AN: This chapter takes me a while to write. It was a bit of while to figure out. That was until School winter break. At least, let's enjoy this chapter shall we?

Chapter 12: Enemy strike back

Everyone was still surrounded by the Pandacons. They were shocked to see Pam and Captain James. Yet, they were even shocked to see a student working for them.

"How were the duo?" General Pam asked. Hopper came up to the commanders.

"Yeah, I gave them my medicine for pain," Hopper said, "like punching two bags of steaks."

"How did you even know where we were?" Luz asked Hopper.

"The campus kept us hidden," Dipper said.

"Oh, bother, I have my ways, buddy," Hopper said like he didn't care. The Pandacons chuckled a bit.

Then, Marcy noticed Hopper's height and what he said. She was pondering for a moment until it hit her.

"Wait a second, you're the evil pooh from the convention," Marcy said, "you're the mole for them?"

"Well, technically, I am, but not just a 'mole' per say," Hopper said.

"Now, do you and others have it?" General Pam asked, "the key and the crystal."

"Yeah, we got them," another voice said like he's brooklyn, emerging from the stairs from the lobby, revealing two other students, carrying the crystal and a circuit key. Their names were Duncan and Doctor Luican. Duncan wears a goggle with red lens and wears black gloves fingerless while Luican carried his blaster in his belt under his lab coat.

"It was hidden within the facility room," Luican said.

"While that metal box was empty as we scanned it before," Duncan said, "luckily we managed to find an energy signal from the crystal, thanks to the brilliant tech of these goggle, designed by me." The duo walk up to General Pam and Captain James and hand them the items.

"You love to scan with your goggle do you?" Luican asked, "like that fat doctor?"

"Your voices. You're the stormtrooper and-?!" Marcy theorized.

"Doctor Luican?" Anne asked as she was surprised. The doctor, who helped her after the fight, was a mole for the enemy she's fighting.

"Yep, that's me," Doctor Luican said.

"Falcon may be clever, but not clever enough," Hopper said, "it's like they didn't know us at first."

"Excellent, you three," Captain James said as he tapped his finger and brought it to his face as he's communicating like a radio, "Ajay, send our moles their payment. We have them now."

"Roger that, Cap," Ajay said through the com, "already send them." Captain James then lowered his hand down, ending the radio.

"You three had helped our noble cause," Captain James said, "and ye shall receive your payment." Pam and James signal their troopers to carry them.

"Noble?" Marco angrily shouted, "You kill many lives!"

"Because some people deserved to die," Pam said, "due to our master's history."

"You are all monsters, you know that?," Dipper protested.

"Well, that's a shame," Captain James said as he approached Dipper, "we may be monsters to you all. Yet, we see you as betrayers." He then punched Dipper in the face, causing him to fall to the ground with bruises. The Guardians were shocked.

"You bully!" Star shouted.

"Leave him alone!" Pacifica said like she's about to run towards Dipper, but was blocked by the troopers.

"Is that all you've got?" Dipper said as he groaned. James then signals his troopers to grab Dipper and lift him up. He turned to his moles.

"You three love to beat?" James asked.

"Don't need to ask us twice," Hopper jumps in, along with Duncan and Luican. They join with James.

"Be prepared brother," Duncan said. They begin to punch Dipper in his stomach, his head, ribs and all over that there was blood and bruises. They kept beating him up numerous times. The guardians were shocked to see this. Pacifica just watched him in pain. It was sad for her to see him get beaten. Sure, she always thought of teasing him years before, but this was hurting, even for her.

"Alrighty, boys at ease," Captain James ordered. The moles backed up, allowing space for Captain. Dipper barely moved his face, as he tried to give me a stare, but it was painful.

"You will die, pal," Dipper said, "I promise you."

"You got guts, Dipper," Captain James said as he pulled up his pistol towards him, "I'll give you that."

Just as Captain James was about to pull a trigger, one of the troopers, who held Dipper, got shot in the head and fell to the ground. Another trooper got shot and died, fully released Dipper to the ground. Pandacons looked up and saw Hector and Julian, holding their blasters, aimed towards them with reinforcement of 12 troopers.

"Freeze," Hector shouted towards the Pandacons. They were all in standoff with the guardians in the middle. They were all stay still. It lasted a moment before something occurred.

Duncan tapped his gloves, which turned it's laser vision like a flashlights and aim it towards The Falcons, blinded them temporarily. This gave James, Pam, the moles and a trooper, who still carried the items, to exit the stadium while The Guardians managed to get out and stand by with their weapons draw out. The Pandacons begin to shoot at the falcon and Guardians, only Luz and Amity formed a shield around them, blocking the shots. Hector and Julian managed to recover quickly.

"That was a dick move," Julian said.

"We have to get the items back! Let's go!" Hector said as he and Julian run to the side of the shield. "Luz, take them out," Hector shouted to Luz, who nodded in response. Luz and Amity deactivated their shield spell, giving the falcon troopers to armed and ready. By the time shield down, the Pandacon kept shooting while the Falcons and Guardians ducked and cover. They managed to shot back at the Pandacons, shot them in the heads, killing them. The guardians noticed there was bloods, but also there was purple oozes. They also saw half of the troopers were humans, but others were different.

"Are those robots?" Sasha asked.

"Why do the Pandacons have robots for soldiers?" Libby asked.

"I'm gonna help Hector," Luz said as she rushed out.

"Luz, wait," Amity said as she followed her. This allowed Star, Anne and Molly to go after Luz and Amity.

"Molly, where are you going?" Libby asked.

"I gotta help them," Molly said desperately, "to get the items back."

"We'll assist them," Anne shouted back as she exited out, with Star and Molly.

"Come on, we'll help Dipper," Marco said as he goes over to dipper, followed by Pacifica. They lifted Dipper up, carrying him.

"Are you okay, honeybun?" Pacifica asked as she was hoping he was still alive.

"I'm…i'm…okay," Dipper groaned.

Outside of the stadium, Pam and James, along with their moles and a trooper managed to get out of the campus as James looked at his wristband, a device with built in radio and buttons. It features map pinpot to his rendezvous location.

"Grab the scooters," Captain James said, "We might need more speed from them." They all got the scooters as they go east from the campus. They then were heading into the neighborhoods. Hector and Julian saw them gone out and used a golf cart to follow through with horsepower, pursuing them.

Luz, Amity, Molly, Star and Anne managed to find their two allies and Pandacons. Yet, they see them gone far.

"How are we gonna catch up with them?" Anne asked.

"Anybody want to fly?" Luz asked them as she and Amity summon their Pailsman, Stringbeans and ghost, as they formed as brooms. They hopped on their pailsman, with Luz on string-beans and Amity's on Ghost. Molly, Star and Anne were shocked to see.

"Do I?" Molly excitedly said as she hopped on Amity's while Anne hopped on Luz's.

"What about you, star?" Anne asked her.

"I'll catch up," Star said as she transformed into her butterfly form with her six yellow wings.

"Let's go!" Amity said as she and Luz begin to levitate to the sky, flying high. They saw the Pandacons riding through neighborhood with Hector pursuing them.

The chase led them to the open field, many for it's golf courses. It was Los Angeles County Club. They gone through the grass, water holes. Just as they're approaching to a building, The Dark Minder was waiting, along with the generals. Pam and James managed to arrived there, with their helps. They stand before the Dark minder as the trooper hand the items to their leader.

"The Key and the crystal's here as promised," Trooper said, "thanks to our moles."

The Dark Minder examined the items, which were real deal. He felt the crystal's power as he touch it. It was a moment DM felt a connection with the crystal as it was powering his blood with it's energy. It was like it was corrupting him. The moment had ended when he turned to his moles.

"You three have served well, boys," The Dark Minder said.

"Halt, in the name of the Falcons," Hector shouted as he and Julian pulled out their blasters towards them.

"Oh no, a commander and his nerdy geek," The Dark Minder said sarcastically.

"You're not gonna leave with those items," Hector said.

Then out of nowhere, a beam hit a Pandacon trooper, killed him. They looked up and saw Luz's small team. Star reverted back to her human form from butterfly as she aimed her wand towards The Pandacon, followed by Luz and Amity armed themselves with their pailsmans, and Molly and Anne stand behind them with their fists.

"You better listen to them, Dark minder," Star said, "or I'll blast with the power of my wand." There was a slient moment for a while until The Dark Minder speaks.

"Wait, wait a minute," The Dark Minder said, "didn't I kill your kind already?" This question had cast confusion and rage towards Star. She didn't know what he meant, but she had many possibilities through her head right now.

"my kind?" Star asked, "you encountered my people before?"

"Does this look familiar to you?" The Dark minder asked as he turned to his right, showing his trophies on his left shoulder. He had most of the symbols attached. Two symbols caught Star's eyes. She was horrified to see. She saw two symbols, a diamond-like shape and a planet with ring-like shape. She recognized them.

"It was you!" Star said, "you killed my mother! The beast you sent in!" Hector, Julian and Luz's small team were shocked to hear. "You're the reason our ancestors moved our original homeworld and killed our ancestor, !," Star continued, "and you're the reason my kingdom was devastated because of my mother! You'll pay for this murder!"

"Star, stay with us," Hector said.

"I'm gonna rip you apart," Star said.

"I love to see you try, but I have places to attend to," The Dark Minder said. He then roared out loud. It signal the Pandacon troopers, far by the brush from north side of the golf course, to fire at Hector and his friends. They managed to duck cover by hide in the bushes.

"Keep them occupied," The Dark Minder said. Moles nodded as the shootout ends as they're run up to the falcons and threw smoke bombs everywhere. This allowed The Dark Minder, along with General Pam and Captain James to vanished.

"What was that?" Molly asked.

"I got this," star said as she aimed her wand to cast a wind spell around the smoke, clearing it out. It was clear, but hector and Luz did not expected the next move. Hopper tackled Hector, hitting to the ground. Julian then vanished as well as he pursue The Pandacons. Duncan and Lucian threw out their blasters and approached the falcons. They begin to fire at Luz, who dodged with her pailsman to her right while Amity dashed through them, like a ninja.

The duo were surrounded by Luz and Amity as Anne, Star and Molly formed a circle around them.

"Give up now," Luz said.

"Yeah, there's five of us and two of you," Anne said.

Duncan and Lucian looked at each other and nodded.

"Count again, sweetheart," Duncan said. Duncan pulled up his wrist, which had a device attached ot it. He tapped it and there were holograms of him, multiplying himself, at least two dozens. Lucian tapped his chest, activated his nano holograms of himself. It formed another two dozens, only to be armed with iron fists. The holograms now surrounded Luz's small team. Luz, Amity, Molly and Star stared at Anne, coldly.

"I know, I'm a big mouth," Anne said.

"Let's have some fun, huh?" Lucian said as the holograms begin to charged towards Luz's team. The battle clashes as they were fighting in a war, with some holograms begin to fade out, thanks to Star's spell of wind. Some Luican's holograms managed to slam Molly, who stood her ground with her arms. The holograms were strong than pexpected.

Hector and Hopper engaged in their fight. Hopper jumped and lift his leg towards Hector, knocked him down to the ground. Hector got up by roll over just Hopper attempted to jumped and step on him. Hector got up and punched hopper by throw it under his jaws, like a boxing, super hard. Hopper took a hit as he crack his knuckles.

"Very good," Hopper said, "I'll give you credits." He then charged towards him as he swung his fist to Hector, who defended himself with his arms.

Further from the battle, The Pandacons were running to the public area, creative arts agency and AMC century City 15, etc. Julian wasn't far from behind.

"Sir, nerd's incoming six o'clock," General Pam said.

The Dark Minder looked around and saw him approaching. He turns and turn around as his left hand transformed into a blaster cannon, begin to shot at him. Julian dodged and hide behind a building nearby.

The shootout cause everyone around them to run away or to hide nearby, screaming. The Dark Minder continued to shoot at Julian while Pam and James and a trooper were approaching to the black van with his Truck.

"Give up now, nerd boy," The Dark Minder said as he saw some people around him.

"Never lad," Julian said as he attempted to pulled out his pockets, finding his blaster.

"Then, so be it," The Dark Minder said. He then aimed at the citizens and shot them, killed at least five of them.

Julian pulled out his blaster and aimed at him, shot a bullet to The dark Minder's mask, dent a bit. It cause him to groan a bit. He looked at Julian, who came out and sprinted towards him, tackled him to the ground. He pounded him so good, there were so few marks on DM. Julian was about to give a final push with his right fist until Dm grabbed his fist with his cannon, which changed into a grabber. He squeezed and twisted Julian's fist, caused him to scream in agony. DM then pushed him out to the ground as Julian hold his right fist.

The Dark Minder walk up to Julian. He step on his chest, hurting Julian.

As this happens, two Pandacon troopers, from the van, went up to the dead bodies and grabbed few items, (a cross, an American flag patch, Transgender symbol pin, a black fist-like symbol sticker, and a anime of Naruto pin), like they ripped it off. They then walk up to their leader as they hand it to him.

"Wonderful trophies," The Dark Minder said, "Feels like I have improved my collection within a week. Wouldn't you say?" He then welded each pins one by one.

"You're…you're…(groaned)…a monster," Julian said as he was still in pain.

"I sure am," The Dark Minder said, "but I have something for your commander." He raise his left hand, which changed into a sharp claw like a mechanical claw. "Considered this a warning gift," The Dark Minder said as he slashed Julian's face.

Back at the golf course, everyone were beaten. Every holograms of Duncan and Lucian were vanished, with only one each. Luz throw Anne, who raise her feet up, at Duncan, kicked him off his feet, deactivated his remaining hologram. Molly pulled up her glitters from her pocket and threw it at Lucian, who was surprised as he tried to get it off. Star and Amity then cast their spells together, combined with abomination and freeze, towards Lucian, frozen him stand as it the goo and ice froze his console, deactivated his remaining hologram.

"I guess that's all of the holograms," Luz said as she catching her breath.

Over with Hector and hopper, hector managed to overtake Hopper as he laid down, beaten. He slowly tried to get up until Hector step on his back.

"Not so tough, are you now?" Hector said as if it was over.

"Perhaps," Hopper said as he's catching his breath, "or perhaps not. You just need to see it. Some tough people fall, like Rachel." Hector was enraged to hear this, while others were shocked. Hector stared at Hopper with a face, fueled with rage with fire burning through his eyes.

Hector then raise his fist as he charged it to Hopper's face, punching him. He pounded and pounded and pounded until he see Hopper's face fill with blood spilled out. Luz saw this and was shocked to see. She goes over to Hector, blocked his fist with her pailsman from hurting Hopper. She stared at him, showing a face of a concern child in the middle of a fight between parents. Hector stared at her, only to realized of his action. He then moved his fist aside from her pailsman. They both then stare at Hopper's body.

Yet, Hopper's body barely move, His eyelid can slowly open, but closed it down, like a garage door. His hands twitched like a robot when it's nearly power down. After a moment, he was dead as blood spilled around his head.

"What have I done?" Hector said as he was shaken. After a moment, Molly walk up to him, giving him a touch on his shoulder.

"You did what you could," Molly said. As she was able to continue, the radio came in.

"Commander, can you read us?" A falcon trooper said through his radio. Hector grabbed his radio, which was slipped out during the fight.

"What is it?" Hector answered.

"You need to return to camp-" a falcon soldier said, only for the sound of…

PHEW! PHEW! PHEW!

There was a commotion in the background, through the radio and the soldier just…gone.

"Lieutenant, what's happening?" Hector asked as he hears…

AHHH! PHEW!

Then. After a moment, He hear something that the other radio was grabbed, something moving until he heard a voice.

"The master have gave you a warning," General Jermone speaks through the radio, "but since you interfered, you gave us no choice." The radio then cut off, like it was turned off.

After a moment of statics, they heard an explosion, not so far away. They all see smoke. It came from UCLA. They were concerned about it until Molly realized something.

"Oh no, Libby!" Molly said as she run towards a stolen campus cart and drove to the campus.

"Molly wait!"

The others then followed Molly, although Luz and Amity used their pailsman to levitate with Anne hopped on Amity's and Star hopped on Luz's. They all went while Hector hopped onto a scooter. He rolled back to where he came in til he stop when he reach five feet.

In his mind, he pondered from The Dark minder's statement. He thought The Pandacon had stolen the other items. What do they want now? He pondered until he realized something.

"Julian!" Hector said as he turn to the direction where Julian originally left.

The others made it back to the campus as Molly got out of the cart while Anne and star hopped off as Luz and amity grabbed their pailsmans. She see the flames coming from a vehicle. It was just a vehicle, it was his DB-17. It was lifted in flames like it was burning inside and out. It was close to the stadium.

Molly ran up to the stadium as she hoped Libby was hurt. She came by to the stadium and saw Libby and the others, who stayed put, managed to escaped but received some bruise like they were beaten a bit. Molly slowly run up to her, scared and worried and so are the others.

"Libby! Are you okay?" Molly worriedly said.

"yeah, I'm okay." Libby replied.

"What happened here?" Anne asked.

"After you guys went," Sasha answered, "we were giving Dipper the help he needs. We call the campus security to take our friend for his bruises. Then, those Pandacons came by unexpectedly. Grime started to fight by throwing a punch and they hurt us,"

"They did said that we ignored their warning," Libby added in, "and they threatened to shot us, even me." Molly was horrified to hear. The Pandacons were gonna kill her best friend/crush? "Next thing, one of their generals told us that once they finish their machine, they'll hunt us down and kill us," Libby added, "and so they threw a grenade at the bus and it blew up. Next thing, they're gone."

"I can't believe they do this," Molly sadly said as tears were coming out of her eyes, "I shouldn't have…I could've…maybe if-"

"You did what you could," Libby said. Molly hugged her as she was crying. Libby hugged her back, and smiles.

As Luz looked around, she sees chaos, DB's in ruins with flames, her friends being beaten, many students run in fear. She viewed this as she felt this moment before. She was lost in her mind, it's almost like images from her past had came back for her, such as Ed's being taken away, Belos' announcement of the upcoming unity, and her friends sent to her homeworld by King. She was deep inside until Amity padded her shoulder.

"You didn't mean for this," Amity said, "it was the Pandacon's trick." They both begin to look around the campus. At least for a moment in despair, until Luz realized something.

"wait," Luz said, "where's Hector and Julian?"

Over at center area, Hector made there, only to see police portal in the area, with yellow tapes marked around, and few corpses bags for dead bodies. There were four police cars with eight officers, surrounding while FBI Truck was there, aiding with forensic team to examine the crime scene. Hector looked around and saw Julian being taken in into an ambulance van.

"Julian!" Hector said as he rushed over there. He was then stopped by an officer.

"This is a crime scene son," an officer said.

"I'm Commander Hector of the falcons," Hector said as he pulled out his badge to the officer. The officer instantly released him. "What happened?" Hector asked.

"There was a standout between the Pandacon and a scientist of yours." An officer stated, "he'll be taken to a nearby hospital for treatment."

"I want to see him," Hector said.

"Go over there," the officer said as hector rushed towards the ambulance. The officer notified the officers to allow Hector by wave his hand, gesturing to let him go. Hector walks to Julian, who had his right side of his face covered in wraps. There were bleeding behind it. His chest were also covered in wraps across, and another bleeding behind. His dislocated hand were rest on his chest.

"Commander," Julian said as he was in pain.

"What happened?" Hector asked.

"Well, I follow the Dark Minder here," Julian said, "as usual,…there was a shootout, I was…gunned down. He did manage…to kill off…a few people and…I fought him, dent his mask. Yet, he held…the upper hand, broke my hand. He mention…he want to leave something…for you and then…slashed my face and chest. He even pulled…my eye out."

"My god," Hector said as he feels a guilt in his heart, "I'm sorry to send you out there."

"At least…I've tried," Julian said.

"rest now, my friend," Hector said before the ambulance took as Hector was escorted out. Standing in the middle of the road as the ambulance drove further from him. He stared at the further vehicle until…

"Commander Hector?" A voice said, not too far.

Hector heard his name called out. He turned around and saw two forensic experts walk up to him, holding an envelope.

"Yes, I'm commander Hector," Hector replied.

"This envelope was next to your friend," one of the forensic expert said, "maybe it's something you might know." He handed the envelope to Hector. He gently grabbed it and opened it up. He reads it. His face show an expression of horrified parent.

AN:For this, the title was an inspiration for Star Wars The Empire Strikes Back to serve for this chapter, but a bit more to this. The holograms of Duncan and Lucian were inspired by Chester V from Cloudy 2. I also added in some twists in, like the mole's revealed. Some of them were foreshadowed from the start. You just need to spot some clues.

Julian's injury was based from Sonic the Hedgehog 3, but I ain't say whose. Another inspiration was from Avengers during Thanos' fight with hector nearly killed Hopper with Luz attempt to calm him down. I thought it would give this moment a realization of Hector's action, parallel to Quil and Tony, yet more dark with Hopper was being dead after a moment.
