(THERE IS A SEX SCENE IN THIS CHAPTER! BE WARNED!)
The room was bathed in soft moonlight, the gentle rise and fall of Rias's breathing filling the air. Leo lay beside her, his body still but his mind in turmoil. His brow furrowed as he sank deeper into restless sleep, the shadows of a forgotten memory clawing their way to the surface.
The air in the dream was heavy, suffocating. Leo found himself standing in the cold, sterile hallway of a high school. Students lined both sides, their faces twisted with rage and disgust.
"Disgusting!" one girl screamed.
"Lock him up and throw away the key!" another boy shouted, his voice laced with venom.
The shouts blurred together into a cacophony of anger, hatred, and vitriol.
Leo looked down at his wrists. Handcuffs. Cold, unyielding, biting into his skin. His heart pounded in his chest, but he didn't struggle.
A uniformed officer shoved him forward, his grip harsh and unrelenting. "Keep moving, kid!" the cop barked, his tone more impatient than professional.
Leo's head hung low as he walked, each step feeling heavier than the last. The insults continued to rain down on him, each one cutting deeper than the one before.
Through the chaos, his gaze landed on a small group standing at the end of the hallway. A man, broad-shouldered and towering, stood protectively in front of a woman holding two small children in her arms. A boy, no older than ten, clung to the man's side.
Though their faces were obscured, their voices cut through the noise like a lifeline.
"Stay strong, son," the man said, his deep voice trembling with barely contained anger. "We believe in you."
The woman's voice was softer, soothing. "You're innocent. We know it. Don't let them break you."
Leo's breath hitched, his chest tightening as he fought back tears. "I'm sorry," he whispered, his voice cracking.
The man stepped forward, his fists clenched. "You don't owe us an apology. But they—" His words were cut off as another officer stepped between them, holding the man back.
"Enough," the officer growled. "You'll see him in court."
The officer behind Leo yanked him forward, nearly making him stumble. "Move it, kid!" he barked again, louder this time.
Leo kept his gaze forward, his jaw clenched as he tried to ignore the jeers and shouts from the crowd.
"Monster!"
"Rot in hell!"
"You're not human!"
Each word felt like a slap, each glare a dagger.
The doors to the school slammed open, the sunlight blinding as he was shoved outside. A police cruiser awaited him, its engine idling.
The officer gripping his arm shoved him hard, making him fall against the car before opening the door and forcing him inside.
"Watch it!" a voice growled. The sheriff—an older man with a weathered face and kind eyes—glared at the officer. "He's a kid, not a punching bag."
The officer grunted but didn't argue, slamming the door shut behind Leo.
The interior of the police cruiser was quiet, the chaos outside muffled. Leo sat in the back seat, his hands still cuffed, his head leaning against the window.
The sheriff glanced at him through the rearview mirror, his expression softening. "Rough day, huh?"
Leo didn't respond, his throat too tight to speak.
"I've been where you are, kid," the sheriff continued, his voice low and empathetic. "It doesn't feel like it now, but the truth has a way of coming out."
Leo finally looked up, his eyes filled with pain and confusion. "Why does everyone hate me?" he asked, his voice barely above a whisper.
The sheriff met his gaze in the mirror, his tone firm. "They're scared. People lash out when they don't understand. But not everyone's against you. Remember that."
Leo swallowed hard, his mind racing. The sheriff's words offered a glimmer of hope, but the weight of the accusations still pressed down on him like a crushing tide.
Leo's eyes snapped open, his chest heaving as he bolted upright in bed. His body was slick with sweat, his breathing ragged. The room was quiet, the warmth of Rias's presence grounding him.
She stirred beside him, her crimson hair spilling over her pillow like a cascade of fire. Her eyes fluttered open, concern immediately washing over her face.
"Leo?" she asked softly, sitting up and wrapped her arms around him, resting her head against his shoulder. "What's wrong?"
He shook his head, rubbing his hands over his face as he tried to steady himself. "Just… a bad dream."
Rias squeezed him tighter, gently running a hand through his hair. "Do you want to talk about it?"
Leo hesitated, the fragments of the memory still vivid in his mind. "Not yet," he admitted. "I... I don't even know if it's real."
Rias removed her head from his shoulder and looked at him lovingly, her voice a soothing whisper. "Whenever you're ready, I'll be here."
Leo gave her a thankful smile before their lips met. Rias had grabbed a fist-full of his hair before dragging him down on top of her, Leo let his hands wander and traced her body with his fingers.
Rias let out a quiet moan as Leo's touch made her feel warm and tickled her skin, she breaks the kiss off and looks up at him with half lidded-eyes. A lustful twinkle in her eyes as she lets her hand travel down his body and towards his growing bulge.
"Leo, I want you..." Rias said in a breathy whisper. He felt her rub his stiff member over his boxers.
Leo gained his own aroused look as his breathing started to quicken. He swallowed nervously as the nightmare from before was replaced with arousal.
"A-Are you sure?" Leo stuttered out. Rias smiled and reached her hand into his boxers and grabbed his fully erect member. She began to pump her hands a few times as her face gained a aroused look.
"I want it.. please." Rias quietly said, her voice a breathy whisper. A switch flipped in Leo's brain, he brought down his face and quickly took Rias's lips onto his letting his tongue and her's clash in a romantic dance for dominance.
Rias let out breathy moans, she kept a firm grip on his member and slowly pumped her hand. Leo broke away and pulled his boxers off, letting his fully erect staff rest against Rias's thigh.
"It's my first time, so, please be gentle..." Rias said, her tone carrying a hint of vulnerability as her blush deepened. Leo smiled down at her and gently grabbed one of her breasts before trailing his tongue over one of her nipples.
Rias's moans increased in sound, her hands tightly held Leo's hair trying to pull him closer to her chest wanting to feel more pleasure. But as seconds passed, Leo became more aggressive with his mouth and lightly began to bite her breast leaving love bites.
The room was filled with soft, rhythmic moans, their intimate melody intertwining with the faint, steady hum of the fan. The gentle whirring of the blades added a subtle backdrop, a soothing counterpoint to the rising sounds of passion. Together, they created an atmosphere both tender and electric, where every breath and sigh seemed to blend seamlessly into the quiet pulse of the room.
Leo brought one of his hands down and slide it in between Rias's thighs finding her womanly entrance. He rubs the outside of her entrance with two fingers causing her to releases a high pitched noise.
Rias squirmed at the feeling, her blush deepening. Her natural scent filled the air, the smell of cherry blossoms and something faintly spicy like cinnamon, seemed to deepen as Leo inserted a finger into her womanhood.
"Oh... My! Y-Your so good at this..." Rias said, her voice quivering with pleasure. Leo smirked and started to lightly bite her on the neck.
"It's my first time also, I just want to make you feel good." Leo whispered into her ear. Rias grabbed Leo's wrist and pulled his fingers out of her, she brought his hand up to her face and started to lick them.
Her tongue wrapped around his finger before she brought his pointer into her mouth. She slowly cleaned off her love juices from his finger, her tongue curling around his knuckle before she pulled her head back with an pop noise.
"Mmm.. it tastes better than when I do it by myself." Rias said, her voice a breathy whisper. Leo smirked and started to trail kisses down her body.
She lets out a shaky breath watching him in anticipation He paused at her waist, glancing up at her through hooded eyes. Her gaze met his, a mix of trust and nervous excitement that made his chest tighten. He pressed a lingering kiss to her hip before continuing lower, his hands steadying her as he moved.
When his lips brushed against her inner thigh, her breath hitched audibly, her fingers tangling in the sheets. He took his time, teasing with feather-light kisses and the occasional flick of his tongue, enjoying the way her body responded to even the smallest of gestures.
As he reached her center, he hesitated for a moment—not out of uncertainty, but to savor the moment. Then, with a slow, deliberate movement, he let his tongue explore, mapping her with careful attention. He paid close attention to every subtle reaction: the way her hips shifted, the soft gasps she couldn't suppress, the way her fingers instinctively reached down to grip his hair.
When his tongue finally found that delicate spot, Rias let out a sharp, breathy moan, her back arching slightly off the bed. Encouraged, he focused there, alternating between slow, deliberate strokes and firmer, more intentional movements.
"Leo," she whispered, her voice trembling with a mix of pleasure and disbelief. Her hands tightened against his scalp, guiding him subtly, though he was already attuned to every reaction she gave him.
Her thighs quivered around him, and he shifted slightly, using his hands to hold her in place, anchoring her as the intensity built. He moved with a rhythm, matching the ebb and flow of her breathing, as if they were in perfect harmony.
Rias's gasps grew louder, her body tensing as he continued. He was patient, relentless but gentle, drawing out her pleasure like a melody he never wanted to end. When she finally cried out, her body shuddering beneath him, he slowed, his movements becoming soft and soothing, grounding her as she came back down.
When he finally looked up, her face was flushed, her chest rising and falling with deep, uneven breaths. She met his gaze and smiled, her fingers brushing lightly through his hair. "You're incredible," she murmured, her voice thick with affection.
Leo grinned, pressing a kiss to her thigh before shifting up to hold her close, their connection deepened in a way that words could never capture. Rias smiled and quickly rolled on top of him.
"Ready for the main course?" Rias asked in a husky whisper, her voice held nothing but desire. Leo smiled up at her and let his hands travel to her round ass and squeeze, Rias slowly brought down her hips on Leo's erect member till it was fully in her.
A loud moan escapes her, but tears fall down her face. She smiles with nothing but love at Leo as she starts to gyrate her hips. The sound of flesh slapping against each other fills the air as Rias bounces in a steady rhythm.
Her voice quivers in pleasure as she moans, her big breasts jiggle with each movement. Rias reaches down and intertwines her fingers with his as she rides him.
"Oh! Fuck me Leo! You feel amazing!" Rias squeals out. Sweat begins to drip down her body and make her skin shine, a lust filled smile on her face as she experiences the highs of new pleasure.
"Rias... I'm close!" Leo called out, his member twitching inside of Rias. The red haired beauty smirks and goes faster.
"I want you to fill me. Mark me as yours!" Rias said.
Leo reaches his hand down towards where they connect and rubs his thumb over a small bead that barely sticks out of her slit. She squeals louder and throws her head back, she clamps down tightly around Leo's member causing him to finish inside, filling her womanhood with his seed.
"CUMMING!" Rias squealed out as a warm liquid squirted out of her entrance and lands on Leo's thighs.
Rias falls onto of Leo breathing heavily, his member twitches every so often still dripping his seed marking Rias as his own. The red haired beauty has a far away glaze on her face before a bashful look covers her face.
"T-That was amazing.." Rias quietly said, her voice barely a whisper. Leo slowly coming down from his primal instincts and looked at Rias.
"Wow..." Leo said breathlessly. Rias giggled quietly and gave him a peck on the cheek before snuggling up close to him.
"That was so much better than when I touch myself.." Rias said. Leo looked at her slightly taken aback. Rias chuckled quietly before sighing contently.
The moonlight filtered through the sheer curtains of Leo's bedroom, casting a soft, silvery glow across the room. The air was quiet, save for the faint rustle of fabric and the steady rhythm of their breathing.
Leo lay on his back, his chest rising and falling as he stared at the ceiling. His body still felt warm from their earlier closeness, but it was the way Rias looked at him now—her vivid blue eyes shimmering with unspoken affection—that made his heart ache in the best possible way.
Rias rested her head on his shoulder, her fingers tracing lazy circles across his chest. Her crimson hair spilled over him like a silken curtain, and he absently brushed a strand away from her face.
"You're quiet," Rias murmured, her voice a soft, sleepy melody. "Lost in thought?"
Leo smiled faintly. "Just… taking it all in. You. This. Us."
Her lips curved into a gentle smile as she shifted closer, her body fitting perfectly against his. "It feels right, doesn't it?"
"Yeah," he said, his voice low. "More than I ever thought it could."
For a moment, neither spoke. The silence between them wasn't empty; it was filled with the kind of peace that didn't need words. Rias's fingers stilled, her hand resting lightly over his heart.
"You know," she whispered, her tone teasing now, "you're surprisingly sweet when you let your guard down. It's... endearing."
Leo chuckled softly, shaking his head. "Don't get used to it. I've got a reputation to uphold."
"Oh, I won't tell anyone." She propped herself up on her elbow, her hair cascading over her shoulder as she looked down at him with a playful glint in her eyes. "Your secret's safe with me."
He reached up, brushing his knuckles along her cheek. "Thanks for tonight, Rias. For… everything."
Her smile softened into something more vulnerable as she leaned down, pressing a feather-light kiss to his forehead. "You don't have to thank me, Leo. Just… stay with me. That's enough."
Her words stirred something deep within him, and he nodded, pulling her down to rest against him once more.
As the minutes ticked by, their breathing began to sync, their bodies relaxing into the comfort of each other's warmth. Rias nestled against his side, her head tucked beneath his chin, and he wrapped an arm around her, holding her close.
The tension of their world—the battles, the responsibilities, the dangers—felt distant here. In this moment, there was only the steady beat of their hearts and the soft glow of the moonlight wrapping them in its embrace.
"Goodnight, Leo," Rias murmured sleepily, her voice barely audible.
"Goodnight, Rias," he replied, his voice trailing off as his eyes fluttered shut.
And together, they drifted into a peaceful sleep, the weight of the world held at bay by the comfort they found in each other.
The morning sun filtered through the classroom windows, painting golden streaks on the desks. Leo sat slouched in his chair, his head propped up by his hand as he stifled yet another yawn. Small bags hung under his eyes, and his usually sharp expression was dulled by a lingering exhaustion.
Sendo, seated next to him, smirked as he leaned back casually. "Late night, huh?" he asked, though his eyes carried a flicker of concern.
Leo waved him off with a lazy grin. "I'll live. Just need the day to get rolling."
Before Sendo could press further, Issei arrived, sliding into the desk in front of Leo. Without hesitation, he lightly thumped the tired young man on the head.
"Yo, you look like hell, man," Issei teased, spinning around to face him. "What'd you do, wrestle a bear in your sleep?"
Leo smirked, leaning forward slightly. "Nah, just practicing for when I finally wrestle you. Gotta get my strength up to toss around all that dead weight."
Issei gasped in mock offense. "Dead weight?! You better take that back, or I'll…" He faltered, realizing he had no good comeback, then pointed a finger dramatically. "I'll steal your lunch money!"
The two laughed as Asia approached, her soft voice cutting through their banter.
"Leo, are you okay?" she asked, her hands clasped nervously. "You look so tired... I wish I could've helped you last night."
Leo stiffened, his mind instantly flashing back to the intimate moments he'd shared with Rias. He quickly chuckled nervously, rubbing the back of his neck. "Oh, it's nothing. Just... uh, weird noises. Yeah, my neighbor had his window open again. He's got a... very active social life."
Asia tilted her head, clearly confused, but before she could ask more, the door burst open, and the Perverted Duo—Matsuda and Motohama—appeared with mischievous grins plastered across their faces.
"Leo! Issei! You're coming with us!" Matsuda declared, grabbing Issei by the arm.
"Wait, what?!" Issei protested as Motohama latched onto Leo's wrist.
"Just trust us," Motohama said, his glasses glinting ominously. "You'll thank us later."
Despite their protests, the two were practically dragged out of the classroom and down the hall, their captors uncharacteristically strong as they pulled them along.
The next thing Leo knew, he was standing in the middle of the girls' locker room, the distinct scent of perfume and fresh sweat hanging in the air.
"Motohama, what the hell are we doing here?" Leo growled, finally shoving the bespectacled boy's hand off him.
Motohama grinned as he adjusted his glasses, giving a confident thumbs up. "Welcome to the VIP suite. Enjoy your stay, boys."
Before Leo could retort, the duo dove into an open locker, pulling the door shut behind them just as faint voices echoed from the hallway.
Issei paled, his eyes darting toward the door as the murmurs of girls' voices grew louder. "No, no, no! This is bad! This is really fuckin bad!" he hissed.
Leo's mind raced. Thinking quickly, he shoved Issei into another locker and found a hiding spot across from him just as the door opened.
A group of girls, all dressed in gym uniforms and chatting casually, filed in. Among them was Koneko, who trailed at the back of the group, her sharp golden eyes scanning the room.
Leo held his breath, trying to calm his racing heart. But as the girls began changing back into their school uniforms, the sound of stifled giggles and heavy breathing came from the locker housing Matsuda and Motohama.
Leo's stomach dropped.
Koneko turned toward the source of the noise, her expression darkening. With a crack of her knuckles, she marched over and punched three large dents into the locker door before yanking it open.
Matsuda and Motohama tumbled out, clutching their stomachs and groaning in pain.
"Idiots," Koneko muttered, her eyes narrowing further as she turned her gaze toward another locker—the one Leo was hiding in.
She repeated the process, her enhanced strength creating dents before she swung the door open, revealing Leo inside. He fell forward onto his knees, gasping as the wind was knocked out of him.
Koneko's eyes widened slightly, though her expression quickly returned to its usual stoic demeanor.
Leo looked up at her with a small, sheepish grin. "Killer left hook you've got there," he wheezed.
Koneko tilted her head, a flicker of confusion and regret crossing her face. "Why are you here?"
Leo groaned as he stood, brushing off his pants. "Blame those two morons." He gestured toward Matsuda and Motohama, who were still unconscious on the floor. "Dragged us in here and bailed. We were just trying to get out without causing a scene."
Koneko squinted, clearly skeptical.
Leo raised his hands in mock surrender. "Scout's honor."
At that moment, Issei's locker burst open as he scrambled out, his face pale with fear. He pointed at Koneko. "I didn't want to be here! I swear! I'm a changed man!" he shouted before bolting out of the room.
Leo sighed, grabbing the unconscious Matsuda and Motohama by their collars. He turned to the girls, giving a polite bow. "Sorry about the disturbance, ladies. These two won't bother you again."
As he moved to leave, a few of the younger girls giggled and whispered among themselves.
"Isn't he cute?"
"Totally hot."
"Why can't guys like him transfer into my class?"
Leo chuckled softly, his cheeks tinged pink as he glanced over his shoulder. "Glad someone appreciates me."
Koneko watched him go, her arms crossed as a small, amused smile tugged at the corner of her lips.
Timeskip - ORC
The ORC clubroom was buzzing with its usual energy as the members settled in after the day's events. Rias sat at her desk with a warm smile, flipping through some papers, while Akeno poured tea for everyone. Asia fidgeted on the couch, stealing occasional glances at Leo, who sat across from her, still looking slightly frazzled from earlier.
Koneko, perched on her usual seat by the window, broke the silence with a casual remark.
"I found two perverts in the girls' changing room today," she said flatly, taking a bite of her chocolate bar. "One of them had glasses, and the other one likes bears."
The room went still for a moment before all eyes landed on Leo and Issei.
"What?!" Issei shrieked, jumping to his feet, his face going beet red. "It wasn't me! I swear I'm a changed man! Ann's all I love now! I've even given up on being the Harem King!"
Rias smirked, her crimson hair shimmering in the warm light of the room. "Oh, Issei. You and Leo really know how to find yourselves in the most interesting situations."
Leo leaned back in his chair, chuckling. "Yeah, well, it's not as glamorous as it sounds. Let me clear the air—Matsuda and Motohama dragged us into that mess. Literally."
Akeno tilted her head, her violet eyes sparkling with amusement. "Oh? Dragged you into a room full of half-dressed girls? Sounds like quite the hardship, Leo," she teased, her voice dripping with playful seduction.
Leo groaned. "It wasn't like that! They ran and hid in lockers, leaving us out in the open! I barely managed to shove Issei into hiding before Koneko showed up and turned me into a punching bag."
Asia's cheeks puffed with jealousy as she leaned forward. "Leo, if you need to see nudity, you can just look at me!" she exclaimed, standing and starting to lift her skirt.
"W-Whoa, Asia! No need for that!" Leo stammered, his face flushing as he waved his hands to stop her. "It was nothing like that, I swear!"
Kiba grinned as he leaned against the wall, wiggling his eyebrows playfully. "Leo, I didn't know you were such a ladies' man. I should start taking notes."
Leo shot him a look. "Oh, come on, don't you start too."
Koneko, ever stoic, jabbed lightly at Leo's arm, her deadpan delivery adding to the humor. "Next time, try not to get caught. You're supposed to be setting a good example for Issei."
Issei groaned loudly. "Why does everyone keep blaming me?! I didn't even want to be there!"
Rias chuckled softly at the banter, her gaze drifting lovingly toward Leo. She stood and walked over to him, placing a hand on his shoulder. "You know, Asia was just trying to help," she said with a sly smile. Then, leaning close to his ear, she whispered, "But if you ever need to see anything, you only have to ask me. I'll show you whatever you want."
Leo's face turned a deep shade of crimson, and he let out a nervous laugh. "Oh, I might just take you up on that, President," he teased, grinning at her.
Rias smirked, leaning back. "Careful, Leo. I might hold you to that."
Before Leo could respond, Asia puffed out her cheeks again and grabbed his cheek, pulling on it with surprising strength. "Leo-san! You're not supposed to flirt with other people like that!" she huffed, glaring at him.
Leo winced, trying to pull back. "Asia, I'm sorry! It's not what you think! Ow, ow, ow!"
The room erupted into laughter, the earlier tension replaced with warmth and camaraderie. Even Koneko allowed herself a rare smile as the ORC members enjoyed the chaos that only Leo could bring to their group.
Timeskip - Leo's Bedroom
Leo sat on his bed, the soft glow of his phone illuminating his face in the dimly lit room. He scrolled through past messages, his tired eyes lingering on a conversation with someone named Benjamin.
Ben: "Hey, man, need your advice. How do I impress a girl? Asking for a friend. ;)"
Leo: "Be yourself. Unless yourself sucks, then be me. Kidding… mostly. Just don't be a creep, and listen to her."
Ben: "Got it, smooth operator. Also, how are you and Melisa?"
Leo: "Fine."
Ben: "...Fine? That's all? What's up with that?"
Leo: "Gotta go. Talk later."
Leo sighed, his thumb hovering over the screen before locking the phone and tossing it onto his nightstand. He leaned back against the headboard, rubbing his face. The vivid dreams and the emotional intimacy of the previous night with Rias had left him feeling drained, his mind a whirlpool of thoughts.
The room suddenly filled with a deep crimson glow, the familiar hum of a teleportation circle pulling him from his thoughts. He sat upright, a small smile forming on his face.
But the smile faltered as Rias materialized before him, her usually confident demeanor replaced with one of visible distress. Her shoulders trembled, and tears welled in her sapphire eyes.
"Rias?" Leo said, quickly rising and moving toward her. "What's wrong?"
Without a word, she barreled into his chest, clutching him tightly as sobs wracked her body. Leo instinctively wrapped his arms around her, holding her close.
"I… I've been hiding something from you," she choked out between sobs.
Leo's brow furrowed with concern. "What is it?"
Her voice cracked as she spoke. "I'm… I'm in an arranged marriage. To a man named Riser Phenex."
The words hit Leo like a thunderbolt. He tightened his hold on her, his mind racing. "Arranged marriage? By who? Do you… do you love him?"
Rias shook her head vehemently, her crimson hair brushing against his chest. "No! I don't love him. I only want you. I love you, Leo."
Her confession sent a surge of emotions through him—love, anger, and helplessness. "Who arranged it?" he asked, his tone firm but gentle.
She sniffled, pulling back just enough to look up at him, her tear-streaked face breaking his heart. "My father and brother," she whispered. "They made the agreement with the Phenex family to strengthen ties between our houses. It's tradition for high-ranking devils, but… but I don't want it. I don't want him."
Leo cupped her face, his thumbs brushing away her tears. "Is there anything I can do?" he asked, his voice laced with desperation. "Anything at all? I hate seeing you like this."
Rias leaned into his touch, her voice barely above a whisper. "Just hold me," she said, her tone pleading. "Please, hold me tighter."
A sudden icy-red glow enveloped the room, startling both of them. Leo instinctively stepped in front of Rias, his eyes narrowing as the light coalesced into a teleportation circle. From it emerged a stunning woman with silver hair, braided elegantly, and piercing red eyes. Her demeanor exuded poise and authority.
The woman's gaze swept the room before landing on Leo and Rias. She took a few measured steps forward, her tone calm but firm. "Rias, it is unbecoming of the Gremory heiress to act this way. You must remember your duties."
Rias turned, her voice trembling with emotion. "Why can't I be with the one I actually love? Why can't Father and Brother see that? Even you, Grayfia, seem set on sending me off to someone I despise!"
Grayfia's expression softened, a rare break in her stoic facade. "Rias, I don't support this arrangement," she said gently. "I have always believed that love should guide such decisions. But the expectations placed upon you as the Gremory heiress are immense."
Rias sniffled, stepping away from Leo to face her. "Why is it only you, my mother, and my sister-in-law who understand? Why can't the men in my family see reason?"
Grayfia turned her attention to Leo, her sharp gaze softening slightly. She offered him a polite bow. "You must be Leo. I am Grayfia Lucifuge, servant to the Gremory family."
Leo waved her off, feeling slightly awkward. "No need to bow. I'm just a Rook. But it's nice to meet you."
Grayfia straightened, her lips curving into a faint smile. "I've read the reports about you, Leo. You are… intriguing."
Stepping closer, she gently cupped his face, her red eyes locking onto his. Instinctively, Leo's eyes began to glow a deep, unnatural blue, sending a shiver down Grayfia's spine. She quickly pulled her hands away, composing herself.
Rias interjected, her cheeks flushing. "Grayfia, this is Leo. And… he's my boyfriend."
Grayfia's professional mask slipped for a moment as her eyes widened slightly. "Boyfriend?" she repeated, her voice tinged with surprise.
Then, regaining her composure, she asked, "Have you two… consummated your relationship?"
Rias blushed furiously, nodding shyly.
Grayfia sighed, a mixture of dread and relief flashing in her eyes. "That complicates things, but it may work in your favor." She turned back to Leo. "I must inform Sirzechs of this development. You don't mind, do you?"
Leo shook his head. "Do what you need to."
Rias stepped forward, her voice firm. "Grayfia, I know why you're here. We'll discuss this more at my headquarters. Akeno will join us."
Grayfia gave a slight nod. "The Priestess of Thunder? I don't mind. It is expected for a Queen to stand by her King."
Rias turned to Leo, her expression filled with love and longing. She leaned up and kissed him softly on the lips. "I'll see you later. I love you."
Leo smiled, brushing a strand of hair from her face. "I love you too."
As the teleportation circle activated, enveloping both women in its glow, Leo was left alone in his room. He sat back on the edge of his bed, his thoughts racing as he tried to piece together what this revelation meant for their future.
Timeskip - Next Morning Kuoh Academy
The morning had passed in a blur, but Leo's mind was anything but clear. He trudged through the unusually empty hallway toward class, his thoughts a swirling storm. Rias's arranged marriage, his own engagement to Sona, and the lack of answers weighed heavily on him.
His footsteps echoed through the silence. Something about the emptiness of the corridor felt wrong. A nagging, cold sensation prickled at the back of his neck, and his steps slowed. He stopped in the middle of the hallway, his sharp eyes scanning his surroundings.
A figure emerged from one of the doorways at the far end of the hall. The boy stood still, staring at Leo with a menacing smirk, his posture casual but his presence foreboding.
The shrill sound of a high-pitched whistle broke the quiet, and Leo's muscles tensed. Doors slammed open around him as a flood of male students poured into the hallway, their footsteps thudding against the tiles. Within moments, he was completely surrounded—ten, maybe eighteen, forming a tight circle.
Leo's sharp senses screamed at him just before the first blow landed. A sharp, stabbing pain erupted in his side, drawing a growl from deep in his throat. He turned to see one of the attackers clutching a bloodied pen, a smirk plastered across his face.
"You're dead now," the boy sneered.
Without hesitation, Leo drove his head forward, smashing his forehead into the attacker's nose. The wet crunch of cartilage breaking filled the air as the boy staggered back, clutching his shattered face. Blood dripped onto the floor, and Leo yanked the pen out of his side, tossing it aside with a snarl.
"You better hope that's the worst thing that happens to you today," Leo growled, his voice low and menacing.
The cocky leader, a smug-looking boy with an overconfident grin, stepped forward. "You don't get it, do you?" he said, gesturing to the group surrounding Leo. "You think you're hot shit because you hang around those dumb sluts, huh? Like they make you special or something? You're a pathetic piece of trash, and we're going to teach you a lesson you won't forget."
The insult was a spark in Leo's chest, igniting a wildfire of rage. His eyes narrowed, and the faint smile that curled his lips was anything but friendly.
"Big talk," Leo said, his tone icy, "for someone who's about to eat through a straw."
Without warning, he lunged, catching the leader off guard. His fist slammed into the boy's jaw with a sickening crack, sending him sprawling to the floor. The others hesitated for a moment before rushing Leo all at once.
The hallway erupted into violence. Leo ducked under the first punch, driving his shoulder into the attacker's stomach and lifting him off the ground. With a roar, he slammed the boy into the wall sending a bulletin to the floor. The papers that were tacked onto it, were sent scattering into the air.
Another attacker swung a textbook at Leo's head, but Leo caught the improvised weapon mid-swing and yanked it away, using it to bash the boy across the face. Blood splattered against the tiled floor as the attacker stumbled back, clutching his now-broken nose.
"Damn!" Sendo exclaimed from the doorway of his classroom, watching the chaos unfold. "Leo's going all out!"
Asia's hands were clasped tightly in front of her chest as she watched, her wide eyes filled with worry. "H-He's hurt! Leo is bleeding!"
Issei groaned, running a hand through his hair. "What the hell is he doing?!"
Katase and Murayama peeked out from the classroom beside them.
Katase gasped. "Leo's fighting again? Oh my God, is that blood?!"
Matsuda and Motohama peeked out from behind another door, their jaws dropping. "He's like an action movie star!" Matsuda whispered.
"More like a freakin' horror movie villain," Motohama added.
Ms. Monroe stepped into the hallway, her professional demeanor cracking as she took in the carnage. "What on earth is happening out here?!"
"This is insane," Murayama murmured, her jaw dropping.
Leo spun around, catching a fist aimed at the back of his head. He twisted the attacker's arm, forcing the boy to cry out before driving his knee into the boy's stomach. The attacker collapsed, coughing and gasping for air.
Just as Leo turned, another boy tackled him, driving them both to the ground. The impact sent shockwaves through the hallway.
"Oh my God, they got him!" Matsuda whispered, peeking from the doorway.
"Not for long," Motohama replied, adjusting his glasses. "Look at his eyes. He's pissed."
Leo growled, grappling with his attacker before flipping him over and pinning him. His fist came down like a hammer, slamming into the boy's face over and over until blood and teeth littered the floor.
Another attacker rushed at him with a makeshift club, but Leo ducked and caught the weapon, snapping it in half with his bare hands. He used the jagged end to drive the boy back, forcing him to trip and fall to the floor.
"Get him!" someone shouted, and two more boys tackled Leo from the side. They slammed him into the floor, as they tried to hold him down.
"Damn it!" Issei shouted, punching the wall in frustration. "Why the hell aren't we helping him?!"
"That look in his eyes," Sendo replied, his gaze focused on the fight. "I've seen that look before. He'll handle it, I think he's doing a hell of a job."
Leo roared, breaking free from his captors with sheer strength. He grabbed one of them by the throat and lifted him off the ground before slamming him into the floor. The impact left a crater in the tile, and the boy lay motionless, froth and blood leaking from his mouth.
The second attacker tried to flee, but Leo caught him by the back of his shirt and spun him around, delivering a devastating uppercut that sent the boy flying down the hallway.
The remaining attackers hesitated, their confidence waning as they watched their comrades fall one by one.
"Don't just stand there!" the leader shouted, his voice tinged with panic. "Get him!"
Two of the attackers charged, but Leo ducked low and drove his shoulder into one of them, sending the boy flying backward. The other attacker landed a punch to Leo's side, hitting the wound from earlier. Leo winced but retaliated immediately, grabbing the boy by the hair and slamming his face into the lockers repeatedly until he crumpled to the floor.
With most of the attackers lying on the ground, groaning or unconscious, Leo turned his attention to the leader. The boy's cocky grin had vanished, replaced by wide eyes and trembling hands.
"Please," the boy stammered. "I didn't mean it! It was just a joke!
Leo's gaze was cold and unrelenting. He delivered a swift punch to the boy's throat, cutting off his air supply. The boy clawed at his neck, gasping desperately. He slowly began to crawl away as he gasped and wheezed, but Leo's boot came down hard on his face knocking him unconscious.
The crowd murmured in shock.
"Damn," Sendo said, his tone filled with awe. "He's like a freakin' gladiator."
Asia rushed toward him, but Ms. Monroe stepped in first, her face pale but resolute. "That's enough! This ends here," she said, addressing both the attackers and the audience.
She turned to Leo, her tone softening. "Go to the nurse's office, Leo. Now. That wound needs attention."
Leo nodded, wiping the blood from his face as he limped away, leaving the crowd murmuring in awe and fear.
Timeskip - To The ORC
The late afternoon sun cast long shadows across the academy grounds as Leo trudged toward the ORC building. His hands were jammed into his pockets, and his jaw clenched tight. Though the cool breeze tried to soothe him, a storm brewed within.
"Relax… calm down," he whispered under his breath, his voice barely audible. His words weren't directed at himself but at the Berserker that stirred restlessly within, its simmering rage threatening to boil over.
Up ahead, a familiar blonde figure approached. Yuuto Kiba smiled warmly as he caught sight of his friend.
"Hey, Leo. Heading to the club early today?"
Leo nodded, his troubled expression evident. "Yeah… had a rough day. Figured I'd try to unwind."
Kiba's smile faltered slightly, concern flashing in his eyes. "I heard about the fight. You okay?"
Leo waved him off dismissively. "The fight doesn't bother me. It's Rias…" He hesitated, glancing at Kiba. "She was… off last night. Do you know what's going on?"
Kiba's expression darkened as they reached the clubroom's door. He paused for a moment before answering. "It's House Gremory drama. Nothing good. You'll see."
The familiar warmth of the ORC greeted them as they stepped inside. The room buzzed with activity, each member occupied with their own tasks.
Issei was the first to catch Leo's eye, sitting on a couch with his phone in hand. He was smiling as he typed furiously, likely texting Ann.
Asia was nearby, tidying up a stack of books. Koneko sat in her usual corner, munching on snacks. Akeno stood at the tea set, pouring herself a fresh cup, her serene smile in place.
In the far corner, however, stood someone unexpected.
Grayfia Lucifuge.
The elegant silver-haired woman glanced at Leo and Kiba as they entered, offering Leo a brief, polite smile before returning to her stoic demeanor.
Leo's gaze shifted to Rias, who sat at her desk, her posture tense. As soon as she noticed everyone's arrival, she rose from her seat and sighed. "Well, everyone's here. Good…"
Grayfia stepped forward, her crimson eyes locking onto Rias. "My lady," she said, her voice steady and polite, "may I have permission to speak openly?"
Rias nodded, but before she could respond, the room was suddenly engulfed in a blazing orange light.
A teleportation circle unlike any Leo had seen before materialized in the center of the room. Flames licked at the edges of the intricate sigil, casting the room in a fiery glow. The air grew oppressively hot, and waves of heat rippled through the space.
Leo's body tensed, his eyes narrowing as they began to flicker between deep blue and green. The Berserker roared within him, its rage ignited by the fiery presence.
The circle faded, leaving a tall, imposing figure standing where it had been.
The man was strikingly handsome, with short blonde hair that framed his smug, self-assured expression. He wore a burgundy blazer with gold embroidery, a half-unbuttoned white shirt beneath it revealing a glimpse of his chest.
His dark blue eyes scanned the room, his lips curling into a sneer until they landed on Rias. His sneer morphed into a cocky grin as he stepped forward.
"I haven't been to the human realm in a while," he said, his tone dripping with arrogance. "I've come for you, Rias, my love."
Rias's glare hardened, but Leo caught the flicker of sadness behind her anger.
"Who's the blonde prick?" Leo growled, his voice low and dangerous.
The man's gaze snapped to Leo, his smirk faltering as anger flashed in his eyes. "Excuse me?" he said, his tone venomous.
Before he could say more, Grayfia stepped forward, her tone calm but commanding. "Allow me to introduce Riser Phenex," she said. "The third heir of the Phenex family. He has been engaged to Lady Rias for quite some time."
The revelation hit the room like a bomb.
"What?!" Issei shot up from his seat, his eyes wide in disbelief. "President Rias is marrying this asshole?"
Asia gasped, covering her mouth with her hands. "M-Marrying?!"
Koneko raised an eyebrow, looking between Rias and Riser with a rare flicker of surprise. "That's… unexpected," she muttered, her monotone voice betraying just a hint of disbelief.
Akeno's serene mask cracked slightly, her brows knitting together. She glanced at Rias with concern but said nothing.
Leo's fists clenched at his sides, his jaw tightening as he fought to keep his composure. The Berserker within him growled and snarled, demanding to be unleashed.
Meanwhile, Riser ignored the outbursts, his attention solely on Rias. He took another step forward, extending a hand toward her. "My darling, it's time we stopped this charade. Let's return to the underworld and fulfill our destiny together."
Rias's glare intensified. "I'm not going anywhere with you, Riser."
Riser chuckled, shaking his head. "Still playing hard to get, I see. Don't worry, my love. You'll come around."
Leo took a step forward, his eyes burning with fury. "She said she's not going anywhere with you." His voice was a low, dangerous growl.
Riser turned his attention back to Leo, his smirk returning. "And who are you supposed to be?" he sneered. "Her lapdog?"
Leo's lips curled into a feral grin. "I'm the guy who's going to knock that smug look off your face."
The tension in the ORC room was suffocating. Across the room, Rias sat rigidly beside Riser Phenex, who lounged on the couch as if he owned the place. His burgundy blazer was slightly unbuttoned, his posture lazy yet domineering. In one hand, he held a delicate teacup, and with the other, he casually twirled a lock of Rias's crimson hair.
Rias's face was a storm of emotions—her lips pressed into a thin line, her arms crossed tightly. She sat with her eyes closed, but the disgust radiating off her was palpable.
Riser took a long, deliberate sip of his tea, letting out a contented sigh. "My, Rias's Queen certainly knows how to prepare a fine cup of tea."
Akeno stepped forward, her usual serene smile replaced by a furrowed brow. She bowed politely, her tone neutral, though a tinge of annoyance crept in. "Thank you for the compliment, Lord Riser."
From the other side of the room, Issei's hands clenched into fists. His eyes darted between Riser, lounging smugly, and Rias, his best friend's girlfriend, now being toyed with like a possession. This disgusting guy is her fiancé? he thought bitterly, gritting his teeth so hard it hurt.
Beside him, Leo stood still, but the fire in his eyes betrayed the storm brewing inside him. His jaw was set, his teeth grinding audibly as he stared at Riser's hand—that damned hand—now sliding from Rias's hair down to her thigh.
Kiba leaned closer to Issei and whispered under his breath, "Leo's going to snap. We'll need to hold him back."
Issei nodded, casting a nervous glance at his best friend. "I just hope we can," he muttered, worry etched across his face.
Abruptly, Rias stood, breaking Riser's hold on her. She glared down at him, her voice sharp and commanding. "Cut it out, already. Riser, I told you last time—I don't intend to marry you."
Riser smirked, unbothered, and leaned back against the couch like a king surveying his domain. "Oh, Rias, you can say that all you like. But let's not pretend your family has any other options. They've backed themselves into a corner, and now you're in no position to be selfish."
Rias's glare intensified, her fists clenching at her sides. "I will not bring my family down," she snapped, her voice laced with venom. "I'll take a husband, yes, but I will marry someone I choose—someone I want to be with!"
Riser set his teacup down with an exaggerated flourish and stood, his towering presence filling the room. "Marry someone you choose?" he echoed, his tone mocking. "And just who might that be? Hmm?"
Leo's fists tightened, his nails digging into his palms as he locked eyes with the arrogant noble.
Ignoring the tension in the room, Riser continued, his voice turning serious. "The devil world struggles to maintain its pureblooded lineages, Rias. After the last war, pureblood devils like us became a rarity. This marriage was arranged for the common good—our fathers and their fathers saw the need for this union. It is a noble cause."
Rias turned her back on him, taking a few steps toward her desk. She spoke without looking back, her voice firm but heavy with emotion. "My father, my elder brother, and my family members may think they know what's best, but they don't know me. I won't say it twice, Riser—I'm not going to marry you!"
In an instant, Riser closed the distance between them, grabbing Rias by the chin and tilting her face toward his. The room froze.
Rias's defiant glare didn't waver as she stared at Riser, but her chest tightened with anger. The air in the ORC room had grown heavy with tension, and even the smallest movement felt like it could ignite an explosion.
"You know, Rias," Riser continued with his arrogant smirk, his grip on her chin tightening just enough to make his intent clear. "I am the face of the Phenex family. My honor cannot be sullied—especially not by you."
"Let. Go. Of. Her."
Leo's voice rumbled across the room, low and dangerous, each word carrying the weight of barely contained fury. His glowing blue-and-green eyes flickered ominously, a harbinger of the storm brewing within.
Riser turned slowly, his smirk widening as he laid eyes on Leo. "And what's this?" His tone dripped with mockery. "A Rook getting uppity?"
Leo took a step forward, but before he could close the distance, Kiba and Issei grabbed his arms.
"Calm down!" Kiba hissed, his tone edged with concern.
"Leo, don't do anything stupid!" Issei added, though his eyes betrayed his own rising anger.
Leo didn't move, his body taut with rage as the Berserker's voice roared in his mind.
"This wretch dares to speak of honor while threatening your mate? End him. Now."
"Please calm down," Grayfia interjected, stepping forward. Her calm voice carried an authoritative weight that cut through the escalating tension.
Riser released Rias's chin, his expression nonchalant as he turned to face the silver-haired maid. He gave a casual shrug. "When it's you, the mightiest Queen, saying that, even I feel a little scared." His tone, however, betrayed his lack of genuine respect.
Grayfia's crimson eyes narrowed slightly, but before she could speak further, Riser's attention shifted. His gaze landed on Asia, and his lips curled into a predatory grin.
Riser began to walk around the coffee table, his movements deliberate as his eyes roamed over Asia's trembling form.
"You are adorable," Riser said, his voice soft but dripping with malice. "I will enjoy you… along with my new wife."
Asia shrank back, clutching her hands to her chest as she tried to make herself smaller. "Why… why are you looking at me like that?" she stammered.
Leo's rage reached its boiling point. He ripped his arms free from Kiba and Issei's grasp and stepped in front of Asia, shielding her with his broad frame. His glare burned into Riser as he growled, "Touch any of the women in this room, and I'll make sure you regret it."
Riser stared at Leo for a moment before throwing his head back in laughter. "Bold words," he said, wiping a nonexistent tear from his eye. "I meant no disrespect. It's not uncommon for a husband to have full control over his wife's peerage. When Rias and I are married, all of you—her precious pieces—will be mine to use however I see fit."
He leaned closer, his smug smile growing wider. "You, Rook, would make an excellent addition to the coliseum. I'd love to watch you fight for your life every day until you finally break. And you'd never see any of them again."
Leo's breath hitched. He glanced over his shoulder at the ORC members. Koneko's usually stoic face was lined with unease, and even Akeno's serene smile had vanished, replaced with a cold, steely expression. Rias's eyes burned with frustration and despair.
The sight ignited a fire within Leo. His teeth ground together so hard it felt like they might shatter, and his fists clenched until his knuckles popped. The veins on his forehead pulsed visibly, and his breathing grew heavy.
The Berserker's voice boomed in his mind.
"Destroy him. This insolent brat dares to threaten your family? Crush him. Show him what it means to defy a warrior."
The connection broke abruptly as Riser snapped his fingers. A fiery portal opened behind him, and a group of women emerged. His peerage.
The women stood silently, their postures rigid and their gazes hollow. Many bore bruises and cuts, their expressions devoid of life. It was a haunting sight.
Leo's eyes scanned the group, his anger momentarily replaced by grim realization.
Among them, one stood out—a petite woman with twin drills of golden hair cascading down her shoulders. Her vibrant pink dress shimmered, and despite her small stature, she carried herself with an air of royalty.
Leo's gaze locked onto her. "You there," he called, his voice steady but commanding. "What is your name?"
The woman curtsied gracefully, a polite smile on her face. "My name is Ravel Phenex," she replied, her voice soft but tinged with a quiet strength. Her cheeks turned a faint pink as she added, "You are quite handsome, Sir Leo."
Leo blinked, caught off guard by the unexpected compliment. Before he could respond, Riser clapped his hands together, drawing everyone's attention back to him.
"Ah, my darling little sister," Riser said, his tone dripping with fake fondness. "Always so polite. But don't waste your time with this brute. He'll be nothing more than a memory soon enough."
Leo's jaw tightened, his fists clenched so hard his knuckles turned white. His eyes blazed with unrestrained fury as he took a single, deliberate step forward. "We'll see about that," he growled, his voice sharp enough to cut through the tension in the room.
He extended an arm, his finger pointing at one of the women in Riser's peerage. "You," he called out, his voice steady but firm. "What's your name?"
The woman he pointed to stiffened, her light brown hair brushing her shoulders as she glanced nervously toward Riser. Her grey eyes, shadowed by the weight of fear, flickered back to Leo. She hesitated, tugging at the edge of her jacket, her fingers brushing the bruises marring her exposed midriff and legs.
"I-Isabela," she stammered, her voice barely audible but respectful.
Leo's gaze softened for a fraction of a second as he took in her battered state. Isabela was loyal to Riser—he could see it in the way her trembling form still held itself upright under his scrutiny. And yet, her respectfulness was a stark contrast to the arrogance of her master.
"Isabela," Leo repeated, his tone measured but pointed, as if silently acknowledging her strength amidst her fear.
Before he could say more, Riser's mocking laughter echoed through the room. "What's this, Leo? Collecting names to distract from your incompetence?" The Phoenix heir smirked as he turned his attention to Asia.
Leo tensed, his body rigid, but Riser's condescending tone continued. "Perhaps I should give your little pet a name too."
Riser's smirk deepened as he ignored Leo, his attention shifting toward Asia. The young healer instinctively took a step back, her hands trembling as she clutched her sacred gear. Her wide, fearful eyes darted around the room, seeking an escape, but there was none.
Leo's jaw clenched as he stepped forward, cutting through the charged silence. His voice was sharp, commanding. "You there," he called, pointing to one of Riser's peerage.
The armored woman, with light brown hair tied back beneath a simple headband, looked up at him. Her green eyes were dulled, her face bruised and pale. She carried herself with an air of quiet resignation, yet the strength in her stance betrayed a willpower buried beneath her battered exterior.
"Karlamine," she replied evenly, her tone polite yet hollow. The full set of silver armor she wore—an intricate blend of European knight and samurai aesthetics—clinked faintly as she straightened. Her broadsword glimmered faintly under the room's light, a stark contrast to the bruises marring her exposed skin.
Leo nodded. "A knight," he said, his voice softer. There was respect in his tone, a recognition of her dignity even in her current state. But before he could say more, a sharp, guttural cry shattered the moment.
The sound made his blood run cold.
Leo's head snapped toward the sound of Asia's distress, his heart clenching at the sight before him. Riser stood over her, his hands wandering inappropriately over her trembling form. Asia's tear-streaked face and her quiet, pleading whimpers sent a bolt of rage surging through Leo's chest.
The Berserker inside him roared with fury, its voice a thunderous growl in his mind.
"This filth dares defile one of your own? No hesitation! End him!"
Leo's fists clenched tightly, his knuckles turning white as he tried to reign in his anger, but it was like holding back a tidal wave. His glowing eyes flickered erratically between blue and green, the aura surrounding him growing darker and heavier with each passing second.
Asia's voice trembled, barely audible as she whimpered, "Stop… p-please…"
Riser sneered, his hand drifting toward her skirt. "Such a delicate little flower," he murmured, his tone vile. "I'll enjoy breaking you, piece by piece."
The room fell into a tense silence, broken only by Asia's muffled sobs. Riser's peerage, standing in the background, shifted uncomfortably. Some averted their eyes, their faces twisted in disgust and fear. Karlamine tightened her grip on her sword, her jaw clenching as she fought the urge to speak out. Even Ravel's polite demeanor faltered, her expression grim as she turned her gaze away.
But the silence didn't last.
"LET HER GO!"
Leo's voice thundered through the room, reverberating off the walls like a primal roar. The sound sent a shiver down everyone's spine, even Riser's. The Phenex noble turned, his smirk still plastered on his face, though there was a flicker of unease in his eyes.
Riser chuckled, feigning nonchalance. "Oh? And what will you do, brute? Bark louder?"
Leo's steps were heavy as he began to walk forward, his aura so thick and oppressive that the weaker members of Riser's peerage instinctively stepped back. Kiba and Issei exchanged worried glances before moving to intercept him.
"Leo, don't—" Kiba started, reaching out to grab his arm.
Issei added, "We need to think this through—"
But Leo shrugged them off effortlessly, his focus unyielding as he stalked toward Riser. The air around him shimmered with raw power, a mix of rage and the Berserker's ancient energy.
"Touch her again," Leo growled, his voice low and venomous, "and I'll make sure you can't even crawl back to the Underworld."
Riser straightened, his smirk returning as he dropped Asia carelessly to the floor. She fell to her knees, clutching her chest as she gasped for breath.
"You dare threaten me?" Riser said, spreading his arms as flames ignited around him. "Do you know who I am, mongrel? I am Riser Phenex! I am eternal!"
Leo didn't stop. He closed the distance in a blink, grabbing Riser's wrist mid-swing as the noble attempted to summon a fireball.
The sickening crack of Riser's wrist echoed through the room, followed by his sharp intake of breath. Leo's grip was unrelenting, his glowing eyes boring into Riser's with a rage that was barely contained.
"I don't care who you are," Leo spat, his voice dripping with malice. "You're nothing but a coward hiding behind your name."
Before Riser could respond, Leo's free hand shot forward, landing a devastating punch to his jaw. The force sent Riser hurtling across the room, crashing into a wall with enough force to crack the plaster.
"Holy crap!" Issei blurted, his eyes wide as he looked between Leo and the now-crumpled Riser.
Grayfia's composed mask faltered for a brief moment, her brows furrowing as she watched the display. "So this is his power…" she thought, her crimson eyes narrowing slightly.
Asia crawled back to the safety of the ORC members, her small frame trembling as she clung to Issei's arm. "Leo…" she whispered, her voice shaky with a mixture of fear and awe.
Koneko crossed her arms, her golden eyes narrowing at the sight of Leo's rampage. "He's going to lose it," she muttered, her usually calm tone laced with concern.
Rias stepped forward, her heart pounding in her chest. "Leo, stop!" she called out, her voice firm but pleading. "You don't have to do this!"
But Leo wasn't listening. His attention was locked on Riser, who was staggering to his feet, his flames reigniting as he glared at Leo.
"You dare lay your hands on me?" Riser roared, spitting blood as he summoned a torrent of fire. "I'll incinerate you!"
The fire surged toward Leo, but he didn't flinch. Instead, he pushed forward, the flames licking at his skin but failing to slow him down.
"You can try," Leo growled, his voice steady and fearless.
Riser's flames intensified, but they only seemed to fuel Leo's fury. He charged through the inferno, landing another brutal punch to Riser's stomach, sending him flying once again, Riser slammed into the wall before going through it, sending splinters of wood flying through the air.
The wind howled through the gaping hole in the wall as Leo stalked forward, his eyes blazing with fury. Dust swirled around him, but his focus was locked on the smug noble brushing debris from his pristine coat below.
Riser glanced up, his lips curling into a grin. "Well, well. Look at the little lion roaring," he taunted, his voice dripping with mockery.
In an instant, Riser vanished, reappearing before Leo like a blur. His hand snapped out, clamping around Leo's throat with crushing force. "You thought you could challenge me?" Riser sneered, lifting Leo effortlessly. "Pathetic."
With a beat of his flaming wings, Riser launched himself into the sky, dragging Leo with him. The cold night air whipped past them as they soared higher, their silhouettes outlined against the moonlight.
Leo struggled in Riser's grasp, managing to land a solid punch to his ribs. Riser grunted, his smirk faltering for a brief moment before he retaliated with a brutal knee to Leo's stomach.
"You don't understand, do you?" Riser growled, throwing Leo higher into the air. "You're nothing but an insect to me! The flames of the Immortal Phoenix make me invincible!" His voice roared triumphantly as he charged a massive fireball in his hand.
Leo twisted in mid-air, his body spinning with raw force. "Then let's see how invincible you really are," he spat, his voice sharp and unyielding.
The fireball loomed larger, its heat singeing the air. But as Riser prepared to throw it, Leo's body suddenly rocketed downward, cutting through the night sky like a comet. The speed was breathtaking, a golden streak hurtling straight toward his target.
Before Riser could react, Leo's hand clamped around his face with brutal precision.
"Got you," Leo hissed, his tone deadly calm.
The impact was cataclysmic. Leo drove Riser downward, their combined force tearing through the clouds. The old school building shuddered violently as they smashed through its roof, the ORC room reduced to a storm of splinters and dust.
When the chaos settled, Riser lay embedded in the shattered floor, his body half-buried in the wreckage. Leo stood over him, his hand still gripping the noble's face, his chest heaving with exertion.
"Enough!" Grayfia's voice cut through the air, cold and commanding. Her silver aura flared, and the room's temperature dropped instantly. Frost formed along the broken wood, and her icy power sent chills down everyone's spines. "Leo, release him. Now."
Leo's growl rumbled low in his throat, his golden eyes narrowing. But he finally let go, stepping back as Riser pulled himself free with a grunt.
"Is that all you've got?" Riser mocked, brushing off his ruined coat. "Not even a scratch. Tsk, tsk. I expected more from someone Rias seems so… fond of."
Rias moved quickly, kneeling in front of Leo. Her crimson hair spilled over her shoulders as she inspected him, her hands trembling slightly. "Are you hurt?" she asked softly, her voice laced with concern.
Leo winced but shook his head. "Nothing serious," he muttered.
Her gaze dropped to his side, where a thin cut seeped a line of blood. Before Leo could protest, Asia knelt beside him, her hands glowing with the light of Twilight Healing. The wound sealed quickly, leaving smooth, unbroken skin.
Riser's laughter filled the room, drawing their attention. "What piece is he, my dear Rias? What pathetic little chess piece did you waste on this boy?"
Rias stood, her expression fierce as she glared at him. "Leo is my Rook," she said firmly, her voice resonating with pride. "And he's worth more than you could ever comprehend."
Riser laughed again, a hollow, mocking sound. "A Rook? How fitting. A blunt instrument for a blunt boy." His grin widened. "But let's be honest, Rias. You deserve better. Someone like me—noble, powerful, immortal."
Rias's lip curled into a smirk, one that sent a flicker of unease through Riser's bravado. "Better?" she repeated, her tone biting. "Please. You're a self-absorbed coward who'd sleep with anything that moved." She stepped closer to Leo, her cheeks pinkening slightly. "That's why I gave my first time to someone who deserved it."
The room fell deathly silent.
Riser froze, his eyes narrowing. "What did you just say?"
Rias turned to Leo, her hands gently resting on his shoulders. "I said I gave my virginity to Leo last night," she said, her voice steady. "And I've never regretted it for a moment."
Leo's eyes widened slightly, and he looked up at her, stunned. The warmth in her gaze melted any doubt, and for a moment, the chaos around them faded.
The tension in the room skyrocketed as Riser's composure shattered. Flames erupted around his fists, his entire body shaking with fury. "You… insolent… whelp!" he bellowed, his voice echoing with rage.
Leo straightened, his expression calm but unyielding. "Looks like I touched a nerve," he said coolly.
"You've ruined everything!" Riser snarled, pointing a shaking finger at him. "You've broken a noble contract! This was for the betterment of the Underworld!"
"Betterment?" Leo scoffed, folding his arms. "You mean chaining Rias to someone like you. Sounds more like a favor to me."
Riser's flames intensified, but he extinguished them with a sharp gesture, forcing a smirk back onto his face. "Fine," he said coldly. "You've left me no choice. I challenge you to a Rating Game."
Leo arched a brow. "And why should I accept?"
"Because you've broken a political marriage," Riser snapped. "It's my right to demand satisfaction. You'll have ten days to prepare. But when we meet in the arena…" His grin turned sinister. "I'll burn you to ashes. Then Rias will finally be mine."
Without another word, Riser turned and disappeared in a flash of flames, his peerage following behind him.
The room was still, the tension lingering like a storm about to break. Rias knelt beside Leo once more, her hand brushing his cheek. "Leo," she whispered, her voice trembling. "What were you thinking? He could've killed you."
Leo clenched his fists, his mind flashing back to Riser's sneering face, to the haunted looks of his peerage, to Asia's fear. "I couldn't just stand there," he said softly. "Not after what he did… what he's done to them."
Grayfia stepped forward, her expression impassive but her words firm. "You have ten days to prepare," she said. "Use them wisely."
Rias nodded, determination hardening her features. "We'll be ready," she said. "Together, we'll end this."
Leo took a deep breath, his eyes meeting hers. "I'm sorry," he said quietly. "I dragged you all into this mess."
Issei threw an arm over Leo's shoulder, grinning. "Nah, man. We're in this together. And besides, I could use the training."
Kiba smirked, his hand resting on the hilt of his sword. "It's the perfect opportunity to improve."
Akeno giggled softly. "Oh, this will be entertaining," she said, her eyes glinting with mischief.
Even Koneko gave a small nod, her voice flat but resolute. "Let's fry that chicken."
Rias's gaze lingered on Leo, her heart swelling with determination and something deeper. Together, they would fight—and she knew they would win.
