Chapter 27: The General

Pain; that was all Gohan could remember feeling as he awoke in the healing tank. His mind began to trace backwards, looking for any clue as to how he had gotten wherever he was and if he was safe now. That was when he remember it, one of the monsters from his nightmares, Zarbon. Zarbon was the one he had been fighting. He quickly came to the conclusion that that was who had put him in the healing tank. In all likelihood he would have to run and escape.

He saw someone laying nearby, his heart began to race at the thought of facing Zarbon again so soon. He pushed the door open as quietly as he possibly could. His body still sore, but he figured running now would be the better than waiting to be retrieved by the monster.

Quickly he pushed open the pod door, an alarm beginning to blare as Gohan cringed.

The figure stirred as Gohan made a dash towards the exit. At least he thought he did but as he reached the doorway he realized he was trapped, the entire hallway had caved in.

"Where the hell do you think you're going brat?" Raditz asked his tone indicating he was irritated at being awoken so abruptly.

"We need to run Zarbon is here and-" the child hurriedly explained as he grabbed Raditz's arm trying to pull him towards the hole he had just noticed in the wall.

"I know, though he wasn't Zarbon. But that doesn't matter now anyway, I killed him." Raditz said with a tired smirk on his face.

Gohan was amazed, "Really that's awesome!" He shouted truly impressed with his uncle. "Wait but does that mean our mission was successful?" The boy asked a confused look on his face.

"Yeah, close enough anyway. I got all the information we needed." Raditz responded.

"Oh ok. What are we doing now?" Gohan asked. Not sure of what his future would hold.

"I have the coordinates already loaded into the ship's computers. We are done with the Planet trade, now we'll be fighting them." Raditz explained still not fully believing he would ever be saying that.

Gohan couldn't believe he had actually said that either, here he was resigning himself to a life of destroying worlds to get more powerful because he was told that fighting the planet trade would be impossible. Now though, now they actually would be fighting the planet trade and Gohan was afraid he might not be strong enough especially now that Vegeta and Nappa were dead. He could barely believe his own opinion had changed so much in such a short time. He remembered his father though, he would be disappointed if he didn't fight the bad guys wherever they were. Besides if Raditz thought they could win, maybe they could. A feeling of resolution filled Gohan, "Alright, let's do it!" He cheered.

"Whatever." Raditz said walking away annoyed by the sudden burst of enthusiasm for their new higher risk life.

"Wait where are you going?" Gohan asked as he hurried to catch up to him.

"To get some new armor if there is any I didn't step on." Raditz stated as the only memory from his transformation crossed his mind. His foot was still hurting from the shards that had gotten stuck in it. "I don't want to show up on our new employer's doorstep butt-ass naked." His tone concealing his excitement about actually remembering even part of his transformation.

"Huh?" Gohan asked as he stopped and looked down. It was at that very moment the small child became aware that both of them were very much naked. "Hey wait up I need new clothes too!" He shouted chasing after his uncle.

It only took the duo a few minutes to salvage the modest supplies they would need for their upcoming journey, and just a few more for them to raid what remained of the Captain's personal cafeteria. But after they had finished storing up and filling up, they were ready to go. They even had the benefit of their pods being cleaned and restocked without them even lifting a finger. Unknowingly due to Captain Bonza's desire to leave his base and attempt to locate Lord Frieza.

According to the information that Raditz had taken from the planet trade communication hub, a Planet trade spy had recently located a resistance group's base of operations on a world a mere two weeks away from the ruined base they currently were standing in. With any luck that group would still be there, and be in the mood to add a couple more members, at least temporarily.

With nothing more to do the two loaded up and set out to whatever awaited them at their destination.

Vegeta growled to himself as he pulled himself from his bed. After he had finished working out his frustrations, which took about a week. He had simply gone back to where he had felt Nappa's energy emanating from. That was how he had ended up here, at the home of the blue haired woman he had been asked to rescue on Namek.

It was actually a stroke of luck his general had chosen to go with the woman.

During his weeklong 'soul searching' Vegeta had yet to come to a conclusion as to why Kakarot had been able to achieve the legend and Vegeta had not been able to. The Saiyan Prince decided though that it would be in his best interest to start limiting the choices now. His leading theories were he just wasn't strong enough to finish the transformation, that somehow Kakarot's technique helped him unlock the well of power he had felt, or and he didn't want the last one to be true, that somehow he hadn't felt enough loss yet.

Vegeta wasn't deluded enough to think the gap in strength he felt between himself and Kakarot was insignificant. Not only that but it was the easiest of the three main theories for him to test. That was why he was staying here now. Goku had been able to train using a gravity chamber, it gave him a massive increase in strength in a short amount of time. So now Vegeta would be following his example. That is how he had spent the last two days, only stopping his training long enough to eat and a few hours of sleep.

Sometimes Nappa would join him, but his bodyguard's focus was proving to be lacking in this regard, as the General's mind seemed to be somewhere far away. Vegeta on the other hand had already decided he wouldn't stop until he had achieved the legend or died trying.

While the Saiyan Prince continued his training a very important meeting was taking place in the Earth's capital.

King Furry had requested a meeting with not only the heroes of the Battle against the Saiyans but also the next batch of students who had been trained as a contingency. Everyone except Piccolo though who wouldn't have come even if the King's messengers had been able to locate him.

The room was filled with nearly 40 fighters, plus Bulma and one small girl who still refused to go anywhere without her father. They had yet to leave Master Roshi's training island before today.

King Furry looked out over those gathered before beginning his speech. "Thank you all for gathering here on such short notice. Before I begin though we have a special guest who was brought back to life with the rest of East City and wants to say thank you to you all."

Hercule and Videl's bodies tensed, they hadn't realized the East City had been revived when the other Earthling fighters had been. They had been trapped on the island training with Roshi the entire time. Hercule was having to use every bit of his newfound patience to resist the urge to grab Videl and begin the search for his wife.

Videl though had less patience, as to be expect of a 6 year old, and immediately grabbed her father's hand using her new nearly superhuman strength to pull try and pull him to his feet at out of the room.

"Now Videl...stop that we can…" The rest of Hercule's sentence trailed off, his mind completely going blank, his body completely limp as he stared towards the stage.

Videl noticed this almost immediately and looked up at him, before following the direction of his eyes. "Daddy what's..." Her sentence trailed off too when she looked to the stage.

Standing next to the Dog-man president was a woman with black hair and a petite body staring back at them both tears streaming down her face.

"MOMMA!" Videl suddenly shouted before rushing towards her mother as fast as her small frame could carry her; which was well faster than even the fastest normal human sprinter. With a loud thump the two collided, Videl hadn't even thought to slow down, but at the moment neither of them cared as they lay on the ground embracing each other in a hug. Neither spoke, both simply stayed there tears streaming down their faces.

Hercule's reaction was much slower, there was too much shock flowing through his system.

Everyone watched both the display up on the stand and Hercule's reaction. a few of the hardened warriors even getting teary eyed at the touching display, Chi Chi certainly did since her own reunion was what she wanted more than anything in the world.

Finally Hercule spoke, "Mig?" He tentatively asked, as if the woman's reaction to his daughter wasn't enough.

The angel before him finally looked up from her embrace a smile of true joy on her face, "Yes Mark it's me." Her voice was shaky even saying that much.

"Mig it's really you!" He suddenly cried tears streaming down his face like his wife and daughter and rushed forward with the same level of restraint Videl had.

The three huddled together for a long moment all crying with joy at their miraculous reunion.

After things had settled down, King Furry with a bright smile on his face, and his tail wagging, retook the podium. "I couldn't think of a better way to start of this meeting. Now let's get down to business. I would like to thank all of you personally for your efforts to protect the Earth, either during the Saiyan invasion or your preparations for any future conflicts. Some of you have risked your lives for us all. Some of you have even given them up for us. That is why I have decided to try and come up with something that could show both my and the rest of the planet's appreciation of what you've done. That is why as of today I have authorized a government pension for each of you for the rest of your lives so that you can focus on enjoying your lives anyway you chose without worrying about needing to work to survive. I know some of you may choose to return to your normal lives, but I suspect a lot of you will continue your training like you did before the events of the last year and I think I speak for everyone when I say we want to give you every opportunity to do so."

Everyone was surprised at the generous offer, especially when they saw the yearly figure they would be paid. King Furry then explained was that of the yearly pay of their top generals. They weren't going to be rich but they would certainly live comfortably for the rest of their lives. For those who had yet to be in actual combat though it came with the stipulation that they complete 4 years of service as military teachers teaching the rest of the military what they had learned.

Everyone quickly agreed to the terms it was more money than most of them had ever hoped to earn besides winning the world martial arts tournament that is.

The rest of the night was spent celebrating the unexpected gesture, though one person present was unable to enjoy herself. Late that night she stared up at the sky praying her husband and her son would return to her soon so she could have a reunion like she had seen today.

(2 weeks later)

Natu, a bustling trade world in a massive star cluster at the very edge of the Planet Trade Organization. The only reason it hadn't been taken over by the galaxy spanning cognominate was because it had nothing special to offer, and a very strict policy of neutrality. That policy had protected the world for millennia, even as dozens or even hundreds of regional and galactic powers rose and fell, all the way up until six months ago. That was when the planet's policy came back to haunt them, and gain them a new ruler.

Raditz though was not aware of that when they landed. Everything seemed calm, the planet seemed to be its normal bustling self. So he and Gohan decided the best way to find the supposed base here was to just explore the major city by the landing base and work from there.

Gohan's head was on a pivot, not because he was on guard just the opposite in fact. He couldn't help but be awed as he looked around owing and aahing at each of the main bazaars stalls.

Raditz though couldn't help the looks on the faces of everyone seemingly showed a nervousness when they walked by. He hadn't been to this world before so he wasn't sure if it was just normal for the citizens to be nervous of planet trade troops, or if there was something special going on today.

Whispering into his scouter he said, "Brat, be on alert, something seems off."

"Ok." Gohan said at a normal volume causing Raditz to have to suppress the urge to slap his face in frustration.

They continued on their way, before finally Raditz came to a stop in front of a salesman who seemed to have a larger reaction to his presence than the others. He was currently helping two rather large, burly customers.

The two customers noticed the change in the shopkeeper's demeanor almost immediately and turned to face the two new arrivals. The six eyes between them examined the apparent newcomers closely taking in both the planet trade uniforms and the scouters.

Two of the smaller creatures four eyes looked to his companion before the duo started to walk away from the Saiyans. Raditz felt his heart rate increase slightly.

"Did you know them?" Gohan asked Raditz tugging at the bottom of his uncle's armor.

"No, but I think we will soon…" Raditz said as he began to have second thoughts about the supposedly brilliant plan Vegeta had come up with years ago. "Come on brat, let's keep moving."

They had only traveled a few more blocks before both scouters sounded at the same time. Raditz's eyes slanted just as a half dozen warriors surrounded them both. The civilians in the streets rushed in all directions hoping to avoid the coming clash.

6 figures formed around the duo faster than Gohan could see, and barely slow enough for his uncle to follow their movements. Gohan still couldn't read the numbers on the scouter but he knew enough to know they were outmatched by there each fighter having 4 digits showing.

Raditz though had a much better handle on how much trouble they were in. 'Shit they are all stronger than me. Did they do that on purpose or did they just gather some of their best troops in case?" He asked himself each and every one of the power levels were nearly 4000. If it came to a fight he would have to transform to have a chance.

A large reptilian stepped forward, even if Raditz hadn't already detected he was the strongest it was obvious he was the leader of the group just by the way he held himself. "What is your business here? This is not Planet Trade territory so if you lie we will kill you." It demanded. The tone in its voice left no room for doubt it would follow through in its threat.

Raditz thought of how to best to answer the question, finally he let out a sigh. "We're not PTO, at least not anymore. We were actually looking for you." He explained as the leader's eyebrow rose in curiosity.

"Well then you found us. Here's your prize." Before either Saiyan could react, the other members of the mysterious group surrounding them had delivered bone jarring blows to the back of their heads. Both Saiyans slumped to the ground unconscious.

"Ugh…" Raditz moaned as he reached up and rubbed his aching head. His memories slowly coming back to him. 'At least I'm not dead...' He thought to himself as he hesitantly opened his eyes. His heart immediately started to pound in his chest. They were surrounded by dozens of fighters. At first most of them weren't paying attention, but the longer he had his eyes open the more turned his way.

"Ah our guests seem to finally be awake." A voice said from somewhere in the back. The sea of hardened killers quickly parted as the being made his way to the front.

None of his fighters even chuckled at what to Raditz seemed like a bad joke, there was an overwhelming sense of unease in the air.

The Saiyan warrior stayed silent expecting the obvious leader to continue. He was proven right a second later. "So do you care to explain how you managed to find us?" He asked finally getting to the point.

"We were looking for you because-" Raditz was stopped there as he took a bone shaking back hand across his face.

"The General didn't ask why you are looking for us. He asked how you found us!" A large orange alien shouted.

"Now that's enough Hammer, I can take it from here." The apparent General politely chastised his subordinate, the look on the subordinates face seemed to indicate his life was in danger though and he quickly made his way to the back out of sight.

Raditz couldn't help but feel a tickle of danger at the back of his mind, more so than the usual he would feel when surrounded by an army of powerful fighters. He gulped once and then answered. "My nephew and I figured out where your base was because we raided Frieza planet 129. They already knew of your location and had been ordered to attack this world personally. That won't be happening now though." Raditz explained as best he could.

"Oh and why is that?" The General asked his curiosity piqued.

"Because I killed every living thing on that desolate rock." Raditz said with a smug grin. Even though he was in a dangerous situation, he couldn't completely throw away the bit of Saiyan Pride that had survived the decades of being everyone's' punching bag.

"And you expect me to believe that with your power levels?" There was a hint of humor in the leader's voice as he said this.

"Actually yeah." Raditz voice took on a more defiant tone more similar to how Vegeta would try to act in this situation. It had seemed to work last time he was in trouble. "You see we're Saiyans, and I'm sure you've heard of what happens when we see a full moon." It was a risky gamble on Raditz's part since so much of the galaxy did hate his kind, but he was hoping the promise of two powerful warriors joining their ranks would be enough to persuade them to let him and Gohan live.

Pyros's eyes widened slightly at the claim, almost immediately he noticed the belt like tail wrapped around Raditz's waste.

"Interesting. So why did you save us the trouble?" Pyros asked.

"Because we recently were forced out of the Planet Trade." Raditz purposely avoided mentioning that they deserted. No army liked adding ex-deserters to their ranks.

"Forced out you say, interesting for what I wonder." Pyros asked, his voice almost hiding the tiny hint sarcasm in his voice.

Raditz though didn't miss it, his throat constricted slightly with fear. He needed to tell the truth to get out of it and hope his soon to be boss was more forgiving. "I left a set of purging missions to try and help my people, the few that were left. We were too late though, Vegeta and Nappa had already begun a battle with Frieza. We don't know who won, just that the entire planet was destroyed. So we were hoping to join up with you guys." Raditz hoped a man helping his own would resonate with the band of fighters.

Pyros seemed to consider for a moment. "Well then, I'm sure we can arrange something." Raditz didn't like the look on the commander's face.

Raditz premonition was proven correct just an hour later, right after Gohan had woken up.

The duo were dragged out into the center of a plaza. Surrounded by tents on all sides, the spaces between the tents were filled with dozens of fighters each eager for the show their commander was providing for them.

Four large fighters stepped forward, each an eager look on their face at the thought of killing the last two Saiyans. Each was from a species that had tasted the wrath of the Saiyan race in the past, and each was more than happy to return the favor.

Raditz gulped with fear as Gohan looked on confused, Pyros had explained everything while he slept.

(Flashback)

Pyros seemed to consider for a moment. "Well then, I'm sure we can arrange something." Raditz didn't like the look on the commander's face.

"What sort of arrangement?" The Saiyan tentatively asked.

"Oh nothing much for a fighter of your caliber. I mean you were able to take out an entire Planet Trade base after all. If you can defeat four of my men that I will chose in combat then you can join. Sounds like a fair deal doesn't it?" Although it was phrased as a question Raditz knew there was no choice in answer.

"At once...or one at a time…" He asked knowing the odds of him winning against four fighters at the same time, even with Gohan's help would be impossible.

"At once of course. We wouldn't want to make things too easy on great warriors such as yourselves." The entire room burst into laughter.

That was how they had gotten here; to their own personal public executions.

After Raditz quickly explained it to him, Gohan couldn't believe it. Every place he went it seemed like he was forced to fight for his life. 'Is this how it is everywhere?' He asked himself as he stared at the 4 monsters surrounding him. Though he already knew the answer, it was. His home had been the exception. But the universe righted that mistaken notion quick enough.

He growled to himself on the inside, trying to keep from shaking with fear.

Raditz wasn't doing much better. He knew he was going to take the brunt of the assault unless his nephew's mysterious true power rose up. But it was so unpredictable he wasn't sure there would be enough time to wait for it too.

So he turned to Gohan one last time, "This is do or die kid, there will be no mercy for us unless we kill all of them."

Gohan just nodded.

Pyros stepped to the center of the makeshift ring, eyeing all six of the fighters carefully. Then he raised one arm and shouted "Begin!"

In a flash Gohan was sent flying backwards from a powerful backhand from one of the fighters. The small Saiyan child could barely move after rolling a few dozen feet on the ground.

Luckily he wasn't the focus of the group's attention at the moment as all four fighters quickly went to work against Raditz.

The elder Saiyan was taking a beating, each and every one of the fighters attacking him seemed to be at least on par with his level, and the fact that there were four of them attacking him at once made the job of blocking almost impossible.

Finally his feeble attempts at protecting himself were ended as a powerful blow made it through his guard and crashed into his face. Raditz dropped like a rock, his head spinning faster than he could follow.

Hitting the ground didn't gain him any relief though as the four brutes continued to pound away at the momentarily defenseless Saiyan.

After another moment as Raditz's yells of pain slowly got quieter Gohan managed to sit up. His heart racing even faster, he saw his uncle helplessly struggling to fight off his attackers. Memories rushed through the child's mind, his father being helpless against his uncle. His uncle nearly being ripped apart on the purging mission. Then his imagination began to kick in as well, his mother likely faced the same situation during her own end.

A feral scream rocked the tent village as Gohan snapped. His power level surged upwards like it had several times before.

Pyros's eyelid rose slightly as his 'borrowed' scouter registered the surprising amount of energy emanating off of Gohan as he lurched forward. 'That kid's power level just spiked from below 300 almost 4000? Where did that come from? How could he hide that so effectively?'

Before any of the fighters attacking Raditz could react Gohan phased right behind one fighter's head landing a doubled legged kick right to the back of his head.

No one could react as Gohan charged up a blast in both hands unleashing it right into the bodies of two of the just turning fighters sending them flying like their first companion.

The final fighter was still just lifting his head up from delivering a painful low blow to the barely conscious Saiyan warrior on the ground. His movements were in slow motion to Gohan whose eyes shone with an animalistic hatred. In the four fighters he saw every evil deed that had been done to him, and for that he would get his revenge.

Gohan's hands, which had been stretched wide from his previous attack came together as the child slowly began to float towards the ground a large amount of energy flowing into his hands. Then he released it all in one massive yellow blast.

Just as the warrior, who had been completely unable to move believed his time in this realm had ended, someone appeared between himself and the blast.

General Pyros, simply reached out his palm and nullified the entire attack as if it was nothing.

Gohan's rage gave way to shock at how easily his attack had been stopped. And with the end of his rage came the end of his strength. Gohan quickly fell down onto his bottom and stared up at the General who was watching him closely, inwardly noting the decrease in the child's strength.

"General I was just about to-" The rest of the soldier's pleading was cut off by a simple hand movement by the General.

Finally he spoke, "That's enough for now. My assistant will take your uncle to the healing pod while I will consider your application. As for you and your men Sgt. Ket, I will talk to you later." Fear flashing across the Brute's face. With that the conversation ended and Gohan and a small green alien carried Raditz's limp form to the makeshift base hospital.

Pyros watched them disappear inside the tent, inside he could almost smile. 'If the kid is already 4000 at his age… he could be a suitable second in command. Most of the other resistance leaders would be weaker than him. I could finally begin solidifying control and bring the war to that damn Planet Trade.' Coming to peace with his decision the general turned and went back to his Headquarters, it had been a fun and very useful side show but now he needed to get back to running his rebellion, and overseeing his people's abandonment of this world.

(An hour later)

Raditz was just exiting the healing pod, his injuries mostly healed. When Gohan, who had spent the entire time sitting by watching him, explained what had happened Raditz couldn't believe it. Time and time again the brat's ability saved them both.

Within minutes of Raditz's release though the same small green alien that had helped him to the tank had returned and quickly guided the duo to Headquarters, stopping once along the way at the armory to issue them some clothing more complete than the wool bags that had been originally given to wear after their armor was stripped.

Now dressed in an orange, white and black jump-suit they were lead before the general once more.

"Now then, I have decided to accept your request to join us but on one condition more than usual. Not only do you have to obey each and every one of my commands immediately and without question but I also want any and all information you have on upcoming Planet Trade raids immediately.

Raditz smirked, "I have plenty of that back at my ship, I'll run there real quick and-"

"Not necessary, your ships are on their way here as we speak." Pyros responded evenly.

"Oh, even better then. I managed to get every mission for the entire quadrant loaded up before I left the base." Raditz responded trying to please his new boss, hoping he wouldn't have to deal with the same crap he had his entire life.

"Oh you did? Very interesting, if it checks out I will be sure to reward you." Pyros said with a genuine smile, suddenly even more glad the Saiyans had survived the execution.

"Thank you sire." Raditz said with a bow that Gohan quickly copied.

"Well you two are dismissed. You should rest up while you have a chance you will be sent out soon." Pyros said as he started to walk back towards his desk.

"Sent out where sir?" Raditz asked as Pyros stopped in his tracks.

"You and a team of my choosing will be sent to whatever planet the Planet Trade is to attack next. That is you will be if they accept my terms."

Raditz felt a shiver of fear go up his back at the prospect of facing off against the Planet Trade so soon, but he couldn't let that hold him back. "Yes sir." He said bowing again, then taking his leave.

After they had left the tent, and begun their way back to the mess hall Gohan turned to his uncle, "Do you think we can beat them?"

Raditz was silent for a moment, "I just hope the squad they have backing us up is good. Otherwise we might be in some trouble kid." Raditz responded, protecting a planet was a completely foreign concept to him. He wasn't sure if he could transform into his Oozaru form and not destroy the planet he would be assigned to protect.

Gohan stayed slightly the rest of the way to the mess hall, his mind far away. Inside he was glad that they would finally be protecting worlds instead of destroying them. A small smile forming on his face just as he disappeared inside the pleasant smelling tent.

Hey there everyone, I hope you enjoyed the latest chapter. This is the second of the first trilogy involving Gohan. My plan is to have a 2 chapter mini-arc about the main group following next chapter then return to Gohan for the next half of the Gohan mini arc. I'm going to try and keep things chronological so the second half of the Gohan arc could end up getting split up a bit as well just depending on where things fall.

Anyway I've decided to start updating the status of each chapter on my profile so everyone is not completely in the dark if things end up taking longer than expected for a given chapter.

Now for the reviews

RKF22-

Awesome can't wait to see how strong Gohan will get and if he'll control the great ape form

The path to him gaining strength has already begun lol. Whether he gains control of his Oozaru form though that is a bit different since the only other Saiyan he knows lacks the ability to control himself. Though Raditz is starting to make some progress in that regard as was shown in the last chapter. Whether he has the opportunities to continue his advancement will have to wait till another day.

Chapter 26:

I really like this chapter, you always seem to do a good job showing what it would be like for someone like Raditz in outer space where Power Level means everything.

and it's funny that really the only reason the Sayians are so weak is because the PTO never bothered to come up with a way for travelers to stay awake and move about while traveling. Either that or only Humans have ever even thought of the idea of training.

Glad you enjoyed my portrayal of Raditz and the other lower level pto troops, I tried hard to make it seem realistic based on the few clues I picked up from the actual show.

Based on what the show and movies have said regarding the Saiyans I think in the past they were much more powerful, even super Saiyans. But when the original legendary super Saiyan destroyed the Saiyan homeworld most of the powerful Saiyans died fighting it. What was left were probably the weakest Saiyans, the ones who knew they had no chance to fight against the monster and so they fled. In my mind at least they probably hoped planet to planet for many centuries before landing and finding a home on the planet that eventually becomes planet Vegeta. By that time so much time in space caused them to forget the means to become super saiyans and significantly weakened the subsequent generations. Though I do think you are right about the PTO having a poor way for soldiers to increase their strength, if the ships were larger they could train in between missions. Since most of the powerful PTO troops are considered mutants of their original species most didn't achieve their power through training anyway and probably wouldn't think to train. Frieza probably wouldn't want them to train either as it could lead to some of his own soldiers becoming threats to him and his portion of the empire. So I suppose it is possible that some used to train and were subsequently made examples of leading to a lack of training in most PTO soldier classes.

I hope all of that makes sense and that I provided an adequate explanation.

Chapter 9: I'm re-reading this story and I gotta say 9-10 are a little bit of a disappointment, design wise, because, well there was already an Arnold Android/Robot I can't remember its name but Goku did fight one in the red ribbon arch I think right after fighting 8.

Major Metallitron was his name and I actually had forgotten he was a thing lol. Sorry about the disappointment, I suppose it wouldn't be too far out of the realm of possibility that Dr. Gero wouldn't have initially attempted to improve something he had already designed once though. Anyway that's just the rationalization I've come up with for it to make sense, and I'll try to stick to it lol. Thanks for reminding me of him though.

anonymous-

Another awesome chapter
So raditz has started caring for gohan, even though only a little bit though
Update soon

Sorry I couldn't update sooner, I actually meant to but there was just too much going on for me to have much time to write. I'm glad you enjoyed the chapter though. Yeah he is starting to care for Gohan a bit, though it's partly because of necessity and because they have been trapped with only each other for awhile now. I hope you enjoyed this chapter too, I hope to further their relationship in the coming chapters.

reader-

I cannot wait for the next chapter, I hope Gohan will start getting stronger.

Sorry to keep you waiting then, things have been a bit hectic for me lately. Anyway yeah Gohan will start to pick up some steam soon, he's still much stronger than Goku was at his age but he has a long way to go to match his canon couterpart.

super mystic gohan-

radits may be weak at the moment but he is smart cant wait to see what crazy adenventures radits and gohan get on

Yeah he's had to be a bit crafty to avoid Vegeta and Nappa's tempers all these years. I'm looking forward to the adventures to, in dragon ball z you really didn't get a good look into alot of the goings on throughout the galaxy as a whole, so I will try my best to paint an interesting picture of the galaxy they all call home.

Guest-

Wow, this most certainly is a beautiful work in progress. I am looking forward to seeing this story progress. I have to say I hope we get an update soon

Glad you are enjoying the story so far, there is alot of progression to go that I can assure you but I think I've done an adequate job so far :). I have to say you lucked out, you didn't have to wait nearly as long as everyone else for this update lol.

MrCamtastic-

dragonballat btw I really like his story. If you guys can read it, it is a good original piece. Anyway dragonball at, gohan and raditz don't yet have the power level noticeable by king kai so that's why I think he didn't ask him to find him. Gohan and raditz's power right now is pretty low and nothing in comparison to the others so I imagine it'd be hard to late him that way!

Alright i will check his stories out sometime. You're right that is one of the problems with King Kai being able to locate everyone. But King Kai isn't infallible either, I mean he did manage to lose track of Goku during the destruction of Namek as well.

Well that's it everyone, see you next time.
