"Ronan give it here," demanded Emma not prepared to take any of his rubbish.

"If you want it, come get it," he childishly, suggested waving it around in the air.

Kenzie groaned at his behaviour. I want to leave this damn island, she thought.

"Ronan we all want to leave this island, so why not just suck it up and work with us," Kenzie declared getting more and more fed up with his immorality, by the second if that was possible.

"Never," he responded, snatching Edi's sword before he had time to realize. At that Hook swiftly glided his sword from the sheath.

"Give it back," he said pointing the blade out in front.

"Or what you gonna kill me?" Ronan snickered. "You know you can't kill me."

"I can try."

"Please," sneered Ronan. "I nearly killed you last time if it wasn't for Callie coming to your aid. What kind of pirate are you? I thought Pirates were supposed to be not weak and pathetic," he added.

Hook could feel his blood begin to boil from inside, and was about to charge towards him when his sword was swiped from his hands.

"I've had enough of you. Stop hurting the people I care about," at those words Kenzie did something she never expected she would. She swung the sword near his hand. The one that held onto Pan's enclosed shadow.

The menacing dark-haired man gasped, as he vanished, in his smoke magic. Can't even be bothered to stay and fight, she thought as she lowered the sword.

"Woah," Edi said, just as the thing they needed fell to the floor releasing Pan's shadow. It made its escape fleeing into the forest somewhere.

"Looks like you hit him," he added

"Good," she said.

"No not good," Emma said. "Pan shadow is gone. We are back to square one."

"If Ronan caught it, then I'm sure we can too."

"If it's already been caught it will be extra cautious," Emma responded.

"It's a shadow it can't be that smart right? Besides, we'll think of a plan to outsmart it," Kenzie stated.

"I hope so."

"I'm sure we will." Edi then looked down to the floor and back to Kenzie. "But what about my sword?" asked Edi his voice becoming lower.

"I can get you another one," replied Kenzie.

"How when you are leaving?" He questioned.

"Why can't you come with us?" Emma wondered.

" I can't..." He began but trailed off not knowing what to say and his voice became even softer and shaky.

"You're stuck here aren't you?" Kenzie asked.

"Aye," he answered nodding his head.

"Killian left to get a cure or something, " she stated.

"What do you mean a cure?" Emma asked.

"I was poisoned and the only reason I am alive right now is because of the water that's connected to the island's magic, " Edi said.

"I'll help Killian and we will find a way back to help you I promise," Kenzie said.

"Thanks," he replied, a small smile appearing on his face. "However it's been years."

"So that doesn't mean there isn't one. Don't give up hope," Emma told him.

"I won't," he replied.

"Good," she said.

"Now, let's go get Pan's shadow back," Kenzie reminded the group.

"Aye," responded Hook.

They searched and searched, but couldn't find it anywhere. As they were about to stop and think of the next plan of action a disembodied voice came from behind them.

"I thought you'd be gone by now," It said and the quartet turned to face the teen staring at them.

"We had some complications," Emma told the teen.

"What type of complications?" He asked crossing his arms.

"Why do you even care?" Kenzie demanded.

"Well I don't care as much that you and the saviour are still here, but I care that Hook is," he retorted glaring in his direction and then back to the two women, before continuing. "He went and decided to go against our deal."

"It wasn't a good deal," Kenzie said.

"Maybe so, but I don't take kindly to people backing out on deals. Especially, when it means I can't get what I want."

Can think of another like that, Emma thought. Gold.

"Anyway, I'm giving you one chance to leave, before I plan how I will kill you, and believe me I won't fail like Ronan. None of you will get in the way. I never fail," he continued looking back at the pirate.

"How did you know that? That Ronan tried to kill him," Kenzie asked.

He slowly turned back to face her. "I'm Peter Pan, did you forget that? I know everything that happens on this Island," he answered.

"Looks like you need to kill me then," Hook stated. "Our plan to get off this island kinda got foiled."

"Then find another way before I come back," Pan ordered as he disappeared, just like Ronan.

After he was gone Kenzie sighed in desperation. "Where can a shadow be hiding?" She threw her arms up and down.

"Where do shadows always hide?" Emma asked in response to her rhetorical question.

"Of course where it's dark," said Hook.

"Where's the darkest place on this island?" Kenzie asked.

"That would be the caves behind the skull on skull island," Edi replied.

Hook looked towards his cousin his face twisted in a look that seemed to ask how do you know? Edi shrugged and then spoke again.

"I went there once. I was bored. It can get dull being stuck on an island you know," he said.

"Alright let's go before Pan decides to show up again," Kenzie said and they all began walking, letting Edi lead the way. However, Hook picked up the coconut device before following after them.

It took a while to reach the island as they had to travel back through the forest. On their way, they stumble upon a little old rowing boat. One that barely held the weight of them all. As they step it made the most worrisome creaks, which made Kenzie pray they make it across. When they did arrive her racing heart slowed down.

"This way," Edi said once they stepped onto the island and started to lead the way.

They follow Edi around the back of the giant skull. Kenzie glared at them as she walked, her eyes wide. She had never seen anything like it before.

Soon they arrived at the back and came to a stop outside a giant pitch-black hole in the rocks, that had a fire torch hung on the side. Emma grabbed one and stepped forwards inside. The cave lit up briefly as they followed her in. A gush of wind escaped the cave blowing out the fire. How? Was it the shadow? Thought Kenzie.

"How are we supposed to see now?" Emma asked out into the darkness.

"It was nice knowing you Cousin. Well, sometimes it was," Edi's voice spoke from somewhere inside the cave.

No this can't be it. We need another way. I'm not giving up. We will leave. I'm not losing anyone, thought Kenzie. Pan had been pretty persuasive with his threat to kill Hook. Though she knew he liked to play games, she didn't think he was playing around this time. Even if he were and just wanted to scare them, she didn't want to find out.

"We can find it in the dark," Hook suggested even though he knew that would be impossible.

"How?" Emma asked.

"I don't know."

Calm down and think Kenzie.

"Owwww," the other three cried out.

"What happened?" Kenzie asked concerned.

"You. You're glowing," Emma said, shielding her eyes from the blinding white light as she happened to be standing the closest to Kenzie.

"I am..."
