After an entirely too long hiatus, I finally have more content to offer you! In case anyone is following this story, waiting for part three, this is your announcement. All I have left to do is do a quick proofread-it's only over 80,000 words, no biggie-and then I will be posting part three: The Operation. I should have it done by 1 January 2025! Dancing atop the table, she surfed the essence of the surrounding crowd, arms swaying like the waves, eyes alight with the anticipation of the inevitable crash against the shore.
Now that she had seen the ocean, stepped in it even, Cass felt like a new part of her had come alive, filled with the rolling sensation of the water. She was coarse like the sand, softly falling through the fingers of the universe, a passive passenger on the journey of life.
But then she'd never been passive. It was simply a matter of enjoying the ride, letting the turns and rolls happen, hand in hand with the partner she'd chosen.
