The next day was Sunday, so after church and the Sunday dinner afterwards, Autumn went to watch TTTE. Autumn looked at her TTTE DVDs and said, "Journey Beyond Sodor's the one up next."
Autumn watched the movie, needing tissues at the end because of her tears. She thought of the mean girls at school and more tears flowed. Autumn, as she sniffled and wiped her weeping eyes, decided to go to Sodor. Her eyes went to her Thomas toy and she daydreamed her way to the island.
Autumn landed on Sodor, then, wiping her tears, found Thomas at the station.
"Let it all out, Autumn, " he said. "Blow your nose and wipe your eyes. Then, I shall take you for a train ride."
Autumn sat in Thomas's cab, drying her tears, including wiping and blowing her pouring nose. "I've cried my nose stuffy," she said. ""I just... I can't seem to stop. Everything feels so heavy. It's like a floodgate opened, and now I can't hold back the tears. Everything's just pouring out. My heart feels so overwhelmed, and now my nose is too. Why does it all have to come out at once? Every time I try to calm down, the tears just keep coming. I feel like I can't catch my breath."
Autumn finished her cry, then Thomas took her on his next train. He pulled his train through the Sodor countryside, along his branch line. After this, Autumn made her rounds of Sodor, seeing Bridget Hatt along with all her engine friends. Autumn then went back and said good-bye to Thomas, giving him a big hug. She left Sodor with his whistle in her ears.
Autumn went back home, threw out her soaked tissues, and went through her family's evening meal, then she played with her toys, including her Bachmann Thomas set, followed by her bedtime routine. She read herself a bedtime story, then fell asleep hugging her stuffed Thomas.
