Chapter 47: The Offer

(9 Weeks after the Death of King Cold, on the Surface of Cooler Planet 69)

Raditz and Recoome sized each up once more, both suddenly much more excited for the next round.

In a flash they collided again, each receiving a fist to their left cheeks. But such a blow barely slowed them down as they instantly shrugged off the attack and launched their next series of attacks.

Recoome quickly ducked around Raditz's fist getting inside his defense with a bone bruising tackle, but Raditz was prepared for this and simply allowed himself to roll when he hit the ground. Using all his might he launched Recoome up into the air with a two legged kick and launched after him a blast already charging in each hand.

"Double Sunday!" The maned Saiyan shouted as he unleashed both beams.

The orange mutant simply grinned brightly as he backhanded both attacks away with a small effort. In that same fluid motion he charged up two small attacks of his own and launched them back at the maned Saiyan.

Raditz phased out of sight, only to be suddenly be plucked from the air by his hair as Recoome appeared along his path. He couldn't help but to let out a yell of pain at the surprise attack.

"Gotcha!" Recoome giddily sneered as he began to rapidly rotate, his speed surpassing the most powerful tornados in a fraction of a second.

Finally Recoome was satisfied with his speed and hurled Raditz straight into a nearby hill, which promptly crumbled beneath the force of the hypersonic impact.

The battlefield was still for but a moment, before Raditz exploded out of the pile his aura shining brightly as he rocketed back at his foe.

Recoome braced himself intending to tank the blow and quickly counter attack. But at the last second Radtiz veered to the right. His left arm shoot upwards as if he was lifting a large weight two fingers outstretched doing his best rendition of Nappa's signature attack.

Recoome had no time to react before the ground beneath him vaporized by a wall of energy Raditz had thrown under the ground just moments before.

A massive mushroom cloud shot high into the sky, and even the most powerful warriors present shielded their face from the blinding light.

Raditz dropped back to the ground his guard up, scanning the debris cloud for any sign of the mutant. He was panting heavily from the effort it had taken to fly at full speed while holding the detonation of his attack back, in addition to the massive amount of energy he had expended in it. He could only hope that attack did enough damage to make it worthwhile.

His hopes were dampened a moment later as Recoome's voice called out. "Not bad...Ha, ha, ha...that actually hurt." Recoome burnt and battered form emerged an excited grin on his face, but everyone could see the pain on his face that he was seemingly failing to hide.

Raditz decided it would be best to continue while Recoome was still staggered and immediately rushed forward, intending to begin hammering his opponent once more, while he thought of a way to deal some real damage to him.

It wasn't until he was in striking distance that he noticed a subtle shift in his opponents demeanor, the look of pain had vanished replaced with an eager, confident smirk.

It was at that instant Raditz realized he had been tricked by Recoome's act, and his mistake would likely cost him his life.

The air was forced from the Saiyan's lungs in an instant as Recoome brought his arm around in a vicious clothes-line. He wasn't done yet though as instead of forcing Raditz to a stop or flinging him backwards he slammed him between his other outstretched arm with as much force as he could manage, shouting "Got YA!" with a bright grin on his face.

A sickening snap echoed across the battlefield as several of Raditz's ribs cracked under the force of the surprise attack, his own momentum only adding to that problem.

Two more quick-blows, each enough to wreak massive damage to his already damaged chest. Finally Recoome punted Raditz's limp body high in the air. By the time Raditz hit the ground, a steady flow of blood was streaming from his mouth.

Turles' amused smirk immediately fell to an angry scowl. His cousin had been over-confident, a surprising fact considering both his day to day demeanor and the trepidation he had when the battle began. "Gohan, take your uncle back to the ship immediately, then return, you're up next." He ordered.

"Hey who said any of you were leaving." Recoome shouted.

His eyes flashed wide with surprise an instant later as Turles appeared in front of the brute, a dangerous look in his eyes "I did." His afterimage just now beginning to fade as Recoome realized he had an elbow in bedded in his stomach. Slowly the world fell dark as he slipped into a deep slumber.

A cold sweat began to build on the back of Ginyu's neck as he realized he couldn't follow the Saiyan commander's movements. A feat only Frieza, Cooler, and his arch nemesis Salza could claim. 'Just how strong is he?' A voice of doubt rang out in his mind as he silently cursed Cooler for the millionth time for robbing him of his ace up his sleeve.

"Yo Capt'n, just how fast is that guy?" Jeice hesitantly asked, likely sensing the unease coming from his commander.

Immediately Ginyu straightened his back a look of confidence flashed on his face, supported nothing but false bravado. 'He's fast, but I can take him." He lied, knowing he needed to keep moral up while he thought of a plan.

In the distance the small child warrior who had arrived with the other Saiyans quickly picked up his Uncle's body and took him back to their ship somewhere in the distance. If they could figure out a way to eliminate their ship, then they could possibly escape, with their tails between their legs and hope to blow up the planet from space, as long as they could reach their own ships along the way.

Turles caught Ginyu watching Gohan and gave a dangerous smirk, as if reading Ginyu's mind. "Just sit tight, round two will begin shortly." Turles said as he crossed his arms.

It only took a few minutes for Gohan to get his uncle into a healing tank and return to the battlefield, a look of anger on his face. If Turles hadn't had acted when he had he would've blown the giant orange monster away. He knew his uncle wasn't perfect but he was still family and he was in no mood to lose anyone else.

Silently the still fuming child took his fighting pose, without any of the hesitation or fear his uncle had held. He was confident with his inner power he could handle anyone besides Turles.

Ginyu stared at the child an uneasy feeling in the pit of his stomach at how confident the child appeared to be, even after seeing the first Saiyan go down. There was more than that though his scouter had registered a power well over 60,000 flash on his scouter for a brief second as Recoome was going down, he had assumed it had been his scouter attempting to measure the more powerful Saiyan, but he couldn't dismiss it was actually the child emitting the absurdly high readings.

"Burter you're up...but be on your guard. The kid might pack more of a wallop than the 45,000 the scouters are currently registering." He quietly warned the blue fighter.

"You can count on me sir." Burter said with a salute before stepping forward, attempting to keep his mind off of the titan who had defeated him before standing arms crossed a short distance away.

"You ready kid?" Burter taunted attempting to get under Gohan's skin. He was met back by a glare of near hatred.

Gohan did his best to contain himself, but they were the enemy. Some of the most powerful monsters the Planet Trade could throw at them. Defeating them would save a countless number of lives, there was something else he wanted to accomplish with his fight though. It took all of his remaining willpower to avoid tipping his hand and alerting Turles to his gambit, he'd have to be perfect.

Within a few seconds the battle had begun. Gohan's power burst forth, not as high as Turles had ever seen it, but it was already at his normal maximum of nearly 50,000, a number that should make this an interesting battle.

The first strike was Gohan's as his boot crashed into Burter's face as the supposed fastest fighter in the universe was slow to respond.

Gohan's attacks were nearly flawless as he hammered away at the clearly inferior fighter for what seemed like an eternity, before Burter was finally able to force him back.

Not even a minute had passed and Burter was already bloodied and bruised. "You little shit!" Burter shouted as his aura burned brightly before attempting to catch the child.

Every attack was just a second slow, it was as if the child was playing with him. Finally he had had enough and began to rain blasts high into the sky trying to hit the small, speedy target. Every blast was coming just short of hitting him.

Suddenly the child made a dive and veered in front of Pyros laying prone on the ground a short distance away.

This fact didn't even register with Burter though, his vision had narrowed to the runt who thought he could outrun the fastest fighter in the universe. "Take this!" Burter shouted, as he charged a massive ball of energy and hurled it at the suddenly still target.

It had been an entertaining fight for Turles to say the least, the idea that Gohan could actually taunt one of the most feared warriors in the universe was both amusing and at the same time somewhat troubling since he knew the power the boy was displaying was well beneath his absolute limit. A limit that actually challenged his own peak.

While Turles was dwelling on the disturbing fact that even with the Tree of Might at his disposal a small child was somehow able to keep up with him in strength, he began to notice a disturbing trend to the battle. Gohan was doing everything within his power to enrage Burter, which in and of itself wasn't terribly strange. But the fact the child normally didn't play with his adversaries, either reluctantly killing them quickly and painlessly when ordered, or in the case of the Planet Trade soldiers the child treated it as his duty to eliminate the vermin from the universe at his earliest convenience.

As soon as he made this realization though Gohan froze in place and allowed Burter to charge an attack.

'He's going to try to demoralize him by tanking a weak attack like that?' Was Turles initial thought, before he noticed who was lying just a short distance behind Gohan, still unable to move due to the deep injury to his abdomen. 'Damn him!' Turles nearly shouted as he rushed into action.

Gohan couldn't help but smirk as the attack rushed his way, he knew all he had to do was move any direction and let it harmlessly float by him and envelop Pyros, the bastard who was ultimately responsible for Shizen's death. It wouldn't be as satisfying as getting revenge himself he was sure, but he would have to make do with the fact he was making the universe a better place, without disobeying Turles's orders. It was perfect.

"Damn Brat!" Turles suddenly shouted from directly behind Gohan as he was about to dodge. At that same instant Gohan felt the back of his armor hoisted up and himself launched directly towards Burter's incoming attack. "QUIT TESTING MY PATIENCE!" Were the last words he heard before the blast filled his vision.

"Did I get him?" Burter asked confused as the smoke cleared, only to see Turles standing before him.

"You blocked it for him?" Ginyu shouted incredulously.

"No I threw the brat into the attack for disobeying my orders." Turles growled back. "But an attack like that couldn't hope to scratch him unfortunately." Turles added before pointing straight upwards

Gohan was floating above them slightly confused about how he had gotten there, but otherwise the only emotion on his face was that of irritation that Turles had interrupted his revenge yet again.

"Gohan back to the ship now, you will receive your punishment when I arrive." Turles growled, his rage still barely contained. This was not what he needed to deal with half of his crew already dead.

Gohan reluctantly nodded and followed orders, he'd knew he'd have other chances to eliminate the scum, the creature who reminded him of Frieza.

"Pretty bold move sending your backup away." Ginyu stated trying to continue his bravado.

"Not really." Turles replied as he loosened his shoulders up. "Let's make this more fun though, how about instead of a 1 on 1 match I take all three of you at once." Turles replied revealing in the looks of shock on his adversaries faces.

"If you want to hasten your death be my guest." Ginyu declared before rushing forward, Jeice and Burter flanking him on either side.

Turles stood his ground his smirk rapidly changing into a sneer as he caught Ginyu's opening blow as if it was moving in slow motion. Before Jeice or Burter even managed to notice that their Captain had been completely halted, a single kick lasted out, transferring its energy from Burter all the way through the Captain into Jeice, rocketing the trio away.

Ginyu was the first to get back up and immediately began launching a flurry of attacks aimed at buying him some time.

Things were as bad as he imagined them to be. No matter what strategy he came up with he could only see it ending with failure.

Turles phased his way through the attacks in an instant, even faster than Ginyu realized. "Is that all the legendary Captain Ginyu can muster? Or are you still not taking me seriously." Turles voice came from behind.

Immediately Ginyu launched a powerful blast behind him scarring the planet's surface for miles. Only for his blast to be interrupted by a knee to his face.

The former mercenary skidded across the surface for dozens of feet before he could summon enough Ki to slow himself down.

As soon as he was back on his feet though, a fist shot through his defense and slammed into his chin.

Ginyu stumbled back, his head spinning worse than it ever had before, barely able to block the next attack and then the dozen after that. It was as if the Saiyan opposing him had grown an additional 6 arms which were raining down on him in a perfectly choreographed dance of agony. A part of his mind couldn't help but wish to make the dance his own and share it with the universe.

His momentary lack in concentration was all it took for his tentative defense to fall. Within seconds Ginyu had been beaten onto his knees.

He could only stare up at his soon to be killer with as much defiance as his shattered pride allowed him to muster.

Instead of a finishing blow though Turles crossed his arms, a slightly disappointed look on his face. "That's enough fun for now. It's time to get down to business."

Ginyu fell onto his back, both out of relief and surprise. "And... what business... would that be?" He asked panting while looking up at the being that held his life and the lives of his men in the palm of his hand.

"Well you see, you happen to have something that I am very much interested in obtaining." Turles replied waiting to see if Ginyu could figure out where he was going.

"And what... would that be? At the moment... I don't even have my own freedom." Ginyu replied bitterly.

"The legitimacy I need to jump start my war against the Planet Trade, and finally take my rightful place as ruler of the universe of course." Turles declared with a smirk waiting for Ginyu's reaction.

GInyu was taken aback, he couldn't help but think 'Just how powerful does this Saiyan think he is?' An awkward silence fell for a brief second as Ginyu realized he was expected to respond. "I...uh…" He paused and collected himself. "While it is true you are powerful, I'm not sure you are up to the level Lord Frieza was, nor that Bastard Cooler, do you have some proof that you can defeat them, let alone King Cold?" Ginyu knew he was rolling the dice, most would-be dictators wanted an immediate yes as the only acceptable answer.

Turles smirk turned into a full grin. "Good you're not all muscles, but you think things through as well. Very well I admit I'm not quite as strong as the 530,000 Frieza was rumored to be at, in my current form, but as you are well aware Saiyans can transform and increase our power immensely. So if I can decide the battlefield there is not a single creature in the universe that could hope to compete with me. But even besides that I still have an ace up my sleeve, do you care to know what it is?"

Ginyu felt his throat tighten slightly, not out of fear or anger, but in hope, hope that what Turles said was true, that he would be powerful enough to kill Cooler once and for all. "Sure." Ginyu managed trying to keep his face as neutral as possible.

Turles simply reached under his armor and revealed a single reddish-orange fruit. "This is the fruit of the Tree of Might. Each bite you take increases your power by nearly unbelievable levels. Even if I'm not a match for Cooler right now, except on a full moon, within a few short months I know I will be."

Ginyu couldn't take his eyes off of the fruit. He had of course heard the legends of the fruit that granted its users nearly limitless strength, be he had always believed they were just that, legends. Never did he believe he would be standing there looking at the fabled fruit. But as tempting as it was he still wasn't truly convinced it was true.

Turles detected this immediately and tossed the fruit to him. "Here, distribute it to you and your men, and I think it'll be all the proof you need. If you find its effects to your liking you and your men will receive a share of the fruit harvested from every planet we visit as long as you pledge your loyalty to me"

Quickly Ginyu took a bite of the fruit and felt a sensation unlike anything he had ever even imagine before wash over him. His body was suddenly healed, more than that though his strength had increased a noticeable amount from just a single bite.

He was immediately tempted to try and finish the fruit himself and crush the Saiyan standing before him, two things held him back his honor as a warrior and the fact he realized that the Saiyan would never give him the fruit if he wasn't sure the gap between them was more than the power a single fruit would give him. So he silently broke off pieces of the fruit and delivered it to his men and watched them marvel over their suddenly increased power. It was when the last of his men had risen from the dirt that he made his decision.

He knew Frieza's power level was at least a million and likely much more than that even since his master was definitely stronger than Cooler and from the rumors he had heard Cooler was north of 2 million. But between Tree of Might fruit and the Saiyan ability to transform and increase their power by an order of magnitude it was only a matter of time that Turles surpassed Cooler and potentially even King Cold himself.

He turned back to Turles a serious smile on his face. "Lord Turles I pledge my loyalty and the services of the Ginyu Force to you from this day to the day we die. I ask you but one additional condition though." His smile vanishing behind a look of utmost seriousness.

"And what would that be?" Turles asked his tone matching that of Ginyu.

"When the day comes that we overthrow Cooler and destroy the Planet Trade, please allow me to be the one to kill him myself." Ginyu pleaded before prostrating himself before his new commander.

"We have ourselves a deal." Turles said with a smirk.

Ginyu immediately shot into the air feeling more joy than any point since learning of Frieza's demise. "Please allow me to dance for your pleasure, the Ginyu dance of joy Lord Turles!" Ginyu declared before immediately beginning his dancing.

Turles was stunned silent for a moment before interrupting the dance, his face twitching slightly in agitation. "If you wish to dance, I will not stop you. But never do it in front of me again, when you're done, grab Pyros and have him guide you to the ship. " He ordered before leaving.

"As you wish Lord Turles." Ginyu responded, feeling a sense of Deja vu as he remembered Lord Frieza giving him similar orders on multiple occasions.

"Boys I think we're going to like our new team." He declared before hoisting the still injured Pyros from the ground and taking off after Turles. The rest of the Ginyu force followed in stunned silence at the sudden change in their lives. They could only hope their Captain had made the correct decision to betray the Planet Trade.

(4 Months after King Cold's death)

Vegeta's fist began to tremble with rage as he felt the powers flashing in the distance. Kakarot had rebuffed his previous attempt for a battle, and now the coward had actually surpassed him again. Finally the Saiyan Prince could contain his frustration no more, his fist slamming into the wall of the gravity chamber. It didn't seem to matter how high he set the gravity, or how hard he pushed Nappa, he couldn't deny the fact he was falling behind. To make matters worse, their host had apparently taken an interest in Vegeta. She had on several occasions attempted to gain Vegeta's attention.

What was worse Nappa couldn't even keep up with Vegeta since his ascension. The General's power was leveling off, while Vegeta's own strength kept on its own exponential growth. "Enough! Nappa shut the gravity off, we're leaving." Vegeta ordered. He needed to defeat Kakarot once and for all, to banish the creeping need from his bones.

Nappa didn't hesitate to follow Vegeta's orders. As the Saiyan Prince silently took to the sky.

Goku and Piccolo sat down on a nearby stump; their bodies completely exhausted from their extensive training, most of the rest of the fighters had left for the day while they let the two titans continue their struggle.

"Kakarot, it is time to settle this." Vegeta's voice boomed from above. The Saiyan Prince slowly descended towards the pair, his arms crossed with contempt.

"Settle what Vegeta?" Goku innocently asked, looking confused as one of his eyes slowly swelled shut from one of the thousands of punches he and Piccolo had exchanged in the previous hours.

A vein popped slightly on the Prince's forehead, he couldn't believe the buffoon beneath him had stolen his honor from him. "To settle once and for all which of us is truly the Legendary Super Saiyan." Vegeta declared before beginning to power up preparing for what would likely be the first battle between Super Saiyans in history.

Sorry for another long wait everyone, I had a bad case of writers block for most of the last month, so when I finally had a break in it I cranked out most of this chapter, so I'm sorry if it seems kinda rushed. Anyway I hope you all enjoyed the chapter, I gave it an extra round of editing so hopefully it isn't too rushed.

As far as the story goes things are going to shift back to the characters back on Earth for the next few chapters, as i'm sure everyone figured with the bit I added at the end of the chapter ;). So before we shift over there I will provide a PL list for the last couple of chapters.

Pyros - 37,000 (still hasn't gotten a bite of Tree of Might)

Cacao - 44,000

Diaz - 45,000

Recoome - 48,000

Burter - 50,000

Jeice - 50,000

Captain Ginyu - 123,000

Raditz - 50,000

Gohan - 50,000

Gohan (Enraged at watching his uncle beaten) - 65,000

Turles (After eating half of Cooler 69's fruit) - 250,000

As you can see Turles isn't taking anything for granted since Gohan almost overpowered him during his last real fit of rage, leaving everyone else in the dust.

A special thank you to everyone who reviewed this chapter, the last batch of 6 the story we got about a week ago not only pushed us over 350 reviews, but also helped me get through my writers block and get the chapter written :).

Reviews:

Jhotenko - Not ten minutes before you posted, I thought about this story, and wondered when the next update would come. Clearly I have some form of precognition which I must learn to harness.

Wow, Turles and the rest are very lucky that Cooler was nowhere nearby. Typical saiyan arrogance, leaving the com tower intact... At least he paid for that arrogance in a way, with the death of his two loyal men. Now the only subordinates he has are only following him out of fear, and would gladly kill him given the chance.

As always, I look forward to your next update.

I wonder if your precognition picked up this update as well? If not hopefully we can get you some more practice before the story is finished ;)

Yes Turles is insanely lucky that his plan actually worked. His leaving the com tower intact was very much on purpose though. He wanted to draw out some of the Planet Trade elites to test his new power on, so he should be very glad it was just the Ginyu Force to pay him a visit. Even if it was just Cooler's Armoured Squadren showing up he would be lucky to survive the fight, let alone of any soldiers left in his little crew.

And you're right that is a very big price for Turles to pay, Pyros would gladly kill him. Gohan and Raditz though likely wouldn't unless pushed to extremes. Even though Turles was the one to order them to kill Shizen, Raditz understands that it was Shizen's decision that prevented him from convincing Turles to spare him, plus Pyros was a dick and blasted a hole in his gut. Gohan on the other hand, is more concerned with how much he hates Pyros. Pyros is his second least favorite person in the universe behind Frieza. So in a way both Raditz and Gohan have some loyalty to Turles just because he is better than working for Vegeta, Frieza, or Pyros. Plus there is the fact they are loosely family and the last three Saiyans in the universe (in their minds). If it came to an actual life or death struggle Gohan would probably be unnerved by how much Turles looks like Goku still as well. So lots of complicating factors. In the end though you can see it works out for the better for Turles and company, with the recent additions.

RKF22 -

Excellent can't wait to see how strong they've become

Glad you enjoyed the chapter. Their growth is accelerating, still well behind the heavy hitters though.

anonymous -

Really nice chapter
I think our heroes and cooler will come face to face soon and turles and cooler are so severly underestimating their opposition and it will come to bite them in the ass
Also now that turles knows frieza was killed by someone who looked like him and assuming he knows abt the legendary dragon balls of namek he would be able to put 2 and 2 together for sure, with a little help from raditz sure
I can see them going to earth soon using raditz's directions
Maybe around the same time as cooler gets there
Also don't rush gohan's transformation to a ssj or anything let it come its due course (i knw you would but just to make sure I wrote it)
Update soon

Glad you enjoyed the chapter. Underestimating your opponent is a frequent occurrence, so I wouldn't be surprised if they do have some bite marks on their collective asses at the end of the arc.

I alluded to Turles at least being suspicious about the possibility of Goku somehow surviving his encounter with Raditz and being able to fight Frieza. He has probably heard of the Legendary dragon balls of Namek, especially since he found another supposed Legend in the Tree of Might.

Don't worry I plan on Gohan's transformation to coming in due course. He is still a ways off at the moment.

I have this story in my favorites...I check in weekly. Always a pleasure to see a new chapter up!

Have a great Holiday Season!

Sorry you had to check in for so many week all for naught, I feel bad I make you all wait so long between chapters. But I do try to get them up as fast as possible. I hope this update made your wait worth while :)

I hope you had a great Holiday Season too :)

Simgr101 -

well the ginyu force battle. damn ginyu's depressed. hes not even allowed to do his poses anymore. poor guy. while he was just a merc who got hired by frieza in the past. cooler went out of his way to enslave the ginyu force. what a dick.

now glad to see gohan again. see here is good in terms of characters and knowing who they are and where they are on earth its a little confusing ill say at present. i do hope that does get fixed up

yes i really encourage you to read that fic. its pretty much frieza's revival while fixing up several plot holes. like frieza's army either being turned into androids or using the fusion technique to keep up with the z fighters. frieza himself instead of training and reaching god level finds the way his species way of reaching their god form. has me pumped for the sequel as well that may come out cause man it just leads on especially with the neural chips frieza creates. its a fantastic read.

with the cooler movies. the first one yeah i liked the look of his new form but again that hype died quickly made it just well was there really a point. so i do hope hes a lot stronger than that movie version. i did find this little what if video on youtube the other day. really well done. its like if vegeta ended up killing frieza and then attacks the z fighters and has his fight with goku only then cooler shows up. this is roughly when he starts transforming and honestly i feel captures that desperation that should have been there /5W_uWab7jIo?t47m45s from there is that transformation finish

Yes Ginyu was in a very dark place. He hated Cooler with a burning passion to begin with, so to be enslaved by him and run literally ragged was weighing on him pretty hard. Cooler's hatred of him was mutual though, hence the enslavement, and the brain surgery.

I am slightly confused about what you were trying to say in the second paragraph unfortunately. If you mention it in any follow up reviews or pm me or something I would be glad to send you a response about it.

Well that's interesting. Plot holes are one of the few issues I have with DBZ so it is always nice to see what different people come up with to fill them.

Oh cool I will check the video out, should be an interesting watch.

Thanks again for the review :)

super mystic gohan -

nice chapter mate great you came back aha but what ship landed on earth? I don't even know who it could be aha and also the ginyu force are dead lol reading radits was fun hope to see another update soon also turles lost all the old crew I wonder how much longer he will be alive for.

I re-read the chapter and there isn't a section of the last chapter that takes place on Earth. Turles and his crew are attacking Cooler planet 69 if that is the ship you meant. Yeah the Ginyu force was in some trouble there for sure lol.

Yup Turles lost his old crew, but he is onto bigger and better things now though.

wheathermangohanssj4 -

Well, this will be interesting, a Ginyu force fight where it isn't onesided and Ginyu can't steal new power.

I do hope that the offical end to the "Turles Arc" with Gohan has to do with Gohan stopping then from planting a tree on a planet that even though is technically in frieza control but just full of innocent people, showing him that yes, this has to stop.

Sorry if the Ginyu fight disappointed you. While Raditz and Gohan are equal to the lower level members of the Force, Turles is at a point where he is the elephant in the room. I hope you did enjoy the Planet Namek fights with the Ginyu force though (way back when). That was a lot more even playing field.

That could be an interesting end to the arc. There would need to be a major shift in power to occur though since Turles is currently doing his best to pull away from Gohan's hidden power.

bmxasdfg - (Chapter 24)

Doesn't Super Sayain give a 50x multiplier to a Sayain's strength. Going by that Goku would have a power level of 250,000,000 in his uninjured state not 152,000,000.

Only thing I can think of is that you are reserving the 50x multiplier for the Full Power Super Sayain state, or you are basing his power level off of "Goku (post Cargo healing) 3,000,000" (from chapter 21).

Great story by the way I've been enjoying it immensely.

(Sent as PM as well)

Yes alot of people put Super Saiyan as times 50 boost. I'm more of a believer in the Bringer of Death model though. An additive transformation instead of a multiplicative transformation. It just seemed to fight better with the the actual fights shown in the show.

I'm glad you are enjoying the story though, hope you continue to enjoy it :)

Guest -

Funny thing, when i thought about creating a fanfic about freeza's race and planet i thought planet name frost lol.

It is the perfect name for the homeplanet of the Frost Demons lol :)

PippElulu - (Chapter 24)

UGH! I AM ACTUALLY GETTING SO SICK OF THIS! IT'S BEEN 24 CHAPTERS AND FOR AGES, GOHAN HAS BEEN SO CLOSE TO REUNITING WITH CHI-CHI AND GOKU, BUT NOOOOOOOO! IT'S NOT EVEN ENTERTAINING AND SUSPENSEFUL ANYMORE! IT'S JUST ANNOYING! I AM SERIOUSLY BEGINNING TO DISLIKE RADITZ AND GOHAN!

*huge breath* Sorry about that, I really love this story. It's amazing! But the whole Raditz/Gohan stupidity thing is getting really old.

(Answered in PM as well)

Sorry I am mean about the twists involving Gohan sometimes, it is tough love I assure you; there is a method to my madness. It mostly has to do with character development of those closest to the situation. Goku, Chi Chi, Gohan etc. Hopefully you'll think it was all worth it in the end though. Glad you love the story, I hope you continue too :)

(Chapter 27)

I saw that last line at Gohan's relief to protect planets now and I kinda just sighed happily. I really have despised Gohan for awhile because he was WILLING TO MURDER BILLIONS to SAVE BILLIONS? That whole oath he made to himself, never let a child be without a parent, never let the weak be prayed upon. All I wanted to do was scream. WELL LOOK WHO'S DONE BOTH OF THOSE THINGS"

I really hope Gohan and Raditz get better from here on out because so far I am not pleased.

Weird that I adore every inch of this story except for anything involving those two...hmm.

Well since I am eliciting such a strong reaction about those characters, I unfortunately think that means I am doing what I intended with them. They aren't supposed to be very likable characters at the moment. Raditz is and always has been an unrepentant murderer of countless billions willing to kill even his own brother and kidnap his nephew only to increase how quickly they can kill. And Gohan is more deserving of pity I guess. The way I picture his character is he was a happy 4 year old, who had both of his parents (in his mind) murdered and is forced to work with their murderers. So in the begining he has a complex need to rely on those he hates and well his hatred of them. You then have the fact Vegeta and Raditz have both been very manipulative towards Gohan, changing his view of how the world should work to make things easier for themselves. Gohan though wasn't always a murderer, he still remembers his fathers stories of being a hero and idolizes those. His view of what it means to be a hero though is being distorted by both the world he is being forced to live in and the distortions caused by both Raditz and Vegeta.

So I guess long story short, they are both complex characters who at the moment shouldn't be liked too much. Hopefully that makes sense so you can at least understand their roles as they stand right now.

(Chapter 33)

"Never will anyone be hurt again" said the boy who just decided to raze planets.

I feel like I'm being so mean in my reviews and I'm really sorry for that. I promise, I ADORE your story! The plot twists you have are amazing! Especially with Chi-Chi!

...if you want me to LIKE Gohan and Raditz? No, not working. I despise Raditz because he's the reason everything is happening and I'm sick of Gohan's hypocrisy. Each time I see they're names at the first few sentences of a chapter I actually groan in disappointment because each chapter with them in it just makes me dislike skyrocket.

Sorry for my complete bitchiness xD You're making a hella good story I just can't find it in me to like Gohan and Raditz *le shrug*

Normally I don't review a story until the very last chapter but those two have actually made me review...wow...

I mean even though it is out of your dislike of those characters I still like to hear what people think about the chapters. So I appreciate the reviews. I hope I answered your concerns listed in this chapter with the answers above, but if I didn't feel free to PM me about them and I will try to answer them ASAP.

Anyway thanks for the reviews I'm happy you are mostly enjoying the story. And I'm glad it is good enough that you are still reading even though you dislike those two right now. :)

SuperVegitoFAN - (Chapter 29)

IIRC the dbo thing gave earthling chars ss from a wish... the wish amplified the saiyan genes that by then had spread to the population

(Also answered in PM)

Oic very cool. Yeah a whole planet of Super Saiyans would be nuts.

(Chapter 31)

Shizen is a KANASSAN... cant believe i didnt see it coming...

And said evil is Cell, im throwing down my cards on Cell.

Yup, a bit of a plot twist considering Raditz and Gohan's family history lol.

As far as the evil is concerned I unfortunately cannot comment on that at this time, other than to say that is a solid guess.

(Chapter 37)

Taris? nice... hopefully the tree of might group doesnt do kashyyyk.

I'm glad you noticed that lol. I was hoping a lot of people would get a kick out of that. I mean there are no guarentees they won't, but I do have a soft spot for Wookies so I will do my best to keep their attention elsewhere for the time being :)

Thanks for the reviews btw :)

Welp that is all for this chapter, thank you all again for your patience. I hope you all enjoyed it and are excited for what comes next :)!
