacks. While Bewear's dodging Clefable's about to use Life Dew, but Garchomp quickly throws a large sharp stone at Clefable that hits the mon hard in the face causing damage and making it stop using Life Dew. Back to Bewear it's managed to avoid all of the slashes of wind and then sees Pikachu running towards it as Ash speaks.

"Pikachu use Wild Charge!" Ash calls Pikachu covers his body in electricity and continues running towards Bewear as Luana speaks.

"Bewear counter with Giga Impact!" Luana calls Bewear roars as it covers its body in an orange sphere with purple streaks and shoots forward going to collide with Pikachu. Just when the 2 mons are about to make contact with each other Ash calls for a command.

"Pikachu use Double Team!" Ash calls surprising Luana and Bewear as Pikachu creates multiple clones of himself dodging Bewear's attack causing the mon to stop. Once Bewear stops Charizard appears in front of the mon and his body is heating up as Ash speaks.

"Charizard use Inferno!" "Bewear dodge!" Both trainers' call. Unfortunately for Luana Bewear's unable to dodge in time as Charizard roars sending out a big wave of fire that consumes Bewear making the mon cry out in pain until there's then an explosion as Luana speaks.

"Bewear!" Luana calls in worry as when the smoke clears everyone can see Bewear laying on its back knocked out as the ref speaks.

"Bewear's unable to battle Charizard's the winner!" The ref calls as Ash speaks.

"Way to go Charizard!" Ash says as the fire lizard roars in victory Luana speaks.

"We're not done yet Clefable use Dazzling Gleam!" Luana calls Clefable roars as it sends out a big shiny light of fairy energy Ash speaks.

"Garchomp, Charizard use Metal Claw! Ash calls with the two-mons nodding as they cover their claws in steel energy and slash the Dazzling Gleam in half. When they do that Luana sees Ash's Pikachu high in the air sparking his cheeks as Ash speaks.

"Pikachu use Nasty Plot then Thunder times 6!" Ash calls Pikachu sharply raises his special attack power again and fires out 6 large Thunders that head for Clefable as Luana speaks.

"Clefable use Protect!" "Garchomp use Stone Edge and Charizard use Flamethrower!" Both trainers' call When Clefable's about to summon a protective barrier Garchomp along with Charizard fire their attacks that hit Clefable creating an explosion and making it stop using the barrier. Clefable groans in pain as a couple seconds later the 6 Thunders then connect with Clefable and begin to shock the mon until there's an explosion as Luana speaks.

"Clefable!" Luana calls in worry as when the smoke clears Clefable's groaning in pain but can still battle as Ash speaks.

"So, it can still battle" Ash says to himself as Luana speaks.

"Great job Clefable and now it's time to heal yourself use Life Dew!" Luana calls and when Clefable's about to use the move Ash speaks.

"Charizard, Garchomp use Dragon Pulse!" Ash calls surprising everyone as the 2-mons fire out 2 purple draconic beams that combine together and hit Clefable. While inside the attack Clefable's feeling no damage as in the stands Tracey speaks.

"What's Ash doing? He knows not to use a dragon type move on a fairy type" Tracey says as Leaf speaks.

"Maybe he has a plan?" Leaf says as we then come over to Misty who sees that Pikachu's missing then speaks.

"Wait where's Pikachu?" Misty says making Leaf and Tracey confused as they look on the battlefield and don't see Pikachu either. Back on the battlefield Garchomp and Charizard continue using Dragon Pulse on Clefable who isn't fazed by the attack as Luana speaks.

"I'm not sure what your plan for this was Ash but you just made a mistake and now Clefable can heal herself without any worries." Luana says as Ash smirks and speaks.

"You really think so huh? Well let me tell you this what I'm doing right now isn't a mistake" Ash says making Luana confused as she then looks at the battlefield and doesn't see Ash's Pikachu. Luana has a confused look on her face and begins searching for Pikachu. As she's doing that, she notices something moving inside the Dragon Pulse. The woman has a surprised look on her face then speaks.

"Clefable quick get away from the Dragon Pulse!" "It's too late Pikachu use Iron Tail!" Both trainers' call. Before Clefable can get away from the Dragon Pulse out of the attack appears Pikachu with his tail glowing in steel energy surprising everyone. Just when Luana's about to call for a command Ash speaks.

"DO IT PIKACHU!" "Pi! PIKA! CHU! PIKA!" Ash along with Pikachu yell as Pikachu then slashes Clefable with Iron Tail and lands behind the mon. When that happens Charizard along with Garchomp stop using Dragon Pulse as everyone looks at Clefable. The mon groans in pain as it takes a couple steps forward then falls on its stomach. Once it does the ref looks at the mon and can see that it can't move anymore then makes the call.

"Clefable's unable to battle Pikachu's the winner! Kumquat Gym Leader Luana has no more Pokémon while the challenger Ash still has all 3 meaning that Ash Ketchum of Pallet Town is the winner!" The ref calls making Ash excited as he speaks.

"WE DID IT!" Ash cheers along with Pikachu, Charizard (who fires a Flamethrower in the air), and Garchomp. In the stands Misty, Togetic, Leaf, and Tracey cheer too as Leaf speaks.

"They did it!" "Togi!" Leaf along with Togetic cheer as Tracey speaks.

"It was a tough battle, but Ash managed to pull it off" Tracey says with Misty agreeing as she looks at Ash celebrating with his Pokémon (Riolu, Frogadier and Rhyperior came out of their Pokeball's) and smiles. Meanwhile on the other side of the battlefield Luana's surprised that she lost but then smiles as she speaks.

"Oh well" Luana says as she returns her Pokémon back to their Pokeball's, tells them thank you and puts them away. Once she does that she then begins walking over to Ash and his Pokémon. As she's walking Ash along with his Pokémon see her walking towards them and when Luana gets close enough, she looks at Ash and speaks.

"You along with your Pokémon showed amazing teamwork in our battle today Ash meaning that you all deserve this" Luana says as she pulls out a purple snail shell with a small gemstone on it. She hands it to Ash and speaks.

"That's called the Jade Star Badge and it's proof of you defeating my gym congratulations" Luana says while having a smile on her face making Ash along with his Pokémon smile too as Ash speaks.

"We just got the Jade Star Badge!" "Pi, Pika, Chu!" Ash along with Pikachu say while doing their pose as Ash's other Pokémon cheer as well. After that Misty along with her Togetic, Leaf, and Tracey run over to them. When they get close enough Leaf speaks.

"Congratulations Ash you and your Pokémon got the final badge!" Leaf says happily as Tracey speaks.

"With this you're now qualified to compete in the Orange League" Tracey says as Misty speaks.

"Congratulations Ash you and your Pokémon earned this" Misty says with Togetic agreeing with her. Ash along with his Pokémon look at their friends and smile as Luana speaks.

"Now that the battle's done how about I treat all of you to lunch" Luana says making the group happy as they then head over to the cafeteria. When they make it, they see a big table that has a bunch of food on it. The group have surprised looks on their faces as Luana speaks.

"Well dig in and also we didn't forget about your Pokémon" Luana says as they also see food for the Pokémon as well. The group have smiles on their faces as Ash speaks.

"Okay guys let's dig in!" Ash says with everyone nodding as Misty, Leaf, and Tracey send out their Pokémon (Ash also sends out Lapras). Misty's Pokémon today are Togetic, Vaporeon, Golisopod, Inteleon, Quaquaval, Slowking, and Psyduck. Leaf's Pokémon are Venusaur, her shiny Talonflame, Shellder, shiny Shuckle, Clodsire, and Nidoqueen. Once they all send out their Pokémon everyone begins to eat. The food that Luana's staff provided the gang is amazing with everyone enjoying it. Then when they were done eating Ash along with his Pokémon congratulated Garchomp again on evolving which makes the land shark happy. Garchomp then fired off a celebratory Draco Meteor showcasing just how much control he now has over the move, but one of the meteors does accidentally destroy one of the hotel walls. Ash apologized and said he'll pay for repairs, but Luana tells him that it's fine. After that the group then return their Pokémon (besides Pikachu and Togetic) to their Pokeball's and begin heading to the dock. Once they reach the dock Luana looks at Ash and speaks.

"I just want to say congratulations on defeating me Ash and good luck in the Orange League" Luana says with Ash nodding as he speaks.

"Thanks, and I'm going to win it!" Ash says with Pikachu agreeing with him as Misty speaks.

"Speaking of the Orange League where is it going to take place?" Misty asks as just when Tracey's about to speak Luana speaks first.

"It's going to be held on Pummelo Island" Luana says as Ash speaks.

"Pummelo Island?" Ash asks with Luana nodding as she continues.

"Yes, Pummelo Island when you register for the Orange League similar to other leagues, you'll battle your way through multiple trainers then once you've won those battles, you'll get the right to challenge the strongest trainer in the Orange Islands. The Orange Crew's Supreme Gym Leader Drake and he's really powerful" Luana says with the group nodding as Ash speaks.

"So that's who I got to beat" Ash says to himself as he then smiles and speaks.

"Man, this makes me so excited what about you Pikachu?" Ash asks with the yellow mouse nodding as he sparks his cheeks making Ash smile as Leaf speaks.

"How long will it take for us to reach Pummelo Island?" Leaf asks as Tracey speaks.

"According to the guide it should take us about a week to get there" Tracey says with the group nodding as Ash speaks.

"Great then let's go!" Ash says and just when he's about to send out Lapras Luana speaks.

"Now hold on instead of using Lapras how about using a boat instead" Luana says making the group confused as suddenly a boat appears and when it does the group look at it as they see a woman waving at them Luana speaks.

"Maren here will give you guys a ride on her boat" Luana says surprising the group as Tracey speaks.

"You're really giving us a boat that'll take us to Pummelo Island?" Tracey asks as Leaf speaks.

"But why?" Leaf asks as Luana speaks.

"Well because Ash here gave me such a good battle that I'm feeling generous also I heard on the news that there's a possibility of a big storm appearing, so I figured that it'd be a lot safer for you all to travel by boat instead." Luana says with the group nodding as they smile and speak.

"Thank you!" The 4 kids along with Pikachu and Togetic say as Luana looks at them and smiles. After that the group then get on the boat and before they leave Luana looks at Ash and speaks.

"Oh, and Ash if you ever see my son Travis tell him that I love him and miss him" Luana says as Ash speaks.

"You got it" Ash says making the woman happy as after that the group say their goodbyes and the boat begins to sail forward. Luana along with her staff continue to wave the group goodbye until they can't see them anymore and when that's done Luana looks at her staff and speaks.

"Alright let's head back to work" Luana says with her staff nodding as they begin walking back to the hotel. When they make it back to the hotel the manager tells Luana that there's someone here to see her in her office. Luana has a confused look on her face as she begins walking back to her office. When she makes it, she opens the door and when she does, she has a surprised look on her face as she sees a boy along with a Kantonian Raichu next to him. They look at Luana as the boy speaks.

"Hi mom we came to visit" "Rai" The boy along with Raichu say. Luana gets tears in her eyes as she speaks.

"TRAVIS!" Luana says as she wraps not only the boy but also Raichu in a big hug. When the hug is over the two of them then begin to talk, catching up with each other. We now go back to the group who are on the boat heading to Pummelo Island. As the boat continues to sail Leaf speaks.

"It was very nice of Ms. Luana to lend us this boat" Leaf says as Tracey speaks.

"Yes, it makes traveling a lot easier" Tracey says with the group nodding as Misty looks at Ash and speaks.

"So, Ash are you looking forward to the Orange League?" Misty asks as Ash looks at her and speaks.

"Of course, I am and now that I have all 4 badges my Pokémon and I are going to be training nonstop for the league so that we'll be ready and win the whole thing!" Ash responds with the group nodding as Tracey speaks.

"Don't forget Ash you also have many strong rivals that'll stand in your way" Tracey says as Leaf speaks.

"Let's see there's Rinto, Hau, Cameron, Barry, Nemona and many other people you haven't met yet" Leaf says as Misty speaks.

"Also, if you manage to beat them, you'll be going up against the strongest trainer in the Orange Islands are you confident that you'll win?" Misty asks as Ash thinks for a little bit and speaks.

"Yep, I am because as long as I keep believing in my Pokémon there's no obstacle that can stand in our way!" "Pika!" Ash along with Pikachu say making the group smile as they all then look forward having excited looks on their faces seeing what tomorrow will bring for them. We now pan away from the group and come over to Cipher's headquarters on New Orrie Island. In the building we see Greevil walking out of his office and when he does, he sees the Hexagon Brothers there. They look at him as Greevil speaks.

"Has our meeting with him been scheduled?" Greevil asks as Resix speaks.

"Yes, Greevil sir we'll be meeting with him in a couple of days near Shamouti Island" Resix says with Greevil nodding as he speaks.

"Good you along with Blusix and Yellosix will come with me" Greevil says with the 3 men nodding as Purpsix speaks.

"And what about us Greevil sir?" Purpsix asks as Greevil speaks.

"For you three your mission will be to find and steal the Pokémon of the Paldea Elite 4 I've heard rumors that they're currently traveling with a girl that's taking on the Orange League" Greevil says with Purpsix, Greesix, and Browsix nodding as they immediately leave Greevil speaks.

"Now let's go meet the collector" Greevil says as he along with Resix, Blusix, and Yellosix get in a helicopter and begin heading towards their destination. As they ride in the helicopter Greevil looks at a Lugia picture smiles and speaks.

"Soon you'll be mine" Greevil says as we see the helicopter continuing to fly, we now go somewhere else. In another part of the Orange Islands, we see a giant air ship that looks like a flying palace and go inside it. Inside the ship we see a man looking at a screen that has the pictures of Moltres, Articuno and Zapdos on it. He continues to look at the screen and speaks.

"Once I drag out and capture these 3 the king shall appear" The man says while having a smile on his face while looking at a picture of a Lugia. After that deep in the water of the Orange Islands we see a large Pokémon swimming as the chapter comes to an end.

And were you expecting Ash's Gabite to evolve into a Garchomp? I decided to have Gabite evolve here as I felt that it was the right time to do it, and it also allowed him to master Draco Meteor.

Next chapter will come out next week it's the 100th chapter of my what if series, it'll be my take on the "Power of One Movie" movie and It's going to be a big chapter. The group will encounter Greevil along with the hexagon brothers again, there'll be a lot of battles, and have some surprises as well. I hope you all look forward to it.
