Chapter 77: A Hasty Plan

Cepa just stared at the spot Nappa had been standing just an instant before growling to herself. "Just when he was getting to the fucking good part." One moment Nappa was answering her questions making her dream what it would be like to be alive again. To have fights that actually mattered, a real life or death struggle. The next his halo vanished, before she could say another word he was gone to who knows where.

Her hand tightened into a fist and then loosened again, her anger beginning to build. It was like someone was trying to play a prank on her. Like the Kai's had finally realized hell was a paradise for her people and set about making being stuck here actually feel like hell. For the first time in centuries she longed to be alive.

Without warning she slammed her fist on the side of her throne, shattering not only that but cracking the floor beneath it.

Her guards rushed into the room surprised at the outburst only to be met with her unyielding gaze. They backed out as quickly as possible.

Just as the door closed Cepa rose to her feet, she needed to hit something. "I suppose Cold will have to do for now. If worse comes to worse I'll send scouts out to look for Slug again." She muttered to herself before a new voice rose from her window.

"Ah so you're the usually large power level I sensed in this city." A somewhat refined voice called from the window.

As Cepa turned to face the foolish new arrival, she couldn't help a small smirk rise on the corners of her lips. He was exactly as Nappa had described Cell. "Well hello there. Yes, I am Cepa Queen of the Saiyans." She said smugly. "You wouldn't happen to be the warrior known as Cell, would you?" She asked barely able to keep the predatory tone from her voice.

Cell picked up on it anyway and after his initial shock wore off matched her smirk. "Why yes I am. I'm surprised that someplace as remote as this has heard of me already. I suppose you've heard about me from either Vegeta or Nappa then?"

"Yes, Nappa just vanished from here a few seconds ago." Cepa added. "I take it you're looking to blow off some steam from what I can only assume is your recent death? I'm sure coming to terms with the fact you're not the perfect warrior must be difficult." Cepa said adding the sharp barb from the little bit she knew of him.

Cell's smirk vanished instantly. "You're going to regret that."

In an instant Cepa's world turned white, the entire castle vanishing in a massive blinding explosion.

As Cell rose into the air, he saw hundreds, if not thousands of Saiyans transforming below him. It was honestly an amazing sight, so many of the most powerful warriors ever gathered in one place. Without waiting for any of his challenges to actually reach him he went to work wiping them all out.

King Kai looked nervously at his two uninvited guests who appeared to be sizing him up the instant Goku vanished.

Just as they started to make their way over towards him though something unexpected happened, both of their halos vanished.

It only took an instant for the two Saiyan warriors to feel the difference. With their power restored they looked to the blue deity with a predatory look in their eyes.

Before either could act though Goku had returned. "Alright, guys. First stop is the Earth." He said as he quickly grasped the two surprised warriors and vanished again.

'Wait first stop?' King Kai asked himself as he began to have a sinking feeling about what Goku had planned.

'None of this makes any sense.' Nappa thought to himself as he and Vegeta cut through the sky. 'How did they beat Cell? Did Kakarot find a transformation even stronger than Super Saiyan 2?' That didn't seem likely based on how powerful Cepa was. 'Could Cell have decided to spare us? He does have some Kakarot in him…somewhere' Nappa thought to himself, before immediately dismissing it. 'Though I doubt the Frieza and Cooler in him would allow that…' Then there was the mystery of why the Androids were wished back too. It seemed counterproductive to wish back former enemies...then again that seemed to be the Earth's M.O. He thought with a grin. This was a strange world, it seemed to gradually change anyone who spent too much time here, and not in a bad way it seemed. Letting out a sigh he decided he'd wait for Kakarot or one of the humans to explain exactly what happened at the end.

Just as he had resigned himself to waiting, Kakarot's power appeared, along with a couple of unfamiliar power levels. If they were trying to hide their energy these mystery fighters could potentially have been the reason they were able to win. Wordlessly Vegeta and Nappa both shifted their flight towards Kakarot's direction.

Cepa's eyes took a moment to adjust, coming back from the dead was always like this. Quickly she jumped to her feet, the battle was beginning to wind down in the sky above her. Cell seemed to be making quick work of her Super Saiyan army.

A thrill ran through her, from how lazily he was fighting against even some of her elites, a few who had even ascending to the second level, she could tell he was worth adding to her collection. As exciting as fighting the likes of Cold or Slug had been the last few years, Cell was finally someone she could fully cut loose on. If what Nappa had told her was true, he'd learn to counter her just as fast or faster than she could learn to fight him. In short it was time to see if Cell was her perfect match.

Focusing inwards she transformed straight into her second level and took flight straight at Cell.

The opening few minutes of his attack on the Saiyan capitol had been an all-out slaughter. A few of the Saiyans appeared to have unlocked the same power Nappa and Trunks had during their fight against Cell, but it didn't matter, he outclass them all by a wide margin.

Just as he finished vaporizing a small formation of Saiyans trying to pool their power into a massive attack he felt the single largest power he'd ever felt.

He barely had time to turn his head to face the new enormous power signature before a fist came crashing into his face. Without any time to brace himself Cell was launched across the surface like a meteor.

Goku had brought Raditz and Turles straight to the lookout. Just as Piccolo and Cooler were arriving. Bulma and Krillin having just left with Trunks unsure of when Goku would be returning.

"Goku you're back already…wait Raditz?" He said his eyes narrowing at the long haired Saiyan standing behind his longtime rival. He immediately noted they weren't alone either. "Who's this? He looks too old to be your son." Piccolo added.

Raditz thought about responding, but if this creature, he had so easily beaten before had undergone the same type of growth his brother had, it might be in their best interest to stay quiet for the moment.

"Hey Piccolo, Cooler...I need to ask you both a favor." Goku started.

Quickly he explained the situation.

"You want us to put our lives on the line fighting a monster you claim is even stronger than Cell?" Cooler asked incredulously. "You understand he just killed just about all of us, right?" He snarled.

"I know it is a lot to ask but-" Goku tried to explain.

"No Goku, it's too much to ask." Piccolo added. "This threat isn't currently coming after the Earth. Hell, it might not even be aware of us. It'd be best to wait for King Kai to gather whatever team he is preparing and us attack it together." Piccolo paused briefly looking Goku straight in the eyes. "Unless of course something changed during the battle against Cell. Do you have a new technique or something else you think could turn the tide? Or did you actually waste a wish that could've brought your son back just so you could be the one to rescue him yourself?" Piccolo asked his tone scathing. He and Goku had developed an almost friendship over the years, but he wouldn't allow Goku to pull the Earth into a senseless struggle they had a slim chance of surviving.

"Well not really…" Goku replied, flinching slightly at Piccolo's hard rebuke as he desperately tried to think of some counter argument he could make to convince Piccolo and Cooler to come with him. If this Broly character really was more powerful than Cell he would need everyone on board.

"Then how'd you win?" Vegeta voice cut in behind. He had caught the last bit of Piccolo's speech. "And what are they doing here?" Vegeta asked as he looked at Raditz and what appeared to be another relative of Kakarot's standing somewhat behind his greatest rival.

"Oh, hey Vegeta! Nappa! Perfect timing. I need your help you see-" Goku started his request again.

"Answer our questions first and then we'll consider whatever you're asking." Nappa cut in, beating Vegeta to the punch, which earned him a deadly glare from the Saiyan Prince.

Nappa though was completely unfazed, his attention solely on the earthborn Saiyan.

Raditz's eyes widened in shock, Nappa would've never acted so bold in front of Vegeta. 'What the hell happened after Namek?'

Seeing he wasn't going to get anywhere Goku quickly explained what had happened, from the point Piccolo died onwards. Vegeta's death, which earned another deadly glare from the Prince. Nappa's transformation, Nappa and Cooler's teamwork and ultimate failure, Goku's attempts to buy time from Krillin's plan, Trunks ascension and finally their final three-pronged attack that defeated the Bio-Android. He then went on to explain how he had come across Raditz and Turles, and what he knew of the threat that had apparently taken his son hostage.

The group sat quietly for a moment as they took it all in. Finally, Vegeta was the first to break the silence.

"Three times now...I've had my rightful place stolen from me three times…" He snarled, his anger forcing him to transform. "And now you claim there is yet another Saiyan out there that has surpassed me?"

Raditz and Turles each flinched as they were forced to confront yet another example showing how utterly weak they were compared to the bigger players the universe had to offer.

"Vegeta, look I know you're angry but don't you see this is as much your chance to prove your rightful place as it is mine to get my son back." Goku reasoned, surprising everyone with how well thought out his argument was. "You want to fight strong opponents just as much as I do, right? Well here is your chance come with me. We'll defeat Broly and get my son back." Goku replied confidence shining in his eyes.

Vegeta knew he was being manipulated by Kakarot, but his line of reasoning lined up to well with what Vegeta truly wanted. This would be another chance to prove he was worthy of the title of Prince of the Saiyans. To take his rightful place as their most powerful warrior, a title that was being robbed from him with increasing frequency despite a nearly endless training regime.

"Kakarot, that's not-" Nappa started to argue before being cut off by Vegeta.

"Shut it Nappa. I'm going, if you're too scared of this challenge you can resign your position of Saiyan General immediately. I will be the one to defeat this Broly and finally reclaim my rightful place." Vegeta replied his tone more dangerous than Nappa had heard in years. The wounds to his pride were beginning once again driving Vegeta in a reckless direction.

Nappa was silent for a moment before making his decision. "If you go, I'm going too." He finally decided.

Vegeta turned back to Goku with a look giving no doubt that they were going.

"Go ahead and fight your next challenge. This is where I get off this ride though." Cooler replied coldly. "I've fulfilled my end of the bargain and have received my payment. I have no further need to stay here. I have an empire to salvage." Cooler said. "Before I go through I'll give you this one concession. As long as you stay out of my way, I'll leave this world untouched." Cooler said, this time looking directly at Piccolo the one fighter he saw as a near equal.

"I can't do that." Piccolo said as he threw his cape and turban off without any hesitation. "We can't allow you to go back to your slaughter. You either stay here willingly or I make sure the Planet Trade is never a threat to the Earth again." Piccolo said.

"I just promised to leave this pitiful mudball alone." Cooler protested. "I leave this planet in peace and you won't get involved in needless fights. I thought that was just the stance you took against Goku."

"I won't go running into fights needlessly, but I won't let a threat get away when it is already here either. Until I'm sure you're done with your old ways I've got to keep my eye on you." Piccolo said resolutely. "Even if you keep your word now, who's to say that if you are allowed to go back to your old ways your eventual successor doesn't follow down the same path you were on. Only this time he doesn't feel the need to keep up with your agreements."

"So, you're going to punish me for the crimes of my heir who hasn't even been born yet might commit! This is outrageous!" Cooler shouted.

Entire lookout had their eyes locked on the two most powerful fighters on the planet as they continued to stare each other down. The tension thick enough that everyone was sure it was going to come to blows.

"What happens if you go off on your own and Broly finds you?" An unexpected voice cut in.

All eyes turned to Turles who had to this point been quiet. "Given your position as one of the rulers of the Planet Trade, I can imagine you're one of the stronger fighters here, but from what I've heard about this Cell monstrosity you were no match for him correct? The blue bug guy, King Kai or whatever said it himself. Broly is even stronger than Cell. If you can't beat Cell with a whole team helping you, what are you going to do when you and Broly eventually cross paths. Are you just going to hope us Saiyans figure out a way to deal with the problem ourselves?

Cooler looked just seconds away from sending the Saiyan newcomer straight back to hell.

"He's right Cooler. If we don't face this threat together then there is a chance you'll have to face him yourself someday." Goku jumped in. "If you come with us we can end this problem right here and now."

"And what if I do? You'll still insist on keeping me trapped on this planet." Cooler replied angrily.

"Look if you help us. And really prove that you've changed for the better and that you'll be a good ruler instead of a tyrant then I don't have a problem with you leaving. But you'd have to really show us that you've changed." Goku offered earning an immediate glare from Piccolo.

"Goku, you don't get to offer that." The Namekian cut in. "How is he going to prove he's changed? How can we trust that he isn't trying to trick us?" Piccolo shouted.

"You trusted me enough to teach me Kaioken." Cooler replied. He didn't know why but Piccolo's words had stung him. He had kept his word, yes, he might've been planning on resuming business as usual when he left. But to think that he had so little honor that he would've gone back on an agreement he had made was insulting. "I keep my word, hell I died fighting against Cell even when that wasn't part of our agreement." Cooler's glare gave no doubt how serious he was on the subject. That had always been a point he had stuck to in his transactions, and although he had thought of leaving at various times he would've kept his part of the contract at least by getting rid of the Androids...along with the planet.

Piccolo turned back to Cooler, each meeting the other's gaze for the moment. Sizing each other up and their will to actually take this argument to blows. "Then are you saying Goku's offer is actually something you'd accept?" Piccolo finally asked his tone somewhat calmer than it was before.

Cooler was silent for a moment weighing his options. "Since Broly would likely be a threat to me eventually even if I don't help now. I'd be willing to discuss teaming up against him. But it would have to be a situation where we have the advantage. I'm assuming this King Kai has some standing so if he knows how strong Cell was and thinks he can assemble a team of warriors capable of helping then I say we wait and move as a team." Cooler said, his tone also returning to one of a negotiation among equals. "As far as your conditions for leaving this rock, I haven't decided yet." He added somewhat to Piccolo's surprise.

"That's fine with me. We can discuss the other point later." Piccolo said still surprised that it hadn't come to blows. Turles' intervention had been expertly timed.

As Piccolo turned back to Goku to discuss the other matter he made sure to give Turles a slight nod in thanks.

"Now for the other matter. I think Cooler's decision settles things. We're not going after Broly right now. We wait for King Kai to assemble a team instead of running in there without knowing anything about our opponent. I'm not going to risk the Earth unless we know it's are best chance to win." He said slamming the door shut on further discussion.

"Fine then, this is a Saiyan matter anyway." Vegeta said. "Kakarot, we leave now."

"I was going to ask Trunks too." Goku said.

"No, the boy stays here. This is my fight." Vegeta replied with a dangerous look in his eyes.

"Fine." Goku looked over the team he had assembled, truth be told he had hoped Piccolo and Cooler would be coming too, but if things went south he was confident he could move most of the team away with instant transmission before things got too bad. "Let's go."

The all Saiyan team grouped up. After a brief discussion between Raditz and Turles about galactic directions they knew what direction they needed to go first, and the team vanished.

"Fools…" Piccolo muttered to himself.

They had only been fighting for a few minutes but both Cell and Cepa had been thoroughly bloodied. At the speeds they were moving the few minutes might've well been hours.

Both were panting heavily, but it was already clear which side held the advantage. Cepa had a proud smile as she held up Cell's severed arm.

The Bio-Android for his part focused on stopping the bleeding, needing to time his regeneration perfectly to have a chance of catching his opponent off-guard.

Every time he reached what he thought was the pinnacle of strength, a new challenger would arise and prove to him how wrong he was. Despite everything Cepa was still stronger than him. It wasn't an ocean of difference, it was one he could learn to overcome with time, but it was still shocking for someone who believed themselves to be perfect to realize they were on the verge of losing twice in a single day.

A smirk crossed Cell's face, even as shocking as it was his Saiyan side was roaring for more. Without any further delay Cell let out a yell, his aura surrounding him and his injuries healing.

Both fighters collided again in a blurred exchange of blows.

Trunks was flying full speed towards the ship he had felt Videl's power flared to life. Without thinking to suppress his strength he ripped the door off the fast-moving medevac jet copter and rushed inside to the surprise of the rescue crew inside. Quickly the pilot started to descend as the air was rushing out of the fast-moving vehicle.

A few of the personnel inside the rear compartment couldn't take so much unexpected chaos and fainted from the combination of the loss of air, the sudden revival of half a dozen corpses, and now a teenager ripping the door off their copter midflight.

Trunks couldn't focus on them though instead he be lined it straight to the somewhat startled Videl and embraced her in a tight hug.

Silently he held her for a moment, neither able to say anything for a moment before Videl felt tears beginning to drip onto her shoulder. "I'm so sorry." Trunks managed to sob. "I'm sorry, I should've kept you safe. I wanted to save you this time...I'm sorry." He continued

Videl just silently sat there her face bright red before she eventually calmed down and hugged him back. "It's ok...we won." She managed to say. As they rode the rest of the way back in silence, still holding onto each other.

In a matter of a few hours Broly and Gohan has arrived at their destination, the nearest inhabited world of any note.

As the surprised inhabitants, bright, orange, multiarmed arthropods, gathered around the surprising arrival in the middle of their city, Broly couldn't help but let a feral grin spread across his lips. It took every ounce of willpower in him to not start slaughtering them all on sight. First, he needed to get the child healed.

Gruffly he asked "Where is a medical center?"

The stunned aliens sat quietly for a moment as Broly began to get annoyed, a small blast forming in his free hand, Gohan's limp body hanging in his other.

As the gathered crowd began to scream and run away from Broly charging up an attack, one dumbfounded citizen mutely pointed in the direction of the nearest hospital hoping to stave of disaster.

He failed. The instant Broly registered which direction to go he unleashed his attack swallowing up the half of the city opposite of the direction of the hospital in a massive explosion.

Broly calmly made his way in the direction indicated looking for something that matched his idea of a hospital, occasionally firing a small blast at any fleeing survivors that happened to have the misfortune to catch his sight.

It had been a lazy day for Dr. Ijalanda so far. He had had his usual patients so far. A few random stabbing incidents from the bad part of town but nothing too unusual. The seemingly endless war between the planet's warlords had been in a nearly two-year ceasefire since the marriage between two of the more powerful clans forced the others to cease any sort of aggressive stances.

That all changed though when his entire office began to rumble. It was instantly clear it was a Ki based attack. But even the greatest of the warriors that had taken place in the past great war would be reluctant to attack so boldly fearing such an attack would result in the same sort of destruction being rained down upon their own homeland.

A cold shiver went down his spine as the fire wave of rescue operations made a rush for the door. Doubtlessly there would be many casualties.

The next few hectic minutes were spent gathering his team and preparing for the onrush of injured. Rumors and speculation continue to swirl all throughout their preparations and other explosions could be heard reverberating throughout the city.

"Damn Warlords...why couldn't they have let the peace continue…" He muttered to himself. Their exalted rulers in all of their wisdom always seemed to overlook the agony their squabbling caused the lower classes.

"Don't say that Dr. Ijalanda. You never know who's listening." Dr. Dalandha said quietly next to him.

Dr. Ijalanda gave a slight nod. It was true you could never be too careful with what could be considered treason if the wrong person heard.

Finally, the explosions, that had gradually been getting closer seemed to stop. Everyone held their collective breaths as they wondered if the fighting had come to an end already.

Finally, the hospital doors open, likely the first wave of victims, everyone braced themselves.

Instead of their own species, a large strange mammal walked through the doors bearing his teeth at them while carrying what appeared to be a smaller member of its species.

"Fix him." Broly said as he lifted Gohan's limp body towards the doctors.

It wasn't often that their world received outsiders, other than arms dealers and mercenaries, so the sight of these two outsiders was somewhat shocking. But being the upstanding facility, they were they immediately pushed pasted their reservations and prepared to help these strangers, especially since they were obviously in need of their help.

The larger alien had multiple lacerations across his body, multiple dark patches that were either burns or from leaking fluids trapped beneath their skin. The child looked much worse off, there wasn't a single inch of his body that didn't have a wound of some sort. His head was especially bad looking, a curiously examination looked as if the child's internal skeleton had suffered massive damage around his brain. The odds of survival didn't look good, especially since their biology appeared so distant from what they were used to. But they would still try their best.

"Can you give us some insights on how to best go about repairing this damage? We don't normally get patients of your biology." Dr. Dalandha said.

"Fix him I don't care how." Broly replied evenly, his patience beginning to run out.

"Please, tell us what happened to you two? You look like you've been through hell. If we know what happened we might be able to treat him better." Dr Ijalanda asked as he continued to examine the boy.

"I fought them..." Broly almost lost his control at the thought of crushing Kakarot's skull between his fingers. "I killed them, he was stronger than the others. He actually gave me a good fight. I want to fight him again so fix him." Broly explained, as he began to wonder what the creatures around him tasted like. He had been so focused on getting the child healed up he hadn't realized he was hungry.

The group of aliens around him fell silent as Broly's words washed over them. He had just admitted to beating the child half to death.

"Why'd you stop?" Broly asked. "Is he already dead?" His tone began to turn more dangerous.

"No... he's still alive. Here Dr. Dalandha is going to get him prepped for surgery right now." Dr Ijalanda said quickly taking command of the situation. "But I want to make sure, you and the child's fight was responsible for the explosions we were hearing a few minutes ago correct?" His pores began secreting a small amount of the toxic chemical that protected their ancestors from predators. It wasn't a response he could control, simply something his body did when it felt fear.

"No." Broly said a terrifying grin crossing his face, "I fought him on another world. Destroying the city was just for fun."

No one knew how to respond to such an admission again the room fell silent.

"I want him back in fighting shape as soon as possible. I'll come back soon, I'm going to have some more fun while I wait. Make sure he doesn't die or I'll make sure to eat you while you're still alive." Broly added as he turned and left the building.

"Dr Ijalanda, I'll start treating the alien...you contact the army and fill them in on what we learned." Dr. Dalandha said his body coated in a thick layer of toxic ooze.

Dr. Ijalanda just nodded, wondering what sort of terrors the obviously still young fighter had experienced against that animal, and more concerningly whether his disposition was the same.

He was immediately jarred from his thoughts though as the explosions began to sound around them again.

The planet was virtually sterilized in a matter of hours. While the doctors dutifully did their best to stabilize Gohan, their species was driven to the brink of extinction all without any hints to how drastically their lives had changed.

Outside the hospital Broly had finally stopped long enough to eat. He had gotten so caught up destroying everything in his sight he nearly forgot to eat.

Outside the hospital he had built himself a small fire and was eating one of his last kills. There was a strange taste to the meat. As he continued to take bite after bite, his vision began to blur.

Slowly after trying to shake it off several times, the large Saiyan warrior slumped to the side, pulled off into a dreamless slumber.

It had taken almost a full day of popping randomly throughout the galaxy from energy source to energy source for them to finally be close. Based on the maps they had picked up on the world they now waited on planet Torrapu was just one jump away. The problem was there was nothing for them to sense to jump there.

They had even tried searching in that general direction looking for any plants with elevated energies to no avail.

"What the problem Kakarot, you know the direction now just jump there." Vegeta replied irritated with the hold up.

"I can't Vegeta...I can't send anything that way." Goku said his voice tense revealing his own irritation at the hold up.

While Goku was focused on trying to locate anything that could even remotely resemble the power this Broly character possesses Turles slipped away with Raditz right behind him.

As soon as they were out of earshot Raditz asked "So what's the plan?"

"That's easy. We find a ship and get as far away from the others as possible. We'll become Super Saiyans ourselves and after they and that...monster sort themselves out we'll arrive and finish off the survivors." Turles explained confidently. Inside though it was a different matter. From the moment he awoke in Otherworld he couldn't stop replaying his slaughter at the hand of Broly over and over again. Nothing in the universe was going to take him anywhere near that monster again. At least not until he was strong enough to put Broly through the same humiliation dealt to him.

"Makes sense, but what about Gohan?" Raditz asked.

"Either we'll get him later or his father will rescue him now. Either way we need to focus on ourselves for the time being." Turles replied as he noticed a space port nearby. "Follow me." He ordered.

Raditz almost wanted to protest. He'd grown close to Gohan over the years. Maybe it was the fact he had been ordered to protect him or just the bond they had developed but he almost wanted to go with Goku and the others to save him...almost. There was part of him who was aware he had played his role. Gohan had become a Super Saiyan and Raditz had to die in the process for it to happen. When Shizen had said he'd know when he'd have to act, and know he did. His debt was paid, and even if he wanted to help Gohan defeat this threat to the universe as Shizen had called it. But at the moment he was useless, and he had no intention of dying again, not even for Gohan. He'd played his part, Kakarot and the others would have to take it from here.

Cutting through the crowd they came upon a small crowd gathered around a recently arrived ship.

"That's right, we were some of Lord Turles' elite soldiers. With the King's untimely end, we will be taking over this sector." A small blue alien declared, a large orange one stood behind him with a smug smirk on his face.

"Well isn't it our lucky day." Turles amused voice called out from the crowd. Immediately it parted allowing Raditz and Turles a clear path to the new comers.

The blue alien's mouth just hung limply in the air, before he quickly composed himself. "No that's impossible. Lord Turles was on the capitol as it exploded. There is no way he could've survived. You're just a fraud." He declared an angry finger pointing at Turles. "Samo get him!" As his orange companion started towards them.

Turles' smirk just grew wider as his opponent made his way towards him. Turles couldn't even remember these two among his underlings which only meant one thing, they were too weak.

Just as the large warrior got into arms reach his entire backside exploded outwards. No one present was even able to see Turles' arm move, besides Raditz of course.

In an instant the warrior dropped dead.

A shock silence fell over the crowd. As the Blue alien's eyes bulged in shock.

"Lord Turles...I'm...I'm...Please forgive me!" The creature wailed as it dropped into a low grovel.

"This ship of yours is pretty fast by the looks of it." Turles said completely ignoring the worthless groveling.

"Yes...yes sir, one of the fastest in the empire." He managed to say.

"Perfect, I'll be taking it now." He said as he nodded for Raditz to get in.

"What about me sire?" The creature wasn't sure how to act.

"You came to exert control over this sector did you not? Well take control. I'll contact you once I set up a new capital." Turles replied as the ship's door closed.

His last sight was the color draining from the alien's face as he realized his task was almost impossible with his muscle dead.

"How's it look? Everything ready to fly?" Turles asked eager to get as much distance as possible between them and this rock.

"Yeah should be good to go." Raditz replied from the pilot's seat.

"Good to hear." Vegeta's amused voice suddenly cut in from behind.

The color immediately drained from Turles and Raditz's faces as they noticed the Saiyan trio standing in the ship. Goku's hand still dropping from his forehead.

"Good thinking guys. A ship is just what we need to get there." Goku replied cheerily as he took a seat.

Nappa could barely contain his laughter at the obliviousness not only of Kakarot but the two low-class Saiyans who thought they had pulled a fast one on them. "See I told ya these weaklings would try and get out of it somehow." He said finally breaking down laughing.

"Well what are you waiting for?" Vegeta finally asked not bothering to take a seat.

Raditz face had briefly contorted in rage, it had been years since he had had to deal with Nappa and Vegeta's tormenting. Finally, though he turned back around this was a fight he couldn't win.

Turles on the other had couldn't take that insult laying down. "What did you say!" His rage exploded outwards, a wall of Ki shaking the entire ship.

Besides Raditz the Saiyans in the ship weren't terribly fazed by the display. "Sit down, low-class. You are weak, you're both so far behind us that killing you wouldn't even be worth the effort." Vegeta replied his tone turning cold, and his eyes flashing blue just for an instant to get his point across.

Turles grit his teeth, his Saiyan pride demanded his strike Vegeta for his insults, but he couldn't deny the truth, he was hopelessly outclassed by the three Saiyans in front of him. Any one of them could kill him without a second thought. Scenes of his fight against Broly flashed through his mind.

"Guys, come on just settle down." Goku said interceding. "They did find us a ship Vegeta, so let's cut them some slack." Goku reasoned as Vegeta grunted in irritation.

"Let's just get Gohan then head home. I'm sure you'll both be Super Saiyans in no time." He added hoping to calm both sides.

"Whatever…" Turles managed to say, before turning around and giving Raditz a nod to take off.

Instead of having their chance to escape, here they were taking a metal death-trap back to their executioner.

Hey everyone, I feel like I am saying this most chapters but I'm sorry it took so long. Grad schools been keeping me plenty busy. I had one weekend where I wrote most of it almost a month ago about haven't been able to touch it again until now.

So as I put in my profile this chapter was originally supposed to be about twice as long as it is now. I had to cut some scenes out entirely and I am planning on rolling the rest into next chapter.

RKF22 - Yeah he is going to get a bit of a boost from that.

Luke - Yeah there are definitely some drawbacks to Dr. Wheelo's plan. But he is also very confident in his intelligence, and has a nice plan in the works.

NotRob - Working with Broly will be yet another change he'll have to adjust for. but it's going to be nothing compared to the culture shock he'll soon experience or that he already has ;)

jj4life015 -Hey no problems, glad you enjoyed it! Yeah I've been excited for Dr. Wheelo to get into the game for awhile now :)

tarrangar - Hope you enjoyed the scenes that are in it of Cell vs Cepa. I had more planned originally but the chapter was just taking too long to write. You are exactly right that they are perfect for each other. They are exactly what the other was looking for in a lot of ways.

Roxas Legacy - They've stayed alive this long anyway. But I can't spoil all that yet.

super mystic gohan - Yeah Vegeta's not terribly happy at the moment. I haven't paid a ton of attention to the remake yet. He's going to be more like the original I believe.

DarkFalconZ - Yeah dying close enough to Gokus own death really helped them out. They definitely don't have any desire to tangle with Broly again as this chapter shows. So you'll have to wait and see if they try to weasel out of it again.

cyberas - All I'll say is this, there is a good reason I chose the name Culture Shock for the story ;)

Thomas-The-TMC - Yeah I enjoy their feedback. I'll have to check that story out sometime. It looks like it is a similar topic to mine so could be cool to see another angle on things beside my own and the story that inspired Culture Shock.

serus black antihumannature - Thank you!

Yeah Goku isn't going to let much get in his way right now. He's close to finding Gohan for the first time in years. That's a decent estimation, I can tell you that the moment so many people have been waiting for for so long is imminent we'll just have to see how the chapters break down as for how many more before it happens. I'm really glad you are enjoying it :)

Yeah so basically what it is, is that each form sort of caps out at a certain point until the next level is unlocked. So if you hit the limit for Ssj aka Fssj you can't really improve much from there until you unlock Ssj2. The base form would hit a cap as well so there is an overall cap until ssj2 is unlocked.

Yeah I try to keep things consistent, but I am glad people are looking out for potential inconsistencies. If something doesn't make sense I'd rather know then not.

I'll try to look back later to make sure on this but from what I remember from writing those chapter the second year of Nappa's training he was already pretty close to the limit for ssj1 already so he didn't get a ton out of the second year of training. Instead he was focusing on training Vegeta up. Also the reason Vegeta ended up somewhat stronger is because even though he was near the limit so the zenkai's start trailing off again, dying and coming back is a huge zenkai so even a limited version of it is pretty big. If that makes sense?

Yeah their bases should've gone up some, bit of an error on my part. The majority of their training was focused on either unlocking new forms or mastering the forms they had unlocked already so there shouldn't be a big increase in the base. Thanks for catching that though, I'll try to get it taken care of soon.

King Kai is working with a limited set of information when he is making that claim. He didn't see the end of the Cell fight where his power pretty much doubled. To him he can sort of see the magnitude of Broly's power and it is higher than Cell's was the last time he checked in.

That could be a strategy that works, but even Goku as self-sacrificing as he is probably doesn't want to go through that kind of agony again if he can avoid it.

Cepa has her throne because she is strongest normal Saiyan, she's not necessarily the strongest Saiyan though.

JOEL - Thank you!

Spirax570 - Thank you!

Silas - (Chapter 29) - Glad you are enjoying it the second time around!

Chapter 76 -

Glad you enjoyed it! Sorry I let you catch up. Been a busy couple of months. That's awesome! I'm really glad you are enjoying the story so much. Hopefully I can continue to write one you enjoy in the future :)

Yeah this is when things really start to get interesting for Gohan.

Not a huge spoiler by any means. Basically it was South Kai's 'new fighter' That he was showing off to North Kai and who then appeared completely outclassed by ssj Goku.

Good catch but not necessarily Paragus. It was Ginyu proper. Since their bodies are reflections of their souls it was Ginyu's real body. I sort of am assuming that his purple body is the one he sees as reflecting his true self the best.

EXTRA 9 - Glad you are enjoying it! He's a minimum of twice as strong. Probably pretty close to Majin Vegeta I guess. Same league at the very least.

JOEL - Glad you enjoyed them!

Yeah kind of destroyed their entire worldview. Especially Raditz who remembered how weak Goku used to be.

If I remember right I believe several dozen reached the level they are at now. A much smaller group actually reached the second level.

If she isn't fully transformed/powered up he could probably sense there is more strength hidden but not necessarily the extent of it.

Hell is a truely massive place, Nappa couldn't even really sense them until he had been flying around for hours. There is so many powerful fighters in every direction that it creates a sort of miasma of dark energy. To someone of Goku's level when he fell off snake way it would've been like trying to find a specific spotlight in a room built entirely out of spotlights.

Their introduction had been on the docket for awhile now. It ties in with where this arc is going.

Cibi - I know it was sort of a short fight between them but I hope you enjoyed it!

Science 9 - Thanks! Not scared more bored. She was with that group for awhile fighting them constantly, but not only was she half a peg below them but a fair number of them she considered little more than Brutes or strong animals, not really warriors.

Right now the pecking order is Horrors Cepa (small difference) Cell

MATHEW - Thank you!

Spirax570 -Thank you! I always assumed they were implying he was at a minimum above Super Perfect Cell. Since they had to channel strength from all the fighters to beat him. He is also constantly growing stronger, and his increase is faster without the controller on him.

King Kai isn't aware of Nappa going ssj2 and Broly in my story is even stronger than his cannon counter part. There were some scenes, hope you enjoyed those meant to be longer with them just didn't happen.

Bro 123 - Yes he will!

I've pictured Cepa pretty close to Majin Vegeta

I'm sure he is aware of some of them, but the universe is a huge place and there are monsters that have come from every galaxy.

Well I did set the stage for their possible experience before the Cell games ;)

That's an interesting idea, a double fusion dance. Might fit well with the other stuff I have planned. I will look into it. Thanks.

Rowen152 - thank you I plan on it. I just seem to always be juggling a lot of stuff

Josey554 - Sort of randomly. They just sort of do their on thing. Which usually involves slaughtering each other.

They might've tried. If they did it didn't end well for them.

I think he does to a certain extent. He believes they are among the strongest fighters he was going to find in the universe.

That sounds like a fun binge. I wish I could've been writing faster so it would've been a longer binge lol

Omni King - Thank you

Ben - Thank you!

Nick - She's at a point where she probably could if she met the emotional/stress requirements to transform again.

potentially up to the size of a galaxy of just endless barren wasteland. Large enough that from the entry point of every galaxy is far enough apart it takes a long time to usually run into beings from other galaxies down there.

Yes the horrors are from multiple galaxies.

At this point there definitely are others more powerful than them. The Universe is a huge, huge place after all.

Yes he did! He is in Wheelo's lab.

Yoshi - Sorry it took so long, grad school is keeping me busy.

No Buu is still stronger.

Bojack will appear before too long.

Cooler might still meet Cold/Frieza some day

I always pegged Broly as Super Perfect Cell level at a minimum. He's also a bit stronger than he was in canon and also constantly growing stronger.

Pro 10 - Thank you

SaiyanPrince541 (Chapter 52) - Glad you enjoyed it! Yeah he is sort of a bridge between them, kind of fitting as he is the oldest living Saiyan. Yeah the Frost Demons had reason to fear the Super Saiyans lol

Noelesy 154 - Thank you!

Arc238 -

Thank you! I don't believe so.

I can't answer the second one or the third.

In his timeline literally everyone on Earth is dead, he doesn't really have a home to return to.

She might've heard of them.

Soon, very soon.

Jimmy 45 - Welcome back! Glad you enjoyed it!

Goku00 (Chapter 6) - I'm assuming you are referring to Krillin and company? I was sort of lumping them in with the A team if so. The B team referred to Master Roshi's group. Anyway Krillin and company are somewhere between 400 and the power levels they had fighting against the Saiyans so 1500ish. On average I'd say 800-1000 if I remember right. It had been a very, very long time since I re-read those chapters though.

JOEL - Sorry for the wait!

Kay - Thank you for the review! You are my first non-english review so I will try to answer your question as best as possible.

I actually did not realize she was. I always assumed that Gohan just treated that year in the time chamber as not really counting and so he was a year older than his classmates. That's an oversight on my part. Good catch. I've sort of written myself into a corner on the age thing though, so I'll probably keep them the ages I have now going forward. I always read the reviews! I love hearing from people. I hope you continue to enjoy the story in the future!

- Thanks for the review! Glad you are enjoying the story! Thank you! Yeah chaging between them always feels a bit awkward on my part so I'm glad it coming out good in the end :)

Arc238 - Sorry I've been really busy. The last two weeks in particular have been insane
