Third Person POV
The Great Prince led Bambi and Jeanette down a little path in the forest. Bambi held his head high and said to himself, "Feel the forest!" He was remembering the advice his father had given him earlier when it came to observation. Trouble was, he wasn't looking where he was going!
"Bambi!" the Great Prince cried out before his son bumped into a tree.
"Are you okay, Bambi?" Jeanette asked with concern.
"Felt it!" the fawn answered with a grin.
"Oh, Bambi!" Jeanette said with an understanding smile.
The three of them walked through a little pond; Bambi and the Great Prince walked through with ease, but Jeanette (being a girl in a fox's body) had to swim!
Soon, the trio arrived at the bottom of a rocky hill. Bambi sighed as he knew he probably would not make it to the top, but Jeanette coaxed him, "You can do it, Bambi!" The fawn repeatedly climbed up the rocks with some mishaps until his father helped him along.
Why does winter always make you wait
For a glimpse of the sun?
Takes a simple clue or leap of faith
To know the time will come
The Great Prince jumped over a big, fallen log, and Bambi and Jeanette were both impressed by the big jump. First, Jeanette walked backwards, and then she ran to do a big jump just like the big buck, but she ended up landing on top of the log on her belly. She just giggled and slid off of the log just before Bambi made his attempt to jump. This time, the young fawn succeeded by doing a large jump over the log!
"Nice job, Bambi!" Jeanette grinned to him with pride.
The Great Prince was also very impressed as his son happily pranced past him.
When long, cold nights
Fade into memory
Looking at the light
And we will be together
Leaving our cares behind forever.
The Great Prince was then shown to be rubbing his velvety antlers against a big tree. Bambi rubbed his head against the other side of the tree, only to end up with a messy patch of fur on his head!
"Some hairdo!" Jeanette laughed. She smiled and then rubbed her head against the bottom of the tree before the fur on her head resembled Beaker's hair from The Muppet Show. "Meep, meep!" Jeanette said with a grin; the Great Prince and Bambi just gave her funny looks.
At the first sign of spring
The heat of the sun will shine right through
And never a moment comes too soon
As the first sign of spring
We then go to another part of the forest, where some young bucks were having fights with their antlers. The Great Prince showed his big antlers to Bambi, who smirked before headbutting into his father's head; Bambi fell down on his back in impact.
Jeanette, who was licking up a few beetles and worms, looked over and asked with her mouth full, "You okay, Bambi?"
Bambi just smiled before headbutting at his father again; he got the same result.
As Jeanette continued eating her buggy breakfast, she looked over and saw Thumper and Flower. The bunny made a fighting position and growled at the skunk, who just gasped and ran away. Thumper playfully chased Flower through the grass until Thumper ended up getting chased by his sisters!
"Get him, girls!" Jeanette cheered the cream-colored rabbits, "Girl power rules!"
The Great Prince, Bambi, and Jeanette walked on, but then the girl-turned fox saw a spider's web with some bugs in it. "Oh, poor ladybug!" she gasped as she saw a ladybug about to become a spider's snack.
Bambi went over and took the ladybug out of the web with his hoof, and the red insect flew away home as the Great Prince and Jeanette smiled sweetly.
Air is getting warmer by the day
As the thaw begins
So put a corner on this page
And the leaves are green again
Bambi, Jeanette and the Great Prince were back in the forest, and Bambi was practicing with observing. He shut his eyes very tight until he cried out, "I hear it! I hear it!" Then, the young prince ran across the forest towards the meadow.
"Be careful, Bambi!" Jeanette called to him.
And cloudy skies are lifting away
Right in front of our very eyes
And we will be together
At the first sign of spring!
Bambi arrived at the meadow and saw many deer prancing about. He gasped with wonder as Jeanette caught up with him. But soon, Ronno appeared and ran onto the top of a big boulder. The older fawn smirked and scoffed before running off.
"Oh, the nerve of that imbecile!" Jeanette cursed with a glare as Bambi's smile dropped.
The Great Prince caught up to the two friends, and Bambi asked his father, "When will I get antlers?"
"Won't be long now," the Great Prince smiled to him.
"I'd say in a few months," Jeanette added.
"If you're anything like I was," the big buck said to his son.
"Am I?" asked Bambi.
"Well, only one way to find out!" the Great Prince said as he darted into the meadow.
"Come on, Bambi!" Jeanette added as she followed the big buck.
Bambi followed the two, and soon, the Great Prince was running with the herd of bucks.
Ronno saw the Great Prince and gasped, "Cool!" But then, he saw Bambi running faster than he was, while Jeanette pranced and ran along. Ronno frowned and tried catching up to his rivals, but Bambi and Jeanette followed the Great Prince's example and ran faster to catch up with him.
"WOO-HOO!" Jeanette cried out with joy.
Bambi and his father both laughed with glee.
At the first sign of spring
A new season's begun
For a father and son
And everything grows a little faster
Over at a field full of yellow poppies, a grasshopper landed on one of the flowers, and Bambi pounced towards it, making the bug fly away. Bambi then jumped towards his father, sending more grasshoppers flying.
Jeanette sneakily crept upon a few grasshoppers in the poppies, and then she jumped up and pounced on the flowers, making all the grasshoppers fly away. "Well, there goes my lunch!" she joked with a smile and a laugh.
The Great Prince got an idea before he reared up and landed his front hooves into the poppies, sending dozens of grasshoppers flying! Bambi and Jeanette laughed at the stunt. The big buck let out a "Woo-Hoo", and everyone laughed and jumped.
And every moment stretches longer
And it will only get much stronger
Oh, we will be together
Leaving our cares behind forever
At the first sign of spring
Over at a river, Bambi was having a drink when he felt some water splash onto him. He looked over, and saw the Great Prince look down at Jeanette (sitting on his back), as if blaming her. But the fox knew better as she smirked, "He did it!"
Bambi slurped some water into his mouth, and walked over to his father. The Great Prince knew he was going to get payback, judging by his son's chipmunk cheeks, and then ran off further into the water. Jeanette jumped off the big buck's back and into the water; after resurfacing, she laughed as she watched Bambi chase his father before falling on his back and squirting the Great Prince with the water from his mouth.
The heat of the sun will shine right through

As the first sign of spring
At the first sign of spring (2x)
The Great Prince then slid Bambi and Jeanette through a flock of ducks in the water, and the fawn and girl-turned fox both giggled as the big buck laughed. The trio then walked through the river as the sun set in the western part of the sky.
