Chapter 35: The Immortal Demon
"Tell me where's Goku." Garlic Jr. asked an amused sneer on his face as he examined his adversaries gathered adversaries. Each of them were nothing more than humans, not great heroes like Goku, monsters of his own caliber like Piccolo, or a strange oddities like Goku's meddlesome son, just weak normal humans.
Krillin was shocked, his mind was still trying to wrap itself around the fact Garlic Jr. was standing in front of him again. It didn't seem possible, he knew the imp was flung into his own creation by Goku's son years ago, he should've still been trapped in the darkness.
"He's busy at the moment." Tien responded trying to get a read on his strange foe.
'Damn no time for that, stay focused.' Krillin told himself as Garlic's voice woke him from his thoughts.
"Too bad, maybe I'll rise a few points on his importance list after I'm finished with you." Garlic said with an amused smirk, waiting for the humans to make their move. When none of them did immediately he decided to give them another prompt. "Well go on, aren't you going to try and get the sacred water?" He added looking as if he was holding back a laugh.
Krillin and Tien nodded to the others as all four launched at Garlic spaced widely at the middle and crisscrossing as they got closer in an attempt to keep their new enemy off-guard.
Just as they neared striking distance the ground around them exploded, leaving Yajirobe suddenly rushing Garlic alone.
As soon as the overweight samurai realized he was alone he attempted to stop in his tracks, and ended up sliding the last few feet towards Garlic.
Garlic just smiled for a moment before saying "Boo." Causing Yajirobe to involuntarily jump back and Garlic to burst into laughter.
Yajirobe then turned to see what had happened to the others. Behind him Tien and Krillin stood locked with a light blue and purple demon respectively. While Caspin lay embedded in the floor of the lookout beneath a large tan one.
Yajirobe then turned back to Garlic who had since stopped laughing. As soon as he looked the small warrior's fist slammed into his face launching him backwards. He slid across the surface for several seconds before coming to a rest and playing dead while he recovered.
"Yajirobe!" Krillin shouted as his attacker the large purple being too another swing at him nearly faster than he could block.
"Hey Master Garlic can we play with them for a while?" The largest demon fighter said with a laugh as Krillin struggled to support the force fighting against his arm.
"Hold on a moment." the blue imp said before raising a throne from the lookout floor where he could watch the combat unfold. "You may continue Vinegar" He said with a wave of his hand.
In an instant Tien and Krillin acted, they upped their Kaioken to a times 10 apiece and delivered a simultaneous kick to their unsuspecting opponents guts. Both Spice and Vinegar backed away, gagging on their bile.
Before either warrior could react the bald warriors twisted and delivered powerful sideways kicks to their heads in perfect unison, sending the two warriors flying backwards. Immediately Tien whipped around, "Dodon Ray!" He shouted, firing his attack right into the chest of the tan demon that had pinned Caspin.
Mustard never stood a chance as the blast cut right through his chest delivering a fatal blow instantly.
"No! Mustard!" Vinegar shouted distraught at the loss of his longtime rival monarch. "You're going to pay for that!" Vinegar was barely able to hold himself back.
Garlic's eyes widened in surprise, before an irritated growl emanated from his throat. The humans had so far surpassed his expectations. "Spice, Vinegar stop messing around." He ordered curious just how powerful these human fighters actually were.
"Yes Lord Garlic." Both said in unison before turning to face their foes again. "Prepare to see the true might of the Mayeko star!" Spice yelled. The change was almost immediate as both warriors were suddenly enveloped in a dark black purple light. Their muscles began to budge and grow as their power began to multiply.
Tien, Krillin and Caspin looked on in shock as the duos power continued to rise, while at the far end of the lookout Yajirobe began to plan his escape.
Finally the rise ended as the duo began to laugh, their power had doubled. "You're going to wish you had just breathed in the mist quietly I assure you." Spice said with a sinister laugh.
"Is this it?" Tien asked seeming relieved.
"Whew any stronger and I might not have been much help." Krillin added equally relieved.
"Hey guys hold off for a minute I can take these two without breaking too much of a sweat." Tien responded with a confident grin.
"Sure thing Tien." Krillin said as Caspin continued to look nervous.
Vinegar and Spice just looked at one another dumbfounded as the lone warrior made his way forward.
"You really have a death wish don't you!" Vinegar shouted, slightly unnerved by how calm Tien was now.
It was all over in a flash, his view changed in an instant from one of in front of himself to one of his master Garlic Jr. Something was strange though why was he looking at him that way? His view was rapidly changing again as the floor filled more and more of his vision, and he seemed unable to move his body to stop his fall, a sickening static was all he could feel as he hit the ground and lay still, trapped in his own mind.
Spice's eyes were just catching up to the Kaioken 15 wielding Tien who had spun Vinegar's head a full 180 degrees around from a single kick. The brute never even knew what hit him.
Suddenly Tien had vanished again. Spice whipped around expecting to find his opponent behind him. "Spice! Above you!" Garlic Jr. shouted too late as the three eyed warrior unleashed a tri-beam point blank into Spice's face. The smoking lower half of Spice's body stood still for a moment before falling backwards down the massive square hole Tien's attack had made in the lookout floor. Vinegar body was also vaporized in the attack.
"Enough playing around! Give us the sacred water!" Tien yelled his tone leaving no room for discussion.
Garlic growled for a moment before standing from his throne. "Oh you're already tired of playing? Too bad the real fun was just about to begin too."
Videl's eyes were wide as she looked down at the massive hole Tien's attack had cut in the Earth. She was just about to say something to Korin when she felt the same large power level from when she was with Caspin under the sea, only this time it wasn't alone.
"Mr. Korin-" she started to say before immediately being cut off.
"Get down!" The Cat martial artist shouted before throwing himself over her.
Almost immediately the sound of dozens of people cutting through the air rushed past them as they continued on their way up.
"What was that?" Videl asked afraid of the answer.
"Trouble." Korin responded.
Tien was the first to sense the coming danger. "Yajirobe! Get away from the edge!" He shouted to the still prone Samurai.
In an instant Yajirobe sat up and began to scramble away from the edge, but he was too slow. Something scooped him up in an instant and bit deeply into the back of his neck.
The three fighters looked on in horror as Chi Chi dropped the still convulsing Samurai to the ground. Behind her were gathered nearly 50 fighters, seemingly every person capable of using their Ki on the entire planet.
Only one word could accurately describe how they felt, and in their heads all three thought it at the same time. 'Shit!'
"Ahahaha!" Garlic Jr. roared with laughter at the stunned silent looks on their faces.
"Here they are sire, the human warriors, just like you requested." A small red demon said as he landed beside his master and dropped into a low kneel immediately.
"Very good Salt, I knew you could handle this job." Garlic said with a sadistic smirk.
"How does it feel knowing that the rest of the planet doesn't want you to save them and are even actively working against you?" He called to the human warriors before breaking into a mad cackle.
'Guys we're in trouble." Tien suddenly said telepathically. 'I can take Chi Chi by myself, but I don't think I can help with any of the others if I do.' He added, sweat beginning to build up on his brow.
'I can take Yamcha...damn we're screwed...' Krillin responded as he tried desperately to think of some scenario where they actually survived the fight without being bitten.
'This isn't going to work...' Caspin added as Yajirobe stood up, with fangs and purple eyes to match the others.
'Yes it is. Close your eyes!' Tien suddenly shouted mentally "Solar Flare!" The blinding light shot out in all directions as Tien and the others made their mad dash towards the depths of the Lookout.
Tien delivering a powerful blow to Garlic Jr's head as he passed by sending the reeling demon flying backwards and through the nearest wall.
Quickly the trio disappeared into the darkness of the inner parts of the lookout, hoping to find the sacred water, or at least Kami or Mr. Popo.
"Those rotten humans! When I get my hands on them...ah!" The blue demon shrieked in rage as he tried powering up in an attempt to clear his blinded vision, his healing ability was taking too long.
"Fools after them! I want them kneeling at my feet!" He hollered still trying to get the spots cleared from his eyes.
His minions, although in no better shape than he was at that moment, instantly moved to obey their master. They quickly launched after the three uninfected warriors, relying solely on their ability to sense energy.
Almost as soon as they entered the sanctuary of the Lookout, the trio split up, hoping to reduce the amount of time they would need to search the massive structure, and their odds of being captured.
Tien had decided he would search the riskier upper levels and send the other two to the relative safety deeper in the structure. It had been nearly 5 minutes since they had split up though and so far he had yet to find any sign of the sacred water or Kami and he was starting to get nervous. His solar flare had worn completely almost two minutes ago allowing his pursuers just another way to hunt him.
Already he had eliminated almost a dozen of the raw recruits who had stumbled upon him as he crisscrossed his way through the maze that was the lookout. So far he had been able to allow them to live, with a 'soft' chop to the back of their necks faster than they could hope to follow. He knew this strategy would be ineffective against one of the stronger fighters, he just had to avoid Chi Chi and keep looking for now.
Just as the thought crossed his mind though a hand shot through the floor catching his leg, and pulling him through the floor.
Before he had even touched the ground, of the level below the one he had been on, he had already prepared a Ki blast and fired it point blank into the possessed Chi Chi's face knocking her grip loose.
The attack barely slowed her down though, she had barely let him go before she had already launched back after him trying to go in for the kill.
He was able to parry the first attack just fine, blocking her swinging kick with his forearm, but she was persistent, as soon as her momentum was stopped she was already striking out with a jab aimed at his neck, his hand was just a second too slow as his body lurched backwards as he tried to keep from gagging.
It was during this moment of weakness that things went from bad to worse. From the shadows the red demon from before emerged immediately delivering a kick to Tien's temple. This tag team blow finally knocked the three-eyed warrior from his feet.
Tien didn't stay down long though, even though his head was still ringing, he instinctively rolled to the left barely dodging a downward swing from Chi Chi's heel.
Immediately he raised his hands "Tri-beam!" He shouted powering up to his Kaioken times 20, and launching a massive blast launched out catching the Kaioken enhanced Chi Chi on the side and causing her to rocket away through the side of the building.
His attention immediately turned to the small red demon, who had spread his arms wide preparing for an attack of some sort. Tien didn't give the imp enough time to attack, things were going to be hard enough dealing with Chi Chi without this minor road bump adding to his grief. He charged up to a Kaioken times 10 again and rushed forward preparing to finish him in a single blow.
Just as he was about to strike him though his entire body seemed to stop, red fibers of energy wrapped around him faster than he could untangle himself. "What the hell!" He shouted as he attempted to use his current level of power to push the strange cords off of him. Finally realizing time was short he pushed his power higher all the way to a times 20 and shattered the red binding attack.
He had waited too long though, just as he broke free he felt a set of teeth biting at his shoulder. Immediately he slammed his elbow into Master Roshi's face and let out a sigh of relief. Master Roshi was too weak to actually break his Kaioken strengthened skin.
His relief was short lived though as Chi Chi came flying back onto the attack, this time with several other of the weaker warriors including Nam and King Chappa.
In an instant the three fighters were on him as the red demon stayed back for now, Tien didn't have time to think about what his motive could be at the moment though as it was taking everything he had just to keep from being overwhelmed by the dozen fists swinging at him at any given instant.
"Yamcha please snap out of this!" Krillin yelled for the ninth time since the fight started as he was barely able to raise his guard in time to block the ex-bandit's latest bone crushing blow. Even with his guard raised the attack still forced the smaller monk back.
Krillin didn't hesitate as he used the backwards momentum to transition into a flip. Mid-air he charged up two small Ki blasts and launched the first one the second he touched the ground again.
Yamcha was able to knock the small but potent attack away easily enough, but it slowed him down just enough for Krillin to vanish from his sight from a moment.
The monk immediately took advantage of this and unleashed the attack from point blank range from right above Yamcha. The attack detonated immediately and launched the ex-bandit deep into the bowels of the lookout, the hard stone floors doing little to actually slow him down as he cut through them like butter.
"Geez, this is getting bad." Krillin said panting as he wiped blood from the corner of his lip. He had been fighting all out for a while now and so far he had taken a lot more hits than he had dished out. "The others better find the sacred water fast…" He mumbled to himself once more before powering his Kaioken up again just in time to block Yamcha's latest attack as he launched himself out of the hole like a speeding bullet.
Tien slumped back against the wall, his reserves of strength completely depleted, as he tried to catch his breath. In front of him lay the prone forms of all of his attackers except Chi Chi who herself was struggling to stand and the red imp who seemed fine with letting the humans wear Tien out instead of getting involved himself.
"Well then did you enjoy your last gasp of freedom?" Salt asked with a taunting tone to his voice as he made his way over to Tien.
Tien let his actions speak for him and stressed his body once more going to Kaioken times 7 and went back on the attack. His attacks were slow, even he could see that, he had taken too big of a beating and tried to keep Kaioken times 20 going too long. Salt wasn't even having to try to dodge or block all of his attacks.
A few more fruitless minutes and Tien's Kaioken aura evaporated completely and he dropped to his knees covered in a thick layer of sweat.
"All puckered out?" Salt said with an amused smirk before kicking the human warrior back into a nearby wall.
Tien lay still for a moment gathering the last of his strength before raising his hands to his face as fast as he could "Solar-" He was cut off by a blow to the gut as Salt seemingly materialized in front of him.
"Welcome to our side." He muttered before turning and walking through the door. Chi Chi was on Tien in an instant, his yells echoing through the lookout.
"Damn it...just give up already…" Krillin mumbled to himself as he tried to rise once more, beginning to charge up an attack.
Yamcha just stared back with the same fang-filled grin he had been using for most of their fight. The stare off didn't last long though as Yamcha rushed forward once more.
Krillin warred inside himself for a moment before firing, "Sorry about this Yamcha! Destructo Disk!" he shouted as a disk of deadly energy cut through the air veering off to the right slightly as Yamcha tried to dodge the attack in time.
Time seemed to stand still for a moment as both sides look each other in the eyes, then a spray of blood filled the air and Yamcha fell to the ground.
Krillin was shaking, "Damn it...damn it… Yamcha I'm sorry." He muttered to himself as the ex-bandit still tried to claw his way towards him, a 8 inch cut just beneath his right lung still spewing blood.
"Wow I was almost impressed with your ruthlessness for a minute. At least until you started blubbering like a baby." A voice called from behind as Krillin turned to see the small red imp that had apparently lead Yamcha and the others to the lookout to guard the sacred water.
Krillin was on his guard in an instant, he knew in the shape he was in he was in no condition for a full blown battle.
"Well, I guess it is my turn to play with you." Salt chuckled before launching forward faster than Krillin could block and began to let loose on Krillin.
Krillin was doing the best he could, but the assault was coming too fast, he could barely block any of the strikes. To make matters worse blood streaming from a newly opened wound on his forehead was completely blinding one eye. This fact was not missed by Salt who began to hammer away harder on that side, before finally finishing the salvo with a tooth cracking uppercut to Krillin's chin turning the human warrior into a human shaped speeding bullet cutting through the ceiling above him, and the next few layers before finally cutting his way through to the open air.
Krillin travelled through the air a short ways further before falling back to the lookout, colliding with the hard stone of the lookout floor.
"Ah so good of you to drop in." Garlic's taunting voice called from his left as the small blue demon rose from his throne an amused look on his face.
"Lord Garlic, here is the human as you requested." Salt said with a bow as the red imp landed.
Krillin stared up at him with a look of disgust. "You're...not going to get away with this…" he muttered trying to buy time for the others.
"Oh and just how could I possible fail now? I've already won." Garlic said before cracking up.
"Kami...will know where to find the sacred water...when he escapes he will save everyone." Krillin said both trying to get information out of the demon and distract him from the others still searching.
"Ha you fool! Do you really think you could buy time for your friends with such a lame excuse?" Garlic said as he pointed back towards the door Krillin and the others had entered the depths of the lookout with a short time ago.
Emerging from the darkness were the bruised and bloodied versions of Tien and Caspin, their eyes purple and fangs hanging from their mouths as they panted with exhaustion.
"No…" Krillin moaned as he looked on in horror. He really was the last one standing.
"Oh and before I forget, If you really were searching for Kami." Garlic said with evil smirk as he pulled the miniature trapped Kami and Mr. Popo from beneath his shirt. "Well here he is." He continued before breaking into a mad laugh once more.
"Damn it…" Krillin muttered to himself.
"Well this has been fun but I do have a world to rule. Go ahead give him a good bite." He said with a wave of his hand as the rest of the emerging infected warriors began to move in to end things.
Krillin grimaced as the first wave of them reached him gathered the last of his strength and prepared to generate the largest explosive wave he could manage. Just as he was about to release it a strong gust of wind rushed over the surface of the lookout. Every time it passed a warrior they stopped all movement and dropped to the ground. Within a second there was only one person standing in his immediate vicinity and it was one of the last one Krillin expected to see.
"I'm going to need you to hand over the old man Garlic." Piccolo said with an amused smirk at Garlic's surprised look.
'I...couldn't even follow his movements. How did he get that fast.' Garlic thought to himself an uncomfortable sweat building on his brow.
"I meant now." Piccolo's voice suddenly sounded from behind Garlic causing the imp even more confusion as Piccolo was clearly standing in front of him still.
Before Garlic could even begin to think through what was going on a sharp pain erupted from both of his shoulders as both were pulled from their sockets instantly. The pressure didn't stop there though, it just continued to build and build. Finally his body could take it no more and with one last scream of pure pain, sinew separated from bone and muscle and skin ripped apart leaving a suddenly armless Garlic to drop to the ground and writhe in agony.
"You're pathetic Garlic." The second Piccolo said as he watched the pitiful display for a second before quickly punting small demon to his other half. The Piccolo clone immediate caught the still in shock Garlic and with a simple motion snapped his neck and tossed the lifeless body to his side.
Salt just stood still, unable to believe his eyes, just what sort of monster was Piccolo that he could take down Garlic Jr. In under a minute.
"I guess that leaves you." the first Piccolo said as he began to make his way towards the terrified Salt before stopping and picking up Kami and Popo from Garlic's disembodied arms and continuing on his way.
"No...Please, I Ah-" Salt began to say to the first Piccolo as the second one vaporized him with a single powerful Ki blast.
"You get in a lot of messes old man." the first Piccolo mumbled as he snapped the tops off of both bottles, setting the Earth's guardian and his genie companion free.
"Thank you Piccolo, we are eternally grateful. With your actions here today there is hope that we can save the Earth yet." Kami said sincerely grateful.
"Keep your thanks, I only came here because that weak idiot thought he it was a good idea to challenge me and I can't show him my true power if you're in the way. I could care less what happens to this planet as long as I rule it in the end." Piccolo responded as the two clones of Piccolo merged into one.
"I see you haven't changed much after all, even after your fusion." Kami responded disappointed.
"Kami we must hurry and begin administering the sacred water." Mr. Popo said joining the conversation.
"Yes you're right. Let's go." Kami concluded before an unexpected voice joined in.
"I don't think you'll be going anywhere Kami." Garlic said from behind the group.
"How...how are you still alive?" Krillin stuttered his eyes going wide, still trying to lift himself off of the ground.
"Oh have you all already forgotten you can't kill me? I'm immortal!" Garlic shouted with an evil laugh.
Piccolo turned the rest of the way to face his small adversary with an amused look on his face. "I guess I will see just how immortal you really are then." Piccolo said as he tossed his weighted clothing to the side.
"You fool! Between the power of the Mayeko star and my immortality you cannot defeat me." Garlic Jr. shouted as his body began to transform into its more massive form.
When he was complete expected some sort of reaction from Piccolo, fear, surprise, apprehension. Instead he was met with the one emotion he never thought his transformation would warrant, humor.
"Is this all you've got, to be honest I'm disappointed." Piccolo said with a dark chuckle as he popped his neck and his knuckles and took his stance. "Old man, get that water and take care of the infected up here first, this won't take long." He added as he powered up to a Kaioken times 2 and vanished from sight.
He reappeared an instant later his fist already crushing Garlic Jr's jaw. The sheer force behind the blow sending a shockwave that knocked both Kami and Mr. Popo clean from their feet more than twenty feet away.
Before Garlic's body even had time to begin to accelerate away Piccolo had already appeared behind him, both hands held out together and pointed straight at his body. There was a sickening ripping sound as Piccolo's hands cut through Garlic like a blade causing the blue giant to vomit blood.
Garlic writhed in agony for a moment, his entire midsection filled with fiery pain. Piccolo's voice suddenly whispered in his ear. "I'm really going to enjoy this." Garlic's pain suddenly multiplied exponentially as his entire body felt like it was on fire, as Piccolo let out a mighty yell, and Garlic Jr. was left split perfectly in half, both sides falling apart a look of pure anguish still etched on his face.
"Let's see you come back from that." Piccolo muttered as he spit on one of the halves.
He watched on for a moment when something strange happened, one of the halves suddenly began to grow. 'No way...' He thought to himself as in under 10 seconds Garlic Jr. had reached his full size once more and rose from the ground.
"I already told you Piccolo I am immortal! It doesn't matter what you do to me I will simply come back!" Garlic shouted triumphantly. "It doesn't matter how many times you try to kill me, it'll hurt for a minute, and then I will be fine. I will just keep coming back again and again until you're too tired to stand, then I will take my time tearing you apart piece by piece. I can't believe your father actually had the gall to believe himself the King of the Demons, you filthy alien-"
Piccolo didn't look impressed by Garlic's speech. Instead he seemed to be simmering with anger instead that Garlic thought he could speak to him this way. Quickly he powered up his Kaioken once more and prepared to attack. "Masenko-ha!" He shouted at the still gloating demon. The results of the attack were astounding, the sheer power of it completely dissolving the demon's body.
"There, that finally shut you up." Piccolo growled out before turning to retrieve his cape, confident in his victory.
"Amazing...Piccolo destroyed him like he was nothing." Krillin muttered as he limped over to yet another of the downed humans scattered across the lookout and let a single drop of sacred water fall on their forehead. Trying his best to hasten the process of returning the other humans warriors to normal to aid in distributing the sacred water to the rest of the planet.
"Gwhh…" Piccolo audibly grunted as his body completely stopped moving. "My body...what is-..." Piccolo started to say his entire body seemingly locked still like it was made of stone.
"Piccolo are you ok?" Kami asked concerned as he tried to mentally probe what was happening to his counterpart.
In response Piccolo's eyes began to glow red and a dark, high pitched laugh came from the usually deep voiced Piccolo. "Never been better Kami." An all too familiar voice responded.
Hey everyone, thanks for reading chapter 35. I know last chapter wasn't the most exciting chapter so I tried to make up for it some with this one. Unfortunately it looks like the Garlic Jr. Saga is going to be extended another chapter just because of 2 reasons. First this chapter ended where I thought last chapter was going to end because I underestimated the amount of material this arc actually had; and 2. I'm going to try (emphasis on try) to keep updates as close to a chapter a week as I possibly can this summer. Reviews will be appreciated during this time, they definitely help keep me motivated when I'm in the depths of writing a chapter.

Now for my favorite part of the A/N the reviews :)
Reviews:
RKF22- Awesome work can't wait until they come to earth
I'm assuming you mean when Gohan and the others come to Earth. If so yes it will be an exciting time when Gohan comes home.
anonymous (review 1)- So onto garlic jr. Saga
Well I dunno how he'll fight the z fighter unless he is much much more powerful than canon because the z fighters surely are
Also I dunno if I asked this before or not, but well I'll just ask again :P
Is it possible to use Kaioken with ssj in this fic? Cause well having an additive system like Bringer of death means that base form can be around half the strength of ssj, meaning 3 Kaioken can exceed ssj so I think the combinations should be allowed otherwise ssj can be useless then
Also well regarding your papers I knw quantum mechanics can suck big time though it is interesting
So nw tht school and stuff is outta the way, updates can be more frequent for the next month or so?
Update soon
Yeah as you can see Garlic did have a bit of a hard time fighting the Z fighters, but this isn't your normal Garlic Jr. fight.
I think you (I think it was you anyway) might have asked about the Ssj-Kaioken combo before. It is possible to use them together but you're stamina using it would be completely shot, plus the risks attached to it would incredibly high. Ssj is a well of strength your body isn't used to. If you multiply that well of power the effects could be quite explosive.
As for Kaioken surpassing Ssj it would be possible for that to happen, Kaioken has its draw back though, namely the lack of stamina, it drains you much faster than ssj would. Also if you train in your super saiyan form you can increase your well of power as well.
Yeah it was interesting but the work attached to it was awful. Finally yeah i am going to try and update close to once a week for a while and see how that goes.
anonymous (review 2)- I dun think my review showed up when I reviewed so I'll just do it again
Well garlic jr. is a pretty pretty easy opponent UNLESS he is somehow much stronger than in canon as everyone knows the Kaioken and are more powerful than canon
Also I dunno if I asked it before or not but well I'll just ask again
Is ssj stackable with Kaioken?
Since u follow the Bringer of Death type system it means that the base power can be half of the maximum supersaiyan power and if Kaioken is not stackable then using a times 4 only goku could generate more power than ssj and times 4 does not put ANY strain whatsoever since it has been mastered by goku and the earthlings(few of them)
So it only makes sense being able to stack the 2 at least to some degree nt the crazy times 20 or something but still to some degree like maybe a times 6 or 7
Any ways update soon
Your last review did post, at least it shows up for me. It depends on how strong the Saiyans base form is, and whether or not they just completely ignored training their ssj state or not.
wheathermangohanssj4- Well if there was a weakness in this story is that all the fighters are starting to feel samy.
Chichi when fighting in the Namek Saga just felt like a reskin of krillien without access to the Distruckto disk.
So if you're going to continue using Major Med, Chichi, videl and so forth in the story you are going to have to make up at least one unique move that's just for them.
All the major fighters have this
Tien Has the Tri-beam
Krillien the Distructo Disk
Yamcha the Spirt Ball
Piccolo the Spiecl Beam Cannon
Gohan the Mesenko
For Chichi and Videl I highly suggest taking some of their moves from their Videogame appearances.
for Major Med. I kinda picture him as a Jane Claude van Dame's version of Guile from street Fighter 2 the movie sooo probably ripoff-...uh I mean homage some of his super moves from those games
Nice little start to the new earthbased arch here, although if this was just a story on it's own I'd say you didn't establish Marron enough on your own but whatever she shouldn't be around that long, and most people should know her from her short time in the original series.
Of course if she still around later I'd highly suggest going with my personal head cannon that 18 Maron Maron because it's the same theme as krilliens name and another word for chestnut, and krillien wasn't going to argue with the super strong woman that just gave birth even if the name sounded smilier to a girl he used to date.
Tien's comment on the Ginyu force just kinda made me realize well I don't think Gohan was emulating the Ginyu force in any way when he was Saiyaman it's pretty clear that he was just acting like a hero from some show his little brother Goten watched. People who think that Gohan shouldn't act like that would have to say, if he real hero ever suddenly came into existence, that he shouldn't act Like Superman because Captain Hero, from that shitty show Drawn Together, existed.
Hmm it's strange, when I read your mini Lord Slug arc it reminded me how I used to feel that Kami's and Piccolo's powers were connected in the same way, at least that's what this filler arch in the series made me think when I first watch it, because King Piccolo was basically a clone of Kami that Kami put all of his evil into before expelling which would explain why Piccolo had such a dramatic increase in power when fusing back together. And it was Kami's Several hundred year older body that is there only difference in power.
Thanks for responding to my question, I definitely can see the lack of variation in the human characters. I will definitely give diversifying the humans some efforts in their upcoming adventures. The attacks from the video game very well could make appearances, though they don't usually have ki attacks in the games so I may have to get creative.
I've never actually played any of the street fighter games to be honest, but I googled him and that is an interesting look for him. I have a different face in mind when I think of him but yours is fairly close. He was inspired by the military officer who was guarding King Furry during the King Piccolo saga, mainly the one who tried to fight Piccolo in hand to hand combat. Obviously he wasn't necessarily the same person but he is of a similar design.
I don't anticipate Marron's role being larger than her role was in the show, it is possible she appears one more time at some point or something though.
Yeah I always thought Krillin's daughter's name was strange given Krillin's past. I do think 18 probably had the first and final say on naming her lol. She definitely wore the pants in that relationship.
Yeah that's the feel I got from the Saiyaman arc too, him mimicking random super hero's he's seen before.
They very well could be connected in a way similar to this. It kinda makes sense because Kami was able to land a few hits on Garlic Jr. when he came back in the anime, if he was as weak as he was in Dragon ball it would be a bit of a plot inconsistently for the show. Then again that never really stopped the show before, plus it is possible Garlic Jr. could've been playing with Kami to make him think he had a chance, or maybe the Mayeko star was still too far away to affect his power much at that point. I did have a formula that worked for both the the Kami and Piccolo fusion and the Nail Kami fusion in the show. I hope I answered all of your points well enough.
super mystic gohan- glad you got the chapter up even thou been a while. I think you had a couple spelling errors but that's it your doing a good job with so much to work with and so many characters aswell and how long has it been since lord slug arrived now couple months or isit 8 months got abit confused on that bit
Thanks, I'm not sure if I will ever get rid of all of my spelling errors but I will definitely try to improve that in the future. It has been roughly 4 months since the end of the Lord Slug saga, so 8 months since the destruction of planet Namek. Sorry for not listing that in the last chapter until I saw you're review. Thanks for catching that.
Thanks again everyone for the reviews, I will hopefully have a new chapter for you next week.
