Hook and Edi glared at the boy with disgust. "Pan, what do you want? We're busy right now," Edi asked. His voice matched the same level of disdain on his face.

"Rude. Especially when I'm here to help," the boy stated, the smile dropping from his face.

"Help with what?" He asked him.

"Yeah, we have rescued Callie already," Hook pointed out.

"I'm not talking about her," Pan responded, his voice filled with irritation.

"Then what?" Questioned Edi.

"Whatever it is we aren't interested," Hook added.

"Shouldn't we at least hear him out?" Emma wondered.

"No," was all Killian responded with.

"Why not?" Kenzie asked confused by the two men's apparent hatred for him. Surely, he can't be that bad. Can he? She thought. It's not as if they were good guys themselves.

"Because he's Peter Pan. He likes to play games," he replied.

"I'm not here to play games I want to help," Peter said.

"If you're gonna tell us how to leave this island then we'll listen," Emma said turning her attention to him eager to know how to leave the island.

Kenzie too was interested in what he had to say even if the pirates didn't. If Pan was that bad she didn't care as long as she could get home.

"Well, I know of one way, but I'm not going to tell you just like that," Pan told her.

"Told you he likes to play games," Hook said.

"How?" She demanded the boy, ignoring Hook.

"Woah, calm down Saviour I'll tell you in exchange for a favour," he answered.

"And why should I?" She asked.

"I'm doing you a favour it's only right to give me a favour in return," he responded.

"Fine what's that?" She wondered.

"Take Ronan with you. I've got important plans for this island and they don't involve him," he requested.

"You must be joking," Kenzie blurted out. No way we're they taking him with them. It would be best if he was stuck here forever in Neverland, she thought.

"Does it look like I am joking, but if you don't want to take the offer then it's no deal," he said turning to look at Kenzie and then back at Emma?

"Fine, we'll take him," agreed Emma. "Now, tell us how to leave?"

Kenzie scowled at Emma shocked that she would agree after he had kidnapped her. She was stunned that she would do that to a friend but of course, she cared about her son who she wanted to get back to.

"Oh, you can't. You need Ronan for that," he said.

"I said that I'll take him off the island but nothing about working with him," Emma corrected him.

"Then it looks like you can't get off this island after all." He turned around to leave.

"Why do we need him anyway?" Emma asked.

"You'll see," he answered and started walking until he just vanished from the clearing in a flash of white light.

"No, no we are not working with Ronan. I'd rather be stuck here than ask him for help," Kenzie spoke out after he was gone.

"I agree," Hook said.

"Fine you can stay here, but I need to get back to Henry," Emma asserted.

"There's gotta be another way to leave here," Kenzie suggested.

"Pan said there wasn't," Emma said.

"Yes, but he likes to play games," pointed out, Hook.

"I don't think I have a choice. I don't know anything about Neverland or how to leave here and besides, I need to rescue Neal. I can't be stuck here in Neverland," Emma said.

"You don't have to help me, " she added and started walking away.

"Where are you going?" Edi called out.

"To find Ronan," she replied.

"We can't leave her. She helped rescue me. We need to help her," Kenzie said surprising herself. She didn't want to work with Ronan but Emma was a friend and she just couldn't leave her not after she had risked her life to save her.

"Are you forgetting Ronan was the one who kidnapped you?" Hook asked.

"No, and that's precisely why we can't let her work with him, at least not alone," she explained.

"She won't, I'll go help her," offered Edi.

"Are you sure cousin you know what happened last time?"

"I know, but Callie is right we can't let her work alone with him. We all know that."

"Ok, but be careful. We'll be at my ship, tell Emma to meet us there?" Hook said.

"Ok, Captain," Edi agreed.

Then they all went different ways. Kenzie and Killian went back to his ship and Edi headed off to go find Emma.

Sometime later they arrived back at The Jolly Rodger and made their way on board. Kenzie thought about Emma and hoped Edi found her because she knew what Ronan was like. She didn't want her to deal with him alone.

She turned to Hook and asked, "why are we hiding away on your ship?" Not doing anything to help was making her agitated and uneasy. "We should be helping."

"And risk Ronan trying to kidnap you again?" He asked turning to face her.

"I can handle myself," she asserted, clasping her hands into fists as if she was proving she could fight.

"Clearly," he said.

"Hey, he jumped me from behind. This time I won't be as stupid to let him kidnap me," she explained.

"Ok, then what do you wanna do?" He asked.

"I wanna go see if we can find another way to get off this island," she answered, dropping her hands out of the fists.

"What if there isn't?" He wondered.

"We don't know until we try."

"Fine, let's go, " he agreed.

The two turned and departed the ship once more onto the sand and walked back into the forest. They searched for the others and came upon a dense part of the forest filled with a thorn-like plant. Kenzie nearly walked into it, but Hook grabbed a hold of her jacket.

"Kenzie, be careful," he said and pulled her to safety.

"Why what's wrong?" She asked, turning to look at him.

"You nearly got pricked by that plant. It's poison," he responded letting her go.

She looked down and saw the plant he was talking about it. It was a beautiful-looking plant with dark purple thorns. Kenzie almost wondered how such a pretty plant could be poisonous, but then she remembered how nature was strange. Bright-colourful animals and plants tended to be toxic.

"Oh, thanks so much, " she thanked him turning away from the plant.

"No problem love. Can't let you get hurt now can I?" He said, with a smile.

"You care that much?" she asked, looking back at him.

"Well, I came to rescue you, so if you got poisoned then I would have failed to do that," he responded.

Can't he just say he likes me? She thought. "Seriously?"

"What do you mean?" He raised his eyebrows in confusion.

"Nevermind, shall we go?" she suggested and he nodded his head.

They set off walking again. Kenzie looked down as they did so. The knowledge of the lethal plant made her wary of her surroundings. She didn't fancy dying in Neverland.

Walking in silence wasn't exactly the best way to find someone in a forest so she decide that maybe she should call out for them. She was about to shout at Emma when she saw a shadow dart past them. "What was that?" She asked jumping back and her voice came out a little higher than normal.

"Pan's Shadow," Hook responded.

Kenzie relaxed a little to this and her heart that had tried to leap out of her chest slowed down. "His shadow's not attached to him?"

"No," he answered.

" Does his shadow leave and come back to Neverland?" She inquired. An idea came to her. One that she thought would succeed in getting them off the island.

"Aye, it does," he said.

"Then can't we capture his shadow and use it to get us back to Storybrook?"

A"How do you propose we capture it and with what?" He asked putting a hole in what she thought was a perfect plan.

Kenzie shrugged her shoulders realising she hadn't fully thought out the plan. "Guess we need to keep looking," she said.

" Or you can take up my offer," a familiar voice suggested. The voice came from behind so Kenzie and Killian turned around to face the boy.

"To work with Ronan forget it," Kenzie responded.

"I don't need you to work with him exactly just get rid of him," he said.

" You don't want him here why?" Kenzie was curious as to why he wanted him to leave so badly.

"Just say we have a long history that wasn't exactly the definition of happy families," he revealed.

"That explains it, wait what?" She gasped as she realised what he had just said.

"You two are related?" Hook asked his eyes widening in disbelief.

"That doesn't matter," Peter dismissed their shock. "Just take him from here."

"Why should we?" Kenzie asked.

" Because I can help you leave this island."

"How do we know this isn't just a trick?"

"No trick and I was proposing a deal with Hook," he rectified as he turned to face the pirate.

"What deals that?" Killian asked.

" Hook don't..."

"You work for me like the good old days and you can leave whenever you wish. You and Kenzie" offered Pan.

"Hook don't make a deal with him. We can find a way ourselves," Kenzie begged.

"Kenzie has no part in working for you and she never has to set foot back in Neverland?" Kenzie stared at him listening more closely to his words because she couldn't believe what he was saying.

Wait yes I can?

" You have my word, so what do you say is it a deal?" Pan wondered.

"Noooo, Hook don't you dare," Kenzie pleaded, hoping that he would listen to her.

"There's no other way. Do you want to be stuck here With Ronan forever?"

" No, but we can't go not like this and we can't leave Emma," she responded.

"I'm sure the others can find a way to bring her back," he said.

"I'm not leaving Emma here," she snapped.

" I came here to rescue you not Emma."

She didn't know why this made her so angry because she knew that this was what he was like. He was a pirate. A villain. Deep down she guessed she just hoped a good man was somewhere still inside. One that cared about others but it turned out she was wrong.

"So if you want to make a deal with him go ahead, but leave me out of it," she scorned. "I don't need you to save me. You're not my knight in shining armour. You are nothing but a pirate. I can save myself as I have always done, so goodbye Hook."

At that goodbye, she swiftly turned and walked away with heavy footsteps. Then she kicked some leaves on the path but it did nothing to curb her anger. She sighed. Just find Emma so I can get off this damn island.
