RavenDragon: Oh shoot I forgot someone.

Blitz: Please tell me it's not another kid from Stolas.

Helia: No… it's only me and Spiroz. And Loona and Via.

Blitz: Oh thank Satan!

Fizzarolli: What? Do you have another set of twins?

Blitz: Not funny.

RavenDragon: No. This one is actually a new employee for I.M.P.

Barbie: Another one?

Moxxie: Who?

RavenDragon: I'll snap her in. Oh and guys, no attacking her.

Blitz: Why?

RavenDragon snapped her fingers, and then Evangeline appeared in an empty chair.

Evangeline: What the…? Where am I?

Blitz: A fucking cherub!?

Evangeline: Eep!

RavenDragon: Settle down Blitz! This is Evangeline. She's your co-worker in her universe.

Moxxie: A cherub working with us? Now I've heard everything.

Evangeline: I'm sorry. I'll go.

Stolas: It's alright. Evangeline, you can stay.

Evangeline: Evie. My friends call me Evie.

(The sound of blaring sirens fills the air as Blitz moves quickly to lock the windows and doors in his apartment. His face is tense, knowing exactly what the sirens mean: the extermination is starting. He grabs his phone and shuts it off, clearly trying to shut out the world. He moves quickly, locking the final window, and is about to pull the blinds shut when he hears a faint whimper. He pauses, listening carefully. The sound of soft sobs leads him to the alleyway next to his apartment.)

BLITZ: (muttering to himself) What the hell…?

(Blitz steps into the alley, his eyes scanning. Near a trash bin, he finds a small, skinny figure curled up in a ball—a ten-year-old hellhound pup. She's covered in dirt, barely clothed, and trembling from the cold and fear. Blitz's heart drops when he sees how thin she is, barely able to stand on her own.)

Loona: Seriously?! More of me as a pup?!

Blitz: Aww. I get to see my little Loonie.

Loona blushed and groaned in embarrassment.

BLITZ: (squatting down) Hey… you alright, kid?

(The young pup's wide, frightened eyes lock onto Blitz's. She's shaking, trying to make herself as small as possible. Blitz gently extends his hand toward her.)

LOONA: (whimpering) Please… don't hurt me…

(Blitz pauses, taken aback by her response. He slowly lowers his hand, his voice softening.)

BLITZ: (gently) Hey, hey. I'm not gonna hurt you. You're safe now, alright?

(Loona doesn't move at first, but when Blitz's calm tone reaches her, she slowly lifts her head, still wary.)

BLITZ: (softer) C'mon, let's get you inside. You don't want to be out here for this.

(Blitz quickly checks his surroundings before reaching down, scooping Loona up by the armpits, and carrying her back into his apartment. He locks the door just in time, and the sounds of the extermination begin in the distance—screams of demons as they're hunted down. Loona trembles in Blitz's arms, whimpering as the blood-curdling sounds fill the air.)

Moxxie: Worst day of the year.

Evangeline: I'm confused. What's going on?

Blitz: Oh don't play coy with us. You angels come down to hell and exterminate us demons.

Evangeline: (gasps in horror) Extermination?!

RavenDragon: Blitz! That was a major spoiler!

Blitz: Oh…

Evangeline: An extermination? Of sinners?

BLITZ: (squatting down with Loona in his arms, speaking in a calm, soothing voice) It's okay, kid. You're safe now. No one's gonna hurt you.

(Loona continues to shake, clearly terrified by the sounds of violence outside. Blitz notices this, and his eyes soften. He moves to a dresser and pulls out a pair of earmuffs, then carefully places them on Loona's head.)

BLITZ: (gently) Here. This should help block out the noise, okay?

(Loona nods slightly, but she still looks scared. Blitz sits beside her on the couch, his arms resting protectively around her.)

BLITZ: (gruffly) I know it's scary. Hell, I don't like it either. But we're safe in here.

(Loona finally speaks, her voice shaky.)

LOONA: (softly) What… what's happening out there?

BLITZ: (pauses, glancing out the window before looking back at Loona) It's the extermination. It happens every year… demons like you and me, we're hunted by the Fallen Angels. They do it to "purify" Hell, but it's just a damn slaughter.

(Loona curls up tighter, clutching her knees to her chest, trying to make herself feel smaller. Blitz watches her, his heart aching. He leans forward, his voice more gentle now.)

BLITZ: (gently) Hey, it's not your fault. None of this is your fault.

(There's a long pause as Blitz thinks, rubbing his hands together nervously. He knows he can't just send her back to whatever hellhole she came from.)

BLITZ: (softer) You're not alone anymore, alright? You can stay with me, kid. I'll figure something out.

LOONA: (quietly) I—I don't want to go back there…

(Blitz's brow furrows, his protective instincts kicking in. He pulls Loona closer, his tone firm.)

BLITZ: (soft but determined) You don't have to go back anywhere, Loona. You're gonna be fine. I got you now.

LOONA: (looking up at him) I… I don't have anywhere else to go…

BLITZ: (sighs, glancing away for a moment) I know, kid. But that's gonna change. I'm not letting you end up in another orphanage, or out there on the streets. I'll figure it out. We'll figure it out.

Bee: Aww!

Loona covered her face.

Helia: I always wondered how Loona got adopted.

LOONA: (hesitant) What's your name?

BLITZ: (smirking) The name's Blitz.

LOONA: (quietly) I'm Loona…

(Blitz smiles warmly at her.)

BLITZ: Loona, huh? Nice to meet you, kid.

(Loona looks up at him, a flicker of hope in her eyes. For the first time in what feels like forever, she allows herself to feel a small bit of comfort.)

LOONA: (softly) Thanks, Blitz…

BLITZ: (nodding) No problem. You're gonna be alright.

(Blitz watches Loona as she eats the noodles he made for her. He leans back against the couch, exhausted but resolute. There's no way he's letting her go through what he did. He may not know how to raise a kid, but he's going to try his best.)

BLITZ: (muttering to himself) Hell, I never thought I'd end up with a kid, but… looks like I got one now.

(The camera slowly pulls away from the pair, showing Blitz's protective gaze and Loona's cautious but growing trust.)

Millie: Aww that's so sweet.

Blitz: Note to self, ask other me for pictures of little Loona.

Loona: Blitz!

(The scene then changes to the present after the Spring Break incident. Blitz, Barbie, the twins, and Loona are driving back to the mansion after the bet with Verosika. The atmosphere is tense. Loona stares silently out the car window, her arms crossed. Blitz is sitting in the back seat with the twins, his focus on keeping them entertained. Barbie is at the wheel, glancing occasionally at her brother in the rearview mirror.)

BARBIE: (breaking the silence) So… fun day, huh?

(Loona doesn't respond, her gaze fixed outside. Blitz looks up briefly, but he doesn't say anything either.)

BARBIE: (awkwardly) Tough crowd.

Barbie: I am so glad I wasn't a clown.

Blitz: Yeah no shit. You never could do a good joke.

Barbie: Oh like you have better ones?

Blitz: Hey! Stolas finds them funny.

Barbie: Case in point.

Blitz: Fuck you.

Barbie: Exactly.

(The twins giggle at her comment, but Blitz's expression remains downcast. Barbie sighs and refocuses on the road. When they pull up to the mansion, Loona quickly unbuckles her seatbelt and bolts out of the car.)

BARBIE: Loona!

BLITZ: (waving her off) Let her go.

BARBIE: (frowning) Blitz…

BLITZ: (sighs) I'll handle it later, alright?

(Barbie nods reluctantly and helps Blitz get the twins out of the car. Blitz's shoulders sag as he watches Loona disappear into the house. Inside, Loona heads straight to her room, slamming the door shut. She flops onto her bed and pulls out her phone, scrolling through it to distract herself from the argument.)

Evangeline felt bad for Loona.

(The family gathers for dinner. Stolas sits at the head of the table with Blitz at his side. Barbie helps feed the twins, while Loona picks at her food silently with Octavia sitting beside her. The air is heavy with unspoken tension. Stolas notices and decides to address it.)

STOLAS: (gently) Did everything go alright today, Blitzy?

(Blitz looks up from his plate but doesn't answer. Barbie clears her throat and speaks up instead.)

BARBIE: (carefully) There were a few… bumps in the road.

STOLAS: (concerned) Oh? What kind of bumps?

BARBIE: (glancing at Loona) Well… Blitz and Loona had a little argument.

(Loona immediately stands, her chair scraping loudly against the floor.)

LOONA: I'm not hungry.

(She leaves the table without another word. Stolas watches her go. Octavia ran after her. Stolas then turned back to Blitz with a raised eyebrow.)

Helia: And I thought your teen angst was bad Spiro.

Spiroz: Hey!

STOLAS: Blitzy, care to elaborate?

BLITZ: (grumbling) It's nothing. She'll get over it.

STOLAS: (firmly) It seems like nothing.

(Stolas signals Barbie to watch the twins while he takes Blitz by the hand and leads him to their bedroom.)

Fizzarolli: Oh… You two get that freaky?

Blitz: Oh like you and your horny rooster aren't like that?

Fizzarolli: Hey!

Evangeline: Aww! You two are so sweet. Are you like this in your universe as well?

Stolas: Um…

Blitz: It's… complicated.

(Stolas closes the door behind them and crosses his arms, giving Blitz a pointed look.)

STOLAS: (soft but firm) Alright, Blitz. What happened?

BLITZ: (sighs, running a hand down his face) I kind of… challenged my ex to a competition.

STOLAS: (raising an eyebrow) Verosika?

BLITZ: (nodding) Yeah. Loona came along to help. And… well, things got heated.

STOLAS: (sitting beside him) Go on.

BLITZ: (hesitant) I saw her talking to some hellhound in disguise, and I might've… overreacted.

STOLAS: (gently interrupting) You mean, you went into protective father mode?

BLITZ: (snapping) Yeah, okay, I did! I know she's not a little pup anymore, but I still see her as that scared kid I found in the alley.

Octavia: And I thought Dad was just as bad.

Blitz: Hey!

(Stolas's expression softens as Blitz's frustration gives way to guilt.)

BLITZ: (quieter) She said some stuff… about me not trusting her, about treating her like a kid.

STOLAS: (reaching out to hold his hand) Blitz… I know it's hard to let go. But Loona's growing up. She's capable of making her own choices now.

BLITZ: (scoffing) Yeah, and what if she makes the wrong ones?

STOLAS: (smiling softly) Then she'll learn from them. Just like you did.

(Blitz doesn't respond right away. Stolas leans closer, cupping his cheek.)

STOLAS: (gently) Give her some time to cool down. And when you're both ready, talk to her. She didn't mean what she said, and I know you didn't either.

BLITZ: (grumbling) Are you my husband or my therapist?

STOLAS: (kissing him softly) In this case, both.

(Blitz lets out a small chuckle, resting his forehead against Stolas's.)

Moxxie: And you think me and Millie are too wholesome?

Blitz: Hey!

Verosika: Where was this when we were dating?

Blitz: Ok I get it!

(Loona sits on her bed, her legs tucked to her chest, staring at her phone. She's been scrolling for a while, but her mind isn't on the screen. She sighs heavily, locking her phone and tossing it onto the bed. There's a soft knock at her door, breaking her from her thoughts.)

OCTAVIA: (softly, from behind the door) Loona?

(Loona doesn't respond immediately, but after a beat, Octavia cracks the door open and peeks inside. Loona sniffles quietly, trying to mask it, but Octavia notices. She steps inside, closing the door gently behind her.)

OCTAVIA: (carefully) Are… you okay?

LOONA: (gruffly, wiping her eyes) I'm fine.

OCTAVIA: (hesitant) You don't look fine.

(Loona glares at her for a moment, but her expression softens when she sees the concern in Octavia's eyes. Octavia takes a tentative step closer.)

OCTAVIA: Want to talk about it?

LOONA: (sighs, looking away) Not really.

OCTAVIA: (sitting on the edge of the bed) That's okay. You don't have to.

Loona and Octavia shared a smile.

(They sit in silence for a moment. Octavia fidgets with the hem of her shirt, glancing at Loona.)

OCTAVIA: (quietly) You know, when I'm mad at dad… sometimes I just tell him.

LOONA: (scoffs) Yeah, well, it's not that simple with Blitz.

OCTAVIA: (tilting her head) Why not?

LOONA: (gritting her teeth) Because he doesn't listen! He treats me like… like I'm still the same helpless pup he picked up off the street.

OCTAVIA: (gently) Maybe it's because he cares about you. I mean, Blitz kind of did the same for me. Dad and Blitz do stuff like that, it's usually because their scared.

LOONA: (blinking) Scared? Of what?

OCTAVIA: (looking down) Of losing you and me.

(Loona looks away, her expression conflicted. She fidgets with the hem of her jacket, her ears drooping slightly.)

LOONA: (muttering) He doesn't need to. I'm not going anywhere.

OCTAVIA: (softly) Maybe you should tell him that.

Stolas: When did my little owlet become so wise?

Octavia: I learned from you, did't I?

Stolas: (chuckles) I suppose so.

(Loona doesn't respond right away. She leans back against the headboard, her gaze distant.)

LOONA: (quietly) I'll think about it.

OCTAVIA: (smiling faintly) That's a start.

(Octavia stands, smoothing out her skirt.)

OCTAVIA: Dinner's still waiting if you're hungry.

LOONA: (murmurs) Thanks.

(Octavia pauses in the doorway, giving Loona one last reassuring look before leaving. Loona stays on her bed, staring at the door for a moment before letting out a heavy sigh. She picks up her phone again but doesn't unlock it, instead just holding it as she processes the conversation.)

Loona: Look, Blitz about what happened…

Blitz: It's fine Loona. You're old enough to handle yourself. I just worry. You know?

Loona: Yeah. Just no more overbearing parenting.

Blitz: No promises

(The camera pans across a vast, heavenly city with soft, pastel-colored buildings and glowing golden accents. Celestial music hums in the air as Evangeline flies through the bustling streets, juggling three cups of coffee in her hands. Her pure white hair gleams like snow, and her magenta eyes dart back and forth as she maneuvers between souls and cherubs alike. She's dressed in a pale pink dress with matching wings fluttering gently behind her.)

EVANGELINE: (to herself, out of breath) I'm so late…

(She weaves through the crowds, nearly bumping into several souls as she apologizes, barely keeping the coffee steady.)

EVANGELINE: (shouting to a nearby cherub) Sorry! Excuse me!

Blitz: Seriously? We get a glimpse of Heaven?

Fizzarolli: Wow. Is ti always this… shiny and clean?

Bee/Asmodeus: Yes.

Moxxie: Wow.

Evangeline started to felt a little homesick.

Millie: So you worked for C.H.E.R.U.B?

Evangeline: Yeah. Let's just say I've never even been to Earth.

Blitz: Hold up! You've never been to Earth? I thought all those cherubs do like those annoying three.

Evangeline: I'm a… special kind of cherub.

Moxxie: Special?

Evangeline: I can actually tell if a human soul is worthy of a blessing or not by reading their file or by their memories.

Bee: No fucking way! You're an empathical cherub!

Blitz: A what now?

Stolas: An empathical cherub. Cherubs that connect with humans.

Bee: There hasn't been one in over 10,000 years.

Asmodeus: She's right.

(She flies over a small group of cherubs, apologizing to them as well. Her wings flicker and flap rapidly as she rushes to the C.H.E.R.U.B office building. The doors slide open as she enters, greeted by the bustling sound of cherubs working and flying about.)

EVANGELINE: (mumbling to herself) Please, please don't let them be mad…

(She makes her way to the break room, quickly setting down the three cups of coffee on a counter. She looks at a piece of paper with hurried scribbles, frowning as she reads the names.)

EVANGELINE: (muttering) Cletus, Collin, and Keenie…

(She rushes down the hallway, her eyes scanning for the right office. After a moment, she finds the door marked "Blessing Assignments" and knocks quickly before entering.)

EVANGELINE: (nervously) Hi, I've got the coffee for you all. Sorry, I'm late.

(The door creaks open to reveal Cletus, the human-like cherub with a soft golden glow and light purple eyes. His expression is serious as he looks up at her, adjusting his orange overalls.)

CLETIUS: (flatly) You're late.

EVANGELINE: (flustered) I-I know! Traffic was a nightmare, I'm sorry!

(Cletus doesn't respond but gestures to the coffee cups.)

CLETIUS: (grumbling) Just leave the coffee.

Blitz: Wow and I thought those guys were jerks before.

Evangeline: Cletus and Keenie are the jerks. Collin isn't bad. He doesn't treat me like a secretary like all the other cherubs do. He treats me like I matter.

Asmodeus: Hold up, secretary?

Fizzarolli: That looks more like them taking advantage of you.

Evangeline: Yeah. I know. But Collin isn't like that. He's just… scared.

Moxxie: Scared of them?

Evangeline: Yeah. Cletus and Keenie mostly have him stay late to do all the paperwork or use him as a joke.

Blitz: Huh? I never thought of it like that.

Millie: Poor guy.

(Evangeline sets the cups down on the table, giving him an apologetic look as she glances at the others. Collin, the periwinkle sheep cherub with a halo and white bowtie, is sitting at a desk, and Keenie, a yellow sheep angel with purple-pink eyes and a yellow dress, stands by the window, looking out impatiently.)

EVANGELINE: (smiling gently) Here's the coffee. I hope it's what you wanted!

COLLIN: (cheerfully) Thank you, Evangeline! It smells great.

(Evangeline smiles at him, grateful for the kind response. She turns to Keenie, who looks at her with a glare, still holding her coffee in one hand as she sips it.)

KEENIE: (snapping) Can we get back to work now?

(Evangeline flinches slightly, but she keeps her composure. She steps back, folding her hands in front of her.)

EVANGELINE: (softly) Actually, um… I was wondering if I could go with you today. To help with the blessing?

(Keenie rolls her eyes and scoffs.)

KEENIE: (dismissive) We don't need you coming along. Stay here and keep doing your busy work, Evangeline.

Verosika: Wow. What a bitch.

Barbie: You can say that again.

(Cletus sets down his coffee, glancing at Keenie before looking back at Evangeline. He sighs.)

CLETIUS: (gruffly) You're here to assist with scheduling, not grant blessings. Stick to your tasks.

(Evangeline lowers her gaze, feeling the sting of rejection. Her hands tighten into fists at her sides as she nods quietly.)

EVANGELINE: (softly) I understand…

Moxxie and Millie felt sorry for Evangeline. Even Fizzarolli looked pissed at how Cletus treated her.

(As she turns to leave, she overhears Keenie mutter under her breath.)

KEENIE: (mocking) You think you could help us? You can't even keep up with the basics.

(Evangeline stops in her tracks, her wings twitching slightly. She fights the urge to snap back, but her heart sinks. She forces herself to keep walking, exiting the office with a heavy heart. The moment the door shuts behind her, she lets out a breath she didn't realize she was holding.)

EVANGELINE: (muttering to herself, bitterly) I'm just a secretary…

Loona: I thought Heaven was more holy and shit.

Bee: Don't believe everything you hear. Trust me, they are just as hypocritical as us.

Asmodeus: No kidding. No wonder Lucifer resents Heaven.

(As she walks down the hallway, her pace slows. She stops at a window, gazing out at the serene skies of Heaven, her magenta eyes reflecting her frustration.)

EVANGELINE: (quietly) I want to do more.

(She places her hands on the window, her voice trembling slightly.)

EVANGELINE: (singing softly)

Here comes a wave

Meant to wash me away

A tide that is taking me under

Broken again

Left with nothing to say

My voice drowned out in the thunder…

Stolas and Verosika were surprised to hear Evangeline sing.

Stolas: I can understand how you feel Evie.

Evangeline: You do?

Stolas: Of course. And if you ever need to talk, I'm here.

Bee: Same with me and Ozzie.

Evangeline: Thanks.

(She wipes away a tear, brushing it aside as she tries to pull herself together. But the sadness lingers as she continues to sing, her words a reflection of her inner turmoil.)

EVANGELINE:

But I can't cry, and I can't start to crumble

Whenever they try to shut me or cut me down

I can't stay silent, though they wanna keep me quiet

And I tremble when they try it

All I know is I won't go speechless…

(She stops singing, wiping her eyes once more, and folds her hands in front of her as she kneels in prayer, her voice small but hopeful.)

EVANGELINE: (praying quietly) Please, God… Let me have just one chance to do more.

(She stays kneeling for a moment, taking a deep breath before standing tall once again, determined to find her way in a world that constantly tries to shut her down.)

Vortex: Now that was intense.

RavenDragon: And that's it for the episode.

Blitz: Let me guess, the next one is with those cherubs?

RavenDragon: Pretty much.

Spiroz: Cool!
