Chapter 5: Dinner Serve

(Back in the mansion.)

"How is the food… Do you like it?" ask Victor from the other end of the table.

"Is… is good, I have never eaten like this before." The young girl still doesn't know why she was there and why she was treated like that. I think that you and you friend were kidnapped by some bad men, but the police called me for help and I sent a few of my men to find you and your friends. So you are not a prisoner, all of you are free to go at any time… I already called the police so they can pick you all up. But as you look special… and I want to do something for you and get to know you better, that is why I did all of this." The vampire grabs his cup and drinks from it. Then he cleaned his lips with a napkin and put it on the table. "I know that you might want to go… But I would like to show you the rest of my home before you go," He looked into her eyes making sure that the girl did not take her sigh from him.

"I… I will like that." she answered him. She doesn't know this man, but something inside of her can't resist him.

Victor gets up from his chair and walks toward her. "Then let me show you…the rest of my home." he showed her his hand without taking his eyes away from hers. After a minute, the girl took it and let him help her up. "C'mon my beautiful lady… it will be my pleasure to show you around." he kissed the top of the girl's hand softly. Two hours later, Victor showed her most of the mansion. The girl was so surprised by all the things he has in his big home. The place looked like a castle to her and she felt like a princess. She likes some of his paintings, statues and all the old things he has around the house. Ellie was fighting with all her ability. She has already killed a few of the vampires that attack her and like 10 guards with only a few scratches on her body. Even though she already killed some of them, they are too many for her alone. The human guards are easy, but the vampires were well trained this time and were giving her a real fight.

"C'mon… I thought that vampires were better than this… no wonder you're getting extinct." she said before blocking the attack from two vampires. She quickly kicked one away from her and moved toward the other one. After a few crashing swords, Ellie manages to go around him and cut him from behind. The katana was blessed by a father, so the vampire started to turn into ashes as soon as he was stabbed on the back. The other one comes after her but suffers the same fate as the other one. After killing those two Ellie has to run away as more guards come after her. The fight has been going on for almost half an hour and no one has made any progress to catch her.

The vampire in charge of the ship starts to get worried as he looks at the battle down in the room. "Any news from her partner? Or the old man?" he asked his assistant.

"No Sir… the one from outside has not reported yet and the other that are searching the ship for the old man has not found anything yet."

The vampire hit the railing hard and broke it. "Fuck… can anyone here can do something right? First; our people down there can't catch that stupid girl… then the others can't find that old man anywhere…" he said while watching the hunter girl take out five more guards. "Shit… this is going forever… what is it going to take to get that girl." he said before turning his head and looking at the one beside him. "We can risk losing the cargo… so tell the captain that we need to get the ship moving before the police show up… We will take care of the hunters in the open sea."

"But sir… what about the rest of the cargo that is pending."

"Getting this one moving will be better than waiting for the rest and being searched by the police when they get here. Our master will understand and will find a way to send the others to England… right now our priority is to take this one out of here save."

"Okay sir." The vampire takes out his phone and calls the captain. After a few minutes the engine of the ship can be hear around the ship and the alert for departing.

Ellie was killing another vampire, before she noticed the movement. "Oh… no you don't." she said before starting running toward the main door of the cargo hold. She can't let the ship go, because as soon as the ship is out into international waters it will be hard to stop it.

(Outside 20 minutes before)

"Ellie… can you hear me?" Bill was trying for the last 10 minutes to contact Ellie. He lost the communication as soon as she entered the cargo hold, so he suspected that they were jamming the signal. After a few more minutes, the alarm from his drone starts to blink in one of his monitors. He moved quickly to that one and saw the group of guards from outside the ship open the private dock gate and were coming his way. "Shit!" he said before standing up from the chair on the back and moving quickly toward the front of the van. He sat in the driver seat and saw some of them already in front of the van with guns in hand.

"Shot him down," said one of the guards before the rest started shooting at the van. Bill moved down on instinct, but lucky for him the van window was bullied prof so none of them went through.

They continue for a few minutes before stopping. As the rain of bullets stopped, Bill moved up again and looked at them. "Did you just shoot my baby? You will pay for that… asshole." he said before pushing a few buttons on his dash console. Quickly all the ultraviolet light from the roof of the van turns on illuminating all around it. Among the guards were a few vampires that quickly ran away from the light as it hit them.

"Take them down." one of them screamed while smoke came out of his body in a painful way.

The human guards start to shoot again, taking down some of the light. Bill touches another button and two machine guns get out from a panel on the side of the van and start shooting at them. He takes some of the guards down, but the rest move around the van and start to shoot again at the light and the guns. Soon all the lights were out and the guns disabled, Bill realize that if they knew that he was there Ellie must be in real trouble inside. He has to do something, but even though he killed a lot of the guards, more are still around him. Bill needs to find a way to get Ellie out of that ship. He already called the cops, but he doesn't know when they will be here. He knew that this was a trap, but they only needed to find the people and get out. But never thing go the way they wanted.

Quickly Bill turns on the engine and turns the front light on. He changed them to ultraviolet just in case the vampire attacked him from the front, but soon he started to drive off, he saw a group of guards moving in front of him and one of them had a rocket launcher. "You have to be kidding me." he said before watching the rocket be launched toward him. Bill pushes the acceleration pedal all the way down and turns the wheel to the side to avoid the coming missile. But it was too late, even though the projectile didn't impact him directly, the explosion was close enough to send the van flying to the side by the explosion.

A few minutes later, Bill opened his eyes and saw the fire around the van and some small one inside. Most of his equipment was trashed inside the van, so he needed to get out. He needed to grab his laptop from the back before the destroyer too. But as soon as he tried to move he felt pain on his leg, some other parts of his body. Motherfuckers… they will pay for hurting- he started before hearing something hitting the front windshield. He looked forward as some blood came out from his forehead. After a few minutes the windshield got broken and he saw an arm moving toward him.

"Come here… you pig bastard." said one of the vampires that had his face half burned from the ultraviolet light Bill used on them.

"Arrrghhh!" Bill screamed in pain as he was pulled out of the van. He was injured so it hurt when the vampire pulled him out through the windshield. Soon he was out, the vampire that pulled him out raised his body up a little so Bill could see him in the eyes.

"Look what you did to me… you piece of meat." he said with a furious tone. The rest of the guard and vampires surround the man as they finally catch him. "I will make you suffer for this." The vampire took out his fang and was going to bite Bill, but before he did an arrow went into his head from the back making his head exploded a few seconds later. Bill was splashed with blood mostly in his face. The rest of the vampire body starts to get reduced to ashes before Bill falls into the ground hard. He hissed in pain as he tried to understand what was happening.

"What the hell was that?" ask another vampire before being hit by another arrow in his chest. Killing him too in a few seconds.

"They are more… of them… take cover.' one of the guards said before they started shooting around them.

Out of nowhere Bill saw a man moving fast between the guards and started to kill some of them without much of an effort. More and more explosions start to take place around him. The guard was trying to hit the new coming, but they were not lucky. The shooting continues for a while before Bill closes his eyes and goes unconscious.

(Sometime later)

Bill didn't remember what happened after he went unconscious or how much time passed. But as soon as he opened his eyes he was still on the ground, seated against a wall from one of the buildings that were close to where he had his van parked. Fuck… my baby. He move one hand and touch his forehead. He saw the blood on his hand and felt the pain in his body, but what surprised him more was the face of the man kneeling in front of him.

"Joel?" he asked as soon as he cleared his eyes and looked at the man's face.

The man moved a little closer. "Not quite… but that will confirm that you know him," he said before a woman appeared behind him with two long bloody knives in her hands.

The woman starts to clean the knives on her pants before put them back on the holster on her waist. "I think that we take care of all of them… well the one that we're here anyway." she said before looking down at Bill and hear the man start to ask him questions. "What the hell are you doing? You don't see that the poor man is hurt?"

"Don't worry too much… he will live… besides I was just starting." said the man before turning his head around to look at the dead bodies around them. "Damn woman… You're supposed to leave at least one of them alive… dead people don't talk."

The woman turned her head and looked at him. "Don't be so dramatic… beside you're the one that kills most of them…" she said before looking back at Bill. "Anyway, we still have one here that can tell us what this is all about.." The woman lowered herself in front of Bill who was still confused about what just happened here and who are those two. "Are you Bill Clayton?" the woman asked while looking at him directly in his eyes.

"Look… I don't know who you're or why… you-" Bill stopped there. He looks at them and even though they save him, he doesn't know who they're or what they want. The man looks a lot like Joel, he better play a safe card here. "I don't know what you want for me… but thanks for…" he stopped when the woman moved closer to him.

She put a hand on his shoulder and started looking for a bite or a serious injury. "Do they bite you? Or you're hurt badly?" said the woman while checking him up.

Bill looks at her, then back to the man standing behind her. "Who are you people?" Bill was trying to find out who they are, but at that moment he remembers that Ellie must be in trouble inside the ship. "Look, thank you for saving my life… but I need to get inside the ship that is in dock number 6." Bill started to get up, but stopped when his leg and the rest of his body started to hurt."

"I don't think that you will be able to go anywhere. You are injured and lose some blood." She looked back to the dock on the other side. "What is on that ship that the vampires wanted to protect this much?" she said calmly, but the man behind her was not so much.

"Stop wasting time… honey… we didn't come here for this." The man grabbed Bill by his shirt and moved him up a little to face him. " I don't care who you're or what you do business here. We only save you because we need some information from you… so stop whining and tell me where he is?" now Bill knows who this man was and maybe he can use that to help Ellie.

"Jesus Tommy… and I thought that you're the nice one." said the woman before putting her hand on the man's shoulder. "Let him go… he will not be useful to us dead." Tommy looks at Bill with mad eyes, but lets him go when the woman squeezes his shoulder hard. Tommy was not happy, but he released him. "I don't know why we bother with him… they don't even know what they're doing." Soon Tommy moved away and the woman lowered herself again.

"You have to forgive my husband…" the woman turned her head and looked at Tommy. "Age has made him a little… she stops and shakes her head. "More like his brother…" the woman turned her head back at Bill. "My name is Maria and he is Tommy… we don't want to be so rude, but we need some information from you."

"Yeah… tell him all about us… that will be a good idea," said Tommy, protesting from behind her.

Maria turns her head again and looks at him. "It will be better if they know who we're and that we're on the same side…"

"You kill all those guards and the…" he stops there but as what he saw they know what the others are. "Are you hunters too? And why are you looking for Joel?"

"Yeah… you can say that. We came here from another country and we really need to find Joel… we know that came here to America looking for something."

Tommy moves closer and looks at Bill. "We know that he killed a vampire named David with the help of a girl and a big man… so we're been looking for him since we arrived here. But the only club we have is that he spends some time with you and the girl… so where is he?"

"Look I don't know how you know all that or why you're looking for him… but the girl you mention is inside that ship and she needs my help. So if you want to know where Joel is… you need to help me to save her."

Maria turns her head toward the ship and so does Tommy. "Are you telling me that the girl is inside there?" she said with a surprised tone.

"Yes… we're hunters too and we came to rescue a group of teenagers that were kidnapped by the vampires. They are working in this city and if we don't do something she can end up dead." he said while looking at them in their eyes. "Joel was close to Ellie, so she is the only one that could help you to find him. Ellie finds out that they are trafficking a lot of people out of this country on that ship. So if you're really hunters… you need to do something." Slowly and with pain Bill gets up and uses the building wall to stay standing. "They destroy my baby, so I have no way to help her… But you can." At that moment the horn of the ship sounds and that means that the ship is departing.

"They're leaving." said Maria before standing up and moving beside Tommy. "We don't have any choice now… we need to get the girl out of there."

"That is if she is still alive... You saw all the guards and the vampires they have out here so you can imagine what they have in there," said Tommy.

"And when does that stop us?" Maria moves closer and kisses him. "C'mon… let's save that girl."
