"How? How did you do that?" Emma wondered as she walked over.

"I have no idea," Kenzie responded stepping back away from Hook to look at her.

"Are you from the fairytale world?" Edi asked.

"No, I was born in the none magic world," she answered, but it was more of a question than an answer. She was doubting everything she knew about herself, even though she knew she had been born in the regular world. However, she knew nothing about her birth father. Maybe, he had been from their world.

"Erm...guys Ronan," Hook stated and the three of them looked towards the man scrambling up from the floor. He had his hand on his head and looked dazed.

Edi ran towards him and grabbed his hands behind his back and pulled him up from the ground. "Don't even think about using your powers or Callie will blast you to Oz," he threatened.

"I'm not scared of you," Ronan responded.

"You should be because I've had enough now. First, you kidnap Callie, then you try to kill Hook. Pan knows of a way to leave here but he won't tell us and wants to play games instead and I just want to get home to my son. I know you know how to leave here so you will tell us," she demanded storming over.

"What if I don't?" He shrugged as if he didn't care that he was being held, hostage. Which he didn't. It's not like any of them were strong enough to fight him and win.

" I'll blast you to Oz as Edi said," Kenzie threatened as she strode over.

"You don't even know how to use your powers," he pointed out and rolled his eyes.

" I'm sure I'll figure it out. I'm a fast learner, so tell us," she insisted.

"No."

"Now," she argued.

"Fine, you need Pan's shadow," he revealed.

" How do we capture it?" Her idea before might not have been a lost cause after all.

"Like I'm going to tell you. Figure it out yourself, " he declared.

They were getting nowhere. Ronan wouldn't help them, not if it meant losing. There had to be a way to make him talk but he was more powerful than them and Kenzie knew she couldn't follow through on her threat. He was right. She didn't know how her powers worked, so she had to think of another way. An idea lit up in her mind.

"Pan has it in for you. He doesn't want you here," she told him.

" I'm not scared of him," he stated.

"No, but don't you want to get back at him. Take his shadow and then he can never bring anymore lost boys. He can never use it to carry out any of his plans and maybe you could use it," Edi helped.

"Fine," Ronan sighed. He didn't want to help but he didn't want to pass up the opportunity to mess with Pan. "That boy he had this device," he finally revealed.

"Who?" Kenzie asked.

" I forget his name."

"Neal?," Hook asked and paused a moment before adding, "Bealfire?"

" Yeah, him," replied Ronan and then frowned. "Can you unhand me now?

" No, you are coming with us," ordered Emma but Ronan just grinned. With his smile, Edi yelped in pain as he let go of him and then he vanished in a puff of smoke.

"Owww," Edi said looking at his hands. "That ass."

"Are you ok?" Kenzie asked him.

He looked away from his hands to address her and dropped them down to his side. "Yeah, I'll be fine."

The group headed back to Neal's Neverland home. Whatever device Ronan was talking about Kenzie hoped they got to it first. Though the chance of Ronan already being there and capturing Pan's shadow for himself was high. It was almost a certainty. They just had to find him again and somehow steal it from him.

"Kenzie?" Hook spoke up from beside her, breaking her out of her thoughts.

She turned to face him. " Yeah?"

"Can I talk to you?" He inquired.

" Sure," she responded.

"I'm sorry I made that deal with Pan it's just that I care about you, but I know it was wrong and that we couldn't leave Emma here," he apologised and it was a genuine one. He felt slightly bad about being willing to leave her friend behind.

" I forgive you," she told him.

"You do?" He wondered.

" Yeah, I'm sorry about all those things I said," she said.

"It's true though," he declared. " I am a villain but I'm trying not to be that man anymore."

" I know." Kenzie knew that that's why she felt awful for saying those things.

"So everything is fine between us?" He questioned, hopeful.

"Yes, " she said. She didn't want to stay mad. She didn't want to fall out with him but wanted to start again.

"There's something I need to tell you actually," she started but stopped trying to think of her next words carefully. Seeing him almost get killed made her realise it was unwise to keep putting off the truth. She couldn't keep denying her feelings.

" What is it?"

"I like you," she replied. " I mean like you a lot and this might sound strange but I had these dreams about Storybrook, about the enchanted forest, that's why I went on your ship that day and I'm glad I did." With her last word, she smiled feeling a wave of pressure and doubt flow away.

Hook came to a stop and so did she as they found themselves looking at each other.

"I'm glad you did too. I like you too," Hook said.

"I'm not just a pretty distraction?" She questioned.

" No, I mean at first but then I got to know you and... " he began to say and stepped closer to her and continued. "I fell for you and made me have a different goal."

"What's that?"

"To prove to you I can be the man you saw in me. Revenge is something I no longer want," he told her what he had only fully realised.

"What do you want?" She asked.

" For you to give me a chance," he replied.

"Ok," she agreed and stepped forward and put her arms around him.

He put his arm around her and whispered, "And this."

She stepped up onto her tiptoes and kissed him again but more intensely. More passionate. It was something she knew she wanted. He kissed her back just as lovingly until he pulled away.

" Come, love we better go catch up. "

They let go of each other and ran to go catch up. When they walked alongside them once again, Kenzie turned to face Hook. "Killian," she said.

"Yes, love," He too turned to her with a smile.

"Are you working with us now or are you still taking Pan's offer?" She asked. She was no longer angry but they needed to know if he was on their side.

"With you," he responded.

"OK," she said and nodded and smiled. That was not the answer she was looking for but it was just as good. His working with her and doing the right thing was all she wanted.

"I was scared I was going to lose you," Kenzie piped up a few moments later.

" You won't lose me," he reassured her.

"I've lost so many people and then Ronan tried to kill you," she recalled. She shook her head to rid the flashes of the scene replaying in her mind.

"Stop it. You're not going to lose me. There's one thing you should know about me and that's I'm a survivor," he told her.

"I know, but I thought it was too late to tell you how I felt about you," she said.

"But it wasn't," he pointed out and she nodded and turned away.

"When we get back would you let me take you out on a date?" He asked her.

"Sure," Kenzie agreed.

"I thought you'd decline."

" Well, I'm ready to start trusting you," she said and he smiled.

Kenzie took a hold of his hand and as they neared their destination. She hoped they would find what they needed so they could leave as she was excited about her date.
