Hi guys! Um… this story takes places after Behind the Scenes (check it out!) and hope you enjoy the story! (One of my first times writing it independently without the use of ChatGPT for help :D)
Chapter 1
After Alvin and Brittany had recovered from their illnesses, they were visibly closer, but they still tried to hide it. Their bickering was still a daily occurrence, but there's a visual attempt of a slight hint of lust between them.
"Come on, Alvin! Admit you like Brittany already!" Simon whines, nudging Alvin's shoulder, his blush easily noticeable at Brittany's name.
"I don't, Simon! I told you, we are just best friends, as always." Alvin replies simply, trying to hide the crack in his voice.
"You know, Alvin, we do catch you staring into her eyes as if you're being transported into another world, and it is easier to confess your feelings than to hide them." Theodore advised.
"You find everything about Brittany attractive anyway, from her bra to her stripes to her tail to her smile to her hair… do I have to continue?" Simon smirked.
"Yeah right, says the one who clearly have a crush on Jeanette!" Alvin fires back, and is now the one smirking back at Simon whose cheeks had turned a crimson red. Theodore just giggled which earned glares from the both of them.
"I'll just… be over there…" Theodore backs away awkwardly and hurriedly runs off to the kitchen.
"Ok Alvin we all know how much you like Brittany, and I'll give you the power of the brotherly bond to uphold the secret, but how about this deal, Alvin, if you confess your feelings to Brittany, I'll do the same to Jeanette?"
"Deal! But don't blame me if Mr. Romantic over here manages to awe Brit over way more that you have to find a way to impress Jeanette Mr. Nerdy Pants." Alvin taunts and they shook hands before they continued their day.
That's all but I think I'll stick to short chapters. They're easier to write anyway.
