Chapter 54.
Villains on the island.
Yamikumo and the rest of the villains finally finish crossing the forests to finally reach the main city. – "Here we are... the main city of Nabu Island."- Yamikumo said.
- "This place looks... quiet."- Dabi said.
- "According to reports, this island is quite isolated from the rest of society, therefore there is almost no type of villain activity."- Yamikumo said.
- "So there are no heroes here either?"- Toga asked.
- "No, as I understand there are some heroes, but none of them would be prepared for a fight against a villain, normally they deal with minor crimes."- Yamikumo said. – "So as long as we don't attract attention, nothing will happen to us."-
- "And where is that child? / I know where he is!"- Twice said.
- "All we know is what he looks like and that he lives in this city with his sister, we have to look for him."- Yamikumo said.
- "Well… what are we waiting for?"- Dabi said for everyone to start walking in the city. – "It's going to be very strange to walk down the street without anyone looking at me strangely."-
- "Yeah…"- Toga said.
- "That means the disguises work."- Yamikumo said.
- "Hey, you four!"- A person catches their attention, making them tense. – "You must be tourists, right?"- The man asked.
- "Eh... Yes, we are, how did you know?"- Yamikumo asked.
- "This island is small; all the inhabitants know each other and I know that you are tourists since it is the first time that I see you."- The man said. – "Can I help you with something?"-
- "Yes… We are looking for a place to stay, as close as possible to the city and the beach."- Yamikumo said.
- "In that case you can stay at the Nabu Grand Hotel, it is a good place since it is close enough to the city if you want to visit it and it is also close to the beach if you want to go swimming." – The man said. - "Just follow this street straight and you will find it."-
- "Thanks."- Yamikumo said.
Without further ado, the four follow the indicated path. – "Are we really going to go to that hotel?"- Dabi asked.
- "We need a place to stay while we wait for Nine to arrive."- Yamikumo said.
- "And how will we do it? No matter how isolated the place is, we can't go around giving our names."- Dabi said.
- "So we'll use fake names." - Yamikumo said once the group arrives at the aforementioned hotel, upon entering Yamikumo approaches the reception. – "Hello, they told us that this hotel is one of the best, I would like to know if you have a room available for four people."-
- "Good afternoon, of course, we have a room."- The receptionist said. – "I'll just need your names."-
- "Of course, my name is... Izuku."- Yamikumo said. – "The girl next to me is..."-
Without letting Yamikumo finish speaking, Toga grabs Yamikumo's arm, leaning on it. – "I'm his girlfriend!"- She said.
Yamikumo wanted to facepalm, but he can't. - "Right... Her name is... Hikari.". Yamikumo said. – "The man next to us is... Yuji and the white-haired boy is... Toya."-
Hearing that Dabi frowns at Yamikumo. – "You son of a…"- He thought.
- "Perfect, how many days do you plan to stay?"- The receptionist asked.
- "We don't have a return date yet... so for now it will be a week."- Yamikumo said.
- "Perfect, it would be 87305.16 yen."- The receptionist said.

- "Here you go."- Yamikumo said paying with a card.
- "Perfect, enjoy your visit, Izuku-kun."- The receptionist said. – "Your room is number 219, it is on the second floor."-
- "Thanks." - Yamikumo said taking the keys to the room, after which the four of them went up to their hotel room. – "Here we are, a place to rest that will undoubtedly be better than the place the league has right now."-
Without thinking twice, Dabi, Toga and Twice jump onto the beds there, the room only has two beds. - "So soft... so comfortable..."- Toga said.
- "I guess it's not bad."- Dabi said.
- "I like this/I hate this!"- Twice said.
- "You welcome."- Yamikumo said. – "Now, we have to plan our movements well, we can't attract attention so looking for Katsuma directly or asking about him is out of the question."-
- "Why do we have to look for him? Let's just wait for Nine to appear and kill him."- Toga said.
- "It is important to find the child, Nine is looking for him directly and if he finds him before us it could be bad."- Yamikumo said. – "Fighting an enemy that can heal itself is problematic."-
- "So why don't we just kill the child?"- Dabi asked. – "Without the child, Nine would not be able to obtain the quirk."-
- "If we kill him, Nine will lose interest in the island and won't come."- Yamikumo said. – "So we need him alive to attract Nine."-

- "I know it's not the most exciting mission you've ever been on, but it'll get better once Nine and his followers arrive."- Yamikumo said. – "This is the plan, we will divide into two teams, one team will search the area near the beach and the other in the city center area." –
- "Oh, oh!"- Toga said. – "I want to go to the beach, let's go to the beach!"-
- "Okay... Dabi, you and Toga will go to the area near the beach, Twice and I will search the downtown area." – Yamikumo said. – "Remember to use the fake names while we are here."-

Dabi and Toga are walking on the shores near the beach, without yet entering it. – "Have you seen him yet?"- Dabi asks as he refrains from scratching his skin, the patches are bothering him, which is made worse by the sun and sweat.
- "Nope!"- Toga said, for her part she enjoys walking. – "It feels good, doesn't it?"-
- "What do you mean?"- Dabi asked.
- "You know, walking in public without anyone looking at us ugly or strange."- Toga said.
Dabi looks around, it's true, people don't really look at them, they're just two normal people walking. - "Yes, I guess so..."- He said.
- "It's nice... this is the society I want to live in."- Toga said in a different tone than usual, a somewhat... sad tone.
Dabi is shocked to see Toga in a state other than happiness and craziness. – "Society? What are you talking about?"- He asked.
- "I joined the league following Stain's ideals, I want to create a place where I can walk without being judged by people and be accepted for who I am."- Toga said. – "People are so used to the way things are now that they won't change unless they are forced to."-
- "I see..."- Dabi said. – "And I thought you were just a crazy girl who likes blood…I see I was wrong... more or less." –
Toga smiles at Dabi's words. – "And what about you? You never told us why you joined the league, you just said that you follow Stain's ideology and that's it."- She asked.
- "I don't care what society says or what it is like..."- Dabi said. – "For me... the society I want simply has to have certain people dead, other than that I don't care who lives and who doesn't."-
- "Oh... and tell me... Is Himiko Toga part of that society you want?"- Toga asked.
Dabi looks at Toga and then looks away. – "Like I said... I don't care."- He simply said.
- "You're no fun…"- Toga said.
- "And you are very careless, we could have missed our objective and we would have missed it."- Dabi said.
- "I have been paying attention to the road, I just wanted to make some conversation."- Toga said. – "But you always have to be bitter, you're no fun at all."-
- "It's called being focused on the mission."- Dabi said.
- "Whatever...by the way...you got distracted while I was talking to you, didn't you… Toya."- Toga said with a smile.
- "Shut up… Hikari."- Dabi said.

With Yamikumo and Twice.
In another part of the island, Yamikumo and Twice walk in search of Katsuma. – "I must admit, the atmosphere here is nice."- Yamikumo said, and it's true, he is really enjoying walking in this place, despite being in the middle of a mission. – "What do you think?"-
Yamikumo turns to look at Twice who looks distracted. - "Hey!"- He said to call his attention.
This seems to snap Twice out of his thoughts. - "Wha… I… What was the question?"- He asked.
- "He didn't contradict himself… That's progress." – Yamikumo thought. – "I was asking you what you think of the atmosphere of the place, quite calm, don't you think, Yuji?"-
Twice looks around and then nods. - "Indeed, Izuku, quite calm."- At that, Twice's stomach makes a noise. – "Oh… It seems I'm hungry."-
- "Really? We have a mission and..."- Yamikumo didn't finish speaking as his stomach also growled. – "I guess we can take a break for lunch."-
Yamikumo puts his finger on his ear where he has the earpiece. – "Izuku here... are you there Toya, Hikari?"- He asked.
After a few seconds someone responds with an annoyed tone. - *I hate you… What do you want?* - Dabi asked.
- "We haven't found anything, how about you?"- Yamikumo asked.
- *Nothing here either.*- Dabi said.
- "Okay...we'll take a break for lunch; can you find a place to eat?"- Yamikumo said as he looks at Twice who waves him with his arms. – "If possible, make it near the sea."-
- * Sure, I'm hungry anyway.* - Dabi said. – * Alright, we'll see you here... Toya out.*-
- "Alright Yuji... let's get something to eat."- Yamikumo said.

After meeting, the four of them decide to eat at a restaurant near the beach. – "Hello, welcome, can I take your order?"- The waitress asked.
- "I'll have some shrimp."- Yamikumo said.
- "I want grilled fish."- Toga said.
- "Yes... me too, a grilled fish."- Twice said.
- "I want beef."- Dabi said, however he sees how the others are seeing him. – "What?"-
- "We're on the beach and you ask for something that you can find practically everywhere?"- Yamikumo asked.
- "Yes."- Dabi simply said.
- "Alright…" – Yamikumo said.
- "Can I offer you something to drink?"-
- "I'll have a soda."- Yamikumo said.
- "I'll have a blackberry juice."- Toga said.
- "I want beer."- Dabi said.
- "Yes… a beer for me too."- Twice said.
- "Very good, in a moment I will bring you your orders."- The waitress said leaving.
- "So... we haven't found the boy yet..."- Dabi said.
- "No, not yet, although the island is not that big it is difficult to find just one person."- Toga said.
- "Realistically... we have only checked two areas of the island."- Yamikumo said. – "After eating we will check other areas to see if we can find him."-
- "I just hope we find him before that Nine guy comes or this whole thing would have been a waste of time."- Dabi said.
- "At least we were able to visit a place like this."- Toga said. – "For me to be able to be in this place and be treated like a normal person is a victory."-
- "I agree."- Twice said.
- "Yeah… I guess you're right on that."- Dabi said.
Just then, the waitress arrives with the orders. – "Here you go your orders."- The waitress said. – "Enjoy your meal."-
- "We'll talk about this later... for now let's eat."- Yamikumo said, everyone starts to eat, but as soon as Dabi, Toga and Twice take a bite, they are surprised. – "Are you okay?" – Yamikumo asked.
- "This is delicious!"- Toga said.
- "It's been a while since I had a decent meal..."- Dabi said.
- "Delicious!"- Twice said.
Yamikumo just watches as the other eat the food as if it were their first meal in years. - "These guys... I'm starting to feel sorry for them..."- Yamikumo thought about continuing with his meal.
After a while the four of them finish eating and are leaving the restaurant after paying (Yamikumo was the one who paid for everything). – "Tell me... Izuku, where do you get the money to pay for this?"- Twice asked.
- "It's some money I had saved."- Yamikumo said.
- "How much do you have? And how can you use it?"- Dabi asked.
- "First, enough to continue paying for food for the rest of the week, second, just because I'm with you doesn't mean I automatically lose my money."- Yamikumo said. - "Now that we've eaten, let's go back to business."-
- "Okay... but we can change partners, I don't want to be with the bitter man."- Toga said pointing at Dabi.
- "Alright, Toya, with me, Hikari and Yuji, you search the commercial area, we will search the residential area."- Yamikumo said.
- "Let's just get this over with, I'm sick of being called that name."- Dabi said.
- "Very well, when the sun goes down we will meet in the hotel room."- Yamikumo said and then left with Dabi.
- "Alright, let's go Jin... I mean, Yuji-kun."- Toga said.
- "Right behind you, Hikari-chan."- Twice said.

- "Seriously...why did you have to choose that name for me?"- Dabi asked.
- "I didn't do it on purpose... it was the first thing that I could think of."- Yamikumo said.
- "Still... I don't think I can take being called that for any longer."- Dabi said. – "There are a lot of names you could say... but no, you had to say Toya."-
Dabi continues his complaints until Yamikumo silences him by nudging him lightly with his elbow to get his attention. – "What?"- Dabi asks and Yamikumo gestures him to look in the same direction as him.
On the other side of the street, there are two children walking holding hands.
The first one is a small girl with dark brown eyes, straight brown hair styled into pigtails with dark pink bubble-shaped bands, and a small patch of freckles in the middle of her face. She wears a pink dress with dark pink overall straps and buttons over a black tank top, and white sandals with a pink stripe wrapping around the sole, and dark pink flower decorations at the sides. On her left wrist is a bracelet with a floral charm, identical to the one her brother wears. She also wears a large sun hat with a dark pink scarf and bow at the crown and a light pink stripe at the rim.
While the other is the boy they have been looking for, Katsuma Shimano.
- "I already told you Katsuma, heroes aren't that great."- The girl said.
- "I think they are great."- Katsuma said.
- "You are still too young to understand."- Mahoro said.
- "But we are practically the same age! You are ten and I am seven!"- Katsuma said.
- "It's him."- Dabi said. – "Who is the other girl?"-
Yamikumo and Dabi start walking in the same direction as the children, keeping their distance and making sure not to look suspicious. - "Probably his sister, remember?"- Yamikumo said. – "According to reports, he has an older sister, Mahoro Shimano."-
- "It seems we hit the mark... now what do we do?"- Dabi asked.
- "We follow them until they stop and call Toga and Twice."- Yamikumo said. – "We'll keep an eye on them while Nine reaches Nabu."-
- "Great... from villains to babysitters."- Dabi said.
- "Shut up and let's go or else we're going to lose them."- Yamikumo said.

Meanwhile, in Japan, Hawks is talking to people from the public hero commission.
- "For weeks several heroes have been attacked."- The president of the commission said. – "The victims have been rendered unconscious and have lost their quirks."-
Hawks looks at the screen where the victims are shown.
- "It seems that Tomura Shigaraki's group is working on a replica of the quirk-erasing drug that Chisaki developed."- The president said. – "Do you think they could have distributed it massively?"-
- "If they did we didn't know."- Hawks said.
- "Then we have to keep investigating."- The president said.
- "Is it possible that his quirks have been stolen?"- Hawks asked. – "Since the victims are heroes, their quirks can be very useful, of course the suspect should be All for One or someone with the ability to steal quirks."-
- "All for One is in Tartarus and the possibility of someone having a similar quirk is... unlikely."- The president said.
- "Just because it's unlikely doesn't mean it's impossible."- Hawks said as he begins to leave the room. – "Anyway, one thing is clear, Shigaraki is involved, so we have to continue with the investigation."- Without saying more Hawks leaves the room.

Dusk has arrived and Yamikumo, Toga, Dabi and Twice have gathered to watch Katsuma from afar, who is with his sister, the two children are at the lighthouse near the port.
- "The girl is very cute..."- Toga said.
- "Damn... when did I fall so low?"- Dabi said. – "From villain to babysitter... this is humiliating."-
- "It will only be temporary; it is a matter of time before Nine arrives."- Yamikumo said.
At that moment a loud noise sounds in the port.
Yamikumo, Toga, Dabi and Twice take advantage of this to get closer to the children, as well as see what happens. – "What's going on!?"- Yamikumo asked.
- "A-A ship just crashed into the port."- Katsuma said.
Yamikumo looks towards the port and indeed, a ship crashed into it, however the most interesting thing is the four people who are on top of this ship.
- "Those guys... Hea... Izuku! Do you think it's them?"- Dabi asked.
Yamikumo takes a good look at the four people and recognizes them. - "Yes, they have arrived."- He said.
Meanwhile, on the crashed ship Nine begins to give orders. – "Chimera, Mummy, don't let anyone interfere." He said to his men. – "You are in charge of distraction."-
- "Do you need us to do something special?"- Chimera, animalistic-looking man, asked.
– "Do what you want."- Nine said.
- "Understood."- Mummy, the man covered in bandages, said.
- "Alright... it's time to take action." – Nine said.

We have a somewhat calm chapter before starting the chaos.
Our protagonist and his group have arrived at Nabu and have begun their mission, although that did not stop them from enjoying the island a little.

In the end Nine attacks the island and our protagonists will have to finish him off... do you think they can or will they fall to the villain?
