OCWaGH: Chapter 11

It did not take long for the three Eds to arrive at the condos. They went to the elevator to go to the floor that the meeting was being held on, arriving at Usagi and Co. apartment a minute later to ring the doorbell.

Only a few seconds passed by before Haruka answered the door, "There you three are," she stated as she stepped out of the way to let them inside, "The other three newbies got here a few minutes before you."

"Geez, thanks for the heads up on that," Eddy replied with a slight grumble as he and his friends entered the apartment.

They could see everyone was there, either sitting down or standing up. All the girls were not wearing their school uniforms anymore like they were yesterday; they now had casual attire. Double D wanted to question where they got their clothes in such a short amount of time but decided to hold onto that question for later, concluding the default answer to that question would be 'magic', at least for now.

It was then that Double D and Eddy saw who the two other three boys were Haruka mentioned, "Erik? Scott?" They both questioned in confusion.

"Oh hey!" Scott greeted the Eds as they walked over to them, "I had a feeling you two were the ones that Ed was talking about yesterday," Erik chimed in.

"So, you three are friends?" Robin asked the Eds, "I remember seeing you all before around the candy store near here in the past."

"Yep!" Ed replied with a big smile.

Everyone in the room heard Haruka clear her throat to get their attention, "Now that everyone is here, we need to go over some things," she glanced to Erik, Scott, and Robin, "Can you three show us the medals you have?"

The three teens nodded their heads as they reached into their back pockets to take out what they found yesterday. Everyone in the room looked at the medals they held; Jupiter, Venus, and Saturn were clearly shown on them.

"I see…" Michiru stated, "Seems like Mamoru also chose you three to help us with our task."

Robin made a slightly stern face as he looked back to the two young adults in the room, "The others mentioned that name yesterday. He was Usagi's boyfriend, correct?"

They both nodded their heads before glancing over to Usagi, who looked a little disheartened at what Robin mentioned, "Yeah, he was," Haruka replied.

"… Oh, sorry about that," Robin stated when he noticed their silence, "Didn't mean to bring it up that way. I just wanted clarification."

Usagi smiled a little to hide her sadness, "It's okay," she replied.

Ed made a worried face at her as he could feel the weird feeling from last night come back for a moment. He scratched his shirt around his chest and heart like he had a weird itch. Ed's actions were immediately noticed by both his friends.

"Anyway, Usagi and Hotaru told us that you would talk to someone on the force about us," Haruka stated as she looked over to Robin, "What did they say when you talked to them?"

"Well, since my dad is the chief officer, I showed him the footage of the conversation I recorded with them yesterday," Robin started to explain, "He had his doubt at first until I pulled up some websites about Sailor Moon, I remembered seeing these sites about a year ago, kind of on a whim. They were mostly about rumors and urban legends related to her, but it did help him understand that this situation was supernatural and not something the police could handle; especially when you told us about how the victims that were attacked had their emotions stolen. Plus, I think he's only agreeing to believe me because he knows I would never make something like this up. He's left me in charge of helping you out and keeping things in order."

Everyone in the room made a big sigh of relief at his words, "That's a relief to hear," Minako stated before making an internal growl to herself, 'Nice to know the police won't get in our way… Though I can't stand that they even know about us, but it can't be helped.'

"Hey, now that we've gone over that big hurdle…" Makoto started to say with a big smile, "We need to do some proper introductions with you three!"

Meanwhile, back at the not-so-abandoned house, we could see Brooke, Vivian, and Joshua walking back to the big house.

"We're finally back to our base of operations!" Vivian cheered as the three of them approached the front yard.

"You probably shouldn't say that out loud," Brooke stated with a small chuckle, "Other people might think it's weird for you to call the house that, even though it's true."

"Plus, you never know who's listening," Joshua explained with a sigh, "The Soul Breakers could be lurking anywhere, so please be careful."

"I know, I know!" Vivian replied with a small pout.

The three teens soon reached the front door of the big house, unlocking it with a key that Brooke had.

"We're back now!" Vivian stated as the three teens went inside.

"There you three are!" called out a voice nearby. The three teens could see three other teens walking down the big stairs nearby before walking over to greet them.

The first teen was a fourteen-year-old boy with short and spiky dark blond hair where his tuffs of hair went a little past his ears and neck and dark green eyes. The second teen was a fifteen-year-old boy with short, slightly messy dark red hair and dark hazel brown eyes. The third and final teen was a fifteen-year-old girl with long black hair that went to her waist, but was mostly pulled back into a bun and bright violet eyes; she was the oldest teen in the room.

"We were wondering where you guys went off to," stated the black-haired girl with a small smile, "I guess Vivian couldn't stand being inside for long, huh?"

"Yeah!" Vivian replied, "I had to get out of this house and explore; it's been driving me crazy since we arrived here last night!"

"We also went to scout the area a little," Joshua explained further to them, "You know, besides keeping an eye on Vivian."

The blond-haired boy laughed a little, "I don't blame you; she's always getting into trouble."

"H-Hey!" Vivian yelped with a pout once again, "That's not true ALL the time, Art!"

The red-haired boy chuckled at the two bickering teens before turning to the black-haired girl beside him, "Anyway, what's on today's agenda, Samantha? Will Ms. Meioh come by sometime today?"

"I believe so, Ken," Samantha stated, "She pretty much left the two of us in charge when she's not here. Since we are the oldest ones in the group, you know."

"Makes sense to me," Ken sighed a little, "Ms. Meioh is helping us out by keeping an eye on the siblings and the situation back home."

"Not to mention helping us with our training!" Art (who's named Arthur) stated, cracking his knuckles as he did, "All of us recently woke with our inherited powers after so long! So now we gotta put them to good use!"

"… Honestly, I'm sad that neither Lady Serenity nor Prince Zachary could join us," Brooke stated with sadness, "Even though they are the prince and princess, they are still our trusted friends. I also understand they stayed behind because Lady Serenity has more experience in handling her powers than us and because of her brother's health, but it makes me worry…"

Brooke felt Joshua's hand on her shoulder, "Everything will be okay. The princess and prince have the Sailor Quartet as their guards back home. Plus Ms. Meioh is keeping an eye on things from the Space-Time Door."

Brooke smiled to Joshua, "I know, but still…"

"… OH! That reminds me!" Vivian interjected, making everyone jump a little, "You three are never gonna guess who we ran into a moment ago!"

"… Uh, some sort of weird animal?" Arthur questioned.

"Nope! It was King Edwin!"

Arthur, Ken, and Samantha widened their eyes, "Wait, are you serious?" Ken asked.

"Yes, we encountered him and his friends… our dads," Joshua sighed, "He's younger right now; and so are his friends."

"Wow…" Samantha awed slightly to the twins and Brooke before making a serious face, "I hope you didn't say anything about who you three were… right?"

"Of course not," Brooke replied, "Though it felt awkward to see them this young… Father wasn't wearing his usual headband; I almost did not recognize him because of that, but then I remembered seeing pictures with him wearing this strange hat."

"I see," Samantha stated before looking to the group, "Anyway, we should ALL be careful to not say anything about why we are here. It could cause us to be distracted if we say anything about our mission to them, understand?"

The group of teens nodded their heads to Samantha.

"Good! Now that we got that settled…" Samatha stated before taking out something from her pocket; it was a henshin stick with the symbol of Saturn on it, "We should begin our training sometime today, more than likely in the woods nearby."

The group also took out something from their pockets; Brooke and Vivian had henshin sticks with the symbols of Mercury and Mars on them. Joshua, Arthur, and Ken had colored medals of Mars, Venus, and Jupiter engraved in them.

"For the sake of the future of Crystal Tokyo, we will defeat the Soul Breakers!"

"YEAH!"

"… It's so nice to meet you three!" greeted the girls to Robin, Erik, and Scott.

"Same to you!" Scott replied with a big smile.

"So, now that we all know each other's names," Rei started to say to the three newbies, "You three need codenames; we all have one, so it would make sense for you to get one too."

"Good idea," Robin replied with a nod of his head, looking at the medal with the symbol of Saturn he had in his hands, "It seems the non-Sailors all have Greek counterparts to the planets they're assigned to, so that would make me Chronos, right?"

"Well, yes and no."

Everyone turned to both Ami and Hotaru, "It is true that text records say Chronos is Saturn's Greek counterpart, but that's actually incorrect; it's been mixed up for a very long time in textbooks."

"Wait, really?!" Double D gasped in surprise, a look of fascination started to appear in his eyes.

Hotaru nodded her head, "Yes. As it turns out, the Roman gods of Chronos and Hades were swapped. Pluto is the true opposite of Chronos, while Saturn is the true opposite of Hades. Over time, they were swapped in ancient texts, I'm not sure how it happened."

"So… that would make my codename Hades," Robin concluded.

"Yes," Ami stated before looking to Scott, "Naturally, Venus's Greek counterpart is Aphrodite, but I'm unsure if you want that as a codename."

"And you'd be right!" Scott replied, "I'm not exactly against it, but if there's an alternative name you can give me, I'll take it."

Ami chuckled a little, "Of course there are other names; Adonis is a name that comes up often alongside Aphrodite. I believe that could work for you."

Scott rubbed his chin to think about it before making a smile, "That sounds good to me!"

"And I'm guessing my codename would be Zeus," Ken stated with a laugh, "That seems the most obvious one for Jupiter, right?"

"Indeed," Double D chuckled.

Haruka and Michiru looked at the group with a small smile, "Seems like everyone is getting along," Haruka stated, "Let's keep it this way."

"Yes ma'am!" the younger teens stated to her.

"So, are we done with the meeting for now?" Eddy asked, "I got something I need to do later this afternoon, and I can't be late for it…" he glanced away a little, "As much as I don't wanna see him…"

Rei noticed the bitter look on his face, 'Whoa, what's he so angry about?' she thought.

"Yeah, everyone is dismissed for now, be we should meet back up again before it gets dark," Michiru stated before taking out her cell phone, "We'll also need to register your numbers as well, so we can all keep in contact with each other, okay?"

"Of course," Erik replied as the other two took out their phones.

Ed stayed silent before he looked at his two friends, and then at Usagi. She still looked sad from the earlier comment that made her remember Mamoru again. Ed began to scratch his chest once more, "Usagi?"

Usagi perked her head up when Ed said her name, "What is it?" she asked.

Ed could suddenly feel himself become nervous like he did yesterday when he was asked who Usagi was by Sarah, "Uh… D-Do you wanna go to the candy store? We didn't get a chance to go there yesterday."

Usagi stared at him before making a smile, "Sure, we can do that!"

Ed made a big smile at her, "Yay! Maybe everyone else can come too!"

Both Double D and Eddy looked at their tall friend, realizing that Ed was talking with Usagi so casually.

'Usagi seems to have opened up a lot more ever since she arrived here a few days ago,' Double D thought to himself, 'Ed has also been acting drastically different, even compared to how much he's improved over the past few years…'

Double D widened his eyes a little at the thought, 'Could it be that Ed is developing feelings for Usagi? As a crush of some kind?! I guess it would make sense, but…'

"Whoa, you two are going to the candy store, huh?" Eddy questioned both Ed and Usagi, "I won't be going this time, so you should buy what I usually get; I'll pay you back!"

"Will do, Eddy!" Ed replied with a hearty laugh. Usagi could also feel herself starting to chuckle.
