Chapter 58: Man vs Machine (Part 2)

Above the battlefield a series of small space satellites cameras watch the constant exchanges, constantly sending back their disjointed images they could spot of the fighters' desperate struggle against the Androids.

Back in the capital, King Furry patted down his brow, and tried to resist the urge to start panting out of nervousness. The fight below did not seem to be going well from the bits and pieces he was actually able to even see.

"Trunks! Get out of there!" Bulma shouted as she noticed her future son struggling weakly the arms of the creepiest of the Androids below, the sensor in the building showing his power was rapidly dropping.

Tien and Chi Chi hit the ground hard enough to form a massive crater for each to lie in, neither able to rise right away.

The rest of the human fighters were too stunned to move for a moment, instantly they assumed it was one of the 3 missing Androids, 13 through 15. Unintentionally a few eyes turned to Lime, who was by far the most confused of the group. She had spent more hours than she could count memorizing the Androids looks, their personalities, their fight patterns. Everything about her life from the moment she was 9 years old was about one thing, learning everything she could about her enemies, so she could finally avenge her grandfather. There was no way she could've missed information about additional Androids, Videl certainly hadn't told her about any, she was there during the first disastrous fight even.

Finally Lime managed to get her mouth to work again, "I...I don't know this one...He's not one of the ones from the future." She managed, her mouth going dry. She couldn't get her mind to wrap around what she was seeing.

"Sit tight... and watch... your turn is... coming soon." The unknown Android managed to say in a raspy barely human tone.

"Like hell I'm going to sit here! Krillin! Lime! Get Trunks!" Yamcha shouted, he was tired of being considered too weak to be a threat, of being told to sit back and wait, of not being able to accomplish anything. Besides it didn't matter if Trunks wasn't his, he had come to terms with that over the last three years, yes he lost Bulma to the biggest jackass in the universe, but he couldn't let a kid die because he was braver than he was.

A red aura swelled around him and burst forth in a way that none of the other fighters present had ever seen before. Even Yamcha wasn't sure if it was going to work, since he had only ever tried this trick once before. His entire body was suddenly on fire, as he blinked out.

'Hold together!' He shouted in his head as the Kaioken times 40 strength threatened to rip him apart. He knew for sure he wouldn't have been able to hold a times 50 Kaioken, he sure as hell didn't want to turn himself into a human bomb again. But even if it was for the briefest of instants he was going to help Trunks.

The Android watched the bandit come at him, moving in slow motion, although the power he was displaying was well above the strength currently recorded in his records, it was more on par with the two humans he had just defeated.

At the very last second the Android blocked the ex-bandit's first blow. With an almost bored expression the Android twisted Yamcha around and just as Krillin started to slip past him, used the ex-bandit as a club to beat both warriors back into the ground.

Lime froze in her tracks, as the Android's eyes locked onto hers.

Suddenly Lime realized the Android had already phased out. In an instant an overwhelming sense of panic rushed over her, she had to react but she knew nothing of how this new Android would fight. 'Damn it!' She shouted in her head as her body instinctively raised an arm as if she was fighting Android 14, the android she had prepared for the most, the one who had stolen her Grandfather from her.

A massive shock wave rushed through her arm. Even with Kaioken protecting it her arm shattered in an instant, as her arm collided with her head. The world temporarily went black.

Lime had fallen about a dozen or so feet before she started to regain consciousness, suddenly her eyes flew open. A small Ki aura surrounding her, as she stopped her fall.

It only took a few seconds for her to realize what was happening again. 'Damn it...I screwed up and panicked just like Videl warned me I would.' Lime chastised herself thinking of how many EDF soldiers had died on their first mission because they tried to block instead of dodging.

Android 21 turned and faced the only human warrior to sustain one of his attacks, a look of pure surprise on his barely human like face. "Fine... try this!" The Android shouted, his voice barely human.

Without thinking Lime fired a blast above her and one in front of her. The blast collide with Android 21's face just as he phased into position above her. The blast she fired forward launched her body backwards, allowing her to gain a few feet of distance from the suddenly stunned Android.

Her face shifted to a grimace as she looked past the Android to Trunks, his life feeling as if it was nearly drained away. 'Hold on Trunks, I'll get you somehow!' She shouted inside her mind as she thought frantically about how she was going to keep that promise.

Nappa's fight against Android 13 was exactly the type of fight he was longing for. So far he appeared to be completely even with his adversary. Each time one take it up a notch the other would rise to match them.

Blow after blow were exchanged. Nappa landed a haymaker to the Trucker Android's chin. Only for the brutish warrior to take it in turn and deliver to a bone crushing blow to the Saiyan General's gut.

Already more than a dozen bruises and cuts were scattered across the giant's body.

On 13's there were multiple indentations where the metal skeleton supporting his body had been permanently warped by the hammer-like blows of his Saiyan adversary.

"You're not too bad, for a hunk of metal." Nappa finally said with a grin as he wiped some blood from the side of his mouth.

"I reckon you're better than I was expectin' too, for a monkey" Android 13 replied matching the Saiyan's grin. "You 'bout ready to get serious though?" He added as the air around him suddenly seemed alive with energy even if Nappa couldn't feel it directly.

"Ha! You're if you're going to break out the insults I'm guessing you're ready to get serious. I was wondering how long a bag of bolts like you would take to boot up." Nappa replied, before letting loose a shout; Super Saiyan aura grew brighter and brighter, the ground around them began to shake violently as he rose up near his maximum.

By the time he had finished powering up much of the debris around him had risen high into the air, and began to rain back down towards the battlefield

In a flash the two fighters were back at it. Nappa's fist colliding with 13's own fist with enough force to break windows miles away. Thousands were fleeing the city already, and the last blow was powerful enough to convince hundreds more that hunkering in place was not an option for survival. Nappa, had he been paying attention would've felt hundreds of lives vanish just from the shear sound of their fight alone.

The two paused for a moment taking in the full strength of their counterpart, smiles of pure anticipation on their faces as they hurried to continue things.

Android 13 broke off the engagement first as his free hand rush towards Nappa's stomach. The Saiyan warrior barely managed to catch the Android's wrist before he could make contact.

What he didn't expect though was the Android to unleash a powerful blast point blank range into his torso.

Nappa fell away, a fresh hole forming in his recently made, improved Saiyan armor, and a large scorch mark on his stomach.

"You sneaky-" The rest of Nappa's curse was cut off as 13 delivered a downwards elbow to the Saiyan General's head.

The blow was hard enough to knock the light out of Nappa's eyes.

The Saiyan General was left to fall limply to the ground, his moustache returning to its normal black color before he was even able to hit the ground.

Above him Android 13 crossed his arms in contempt. He couldn't help but notice that despite all of Nappa's improvements from the previous battle data he had observed. He was still nothing but an imperfect biological creature, with the same lack of focus and same faults he had observed in so many of those kinds of creatures. They truly were nothing more than vermin that he needed to exterminate. And once he finished off the Saiyan that job would be much easier.

Without waiting another moment he extended his arm and began charging the blast that would end the Saiyan General's life.

It was then that he was temporarily blinded, a massive flashed robbed him of his sight, and a shockwave nearly forced him backwards in the sky.

13 couldn't help but look out to the distance, as data streamed his way from 14 and 15 detailing the last few seconds of their own fight against Vegeta. A smirk crossed his face, everything was going exactly as planned; both Saiyans would be dead within a few minutes.

By the time the Android looked back to his own victim he noticed that Nappa was gone.

His eyes opened wide in shock just as Nappa's only word echoed through his mind "BASTARD!" fist to collide with his face hard enough that the joints holding his neck and head in place nearly broke loose

His face bent inwards and to the left as his body struggled to keep up. Although he managed to keep himself from rocketing away, 13 couldn't help but reach up to the place he had just been hit. His lower jaw was completely bent out of place now, and all of the artificial teeth, added for no reason other than the purely cosmetic taste of Dr. Gero, on his left side were completely shattered. If he had been biological, even as the type of hybrid that 17 and 18 were, talking would be completely impossible for him now. Luckily he didn't have that limitation, though the occasional electrical sparks coming from his partially unhinged jaw were slightly concerning. He would have to readjust his own estimate of the Saiyan's true strength again.

Across from him was the Saiyan who he had rendered conscious just moments before. A line of blood streaming from the top of his bald head, down across the bridge of his nose, on the side of his left eye and all the way down past his mouth. His eyes shone with what could only be described as the very definition of fury, both at his enemy and himself for nearly getting himself killed.

Nappa wasn't in a mood to talk anymore, his head was still pulsing with pain, had his guard been lowered any further the elbow would've likely been strong enough to split his skull wide open. As things stood right now there was no doubt in his mind that he had a serious concussion on his hands.

Vegeta's entire body was a blur of constant motion as he parried, dodged, and blocked a seemingly endless number of strikes from the two opposite sized Androids.

His fist meet Android 15's forearm, in the same instant as he blocked a kick from the massive Android 14's pale leg.

Vegeta let out a small growl of frustration. Although the two androids were not as frustrating as the perfectly timed duo he had faced in the past. Their ability to seemingly know what the other would do before they could do it, coupled with their apparent extensive knowledge of his own fighting style was more than cancelling out the distinct advantage in power he was displaying up until this point of the fight.

The trio broke their stalemate in unison, Vegeta trying desperately to turn the tables on the pair and finally go on the offensive, but constantly being stifled towards that goal by the perfectly timed attacks.

Finally his impatience got the better of him, he overextended on a punch as the small purple Android slipped backwards out of reach, just in time for Android 14 to kick upwards landing squarely on Vegeta's ribs.

Spittle rained from the Saiyan Prince's mouth as he was punted backwards.

Immediately Android 14 began firing a barrage of blasts at the Saiyan Prince.

Vegeta came to stop a few thousand feet away, just in time to see the wave of blasts aimed at him. A sense of Deja vu hit the Saiyan warrior was he realized the last few minutes had played out exactly how his first fight against Dr. Gero's Android had.

As if on cue he felt the air around him undergo distortion as the smaller of the two androids appeared behind him lashing out with a double legged kick intending to send the Saiyan Prince into the barrage like had happened nearly 5 years ago.

A smirk crossed his face as he moved to the right just in the knock of time grabbed the smaller android by the leg and hurled him towards his allies own attack.

Vegeta's victory was short lived though as his counter seemed to not only be no surprise but also seemed to be exactly as the two mechanical warriors were planning on. Android 15 allowed himself to be hurled at full strength before using his added speed and small body to fly directly through a small gap in the series of attacks.

In the meantime Vegeta suddenly became aware of the fact that the larger Android 14 had vanished from his spot opposite Vegeta.

The Saiyan Prince had no time to react this time as he was again kicked directly into the oncoming wall of small, dense, blasts.

A yell of pain echoed out as the first blasts detonated against the slightly off-guard Saiyan warrior.

On opposite ends of the battlefield the two Androids unleashed equally impressive barrage of attacks, exactly like how the first two Androids had years ago.

In the center Vegeta was struggling to keep back the two walls of energy, this time at much more extreme levels than before. Even a slight loss of focus at containing his protective shield of energy would spell his certain death.

Already he had pulled back the protective layer around him to the bare minimum distance, his armor and clothes were rapidly dissolving away under the shear amount of power being generated.

Around him the battlefield was alive with the energy generated by the two sided sphere with Vegeta in the middle. Dust all the way up to small rocks were being forced up high into the air as the excess energy wreaked havoc on the city turned debris filled plain.

Finally the two halves of the attack reached critical mass, detonating with enough force the level all that remained of west city.

Tens of thousands of frightened civilians vaporized in an instant as they tried desperately to flee the battle going on near the city center.

With their battle now resumed in earnest, Goku had decided to push completely up to his limits. He could sense several other fighters beginning to struggle around the battlefield. Trunks in particular had him worried as the boys power level was dropping at a level he had never felt before unless someone was dying.

His blows rained down on the scarfed Android, more and more of them finding their intended targets as he began to experiment with his fighting style, bringing in movements one would expect when fighting someone who was a master of the Crane or even the demon style, even going as far as to implement some of Yamcha's own unique style. The constantly adjusting style left the 17 very little time to think about how to respond.

A powerful downward kick managed to connect with 17's face driving the Android warrior down towards the ground.

As soon as he hit it, he wasted no time back flipping away from the crater he had just made. Narrowly dodging a small flurry of blasts into the crater.

Just as he looked back up to Goku he felt a disturbance in the air behind him. His face grimacing in anticipation of the incoming blow as Goku phased into existence behind him.

With 17 unable to turn fast enough Goku was able to land a double sided ax-hand to either side of his opponent's neck.

A strange gagging sound erupted from 17 as his entire body spasmed. Goku wasn't done yet and unleashed a series of powerful jabs into his back, finishing with a doubled handed palm strike reminiscent of Yamcha's wolf fang fist.

17 flew straight into a nearby rock face, face first. He laid there for a moment his entire face aching as he tried to push himself back up. Looking down he immediately noticed a small pool of blood forming.

17's fist tightened into a ball. 'That's enough playing around.' He decided as he continued to rise.

A strange blue reflection began to bounce off the rocks in front of him. 17's head wiped around a look of shock in his eyes as he locked eyes with Goku just in time for the later to shout "HA!"

A massive Kamehameha wave came barreling down at the stunned Android, before the entire mountain was wiped out in an instant. The resulting explosion shook the entire continent.

Cooler's entire body hurt, if he had been born into a more normal species he likely would've been dead already from blood loss alone. Luckily he was not. His arm though was for all intents and purposes ruined for the rest of the fight. The breaking of his face mask was another severely painful blow he had suffered to both his pride and his body. All of his previous pain was being compounded by beating he was currently taking from the blonde Android attacking him.

In a fraction of a second the Android's reflexes seemingly had doubled. The only point of reference he had on such an ability was the ability used to defeat him to begin with, the Kaioken.

It only added to his frustration that he had yet to be taught the technique. If he had, he had little doubt this Android would be nothing more than spare parts at this point.

In frustration he lashed out with his tail trying to get some distance from the 18, only for his attack to be caught in her iron like grip. Before Cooler could even try to free his appendage he was airborne, being spun around above her and then slammed back into the ground.

Standing over her battle-worn adversary she began to charge what would hopefully be the last attack, her Power Blitz.

"I was designed specifically to kill you Piccolo. I will not be beaten so easily." Android 16 announced as he approached the still shell shocked Namekian on the ground.

Piccolo snarled at 16 as the later continued to approach him, calm and methodically. As he stood over Piccolo he calmly bent down and grabbed his ejected arm before reattaching it to its proper location.

Next he picked up the still immobilized Namekian warrior, whose struggles were unable to free him from 16's immobile hands. In an instant he was slammed down into the Earth, the ground fracturing on all sides allowing for him to be buried deeply into the Earth.

"I will try to make this as painless as possible." He announced before hooking both of his arms under armpits and unhooking both hands.

"HELL'S FLASH!" A massive orange wall of energy cut down into the Earth following Piccolo, before ballooning up. Within a few seconds it was geysering out of a dozen locations in their general vicinity, before finally detonating with enough force to outdo Goku's Earthquake from just a few moments before.

Bulma could watch no longer, Trunks had dropped out of his Super Saiyan, his power reading was nearly gone as he hung limply in the sadistic Androids grip.

Without any further hesitation entered in the manual override code on the nearest satellite, and pushed its engine to its max.

A red streak cut through the sky, not noticeable to the many fighters trapped in the life and death struggles below.

Finally after almost a full minute of waiting it reached its target. 19 heard something cutting through the air at the very last second but was unable to prepare himself as the small satellite collided with the top of his forehead at a full 30,000mph. The force of the collision knocked the android backwards, its upper body bending in a very unnatural way under the sudden blow before falling to the ground, Trunks slipping from his grip.

19 lay on the ground for no more than a second before rolling back to his feet. Eyes scanning his surroundings trying to figure out where the attack had come from.

He could immediately tell the unexpected attack had done damage, he was receiving error messages about several of his logic systems becoming unresponsive. Something that was confirmed by the large crack running down his face, making the already creepy clown like Android the stuff of nightmares.

Immediately he decided the damage to his logic systems was not an issue. What was an issue was gathering more energy to satisfy his suddenly insatiable need. Calmly he began surveying the battlefield looking for his next victim.

Hey everyone I hope you are enjoying this late spring weather. Hopefully this wait wasn't quite as bad as the last few. I managed to get things done a whole week faster despite having a bunch of graduation insanity going on.

Thanks again for the review! Turles was definitely unaware of Frieza's full strength when believing he could defeat Frieza's full power, he thought that Frieza's first form was all he had. Ginyu knows of Frieza's transformations but he likely has no idea of their upper strength, nor would he know exactly how strong a Saiyan would be when they transform. In all likelihood it has, he probably thinks Taiga to be around Frieza's strength.

JOEL second review -

King Kai at least to me never seemed as observant as he was supposed to be. In the show he only paid attention when specifically asked to, or when there was a threat so powerful he couldn't help but notice it. His entire galaxy has been plunged into chaos with the actions of the Z fighters and Turles. There are now thousands of worlds rising up in rebellion against the planet trade. The capital of the galaxy for all intents and purposes has been destroyed and there have been almost constant threats on the same level as the frost demons appearing on Earth. Additionally for at least half of the 3 year gap he had the large group of dead human warriors who had battled the PTO forced Cold brought with him to Earth training on his planet. At least in my head canon of him this is the busiest he has been in his entire career.

I also feel like King Kai is a bit of a pessimist. He probably assumes finding someone as weak as Goku described Gohan to be, in a galaxy as big as his is an impossible task, and so definitely lower down on the importance totem pole. So if Gohan teamed up with a threat that was actually dangerous enough to get his attention after all the crazy stuff he's seen lately he might notice otherwise I don't think he would. Hopefully that is an ok answer, sorry if I rambled a bit.

Bulma should be capable of doing something like that, not sure it would work on the Cyborg styled Androids. The EMP would also have to be powerful enough to overwhelm the Androids themselves so would need to catch them with their guards down.

Bulma with her potential unlocked takes this contest easy.

I'm not sure if i'm including anything after Z so I'm probably not the right person to ask about the Beerus stuff. Sorry :(.

As far as Turles' role, right now it is more to help shape Gohan than anything else. He clearly isn't a positive role model after all. Sorry for the short answer but I'm not sure I can say much more without spoiling stuff. Thanks for the review again btw.

MATHEW - Kuriza is the son of Frieza.

1]Does Frieza care about his well being?
2]Is he as evil as Frieza?
3]Does he have the potential to become more powerful than Frieza?

Frieza probably at most cared about him as much as Cold did for any of his children. They are simply tools at his disposal for the short term, rivals attempting to usurp him in the mid term, and his legacy in the long term. Frieza received special treatment from Cold though being the apparent front runner in his game.

Kuriza at this point was little more than an annoying prick. It is possible he could've been powerful, how powerful he could've been will forever be a mystery now though.

JAYDEN 123 - Thank you for the review. I will consider adding them if I can figure out a way for those characters to fit in my final vision for the universe. Basically when I first started writing the story I had an idea on how I wanted it to end and how I wanted a few of the major arcs to play out. By doing it this way I gave myself plenty of leeway to come up with new interesting ideas as I went along and didn't pigeon hole myself too much in many of the major arcs. Several of them ended up looking drastically different than I first imagined them. Hopefully that gives you an insight into my thinking on the matter, I won't reject the idea outright but I have to come up with some way to reconcile it with what I already have planned, which could prove difficult.

This might not be a popular answer but I actually didn't think GT was terrible, some of the arcs had a definite dragon ball z feel to them, although other parts were down right butchered and the power scaling went downright berserk right off the bat (even compared to Z).

Ninan - Thank you :), Hercule should be able to take on members of the Ginyu force at this point without too much trouble. I haven't really thought to much about the power levels of the lower tiered characters in awhile. I can tell you that Videl has far surpassed him at this point. the strongest human would be a contest between Tien and Chi Chi like it has been for much of the story. Tien probably has the edge at this point, despite Chi Chi undergoing more rigorous training during the gap, because Chi Chi had to take so much time off raising her daughter.

Yoshi -

Yes Cooler has been staying in his 5th form almost exclusively since he began training with Piccolo and has for all intents and purposes mastered sustaining the form.

Piccolo and Cooler are well well below those 3. Piccolo with his times three was on the same scale as Semi-perfect cell i.e. alittle over 600-700 million. Cooler probably around 400,000,000.

Cooler has come to an uneasy understanding with Piccolo at least. He sees the Z fighters as business partners for their current venture, and the most likely threats he will face in the future to sustaining his reign.

It is quite possibly he is on Earth ;)

EXTRA 9 -

Thank you for the review! The galactic trade rules over between half and say 2/3rds of the galaxy. Any other large organized body in the galaxy has been long since wiped out by generation after generation of Frost Demons. So inside the galaxy there is nothing really left to challenge their authority. It is entirely possible other galaxies have similarly sized empires, with rulers just as strong.

1. If/when Future Cell would learn about their deaths I'd imagine he would be more than alittle irked at the development ;)

2. It's a good guess, but you'll have to wait and see for sure.

3. Not yet, the conditions haven't been met.

4. I'd imagine he has probably scouted it out ahead of time. I'm assuming he did that in the canon universe too.

5. Dr. Wheelo very likely could've been one of the last survivors on the world, he is rather isolated. As long as his base wasn't on 13's half of the world that is.

6. I cannot, it would ruin all the fun. Right now there are 3 choices any one of which would make for an amazing finale, but part of why I'm giving you so many choices to choose from means the anticipation can continue to build :)

7. The short version is King Cold has been Cepa's personal chew toy for the last year and a half.

Question:Other than Gravity training and the kaioken have you thought of any other ways to make the human z fighters stronger?

Glad you are enjoying the story! That is a problem I am starting to run into at this point of the story. They are clearly falling behind even though they are far ahead and much more relevant than their canon counter parts. I have a few ideas how to keep them relevant in specific circumstances though. So I'm going to try and do my best to keep them relevant since that was one of the goals I made when I set out on this fanfic.

I'd imagine the result would be similar to when Guru unlocked their potential. Nice piece of lore you brought up there, there is a chance that could be making an appearance in the future now so thank you!

You definitely deserve to be proud of that :) You made me smile at that enough that I had to move up the teaser for that fight several chapters.

The dragon's wishes seem to have a lot of power in that universe enough so that even the confines of hell can be breached.

An interesting prediction on how the rest of this part of the arc will play out, you will unfortunately have to wait a bit longer to see if you are right.

So Slug has always seemed arrogant to me, much like most dbz villains and a few heros as well. He like many of them seemed to think he had a mandate to rule, and failing to do so in the living word ruffled his feathers a bit. How I imagined his thought process going was when he felt the incredible rush of power hit him it overwhelmed his better judgement. Since he was already as powerful as Cold even after transforming before, he had to assume he was finally the most powerful creature in hell. And so would finally exercise his right to rule by beating all the Super Saiyans into submission.

In the past he was able to use the full times 20, after the initial fusion the maximum kaioken he could sustain was cut in half. And with the addition of a third soul into his own, abet one related to his, his maximum was cut again. We're talking about the fusion of multiple distinct beings coming together to make an entirely new one. 1 dark, and 2 light, although the light has for the most part one, it doesn't mean he is truly at peace yet. This is something that will take much longer than 3-4 years to overcome.

If Piccolo ever gets to 1/2 of Cepa's strength even with kaioken than Slug could in fact pass her.

Purely mechanical androids probably don't go to either heaven or hell based on what happened to Android 16 in the show. There isn't a limit to what they can absorb, only how fast they can absorb it.

Alright I will cave and give a small spoiler since I've hinted towards it in the story already, the individual who killed Cepa is dead.

It's entirely possible they could meet the Z fighters in some capacity.

Cold probably is the strongest, and with his transformation I have to assume he is. His species lives centuries, and grow stronger all throughout their lives. He was able to unthrone his predecessor who even if they had somehow passed their peak (super long living so slow to actually become elderly) who had done that before him and so on.

It depends on how rich the life was on the planet the fruit came from. Generally 1 fruit = +5000-10,000

They can die, they will only be revived though.

Ginyu's hatred stems from 2 events, being denied a role on the armoured squadron, and Cooler's invasive surgery trapping him in his current body.

To a degree Turles does respect his subordinates, as much as any DBZ villain actually does that is. Ginyu does respect Turles though, since he was going to help him kill Cooler, who has since mysteriously disappeared.

Glad you enjoyed the last chapter hope you did this one as well! Kuriza is low hanging fruit at this point. He was killed while still being a child for all intents and purposes. Although he was likely more powerful than fighters like Ginyu, he would hold little to no interest to Super Saiyans. Maybe if the Saiyan didn't transform to fight him they would try once but that's about it.

At this point Raditz would refuse to kill Gohan, both from the shaky bond they have formed and the promise he made to Shizen many chapters ago. He knows he is important to all of their survivals.

Cepa and the Saiyans have encountered the horrors many times over the centuries and have determined there is nothing for them to gain from such an encounter except pain. It's not a fight most of them would survive long enough to even get a hit in edgewise. The vast majority of the Saiyans in hell would be reduced to fodder and ashes within the open salvo.

So lowest is probably an exaggeration. They are the lowest of the denizens that aren't spending their eternal existance cowering in whatever small crack they can force their bodies into. if King Vegeta transformed to great ape form he would be a mid-level power in hell, powerful enough to keep the weaker rift-raff away but to weak to deal with any real threat.

Zarbon and company are in the same boat. They are stronger than the canon "Raditz's" of hell but are nothing but ants compared to everyone else, transformed Saiyans included.

It is strong enough to take a beating from the human warriors up to their higher kaioken levels and not much more. If a big time player went after him he would be dead within seconds. That's why he has so many android body guards to keep the major players busy.

Beerus101 - Suspense is kind of my thing ;) Glad you are enjoying the story though! the exact number I have written down for Cooler that will be posted at the end of this part of the arc is 425,000,000 so as strong or stronger than King Cold when he was on Earth.

God Goku -

Yes it is highly likely he will be regretting his life choices soon based on other character's past experiences. On the plus side he is as strong as Perfect Cell now! I mean that's got to count for something...right? ;)

17 and 18 have been compelled to follow along due to the remotes being held over their heads, in addition to Dr. Gero having more and more powerful guards than in the show. Their loyalty remains the same, to each other and themselves.

Thanks for the review. Q's 1 and 3 I can't answer because it would take the fun out of things. At this point I've hinted towards 3 or 4 possible characters filling this role and answering these question could whittle the possibilities down further.

The threat is comparable to Buu in terms of strength.

The conditions haven't been met for the character to appear on Earth in the future timeline.

Omni King -

So i think with this chapter you see they are more than alittle buffed from their cannon versions. Dr. Gero's tech had reached a power generation peak at the moment and so had to get creative in how he was going to address the Z fighters growing power. I remember reading somewhere that each Android had 2 infinet energy generators in them, I've placed 17 and 18's equivalent power levels for the canon ones anyway at 200-300 million. In this story they are both north of 300 base. In addition they have a few new tricks i.e. the Overdrive mode I introduced last chapter, which allows the Androids to basically mimic kaioken with similar drawbacks, and an increased number of Androids to keep the Z fighters off balance and outnumbered. More will appear on this in the story soon.

Not sure if you are reading all the reviews here or not but there was a similar question asked above, when I referenced warriors weaker than the Saiyans trying to hide in whatever crack they can force their bodies into, Red and Blue would definitely qualify.

The Ogres are too weak for the Saiyans to even really care about. As long as a Saiyan isn't in a bad mood they will probably leave them alone.

The 'modern' Saiyans didn't have a good time down in hell lots of their neighbors don't like Saiyans very much, but after the PTO big wigs started arriving their quality of life definitely took a hit.

Hell is a big place, anyone with a Ki sense would have massive power levels surrounding them in whatever direction they cared to look. It all basically blurs into background is the way I always imagined it.

Pikkon probably has tried his luck reigning in hell more than a few times. But the Saiyans are actually doing more good for him than bad. They make sure the condemned are punished and keep other potentially rebellious forces in line

Yes there will be plenty of Cepa in the future. She's had many lovers over the course of her existence.

Frieza is probably wishing he could be trapped in a nice safe cocoon surrounded by singing animals right now ;) Cold is probably just sulking at this point. Hoping Cepa gets bored of him soon.

Slug certainly know of the frost demons. Not sure if he has fought any face to face. Even at his peak he'd have a hard time surviving the encounter.

I think that is why many of the weaker 'dark souls' are little more than puffy clouds. Unable to be harmed by the more powerful monsters surrounding them.

Yeah I think at this point Nappa respects Goku. He probably wishes he was more Saiyan like but Nappa's going to get along with most fighters he'd ally with.

CS Trunks was much weaker than Canon Trunks when he first arrived. Currently he is more powerful.

Lime was probably on par with Trunks at the very least. Strong enough that she could make a serviceable training partner and babysitter.

He died at the hands of Android 14.

Cooler is currently alive

Cold is under Cepa's watchful eye.

Basically when she cranked it up to the next level he lost and lost badly.

He's kinda playing dead at this point, he's hoping Cepa gets bored of him soon.

Surpreme Kai is probably Perfect Cell levels.

You'll have to wait and see who is stronger.

Thanks for the review! I'm glad you enjoyed it enough to review! Cold unlocked the transformation while in hell. I've never figured out where he got them. The head canon I'm picturing is inside of some ancient temple or something, just for the dramatic flair.

He can try to use it, I don't think it would end well for him, though then again with Cell bad is also sometimes good depending on the way you look at it.

I'm sure they'd be able to replicate their styles. Moves might be difficult since they are using a different form of energy besides Ki.

They now have their own version of it as of last chapter :)

Abridged Broly's answer to how strong Cepa is "Pretty strong"

She's certainly in the top 5.

So when I first started I kept updates bi-monthly for about the first year and a half, then I tried every 3 weeks for awhile, 1 summer I managed to do a chapter a week for a good chunk of it and even a chapter every 5 days or so 1 Christmas break then I went through some busy patches where there were much longer gaps, such as basically this entire last year. So basically the short version of the answer is it varies depending on how busy I am. For about the last year I haven't had a set routine, just as soon as I can get a chapter done.

The Lord of the Pies - Thank you that reenactment made my chuckle pretty hard XD. Unfortunately yes you'll have to wait a bit before you get to see Slug's glorious self in battle! Gero being a genius but putting no thought into anything really bugged me in the show glad you appreciate the changes. :) thanks again for the review.

I'm glad you are enjoying the story. Hopefully I can give you a satisfactory answer. Most OC's I add come about either from a change in the where the story is taking place i.e. Captain Pyros, Shizen etc. Or As my attempt to fill a plot hole I noticed in the show. Whether this is the best way to do it, I guess it is up to the reader to decide. Captain Meditrain and his men appeared because of the difference in circumstances of the world, but those differences in the circumstance came about partly because i thought it was kinda dumb that no one figured they should let someone know that "Oh yeah my friend's alien brother's buddies might be coming back to kill everyone on planet Earth." You should at least give people a chance to prepare. Also I figured the military would have fairly strong fighters as well, I mean the red ribbon army did after all. The Saiyans in hell follow this same train of thought. All of the legends about the legendary super saiyan basically speak to how powerful a race the Saiyans were back on their homeworld. In addition one of the few parts I am sort of adopting from the Super/BoG is the line about how the Super Saiyan god was made in order to combat the bad Super Saiyans and to turn them away from their evil ways. While there is no guarantee i introduce a SSG, the idea that there were Saiyans strong enough to force the need of it's creation was something that I approved of, since it fit with the previous mentions of the Legendary Super saiyans. That's where the whole Powerful Saiyans in hell concept came from.

Which I love, I love getting to talk and interact with everyone even across the internet, it means the world to me that so many people are enjoying the story. I'm just trying to switch things up a bit so I can get the chapter out a bit faster.

One final general announcement to anyone who has managed to read all the way down here. I am considering tinkering with how I respond to reviews again just so everyone doesn't feel cheated because the review section is as long as the chapter itself. I have a few ideas on how I might be able to stream line things in the future. Feedback on any changes in the style are appreciated.
