Coast of Wretched Woods
"Come on we need to find a boat! You can sail can't ya?!" Joy Boy asked.
Kotatsu looked around.
"I-I learned to sail during my time with the Shadowkin yes.. but do you really expect to find a boat fit enough for sail in this wreckage sir?" Kotatsu asked.
"THERE!" Joy Boy laughed.
A lone life boat had survived the earlier onslaught.
"K-King are you sure about this? I mean, a life boat? Let's just have a ship built for you!" Kotatsu recommended, "If you really want to be a pirate let the Kingdom help you see your dream! You don't have to take this route."
"Shut up! Let's sail!" Joy Boy yelled, running to the boat.
"Oh, goodness.." Kotatsu said, running after Joy Boy.
Tunnels of the Catacombs of Broken Wills
Val, Humberger, Gervais, The Elders & Ju Peter, walked through one of the tunnels underground that connected to Val's hideout.
"This.. is surprisingly well made.." St. Mars said.
"I'm afraid I'll have to agree." St. Saturn said.
"And your kind is responsible?"St. Topman asked Humberger.
Humberger ignored the elder.
"I don't believe I was talking to myself." St. Topman said.
"I ain't got nothin' to say to you." Humberger spit.
"Answer our guests..." Val said passive aggressively, "Before I lose my temper."
Humberger grimaced.
"Yeah.. the Dwarves carved these tunnels.. we moved underground decades ago and have been constructing these tunnels for just as long." Humberger said.
"To escape the hell up top." St. Ethan said.
"Yeah.. exactly." Humberger said.
"And how exactly did a Dwarf and a corpse team up?.. What's your story?" St. Mars asked Val.
Val smiled and snickered softly.
"If we are going into battle together I guess it would be polite to inform you of my background." Val said.
Val looked down and smiled to himself.. trying to contain his anger. Humberger looked back at Val out the corner of his eyes.
Val lifted his head and looked up as everyone continued to walk, his hands still behind his back.
"It was twenty-three years ago. The night I died and came back, the night I obtained the ultimate power.. the beginning.. of everything." Val said.
Dubois Castle (Present Day)
"We were finally somewhere safe and could get proper rest for the night. I assumed we would be taken to Joy Boy first thing in the morning, so we could get all this mess straightened out." Dubois said.
"But.. it still wasn't that easy, was it?" Sakura asked softly.
Dubois looked at Sakura.
"Yes, it was pretty easy getting to Joy Boy's Kingdom from the desert." Dubois said.
Sakura made a shocked and angry face while Kakashi developed a sweat drop and Sasuke smirked.
"Oh-Oh my!.." Dubois let out.
"M-Mr. Dubois.." Law said.
Everyone was surprised Law spoke up, except Kraken, who was still napping against Dubois's ice chair.
"Yes, Mr. Trafalgar?" Dubois asked politely.
"That undead guy.." Law started.
"Wilmot?" Dubois asked.
"No!" Law yelled, "Val.. I can't stop thinking about his involvment in your story." Law admitted.
Dubois looked down.
"Oh, I see.. what is it you're curious about?" Dubois asked.
Law grit his teeth with nervousness.
"I apologize.. if i'm asking you to skip ahead in your story, but.. what ever happened to him?" Law asked.
Dubois's eyes widened slowly with slight surprise.
"I-I just can't help but wonder.. with all he was responsible for.. he couldn't have gone out kindly.." Law said.
Everyone looked at Law and back at Dubois.
Dubois looked up.
"Well..it's kind of funny you asked.. you weren't going to hear his name in this story anymore anyway.." Dubois said.
Everyone, especially Law, was shocked at this reveal.
Dubois was silent for a moment.
"..I wouldn't know what happened to him.. because I never saw him again." Dubois said softly.
Catacombs of Broken Wills (Tunnels)
"Joy Boy and I, along with a large group of Secret Order members and our top general at the time, had made our way to the Rainbow Woods. Joy Boy wanted to speak to the man who called himself "king" of those woods, who granted Joy Boy the meeting. His name was Jambavan, he was a human at this time." Val said.
"His appearence has changed since?" Ju Peter asked.
"Yes. Jambavan is a skinwalker now, and a very powerful one at that." Val said.
Ju Peter grit his teeth.
"It just keeps coming back to those things.." Ju Peter thought.
"So this island has two kings?" St. Topman asked.
"Technically three.." St. Mars said.
"Counting the Lecnian's body." St. Saturn said.
"That's three kings too many!" St. Ethan said, annoyed.
"I agree!" Val said, looking back, before looking forward again, "Which is why I hoped to convince Joy Boy to have Jambavan step down, for the sake of order."
The Rainbow Woods (926 Years ago)
The normally rainbow leaves of the trees were a dark blue from the cloudy night sky.
A large group of knights marched through the dark woods.
The group was led by a certain man with slicked back brown hair and silver armor, who walked close to another member of the Secret Order, a human Raizin, and Joy Boy.
Mario wore Secret Order Armor but had no facial hair and his hair was cut short, his knight helmet hanging off his waist.
Joy Boy wore his gold armor, his straw hat hanging around his neck.
Mario whispered to another knight.
"Hey, why doesn't the king like to wear his crown again?" Mario asked.
"Eyes forward rookie!" The knight yelled.
Mario snapped forward.
"Sheesh... you can't even ask questions?" Mario said.
Someone tapped Mario on the shoulder from behind.
Mario looked back at a bald man who had a soft smile on his face, he was also a rookie of the Secret Order.
ALMOND "THE SOFTSPOKEN"
"I've heard the king doesn't care for his title all that much." Almond said.
Mario looked at Joy Boy then back at Almond.
"What? All that money and power? He just doesn't care?" Mario asked.
Almond smiled.
"It appears so. It's fascinating to me to tell the truth." Almond said.
"Why doesn't the guy just give the throne up?" Mario asked.
"Well, according to the generational rules around it, the throne can only be passed on to a direct relative." Almond said, "The only problem is.. after the last king died, there's no one else to take the throne if something happens to King Joy Boy." Almond explained.
Mario was surprised.
"What-What.. what the hell is gonna happen when Joy Boy does pass? Who gets the throne?" Mario asked.
Almond chuckled until it almost turned to laughter.
Almond was shoved from behind by a higher ranking knight.
"Silence! Rookie!" The knight yelled.
Almond snapped forward and looked at Mario, putting his hand to his mouth and whispering.
"Apparently.. the King has already prepared something just for that!" Almond whispered loudly.
Mario looked left and right and back at Almond.
"And what is that?" Mario asked.
"No one knows for sure, but the King has been rumored to have said it would be the biggest game in this island's history!" Almond said.
Mario's eyes widened.
"A-A game? For the throne?..." Mario looked back at Joy Boy.
"This guy.. really is fascinating.." Mario said to himself.
"This place doesn't look so rainbowy to me, Raizin!" Joy Boy yelled.
Raizin, a strong man in Crimson Order armor, three long red ponytails tied together hanging down his back, looked back at Joy Boy.
"I told you we should have come in the day time, King Joy Boy. It was much more beautiful!" Raizin said.
"But if this Jamba-guy says he wants to meet I want to meet him as soon as possible!" Joy Boy said.
"Aye. Which is why we have escorted you here as fast as possible. I must say, this "king" title he holds.. it doesn't bother you? Hierarchies should have one king, one leader above all." Val voiced.
"Says who? Anyone can be a king if they want!" Joy Boy said.
Val twitched.
"Aye, sir, just a thought." Val said, slightly annoyed.
Thunder softly rumbled in the distance.
Catacombs of Broken Wills (Tunnels)
"I did love Joy Boy. Honestly. He and I grew up on this island together. He was like an annoying little brother to me." Val said.
Ju Peter stared at Val angrily, thinking of Joy Boy.
The rest of the Elders continued to listen.
"But things change.. and our thoughts on rulership were clearly different. I mean, an island full of kings? I would never submit to that." Val said.
"How does a man like that even become a King in the first place?" Ju Peter asked angrily.
The Elders looked at Ju Peter.
Val smirked.
"He inherited it. And you know what's even worse? He couldn't care less about the title." Val said.
The Elders and Ju Peter were slightly shocked.
Humberger's expression was hidden by shadow as he waddled, Gervais remained silent as usual.
"I didn't understand.. why? Just why would you not want that kind of authority? What was the point of shaping this island in the image if a man who didn't even respect the position?" Val said.
Silence.
The only thing that could be heard were rats scurrying and footsteps.
"Maybe my betrayal was imminet.. but sometimes I do wonder.. to this very second even.. what would have happened if I didn't die.." Val said softly.
The Rainbow Woods (926 years ago)
The Secret Order company had finally made it to a large wooden house with a grass roof.
Two human guards stood outside dressed in woodland armor.
"What the hell?" Mario chuckled.
"Silence, rookie. Show some respect." Val said.
Mario gulped.
"S-Sorry, sir." Mario said nervously.
Joy Boy smiled.
"Oh don't be so hard on him, Val! Those outfits are funny!" Joy Boy laughed.
The soldiers slammed their staffs on the ground and spoke.
"Welcome! King Joy Boy and the Secret Order! Lord Jambavan is already inside waiting!" The soldiers yelled.
Val smiled smugly and nodded, walking into the wooden house.
The inside was beautiful. There was a large bar area, made from trees and branches of course, with a piano next to it. To the right there were tables for guests to eat, a mini cafe area of sorts.
"Wow.." Almond said.
"This is crazy!" Mario said, excidedly.
"WOOAAHHHHH! JAMBA LIVES HERE?!" Joy Boy yelled.
"Apparently so.." Val said.
Eventually, a tall man wearing gold all all over his body except his torso, which golden chains hung over. The man also wore a tall, golden crown, with red velvet lining the inside.
The man extended his arms.
"Greetings! King Joy Boy and Secret Order! I am Jambavan, you do not have to call me Lord. I am one of you." Jambavan said.
Val held a disgusted face as Joy Boy pushed him from behind, causing Val's expression to be hidden by shadow.
"See Val! Not every King has to rule!" Joy Boy laughed.
"You feel the same, sir?" Jambavan laughed.
Val's eye twitched harder.
Catacombs of Broken Wills (Tunnels)
There was silence.
"Disgusting." St. Topman said.
Val's expression was hidden by shadow.
"Exactly." Val spit, "Ohhhh if you could have felt my rage when I heard those words come out of his mouth." Val said.
Jambavan's Mansion (926 Years ago)
Jambavan led Joy Boy and the Secret Order to a room in the back, a makeshift desk at the end of the room. Jambavan sat behind the desk as Joy Boy sat in front. A big, burly man in silver, spiked armor stood with his arms crossed at Jambavan's side.
NOLROG "THE COLOSSUS"
"And whos is these guys?" Nolrog asked.
"These are our guests. The ones I mentioned earlier." Jambavan said.
"Hrmph!" Nolrog sounded, "Respects the King ever second yur here! Yous gots it? Or I'lls bash your heads with this heres mace!" Nolrog yelled.
"Nolrog please! That's enough. You know I appreciate your undying loyalty but these are very welcome guests!" Jambavan said.
Nolrog backed off.
The rest of the Secret Order sat on their knees around the room.
Val kneeled behind Joy Boy with his head down, trying to hold in his anger from what he's been hearing.
Raizin stood at Joy Boy's side with his hands behind his back.
"When you had your Secret Order reach out to me, I was shocked. I had no idea the King of this island would care about some woodland people." Jambavan said.
"Of course I do! I care about everyone on this island! Your piece of the island is beautiful! That's why I came here first! To propose..." Joy Boy said.
Mario and Almond listened with anticipation.
Val shook to himself.
Jambavan stared at Joy Boy with confusion.
"Your forest becoming an official part of our kingdom in the middle of the island!" Joy Boy said with a big smile.
Jambavan was shocked but filled with excitement.
"R-Really?" Jambavan asked.
"Of course! You will have access to the Kingdom and all of our resources! I hope to spread this to the entire island! I want everyone to be one!" Joy Boy yelled, his arms outstretched.
Mario smiled, as well as Almond. Raizin gulped and looked at Val, feeling something was off.
Nolrog smiled sinisterly.
"Access? To Everthing?!" Nolrog yelled to himself.
Val's eyes shot open as he looked up.
Jambavan could barely hide his smile.
"I-I...I don't know what to say! This-This is incredible!" Jambavan said as he and Joy Boy stood up at the same time.
Joy Boy extended his hand and smiled big.
Jambavan stared at Joy Boy's hand for a moment before slowly extending his.
Suddenly a massive blast of energy blasted everyone to the side at break neck speeds. Instantly. No one could have seen it coming.
A large chunk of the mansion was blown off. Only leaving the lobby of the mansion standing, albeit barely. The bar and cafe areas were now a complete wreck.
Mario, bloody and bruised, slowly got up, holding his head as his ears rang.
"Ughhh.. what-what was that?..." Mario groaned.
Mario's eyes widened to see most of the Secret Order group had been killed by the sudden impact.
"No..." Mario said as he heard screaming.
Mario looked over to see Almond, incredibly bloody himself, screaming as he held a dead knight. His brother.
"AHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Almond cried as Mario limped up to him.
"WHYYYYYYYYYYYY!" Almond continued to scream as lightning crashed.
Mario finally made it to Almond and leaned down to console him.
"Almond! Hey, look at me! Almond!" Mario yelled, snatching his face.
"Grab-Grab your brother... we need... we need to go find the King... as soon as possible!" Mario choked.
Almond stared through unconcuious eyes. Mario grit his teeth and hugged Almond, who still held his brother in his arms.
"What in the hell was that? Why did that happen?!" Mario yelled to himself.

"What the hell happened?.." St. Mars asked.
Humberger stared ahead with an angry expression.
Val was silent for a moment.
"He happened." Val said, "The Lecnian King."
The Elders were completely shocked.
The Rainbow Forest (923 years ago)
Joy Boy and Val had been blasted miles away into another section of the woods. Both men had been knocked unconscious as the forest slowly turned red.
Elsewhere in the woods, Jambavan slowly woke up and held his head.
"Ughh... wh-where am I?" Jambavan asked out loud, "What happened?"
Jambavan looked to the side and saw a giant pig man in spiky armor slowly getting up, he was bloody and bruised as well.
"L-Lords Jambavan!" Nolrog yelled.
Jambavan looked over at the pig man with confusion.
"Y-Yes? Are you talking to me?" Jambavan asked.
Nolrog was confused.
"Duh! Of course I is! Why ya actin' like yous don't know me?!" Nolrog asked angrily, "Our families have beens close for generations!"
Jambavan painfully stood to his feet.
"I-I'm afraid I don't recall pig man.. maybe you have the wrong guy." Jambavan said.
"Wh-What? What the hell is you talkin' about Jambavan?!" Nolrog yelled, "Now yer name callin'?!"
"Grrrr. You really are a pig man!" Jambavan yelled back.
Nolrog was hurt, confused, and felt betrayed.
"What the hells gotten into you?! You actin' like this cause of dat plan dat King was yappin' about?!" Nolrog growled as steam escaped his body, his armor glowing white.
Jambavan stared with shock
"Finally showing yours greedy nature! Well I'll kills the both of ya! And takes the throne for myself!" Nolrog yelled, covering the area in steam. Boiling Jambavan's skin.
"ARGH! That's insanely hot!" Jambavan yelled in pain.
"I'S DISOWNS ALL OF IT! EVERYTHING OUR FAMILY DIDS WAS FOR YA'LL AND DIS HOW YOU START TALKIN' WHEN POWER PRESENT ISTELF?!" Nolrog yelled.
Nolrog continued pumping the area with steam until someone could be heard screaming.
Nolrog looked back as Jambavan leaned to the side to see a man sized elk running towards them with fear in his eyes.
"Whats in the world?!" Nolrog yelled.
"A-An Elk man?" Jambavan asked.
"RUNNNNNN! IT'S-IT'S RELENTLESS! IT WON'T STOP! THE FLAMES! THE FLAMES ARE DESTROYING EVERYTHING!" The elk man yelled.
Nolrog choked the elk man.
"Holds it! What're you talkin' about Elk?! What's coming?!" Nolrog yelled.
"L-Let him go!" Jambavan yelled.
Nolrog looked at Jambavan angrily.
"P-Please let me go! It's-It's coming!" The elk man cried.
Nolrog looked back at the Elk man and began using his steam to burn the elk man alive.
Jambavan grimaced.
"STOP! RIGHT NOW!" Jambavan yelled.
"SHADDAP! I'S DON'T LISTEN TO YOU NO MORE TRAITOR!" Nolrog yelled, as the elk man continued to scream.
Jambavan held his head as his body shined golden, Nolrog was shocked.
"H-Huh?!" Nolrog let out.
Jambavan lifted his head in rage as his eyes shined golden and the red ruby in his crown shined red, blasting a sharp, precise beam through Nolrog's chest, stopping his attack. But it was too late for the Elk man.
Nolrog coughed up blood as he fell over.
"C-Curse yous.. yous traitor.." Nolrog said, falling over, presumably dead.
Jambavan barely had time to process what just happened as his back suddenly felt hotter.
STOMP STOMP STOMP STOMP STOMP STOMP STOMP STOMP STOMP!
Heavy stomps sounded behind Jambavan as he looked back to see a giant, flame covered boar charging straight for him.
"Wh-What is that!" Jambavan yelled, grabbing his golden staff and running off.
Further in the forest, Joy Boy slowly woke up coughing from the, now burning, woods and fell back against a tree.
"Ughhhh..." Joy Boy groaned and coughed before looking ahead at Val.
Val had barely regained consciousness as he looked up to see the forest completely ablaze, and Joy Boy staring at him with worry.
Before Val could speak, Joy Boy ran off, Nolrog running by moments later holding a torch to his chest to cauterize his wound.
"Was-Was that.. that idiot soldier that worked with Jambavan?... Why is he a pig?!" Val yelled to himself, "What the hell is going on?!"
Val's eyes widened as he sat up to see his entire lower body under a tree that had been sliced by Jambavan's crown beam.
Val turned to the burning forest.
"H-HEY! JOY BOY!" Val yelled.
Val tried to push the tree, with no luck. Val began to develop tears as he punched the tree with rage.
"Why did he just up and leave?! Why didn't he help me?! I'll be burned alive!!!" Val screamed as lightning crashed again over the burning forest.
Val slammed his hands against the tree and pushed the tree with all his might, his arms becoming black and his eyes glowing red. The tree eventually rolled off his legs. Val stared at his hands with shock.
"Wh-what was that power I just felt?! That was amazing!" Val shouted, "It felt like.. the same power that crashed into us moments ago!"
Val stood up and looked around the blazing forest.
"What the hell caused this fire?" Val wondered, running into the blaze to find answers.
Mario was able to help the unconscious Almond maneuver through the blaze until they got to a clearing where Jambavan and Joy Boy had already met up. Along with a certain diplomat.
"Who-Who is that?!" Mario asked.
"It's Raizin, boy!" Raizin hissed, now a komodo dragon lizard man.
"HAHAHA whatever that blast was made Jamba and Raizin cool looking! I wish I got turned into a lizard or a bear!" Joy Boy yelled.
"Hello young knight.. apparently my name is Jambavan and I'm a bear.. that's all I know about myself.. I've got quite the case of amnesia.." Jambavan said.
"I'm glad you guys are okay!" Joy Boy smiled.
Mario looked to the side.
"One of us is.." Mario said sadly, looking at an unconcious Almond and his brother.
"Oh my.." Jambavan said.
"Wh-Where's Val?" Mario asked.
Joy Boy looked to the side sadly,
"He-He's dead, Mario... Val is dead!" Joy Boy screamed with tears in his eyes.
Mario couldn't believe what he heard.
Catacombs of Broken Wills (Tunnels)
"..." Val was silent.
Gervais and Humberger continued to walk. Humberger grimaced.
The Elders continued to stare at Val as he told his story.
The tunnels were silent once more, until Val sighed.
"Lord Fenxgi was the cause of the fire that night, until Joy Boy and Jambavan used their new power to end up stopping him. When everything was cleared up and Lords of the Lands were to be "respected as friends" the Secret Order pushed the narrative that Nolrog was responsible, because who was here to say otherwise?" Val said.
"Me, however? I eventually made it back to Jambavan's, now burning, destroyed house that was the size of a hut now. Outside were several bodies of knights of the Secret Order. When I went to check on them.. each one I touched.. came back to life.. completely loyal to me.." Val said, looking at his hands.
Val looked back out the corner of his eyes.
"My next plan was already clear.. Joy Boy and I were clearly meant to become enemies, so I figured I would create my own faction.. of the Undead! To conquer this island!" Val yelled, "But.."
The Elders listened.
"I needed bodies... lots and lots of bodies! But where would I get them? Of course I planned to dig up any and all graves I could find but that wouldn't be enough." Val said.
"I decided I would think on it later as I took my group of undead nights and led us out of the burning forest." Val continued.
"The eastern side of the island was affected the most from the energy wave." Val said, "What was the Midfrost Tundra, the snow people, was now packed with ogres of all sorts!" Val said.
"And how did you end up teaming up with creatures like those?" St. Saturn asked.
"Simple. Most Ogres are as dumb as apes. I gave them one offer. Power, or death." Val said.
"Some hours after our arrival, a boat docks at the ports and the Shadowkin... bring him.." Val said softly.
Ogetara Wharf (Ogryn Ports, 926 years ago)
The Shadowkin had docked at the Ogetara Wharf and got off the ship, a young Kotatsu was with them.
Val, his undead knights, and Dock keeper Nuk, who was now a big purple ogre, approached the Shadow kin.
"You're.. the Shadowkin aren't you? What are you doing here?" Val asked.
A deformed shinobi stared at Val and his soldiers with awe.
"Y-You're undead! You were brought back to life.. by that power?" The shinobi asked Val.
Val looked at his hands.
"It would appear that way." Val said, holding his head high.
"So I assume.. you brought those men behind you back to life as well?! Would-Would you please.. bring our leader back to life?!" The shinboi begged.
Val's eyes widened slowly as the Shadowkin showed them their deceased leader.
"He-He fell ill but died on the way here.. we were trying to find help for him! We're all criminals where we're from so we couldn't go anywhere on our island!" The shinobi said.
Val scoffed.
"So you come here? Where you're also wanted and with the ridiculous request of bringing your dead leader back to life? What do I gain? Get out of here." Val said, walking off.
"Wait!" The shinobi yelled. Val looked back.
"We know what caused that shockwave of energy.. we have it with us!" The shinobi said.
Val's eyes widened.
"You're bluffing. The energy that did all this to us? To you?!" Val yelled in disbelief.
The shinobi didn't say a word as Burusu's body was carried off the boat. Val couldn't believe what he was seeing.
"Wh-Who.. is that?" Val asked.
"We believe his name.. is King Burusu.. he was recently involved in a fight inside the great Volcano on our island.. for what we don't know, but we know he has a son, someone must have already nabbed him, but we have the next best thing!" The shinobi explained.
"The last thing he did.. before his fight ended.. was call upon a beam from the moon itself! It blasted into the volcano.. sending shockwaves of his power all over for kilometers!" The shinobi said.
Val couldn't believe it, so that's what that was. What kind of power was that?
"Touch him..." The shinobi said.
Val looked at the shinobi with shock and confusion.
"The closer you are to his body.. the more drastic his power takes hold of you!" The shinobi said.
Val looked over the shinobi, all of them had been distorted in some way. Glowing bodies, eyes, and weapons. Val thought back to the power he used to push the tree off of himself and of course, his undead abilities.
Val gulped and slowly reached out to touch Burusu's body.
Before Vlad could, Burusu's head shot towards Val with glowing blue eyes. Burusu's armor shone blue as it blinded everyone momentarily.
Val blocked his eyes and lowered his hands, as well as everyone else.
"What did he do?" Val asked as a Shadowkin shinobi looked back at the water with fear.
"TS-TSUNAMI! IT'S A MONSTER!" The shinobi yelled.
Val looked up with shock to see the massive wave coming straight for them! Everyone began to retreat inside the prison. Val smiled as the first shinobi looked back at Val.
"So we have a deal?!" The shinobi asked.
Val continued to smile as he nodded slowly.
"Yes.. we have a deal.. we'll bring your leader back to life.. and you all as well!" Val yelled as Nuk and dead knights pushed the Shadowkin into the water.
Kotatsu was able to slip past and begin to run. Val looked over at the boy.
"Kill the boy! Do not let him escape!" Val yelled as Ogres and dead nights chased the young Kotatsu into the snowy forest.
Val looked back at Burusu's body and picked it up, pointing it at the tsunami.
"Come on... come on!" Val yelled as Burusu's eyes shot open once more and his body glowed white.
Just as the waves hit the port, Burusu's body exploded in a ball of wind! Dispersing the entire tsunami.
Val brought Burusu's body down and stared at it with awe and excitement.
"Nuk! Take him inside the prison.. to the catacombs." Val said. Nuk grunted and did as he was told.
Val looked up to the sky.
"Joy Boy... you will pay.. and I will rip you from that throne... to rule this island how it should! JOY BOYYYYYYY!" Val yelled into the stormy sky.
Catacombs of Broken Wills (Tunnels)
"The rest is history. I stumbled upon Humberger's home exploring this same tunnel not long after Burusu's body was in position. I knew underground would be perfect.. and even if someone did get to my chamber, I would retreat here, and the Dwarves would get rid of them." Val explained, "Or lose them in the maze of tunnels."
"It's as Humberger said, the Dwarves have been treated unfairly even before Life Force. We were both let down by the same person, so naturally Humberger made the correct decision to stand at my side." Val said.
Humberger grit his teeth angrily.
"And that's all there is to it. Now you know everything." Val said.
The Elders were silent, there wasn't much to say, their questions were answered.
"Ah. Finally." Val said, as he and the company stepped into a gigantic opening.
It was an entire undergound sand city, built by the Dwarves.
"Wh-What is this?" St. Ethan asked.
"Home.." Humberger said.
Gervais stood with his arms crossed.
"This is where we go our seperate ways. There are seperate tunnels at different ends of the city that will get you where you need to go." Val said.
The Elders looked at each other and nodded.
Val looked at them all.
"One more question." St. Topman said.
Val looked at St. Topman.
"What do we do.. once we've become our desired skinwalker?" St. Topman asked.
"We will meet back at your "Holy Land" and will not act on phase two until everyone has returned, do I make myself clear?" Val asked.
The Elders nodded as did Val.
Ju Peter walked off with Mars, Gervais with Topman, Humberger with Saturn, leaving Val and St. Ethan.
Val turned to look at St. Ethan.
"Shall we? Mr. Nusjuro?" Val asked.
