They are chatting outside my room. Sounds really serious…
But I don't think it's about me
Even that doctor doesn't talk to me much now, maybe he's concerned about upsetting me and affecting my health. Honestly, I feel relieved because I don't really like him.
P.S. I found out by chance that there's going to be a visitor for me.
I hope it's Claudia.
Hearing boots clomping outside the room Andy stopped reading. The boots stopped by the door. He switched off the light and closed the diary. The handle turned. The door creaked open.
"Who's there?" asked Mr. Wolf.
Andy was panicking.
"Better to reveal yourself now child." added Mr. Wolf.
"It's Andy Morgan sir." confessed Andy as a flashlight shone in his eyes.
"Sensible of you to return. Not so sensible to run away however…and twice at that." growled Mr. Wolf.
"No sir."
"Perhaps, given the circumstances of the past few days we could be lenient…we will not send you to the naughty rooms today. But you are a Wish House child now and you must behave as such."
"Yes sir."
"Strange that I should find you down here Andrew."
"Was this Alessa's room?" he blurted out.
"Alessa? No doubt Claudia has been idolizing again…and she had no business bringing you down here. I will have to speak to her again."
"No sir. I came down here because of Alice."
"We have no children here by that name."
"Not for a long time. She lived here before the fire."
"What?"
"Just for a few days."
"Who told you this?" he demanded, "Claudia?"
"I met her." Andy cried, knowing he'd said something wrong.
"Don't tell lies Mr. Morgan. The pair of you will go to the tower."
Andy didn't know why, but he felt bad for getting Claudia in trouble. And he didn't know why Mr. Wolf was so mad.
"I'm not lying!" he shouted in fear.
Mr. Wolf came towards him. He looked like a monster in the light from the torch. He grabbed Andy's wrist and pulled him from the room.
