A Cozy BAU Christmas-Ch 8
When everybody stepped into the living room Fran said, "alright we have plenty and I do mean plenty of bedrooms, we have 5 bedrooms with adjoining bathrooms downstairs and 8 upstairs so we have plenty of room".
Payton said, "thanks again Fran, everybody, for letting us celebrate the holidays with you, it means the world to us to get to spend another Christmas with our sister", Fran said, "honey, any family of Penelope's is family of ours", everybody nodded their heads yes in agreement as they went their separate ways to find their room and get their things situated.
As they headed toward the stairs Derek said, "sweetness, wanna share a room?", she said, "sure hotstuff", he said, "sweeeeeet" as they intertwined fingers and made their way down the hallwaytoward the huge bedroom that would be theirs through the holidays.
Penelope said, "this place is huge", Derek said, "Rossi wanted to make sure that they would always have plenty of room in case everybody dropped in at once and I'd say he's succeeded wouldn't you?", she laughed and said, "that I would my vision, that I would" as he pulled her into his arms and claimed her lips with his.
When they pulled apart he said, "I'm so happy right now, I don't remember ever being this happy", she said, "me either" as they walked across the room and made their way back downstairs to rejoin the others so they could get started with the usual holiday tasks.
Fran looked up when Reid and JJ walked into the room and said, "now that everybody is hereeeee, it's time to talk about the tree", Dave said, "aren't we going to go out and get one like we do every year?", she said, "yessssss and today is the day to do it because they are saying that we've got a snow storm moving in".
Paul said, "yeah they are saying that we might have a blizzard for Christmas", Reid looked around the room and said, "I do believe that I said that when we were having our cookout a few weeks ago", Penelope said, "yes you did my heap of gray matter, yes you did", Shelly smiled and said, "I'm getting excited about the snow".
Sandy said, "me too, it's been years since we've had snow for Christmas", Penelope said, "ohhhh we get snow here alotfor the holidays", Derek nodded his head and said, "it's really fun because we all go outside and play in the snow with Jack and Henry, we make a day of it, it's a real blast".
Hotch said, "wellllll, how about a few of us head out to get the tree while some of you get the ornaments out and then tonight we can put up the tree?", Fran said, "yes, I love that idea Aaron, love it" while the men were deciding who was going to get the tree and who was staying to help the women with the ornaments.
It was decided that Hotch, Reid, Derek and Dave would go get the tree and the Garcia brothers would stay and help the women get the decorations out of storage so that this evening after dinner they could all decorate the tree as a family.
