Chapter 51: A King is Crowned

(5 months after the defeat of King Cold)

"My Lords! We just received a report that 3 more planets lost communication just last night!" A yellow avian technician said with a deep bow.

"3 planets?" Avo said staring slightly surprised at the change in the pattern.

"That monkey bastard is getting cocky." Cado smirked as he finished his other half's sentence.

The 'pattern' had been essentially the same since Turles made his announcement. Planet after planet fell, always in as close to a straight line as possible, towards the capital of what was once Frieza's territory.

"It's like he's trying to goad us into attacking." Ado noted his tone sour.

"If this continues they'll start getting to the important planets soon." Cado replied, the duo thinking out loud to each other now.

"With Ginyu backing him his strength is considerable…" Ado continued.

Both reached their decision simultaneously. "We must act."

Turles' strategy at its heart was simple, take a planet. Leave a single crewmen alive to manage any calls coming to the call station while the tree grew. Then after having their fill, destroying the station and moving onto the next planet. That way he was always a planet or two ahead of where his prey would think he was, just to avoid giving them time to set up a trap.

After a few successful raids he slowly became confident enough to extend his fun breaking his team into 3 scouting parties searching for any signs of Avo or Cado before taking the planet.

They had taken 30 planets waiting for the battle to start. With each planet conquered Turles began to lose more and more of his patience. More than anything he craved what was likely to be his last real fight ever. With every fruit he ate the odds of them even posing a challenge decreased, but at the same time with the threat of Gohan's ever expanding power behind him he simply couldn't take planets off either.

It should at least be coming to an end soon though. He had positioned himself right on the edge of worlds the current commanders of the Planet Trade couldn't afford to lose, their research hubs. With that in mind he pulled his forces back together and moved towards his goal.

(3 days later)

Orbiting high above Frieza planet 7, Turles felt his heart beginning to race with excitement. They had come to him. His prey had finally come to him.

"Ginyu, take us down." Turles ordered a predatory grin on his face.

"My Lords unidentified ship incoming!" One of the sensor crewmen suddenly called out seconds before a meteor burned to life streaking straight towards the base.

"Men get ready!" Avo shouted as 1000 of his strongest fighters prepared to destroy whoever these rebels thought they were.

Finally the ship landed and all 1000 men promptly surrounded it. "In the name of Lords Avo and Cado we command you to show yourselves!" A commander called, eerily familiar to the demands of another commander in a faraway world.

The hatch door slowly opened, and 8 blurs came shooting out faster than any of the Planet Trade Elites could react too.

Before anyone could move they were the ones surrounded by the 4 members of the Ginyu force in addition to Pyros. The three Saiyans on the other hand stood facing Avo and Cado, who were now completely separated from their men.

"Only 8 of you?" Avo started.

"You're even more foolish than we thought." Cado finished the taunt.

Turles let his face relax into a confident smirk. "Gohan, Raditz, I'll let you two have the honor of warming these two up for me. Do not finish them though, only I am allowed to kill them." Turles ordered looking directly at Gohan as he said this.

"I understand sir." Gohan said, fully willing to obey this command. The only ones he didn't want to obey focused on Pyros, his number one enemy at the moment. He even got along with the Ginyu Force fine despite their history, simply because they hadn't directly harmed anyone he cared about yet.

Avo and Cado immediately reached for their scouters and were surprised as the numbers continued to grow well beyond the level of any Saiyan they had ever heard of before. Over 60,000 apiece.

"Impressive…" Avo started.

"For Monkeys like yourselves that is. But I assure you we are well above such pitiful levels." Cado finished as both began to power up to their maximums in a show of force.

The three Saiyans stood still and allowed them the time they needed. Behind them they could already hear the sounds of combat as Ginyu and the others engaged the grunts.

Turles sighed in disappointment, the rumors he had heard for each individual half of this being was not wrong, each was barely over 100,000. Barely enough to give Gohan and Raditz a warm up not the other way around. He could only hope the other half of the rumor, of their ability of fusion was also true.

"Is that it?" Raditz asked coolly, before nodding to Gohan.

Immediately both began to power up at a ridiculous rate. Avo and Cado froze with up within seconds as their scouters shattered as the two Saiyans rounded the 100,000 mark and continued upwards to an unknown limit.

Finally after what felt like forever it came to an end and both Saiyans dropped into their fighting stances, ready for Avo or Cado to make the first move.

The blue and red aliens looked at each other briefly before dashing forward intending to test whether their scouters were malfunctioning like they hoped they were.

Avo's fist collided with Gohan's forearm and came to a complete stop. With his other hand Gohan charged up a small blast and fired it into Avo's chest sending the blue alien flying back.

Cado on the other hand pierced right through the chest of Raditz's after-image, and was forced to hit the ground instead after Raditz's heel crashed back of his head.

Avo had just stopped his slide when Gohan appeared before him and started to unleashed his fury on him, in the opening three attacks he landed a blow to his right cheek, a punch to his left cheek and a kick to his chin sending the newly anointed galactic ruler sprawling.

Cado didn't get a chance to rise to his feet as Raditz grasped him by the back of his collar and tossed him into the air like a rag doll. A few hundred feet into the air Raditz appeared behind the still helpless fighter and delivered a powerful ax-handle to the square of his back. Sending the red fighter back into the surface.

Turles continued to watch the duel beat down and needless to say he was beyond disappointed. In addition to the lack of power, there didn't appear to be any real skill or style to how either of the would-be ruler's fought. They were simply glorified brutes, who happened to have a lot of power, at least compared to the run of the mill brute that is.

"Enough!" Turles shouted as Gohan and Raditz each stopped their latest, Gohan midair, his arm cocked back for an attack that would likely swell one of Avo's eyes shut. Raditz was about to complete a throw, Cado was awkwardly hanging from his back. Raditz immediately dropped him and both returned to their original positions besides Turles.

"You two, go ahead and fuse now, I hope you won't disappoint me." Turles ordered.

Avo and Cado were stunned, not only did the Saiyan know of their second stage, but he was telling them to use it.

"Fine, just don't regret it later." Cado said with a sinister smirk as the two quickly fused. A purple tornado of energy pouring out from around them. Revealing a larger even more brutish looking purple form. "I am Aka, prepare to meet your deaths Saiyans!"

Turles smirk of excitement said it all, he could feel his scouter begin to overheat in its effort to keep pace with Aka's sudden exponential rise in power.

Turles didn't waste any more time and rushed forward with a powerful right hook. The planet shook as Aka easily palmed the attack.

Time seemed to lurch forward for Turles as Aka's knee suddenly drove towards his gut. When it hit a sensation the Saiyan warrior had almost forgotten crashed through his body like a tidal wave, pain. The black-haired warrior felt one of his ribs crack with the attack.

Raditz and Gohan were momentarily shocked as blood sprayed from Turles' mouth and he dropped to his knees. A few coughs escaping his lips as he gasped for air.

"Hahaha! Lord Frieza always did say you monkeys were dumber than shit." Aka shouted as Gohan and Raditz slid into defensive stances.

"Did he really just take Turles out in one hit?" Gohan whispered suddenly very worried.

"It..It looks like it...but it makes...no sense." Raditz said as he pressed reset on his scouter for the 3rd time and still got a power level below Turles'.

"Don't...get...over...confident...you fat-ass purple...piece of shit...I was simply giving you a handicap...since you're just a simple brute…not a true warrior." Turles said slowly rising to his feet as he wiped the blood from his lip. "I...gave you one free shot...as a courtesy...I won't be giving you another." With that Turles purple aura ignited as his power exploded outwards in all directions.

"What?" Was all Aka could manage as his backup scouter shattered almost instantly.

"Now then…" Turles paused long enough to spit the last of the blood from his mouth. "Let's begin."

Aka barely had time to react as Turles' foot came swinging up at his face. A shock rocked his arm as he struggled to keep his own arm from hitting his own forehead.

Thinking quickly he tried to grab Turles' leg, but was just a fraction of a second too slow. He was left exposed as Turles' fist slammed into his face.

Aka spun backwards lashing out with his leg, just in time to land a blow to Turles' side, right under his arm. His leg immediately got caught in the Saiyans vice like grip though.

"Bad move." Turles smirked as he began to spin the large purple warrior around and launched him high in the air.

Aka stopped himself almost immediately, but was still forced on the defensive again as Turles pounded away at his defenses.

Slowly though his attack began to wind down without fully destroying Aka's defenses, the blood loss and the pain of his injury apparently taking its toll.

Aka took his chance and immediately went on the offensive, unleashing a strike at Turles cheek. The Saiyan staggered backwards, before he could recover though Aka managed to land another blow right on top of his broken rib.

More blood spilled out of Turles' mouth and with it a sense of fury. Immediately his aura burst forth, even larger than before.

Aka didn't even get a chance to move before Turles phased behind him, his arms already cocked back for an ax-handle.

He didn't manage to unleash it though as Aka lashed backwards with a donkey kick, and out of dumb luck managed to find home, right on the same injured rib he had already abused.

Turles gasped in agony his arms instinctively falling back to protect his injured rib. Allowing Aka the chance he needed to deal some real damage. Immediately he grasped the Saiyan's skull and launched them both towards the ground at full speed, only pulling up at the last possible second.

The entire planet shook under the force of the collision. A collision Aka was sure Turles would not be getting back up from.

As the debris cleared though Aka was proven wrong. Turles was wobbly on his feet, but standing none the less.

'...This is an issue...I think I gave him too much of a handicap.' Turles thought as he realized the tide of the battle had rapidly turned against him, turning his last chance at a real fight into one in which in he had two choices, continue and likely die, or cut the battle short and win.

With a resigned sigh Turles reached into his armor and pulled out a smashed piece of fruit, and began eating the smashed, yet still magical meal.

Aka continued to stare unsure what he was seeing. He knew Saiyans loved food but to decide to have a meal as your last action in life was too bizarre even for the rumors.

Turles felt the fruit work its magic immediately. His bone fused into place, his muscle and skin knitted back together.

"Time to end this!" Turles shouted up to Aka much to the latter's confusion.

In an instant Turles was on top of Aka, his fingers wrapping around his massive throat. "You know normally I would allow a fighter of your caliber to join my team. Unfortunately for you, you are worth more to me dead than alive." Turles, "Well that and there's no point adding any more mouths to feed. You did have the distinction of allowing me to feel pain one last time, for that I'm sure you'll live on as a minor footnote in history." Turles said with a sadistic grin.

Aka's eyes widened in terror as he struggle desperately for air. It all came to an end in an instant though as Turles ripped Aka's head clear from his body, and was promptly showered in his blood.

Slowly the new ruler of the galaxy turned to face his 8 warriors, behind them the bodies of the thousand elite warriors Avo and Cado brought with them as an army. With a victorious smile on his face "The key to the galaxy!" He shouted lifting Aka's head high into the air. The cheers of his men echoing across the planet.

(9 months after the defeat of King Cold)

Sweat dripped off Nappa's brow as he struggled to rise to his feet. Days had turned into weeks which had turned into months, yet he was still here. Hell in the time he'd been training the immortal dragon had even been summoned again wishing back the Namekian elder to get the second set of dragon balls reactivated. Nappa was starting to think he would need to steal one of the wishes to ascend, they had tried everything they could think of to force both Nappa and Trunks along towards their goal of becoming legends, but all had met with failure.

Their latest plan was by far the riskiest to date pushing both warriors to the brink of exhaustion and then putting them in a life or death situation provided courtesy of their own resident Super Saiyan. Even the slightest mistake on his end could prove fatal.

"Ready Nappa?" Goku asked his eyes that of a serious seasoned warrior instead of the relaxed side he usually showed.

"Bring...it...on!" Nappa shouted hoping his latest idea wouldn't be his last.

Goku took a deep breath and lifted into the air chanting the words of his ultimate attack. "Ka-me!...Ha-me…"

Nappa's eyes beginning to water from the brilliance, his body began to shake as rocks and other debris lifted off of the ground by the massive amount of energy being generated. Nappa cupped his hands mimicking Goku's stance and began generating as much power as he could muster

Time seemed to stand still for just a brief instant before two shouts echoed across the mountainside and the attacks were released.

The difference in size was staggering as Nappa's attack appeared to be a twig supporting a column, and quickly fell back towards its source.

In the brief instant his attack was falling back towards him Nappa focused on nothing but his need for more power, and his anger at his own weakness hoping the combination of the two would be powerful enough to break the wall keeping him from becoming a legend.

For the briefest of instances a warmth rushed through his body, sending a surge of hope that he was unlocking it. Those hopes were promptly dashed though as the blast made contact with his hands causing him to let out a howl of pure agony.

Goku was already in motion; after instant transmitting to Nappa's side Goku pushed against his own attack with all of his might, stopping the world shattering sphere before quickly reversing its direction back into space where it could detonate relatively safely.

Nappa collapsed to the ground, his hands severely burnt, unable to catch his breath.

Immediately Dende who had been on standby for the try rushed over and began to use his magic.

"What do you think? Did you get close?" Goku asked hopeful.

"No I didn't feel a thing." Nappa's voice revealed just how miserable that admittance made him.

"Oh well we can always try again." Goku said trying to keep the Saiyan General's hopes up. "But first let's give Trunks a turn."

"Yeah...sure...whatever." Nappa mumbled to himself, his frustration nearing his breaking point.

A few minutes later Trunks was in position. His body already at its exhaustion limit.

The same scene played out again with Goku charging his attack.

The second Trunks own attack collided with Goku's a sense of hopelessness hit the child. The instantly he fell into the same thought process he had against Cooler.

He felt the helplessness as the attack continued to close in on him. The light from his own attack filling his corneas took on a strange orangish glow the same hue as the one that swallowed his mother. His heart was beating out of his chest as fear of what he might see in the flames now filling his vision overwhelmed him. Mix in with it though was the color he hated the most, blue, blue was everywhere trying to bleed through the fiery color of his own attack.

It was then that his eyes widened in horror, he could see her being swallowed by the flames. It was happening again and there was nothing he could do to stop it. He could see Videl there too, her body mangled and broken from the Blue Monstrosity that stole everything he loved from him. He could hear the monster's laughter as it tried to squeeze the life out of him.

All he could do was scream, and push back with strength he didn't have. Every fiber of his body was burning as he unintentionally ignited his Kaioken in a desperate attempt for more power. All he could think about was saving them he needed to save them even if it killed him he had to save them.

Just as the blast was about to reach his hands he felt the change, something in him didn't just break it shattered. The amount of power pouring from his hands doubled; then tripled in an instant then too many times for him to hope to count. It was unlike anything he had ever felt before. His red aura instantly vaporized under the heat of his new golden one. With this new wave of power came something else though, as the world around him shifted back to that day.

A few hundred feet away Nappa couldn't believe his eyes his plan had worked, just not in the way he was hoping. Trunk's power was well beyond what he showed against Cooler, not only that but his hair had taken on the same golden quality Kakarot and Vegeta's always had. There was no doubt in Nappa's mind that the child had fully surpassed him now. There was a new Super Saiyan on Earth and it wasn't him.

Above the battlefield Goku was grinning ear to ear as Trunks continued to push back the sizable attack before finally sending it up into space with one last massive push.

"Great job Tr-" Goku started to say before realizing Trunks had disappeared.

Before Goku could even start looking for him his head was forcefully slammed by a child-sized foot.

Goku hit the ground like a missile creating a new crater in the already heavily pitted surface.

From the air Trunks unleashed a flurry of attacks down into the crater, his body running on pure primal instinct. His need to fight, to win, to punish those that hurt him pushing all rational thoughts aside. All he could see was that monster, the one he had to kill above all else.

Nappa self-pity quickly changed to shock as he realized Trunks was acting like a Saiyan child undergoing the Oozaru transformation for the first time. His eyes quickly fell the crater Kakarot had fallen into knowing his power would be necessary to get the child under control.

Seconds ticked by yet the waterfall of attacks continued to fill the crater before detonating. Goku's energy signal completely vanished the same instant the combo attack detonated.

Trunks didn't seem satisfied with the damage he'd done so far though and immediately locked eyes with Nappa.

All the Saiyan General could think was 'Shit.' Before Trunk's fist embedded itself in his stomach. His after image still staring at him nearly a thousand feet away.

To say Videl was excited was an understatement. As soon as Lime and Videl felt Trunk's energy spike they immediately knew what had happened. Finally she would get to see her friend as a Super Saiyan, unlike last time when she was left feeling like the only kid in school to not get told a secret.

As they approached the training ground though they could immediately tell something was wrong. Explosion after explosion shook the landscape.

"Are they training again already?" Videl asked as she and Lime both picked up speed.

"I don't sense Goku." Lime said suddenly worried about what they would find when they arrived at the training ground. One of the many fears she felt in the back of her mind bubbled to the front. 'Did the Androids come early?'

It seemed like Nappa was taking a hundred blows for everyone one he managed to accidentally block. He knew the boy was strong enough to kill him in an instant. He was toying with him trying to make him suffer.

Trunks finally found him, the blue monster that killed his whole world. He didn't know where he came from, or how he followed them into the past, but that didn't matter. This new power surging through his veins finally gave him the strength he lacked the last time.

He knew the first salvo of blasts wouldn't finish this beast, and true enough it appeared behind him in an instant. But his attacks appeared to have significantly weakened the beast. With every punch he slowed it down further. He wanted it to suffer for all the pain it caused those he loved.

Finally though Nappa could not even raise his arms in defense any longer and was sent flipping into the Earth with kick to the chin.

Lime and Videl's eyes were wide with shock at how badly Nappa had been beaten. Still neither moved to intervene assuming it was part of the strategy to make the Saiyan General join the ranks of the Super Saiyans.

Their assumption proved wrong when suddenly the other person watching the life and death struggle rushed forward to break it up.

"Trunks! Please stop!" Dende shouted positioning himself between Trunks and where Nappa hit the Earth. Hoping to talk some sense into the warrior from the future.

Trunks' eyes locked onto Dende before his lips twisted into a snarl. The blue monster just wouldn't stay down.

In an instant Trunks rushed forward ready to resume his attack

Dende didn't even have time to register Trunks was in motion before the out of control Saiyan was upon him.

Just as Trunk's fist was about to deal a potentially lethal blow to the guardian of the Earth, Nappa appeared seemingly out of nowhere and shoved the guardian into the ground, taking the blow himself right in the square of his back.

"Videl go to Capsule Corp and get Vegeta now!" Lime ordered realizing this wasn't training anymore. Trunks was having a meltdown of some sort one that could potentially be lethal, or might've already turned lethal depending on what happened to Goku.

Immediately after giving the order Lime shot straight at Trunks who was back to beating Nappa to a bloody pulp with a constant barrage of wild punches and kicks.

"Trunks!" She shouted in her best babysitter voice and reached to grab his ear trying to pull him from whatever mess was going on in his mind.

Her hand was intercepted mere inches from his ear. Before she had a chance to react Trunk's elbow dug itself into her stomach.

Spittle rained from her mouth and her eyes went blank, her body limp, before falling out of the air.

"I'm sorry Lime I won't let you deny me my revenge." Trunks snarled before getting back to the matter at hand. Destroying the monster once and for all.

Videl was still rooted to the spot, unable to move as like fell to the ground. She didn't understand why Trunks was doing this, it was horrible.

Nappa could barely keep himself afloat. He wasn't sure why but the child was as feral as a first time Oozaru transformation. He could still remember how out of control his son Omato was when he first transformed. If Nappa himself hadn't been there with him he wouldn't done a lot of unnecessary damage to the high-class planet they were clearing for sale.

It was almost laughable that he was going to get killed by a runt not even a quarter his age and until this morning was almost ten times weaker than himself.

Suddenly an idea hit Nappa quickly he created a moon-ball and tossed it high into the air. Hoping Trunks would give him the time he needed.

Just as he was about to launch it though Trunks beat him to the punch firing a feint-attack right at him.

All Nappa could do was lurch upwards and hope he was fast enough, not realizing he had unfurled his tail in anticipation of transforming.

A searing pain rushed through his body as his tail burnt away. Before he could mourn the loss of his limb though Trunks ax-handled him back into the Earth's surface.

Finally Nappa couldn't move anymore, he'd been completely and utterly beaten. He was going to die...again. His life began to flash before his eyes as Trunks charged up an attack above him.

He saw his happy moments and the days that hung heavy on his heart. The first time he lost a friend on a mission as a child, the day Frieza killed his son and wife along with his entire people. The day he lost his life the first time saving Vegeta, and a thousand other memories. Mixed with it was an overwhelming shame and being so methodically picked apart by a child having a tantrum. But even with all the anger and pain and need to survive he couldn't feel the mysterious spark inside of him Goku had described.

He was just going to die useless and brought back again sometime before the Androids arrived. It seemed like the best he could hope for was transforming during the fight like Lime said his future counterpart had. Likely too little too late. All he could do was await his fate.

The attack Trunks had charged up was massive. It should've been more than enough to finish the beast that haunted his dreams once and for all. The blue creature laying helplessly on the ground would finally be vanquished.

Just as he was about to launch it though two arms wrapped around him. "Trunks! Please stop!" Videl cried hugging her friend tightly. "I don't know what Mr. Nappa did to make you so angry but you've done enough haven't you?" Videl asked her voice shaky making it clear she was crying.

'Videl?' Trunks asked himself in his mind. Her voice sounded so young yet it was without a doubt Videl. 'Why is she crying? Nothing can make Videl cry.' A voice in his head argued confusing him even further.

While his mind tried to make sense of what was going on, a cold, wet sensation sent a jolt down his back as her tears soaked through his shirt.

Suddenly the traumatic-illusion Trunks had trapped himself in started to break apart.

One instant Trunks was looking at the monster that had wiped out his future, but as soon as he blinked the blue beast was replaced with the bloodied and broken form of Nappa, just like Videl had said.

"What? Where did-...How did-..." Trunks' attack dispersed. A horrible feeling of guilt was added to his confusion was Nappa continued to stare up at him blood streaming freely from over a dozen major injuries. Most notably a wound on his chest that actually had the shatter edge of a rib-bone sticking out.

"No...I didn't mean to…I thought…" Trunks couldn't form a coherent thought he was in shock. Quickly his golden aura faded and his hair fell back into its normal shape. His entire body began to shake as Dende rushed over to begin healing the dying Saiyan General.

Quickly his eyes shifted to Lime who was lying unconscious on the ground.

"Why...why didn't Goku stop me?" He finally whispered to no one in particular. As he searched for the Saiyan hero with all of his senses. Finally he started to cry too, and slowly float back towards the ground.

Videl just silently hung to her friend not knowing what to say, but she was relieved she had been able to stop him at least.

Suddenly Goku's power blared back to life as the Super Saiyan appeared in the middle of the training ground turned battlefield. A sheepish look on his face. "Well that didn't turn out like I thought it would."

After all of the injured were back on their feet all eyes were turned to Goku who was looking less comfortable by the minute under their combined glare.

"Well when Trunks attacked me like he did I jumped to Other World because I figured maybe fighting you would give Nappa the push he needed to go Super Saiyan since nothing else has worked so far. I didn't think it would affect everyone so much." Goku said nervously scratching the back of his head.

"Do you have any idea how reckless that was!" Lime shouted unable to contain herself. "What if one of Trunks' attacks actually killed someone!" She continued furious.

"Well I-" Goku started to try and explain his position further.

"I'm definitely telling Chi Chi about this!" Lime added with a huff knowing no more fitting executioner than Goku's own wife.

After several more minutes of Goku being chewed out the group slowly started disbanding. Going their own separate ways, except Dende who required Goku to return to the lookout in a timely manner.

"Dang I really messed up this time huh?" Goku muttered to himself. He'd have to find a way to make it up to everyone. Provided of course he survived Chi Chi's wrath this evening.

(Somewhere deep in the mountains)

There was no mistaking it the child was a Saiyan, not only that but his newly attained Super Saiyan status, complicated the ever increasingly precarious situation he found himself in. Even with his new partners help, and the extra precautions he was taking, he had already had to go back to the drawing board twice in the last year to accommodate the fast growing power levels of his enemies.

What made him the most nervous though was he lost his ability to keep track of the most powerful of the Earth fighters, Piccolo, who somehow mysteriously disappeared after a fight against the mystery warrior. 'There is no other choice, I cannot fail this time. I will have to improve them further.'

(3 days later)

It was clear now to Nappa he needed to reopen wounds decades old. He needed something with impact to force himself to have the emotional ammunition to go Super Saiyan.

He knew where to go but to get there he needed a ship, and at the moment he only knew of one. Getting control of it though was going to be nearly impossible though. Which is why he'd been hiding outside it since deciding.

Finally though he luck seemed to be looking up as Vegeta exited the ship drenched in sweat and a slight limp, slowly heading towards the main building.

As soon as the door closed and Vegeta was out of sight Nappa made his move. Rushing towards the ship as fast as possible without raising his power level. He let out a sigh of relief as soon as the door closed.

As soon as he entered the launch procedure into the ship he heard a voice call out from behind.

"So you've completed your mission?" Vegeta's voice had a dangerous edge to it. One Nappa hadn't heard since before the events on Namek.

"Uh...hey Vegeta…" Nappa responded a cold sweat breaking out over his whole body as he tried to think of a way to respond.

Before he could though Vegeta ignited his Super Saiyan aura.

"Wait, I think I know what I need to do to transform. I just need to borrow the ship for a little while." He quickly tried to explain before Vegeta's hands wrapped around his tree trunk sized neck.

"Find another ship." Vegeta ordered before throwing him out the door and straight thru the Capsule Corp wall. "This is your last warning, become a Super Saiyan or I'll send you to hell myself." With that the gravity chamber door slammed shut and the haggard Super Saiyan began training once more.

Nappa laid there for a moment. He heard the Brief family heading towards the room he was now sprawled out in. He couldn't care about that at the moment though as Vegeta's last words echoed in his head one time. "Send you to hell-"

Suddenly inspiration struck, as Nappa leaped into the air and launched himself out the hole. He had a plan, and if he understood Kakarot correctly, he knew just the Saiyan to help him accomplish it.

(A few hours later across the planet)

It seemed like Goku was finally out of the dog house with Chi Chi based on the fact his breakfast was finally back to normal sized. He seriously felt like he was starving to death the since yesterday.

Just as Goku exited his home he noticed Nappa leaning up against his wall.

"Kakarot, I figured out how you can repay me for your stunt yesterday." Nappa said with a confident grin.

Goku looked confused, allowing Nappa to continue. "First though I need to know. This otherworld you talk about is the afterlife right? And the King Kai you all talk to is some sort of bug shot over there right?"

"Yeah I guess King Kai is kinda important." Goku said scratching his cheek and trying to figure out where Nappa was going with all this.

"Good I need you to take me to him. I need to ask him a couple of questions before we go to our real destination." Nappa had a look of excitement on his face.

"Where?" Goku asked getting fired up himself.

"I need you to take me to hell."

Reviews:

Dragonmaster1296 - Good relieve chapter to get up too date with what is happen around the galaxy. I look forward to seeing how this frost demon civil war plays out. Its great to see turles taking advantage of all the strife that is happening with the planet trade even through he is still not ready to deal with the high ups in the planet trade and I feel sorry for turles since he attracted the intention of broly which I would not wish on anyone. I would love too see nappa go on a space odessy to achieve super saiyan. Looking forward too next chapter

Thanks for the review :). Things opened up quite nicely for Turles here. We probably won't be returning to Planet Frost for awhile though, too much else going on. Attracting Broly's attention is by far the worst move he could've made, especially since he looks like Goku. Hopefully you'll enjoys Nappa's trip.

RKF22 - Excellent enter Brolly

Yes the predator has spotted his prey.

Simgr101 - These are some interesting reviews. Turles is in for quite a shock. I feel once Cooler gets the chance, he's going to have quite the civil war to deal with as he reclaims his kingdom. Someone complaining over how weak gohan is? This is the fact that Gohan is forced into a different situations. What people fail to understand is that the saiyan power up which escapes me for its name at the moment makes a saiyan as strong as he needs to be. Not to stupidly power them up. frankly I feel like the super saiyan transformation that power up is tied to a saiyan's need.

Yeah Turles has no idea what is coming for him, if he did he'd leave the galaxy in a heartbeat lol. Cooler is going to be a very busy Frost Demon for awhile. Yeah since Gohan's life is completely different the rate his strength is growing is completely different based on the challenges he's been presented and the zenkai's he's received. I hope you like this chapter too :)

Luke - LOL...poor Turles when Broly shows up!

Yeah when and if Broly finds him he's day (life) is pretty much going to be ruined.

Jhotenko - I like how you show that Nappa has a keen mind despite his proclivity for losing his temper. It's a wonder more people can't figure out who Trunks parents are, but it sounds like it was fairly obvious to Nappa.

I'm not surprised that Broly can't tell the difference between Goku and Turles... Well, that's it for Turles, he's officially screwed now. Considering Broly's grasp on sanity, I'm all but certain that he won't accept anyone telling him that Turles isn't Kakarot.

This raises a new problem. Nobody is even close to being able to handle Broly's Legendary form yet.

At this point, it seems that it really doesn't matter which Frost Demon gains control. They're all hopelessly outclassed by so many fighters now. All they can really rule is their own wasteland of a planet.

Yeah the way I figured is that with Nappa being the Saiyan General he's got to be pretty smart. Plus he knows what the kids of two of the three Saiyans on Earth look like so by elimination he could figure it out.

Yes Turles doesn't even know the danger he is in at the moment, he is simply basking in his own glory. Yeah anything that looks even alittle bit Kakarot-ish is something that Broly wants to see die.

Yeah Broly would slaughter anyone without effort right now.

Yeah the Frost Demon's are outclassed right now especially since their best warriors have fallen by the way side.

Guest - WHAT!? This story is the shit, not only have you changed the dbz universe, but its like you revived it with a twist. I hate reading this is the only story I do read... unless you count dragon ball multiverse which is a comic not a novel.

Glad you are enjoying it! :) I misread your review the first time and thought you hated it lol. I hope the story continues to live up to your expectations so you continue to read it. Multiverse is one of my favorites as well ;).

wheathermangohanssj4 - Well that was an interesting well I don't want to call it filler...I'll call in conective...chapter. Pretty good not great but pretty good.

I kinda hope that it's just a rumor that Kizuri, or whatever Friza's kid is named, isn't really dead, I kinda hope to see a scene between him and Gohan, maybe before he gets back and or away from Turles. I can just sceen a sceen between them really turning Gohan around, because Friza's kid is supposable not even as strong as friza's first form in his final form So it could really be a great confrontation between the two when Gohan attacks him out of rage because he does look quite a bite like friza, minus the chesnut head, and Gohan ends up realising he's become the "Bully".

Connective chapter does sound like a pretty good description. Glad you enjoyed it though :)

Unfortunately he is dead, that would've been an interesting twist though. I have other plans for Gohan though.

docfrodo2 - Wonderful chapter. Enjoyed reading it. Can't wait for Cohan to kick more ass

Thanks for the review. Glad you enjoyed the chapter :) Gohan's got a lot of big fights coming up, he's got a bit of a gap to close after all.

super mystic gohan - yeah nice chapter you tied up some lose ends but wow so much more to do arhh this is great filler chapter I cant wait to see more and are we gonna see more off piccolo and cooler on the planted training ? this should be interesting with turles and the rest off the gang keep up the good work.

Glad you enjoyed the chapter. Tying up loose ends was the main purpose of the chapter so I'm glad I appear to have accomplished that well. Right now there should be 1 more chapter tying everything together, after that we're getting into the meat of the android saga. Yes Turles had his fun, now it is time for his reign to begin.

DBZ Fan - Yay another chapter! I love how you name the Chapter "Civil war " (reference the movie Captain America: Civil War)meaning something bad going to happen when cooler finds out his empire is at war.

Turles claims PTO like a ruler like he already owes it . I love it where this story going.
Broly: Kakarot!
Oh yeah especially since a certain duo saiyans are going to be involved especially our favorite legendary saiyan goes up against Turles. I wonder how will he
At same time I'm disappointed because i wanted Paragus to go follow his plan like he did in the movie(Broly-The Legendary Super saiyan )that movie was so badass! Especially with Future Trunks in it. Oh well keep up the good work. See yea next time!

Thanks for the review.

Yup it was a play on the movie name, I was hoping people would catch that. Whether something bad is going to happen I can't say yet.

I mean if you were in Turles position you'd know you owned the galaxy already too ;)

I'm alittle confused about this last paragraph one of your sentences seems cut off. "I wonder how will he". I think you'll enjoy where the Broly story is going to go.

Leo the zodiac (Chapter 11) - I feel sorry for gohan, but his spirit is awakened isn't it

Yeah Gohan is having a rough time, but it is shaping who he will need to be for this story. Hope you are still enjoying it :)

Gotenks Rules - I love this story! I hope it continues to Dragonball Super and Dragonball Mulitverse.

Dont not do DBGT its story line is not good, I was sad when they killed off Piccolo and i wasnt surprise when Super 17 killed Doctor Gero again and dont get me started on other things what was wrong with the show. I did like some villains of the show: Dr Myuu ,Baby because they were after Vegeta and the saiyans like Dr Raichi: Plan to eradicate the Super Saiyans. I hope they get involved in the story soon. I prefer DBM as Sequel to DBZ instead of GT .

I'm glad you are enjoying the story :) Thanks for the review. Hopefully you continue to enjoy it. This story is still less than half way done currently so there is alot of story left to go. Whether I will continue to the sequels of dragon ball z, currently I have a set ending before that. It could easily change before then, but at the moment I don't plan to go quite that far.

AineCPB - Wow! I've been reading this story for three days (I have work to do, but whenever I have a break, I can't help but read it). So I finally caught up to the last chapter. As you can tell, I'm hooked.

I don't normally review since my work takes most of my time and by reading fics, I get some sanity back. But I just gotta say I love your story! The way you've developed the characters is pretty awesome. I just don't get why some people make a fuss with the whole Gohan being away from home. Guess they're hard-core fans of his. I believe that this Gohan will end up being an amazing character towards the end since he won't be so overprotected by Chichi, something that cannon Gohan lacked and, c'mon, he's Goku's son and somehow got overshadowed in the anime. I feel this Gohan will be stronger and far more interesting than his counterpart.
The whole Nappa and Raditz being alive is also neat. I have to admit I never gave them too much thought, but I love how you've portrayed them so far. And I just can't help but like them.
About the whole grammar thing. I think that you're doing an amazing job. Yeah, there are some words out of place here and there, and typos and commas usage but it doesn't affect the content and the mental images your writing provides the reader. But what can I say? English isn't my mother language :P
So keep up the good work. Can't wait to read what happens next!

Wow it always amazes me how fast people can crank through the story lol. I'm glad you enjoy the story enough to review, hopefully everything will still be good enough that you keep reviewing ;).

I'm glad you enjoy the character development that is always one of the hardest parts of the story. I try to keep things as realistic as possible too so hopefully I can continue to keep everyone consistent.

I think Gohan will be an awesome character in the end too, but i'm biased being the writer lol. Hopefully he lives up to my expectations lol.

Nappa and Raditz are some of the pivotal characters in the story since their survival has lead to pretty much all the other changes in the story. Especially Raditz. Plus they are both interesting characters to write.

I'm glad the grammar is alright. It is my first language, grammar was never my specialty though lol. I hope you enjoyed this chapter as well :)

Gremlinite - (Chapter 29) - Was the candy the stolen wish or Ginyu's pride? I don't know, but I'm still loving it. So far, the Freiza vs Goku chapters were the slow point of the story for me. The worldbuilding bits all, however, excel. Fish Guy is from the race that Bardock slayed, Goku feels guilty, Cooler is evil but maybe 10% more principled than Freiza - I love these morsels.

The Freiza/Goku bit seemed a little cliche, like he "cackled evilly" quite a bit. I think you relied a little heavier on the feel from the show at those points. Now who this new Namekian is, I'm really interested! Just wanted to thank you for this story. I had to take a break because I was worried about Gohan lol, but the kid has spunk.

The candy was intended to be the stolen wish, but there is an argument to be made for Ginyu's pride as well ;). I'm glad you are still enjoying the story. The namek saga as a whole was my slow point writing as well, other than the first Goku vs Frieza fight that is. The world building is fun though the dbz universe is huge so there is always more that can be flushed out. Lots of characters that can be made or developed further, which was one of the driving forces behind the story to begin with, the under utilization of characters I liked.

(Chapter 31)

I swear this is a soap opera. Totally left field that Vegeta and Nappa are in space trying to rescue Gohan too. It's great. Also Turles is out and about. Very nice. The fight with the blue bovine fighter, Yubi, and everyone else was really well written. Thanks!

Hopefully it is a soap opera in a good way lol. Glad you enjoyed the Yubi fight it was one of the better ones I've had for Gohan so far. He's best chapters have yet to be written yet though so I'm pretty pumped about that.

(Chapter 38)

Piccolo has to train tomorrow. Classic dialogue. And Videl used water gun a few chapters back. The more things change... :) There are so many favorite moments in this story, I'm not sure I could capture them all.

On the other hand. Goku was one stop from Gohan. I am beyond distraught. I just want that familial catharsis! ;_; It doesn't even seem like Gohan and Raditz's training is a quarter as effective as anyone else's. Chichi might beat the tar out of Turles at full rage strength (I don't remember if you noted his power level recently, oops). Raditz ain't no Mister Piccolo... I can't help it if I want to see Goku rip somebody a new one over all this planet trade business. Like Majin Buu is a serious threat or whatever. Or that Bunny guy. But family catharsiiiiiis. Distraught Goku shall rip the universe asuuuunder! Nah, he was always kind of a negligent parent. (I can dream).

You're killing me Brelic.

Also thanks for your tireless dedication to this story. Sometimes word count inflates with wasted filler, not your story. Every bit counts. It's still rough in some places, a few spelling errors and tense jiggies, but your instincts are good. Just a tad more emphasis on the physical descriptions once in a while and you'd be golden.

Yeah I felt like Piccolo would hold training above pretty much everything else. Videl is slowly building herself up, she has a long ways to go though. I'm glad you love the story :)

Family catharsis, in a way, will come in due time.

No problem, I enjoy bring this world to life too and I love hearing feedback on the story too. I'll definitely try to focus more on the areas you pointed out. I do try my best but there is always room for improvement.

Welp that is it everyone, till next time :)
