Mobile Suit Gundam: reawakening of a legacy
Chapter 7. Joining the fleet, battle above the earth, falling down the gravity well
The Pegasus ship is seen still heading to the fleet that is near earth, inside the ship Shinji is being trained by Joshua and Yushai since he now pilots a mobile suit now.
Shinji: this training is very difficult…
Joshua: get used to it kid the enemy is not going to show you any mercy once they start attacking us again.
Shinji: …
Yushai: I know you don't like fighting Shinji and neither do I but we don't have much of a choice.
Joshua: but what got me curious along with captain Bright and Chifuyu is why was one of our own trying to obtain data on the Gundam … it does not make any sense.
Yushai: well there is a war going on and many organizations would want to create there own mobile suit that's just as powerful as it.
Shinji: but wouldn't that make things worse for everyone? I mean Zion has mobile suits already, so wouldn't every nation having there own would make things worse for everyone.
Joshua: it would in a way, but if you remember how the I.S got started this situation feel a bit similar to that event however we are in a war where our lives are on the line.
Yushai: you have a point there, and the I.S is to not be used in war because of the government but now I'm completely more confused, the I.S was supposed to be a space suit but it was seen as a failure by the nations until the nuclear missiles were sent at Japan and the I.S was turned into a weapon.
Shinji: that doesn't make any sense… why would the creator turn the I.S into a weapon?
Joshua: that's a good question and no one seems to know the reason why, perhaps… she believes war is the only way for anyone to accept her creation.
Shinji and Yushai: her?
Joshua: a woman who is the greatest genius in the world Tabane.
Yushai: Tabane.
On the bridge, both Bright and Chifuyu are seen talking to each other about what happened at the base they were in, including trying to figure why the commander wanted to obtain the data on the Gundam.
Bright: … why in the world would the commander of that base wants data on the Gundam? She should know we are in a war right now.
Chifuyu: … caption Bright.
Bright: ? Is there something wrong miss Omimura?
Chifuyu: I believe that we may have spies in the military.
Bright: spies? Why are they doing this? Are they scared of the mobile suits taking front stage instead of there I.S being used in the war? They should know that the United Nations forbid it not only that but this is a full on war, not a some kind of entertainment or trying to prove which machine is better, people's lives are on the line and that sort of mind set is an insult to there sacrifices and everything they fought for be it the federation or Zion!
Chifuyu: I understand that caption Bright, I'm just thinking that someone else might be plotting something behind the scenes of the war as goes on.
Bright: I too feel the same, I along with possibly many others hope this situation or others who are trying to make profit off of the war doesn't make things worse for us all.
Chifuyu nods to that and leave the bridge once she was by herself she punch the wall of the ship with frustration as she knows who is responsible for that situation in the base.
Chifuyu: … Tabane… what are you up to now?
(Scene Change)
The Zion fleet is seen near earth and has rendezvous with the other ships that was following the Pegasus ship, Blaze along with other Zion captains are seen having a meeting and is getting ready to begin there assault on the Federation fleet and destroy them along with the Pegasus ship.
Zion Captain: everything is almost set and ready to begin.
Blaze: … then it's time then… our solders told me that the Pegasus ship had one more mobile suit with them that we had over looked but this will not change plan in the slightest.
Zion Captain: Blake our men says that they have spotted the white ship along with the federation fleet also being spotted as well.
Blaze: then it is time for our attack to begin then, tell all troops to prepare for battle
Zion Captain: yes sir!
Back with the Pegasus ship that has meet up with the federation fleet and has received some supplies and the previous commander that was hurt badly was taken care of by the other federation captain so they get him help, they soon started heading to earth in order to reach the entry point in order to land to there destination, but just as they were about to enter the atmosphere Zion suddenly started attacking them.
(Project Wingman – Fire with Fire )
Federation Operator: Captain Bright! We're under attack by Zion's fleet!
Bright: what!? Since when did they get here?... they must've planned this for a while since we didn't see any sign of the Red Comet lately, get all of our pilots ready to launch immediately, also tell them to not to get caught up in the gravity pull!
Federation Operator: understood sir, all pilots get ready to launch!
The three boar there mobile suits all gets ready to launch out and face the enemy forces.
Joshua: Joshua in GM Command, taking off!
Joshua goes off first, then Shinji's mobile suit got on the catapult.
Shinji: uh Shinji in GM, going out!
Then he heads out, finally Yushai inside the Gundam steps on to the catapult.
Yushai: Yushai in Gundam, let's do ths!
The Gundam heads out and joined up with the two in order to protect the fleet and the Pegasus ship, Zion then sends out there own mobile suits and among them is Blaze in his mobile suit, the battle above the earth soon began.
Many ships fires at each other fighters flew out from the federation fleet in order to hold off the Zion forces but most of them gets shot down by the Zion mobile suits, then one of the Zaku's destroyed one of the federation ships which exploded, Yushai fires his rifle at one of the enemy mobile suits and destroyed it then another one, then he heads for one of Zion's ships and destroyed it as it explodes in Flames, then Blaze attacks Yushai.
Yushai: it's that red mobile suit!
Blaze: time to meet your end, Gundam!
The two clash blades against each other and exchange fires as they continue to fight, meanwhile with the Pegasus ship Bright is told by one of the federation fleet captain's to escape from the battlefield and head to earth, Bright wants to stay fight with them but he understands the situation though it pains him he has no other choice.
Bright: grrr… tell our mobile suit team to hurry back to the Pegasus immediately we are going to escape from the battle and head into earth!
(Gundam Unicorn – MAD-NUG)
Joshua and Shinji are seen taking down many of the enemy's forces until they receive the order to return to the ship now that most of the federation fleet was wiped out.
Shinji: we have to return to the ship?
Joshua: look around kid, many of our allies are gone we need to go ourselves, Yushai? Yushai!
Shinji: he's over still fighting against that red mobile suit.
Joshua: darn he's to far! All we can do is hope he can make it!
The two hurries back to Pegasus ship so they won't be caught up in the gravity pull, Yushai who have already received the message and tries to escape from Blaze but the Zion commander is making sure he doesn't escape thus the two continue to fight as they are about to be pulled down by gravity.
Yushai: dammit! I have to escape!
Blaze: this is it for! Disappear!
There battle continues until Yushai finally was able to damage Blaze's mobile suit by cutting its arm off but the red mobile suit kicked him down the gravity well, Bright see that Yushai is pushed to a different location he immediately tells the operator to head in the same direction the Gundam is heading.
Yushai: oh man I'm gonna burn up! Huh a cooling system?
Yushai activities the cooling system for the Gundam but he still continued to fall down but is not destroyed, Blaze who saw this didn't expect the Gundam to survive.
Blaze: so it continues to live… looks like the hunt continues on.
(Mobile suit Gundam Unicorn – Merry-go-round) Ending song
On earth a bunch of people in a city that is Japan sees a explosion up in the air among them is a teenage boy who saw what happened, but he's not the only others at the I.S Academy for young women saw it to, lastly a girl in a neighborhood also saw it.
Back with the Pegasus ship it is shown entering the atmosphere and is entering into earth, everyone inside the ship all hold on to dear life as the ship enter earth.
Outside of the ship the Gundam is seen still falling down the gravity well, Yushai whose inside the mobile suit sees he's being torn from space as the stars become more and more distant from him.
Back in space, Blaze was able to escape from the gravity well before he was pulled in however the Pegasus ship along with the Gundam has fallen into Zion territory, meaning he will have another chance at them.
The scene changes to the view of the Earth with the sun shining on it, showing blue planet and its glory.
Then everything fades to black.

Another Chapter done, I hope you all liked this Chapter and everything that happened in it, now we are leaving space and are entering earth in which many characters will be joining the crew, Tina, Ichika and his friends, Asuka, Misato and Rei, now on to the reviews.
To Gojira: to answer your questions, first during the clone wars so expect things to change, second the Lylat wars and finally the Xenoblade world, as for mass effect that is going to happen much earlier then you realize and yes Tabane is the antagonist of the entire trilogy but we know of other beings that are far worse then her, yeah Phantom task is going to lose a lot of people in this war expect Blaze to off most of them.
