I've had this story for a very long time and I decided to post it on Wattpad now.

There was destruction and devastation everywhere, as if two legendary statues had been destroyed, the river's course had changed, and the waterfall that flowed between the statues had vanished after a battle between two new legends.

Amid the ruins, two figures lay on the ground, each missing one of their limbs.

The first figure was a nineteen-year-old girl with a sensual and developed body, black hair, slightly pale skin, a black right eye, and a purple left eye with strange patterns drawn on it.

She wore a purple haori with some bandages pressing on her slightly large chest, black pants, and matching sandals, missing her left arm.

The second figure was a boy of the same age with bright blonde hair like the sun, a blue left eye, and a swollen right eye from the blows he received.

He had a strange pattern of three lines on each cheek, brown skin, and wore a tattered orange jacket with some black accents, a mesh shirt, burned orange pants, and black sandals, missing his right arm due to their recent attack.

These figures were none other than Naruto Uzumaki Namikaze and his former teammate and girlfriend, Sayouri Uchiha, from Team Seven.

After the end of the war and re-sealing Kaguya on the moon, they decided they needed to end the old conflict between Indra Otsutsuki and his younger brother Asura.

As reincarnations of the Otsutsuki brothers, it was their duty to do so.

Sayouri spoke, "You fool, you won. Hahaha."

Naruto replied with a weak smile, "Did you have any doubt? I always keep my word and promises. I told you once that I would become the strongest, and I promised Sakura I would bring back her friend."

Sayouri turned her gaze to the blonde boy beside her and then looked up at the sky. "Thank you, Naruto-kun."

Naruto looked puzzled. "Why are you thanking me?"

"Because you held on to your great love for me and didn't abandon me all this time. So thank you, Naruto-kun," Sayouri answered.

Naruto responded indifferently to Sayouri's words, "I told you before, sayouri, I just keep my promises."

Sayouri noticed his omission of the affectionate suffix he usually used with her but chose not to comment on it.

While they were lying on the ground, two figures jumped down from the trees beside them- their teacher, Kakashi Hatake, and their teammate, Sakura Haruno.

Kakashi was wearing the standard jounin attire with a mask on his face, black eyes, and gray hair.

Sakura was wearing the same outfit but without the jounin vest and the right sleeve of the suit, with pink hair and green eyes, and a diamond on her forehead.

Kakashi looked at the condition of his students and looked down, acknowledging to himself that this was part of his fault.

Sakura screamed,

"Look at you fools! What were you thinking? You're still not recovered from the fight in the war and against Kaguya, and you're fighting each other again!"

Sakura screamed with tears streaming down her face before rushing to her teammates to do her part as the team medic.

Kakashi approached his young students along with Sakura, who was already treating them, until Naruto spoke.

"You can treat Sayouri. Kurama will take care of my wounds."

Kakashi interrupted him before he could finish, "Are you sure, Naruto? Your injuries are severe."

"Yes," Naruto confirmed his previous words without looking at him, as his body began to heal and the bleeding from his wounds, especially the severed arm, was contained.

While this was happening, Naruto glanced at Sayouri, his former girlfriend, and spoke with a serious tone, "Sayouri, can we retract the Tsukuyomi because-"

Sayouri looked at him and replied, "Yes." They sealed their remaining hands in a seal and both shouted, "Kai!" to save the alliance and the remaining people from the most dangerous genjutsu known in shinobi history.

Suddenly, the space around them changed, and they found themselves in a dark place surrounded by all nine biju and Hagoromo Otsutsuki, the Sage of Six Paths, who looked at them with eyes similar to Sayouri's left eye.

"Congratulations, my children. You have succeeded in stopping my mother and freeing the alliance."

At that moment, Naruto was already standing, and Sayouri was being supported by her friend with pink hair until Naruto spoke, "This is what we aimed for, old man."

Only to be interrupted by Kurama, the nine-tailed fox, shouting at Naruto, "Respect my father, you insolent brat!"

Hagoromo smiled at Naruto before turning serious and asked, "Tell me, my naruto, are you still committed to your decision?"

Naruto looked into Hagoromo's eyes and spoke without any compassion, "Yes, Sage. I am still committed to my decision."

Kakashi, Sakura, and Sayouri looked at the two of them with confusion until Kakashi asked,

"What is Hagoromo-sama talking about? What is Naruto's decision?"

Hagoromo looked at Kakashi and his students, seeing the same question in their eyes, and answered,

"Naruto agreed to seal my mother only if I create a gate that will take him from this world to another dimension not under the control of chakra."

Everyone was shocked by what the Sage of Six Paths said, and their faces showed their disbelief as they all shouted at the same time, "Why?"

Kakashi looked at his student and asked, "Why, Naruto? Are you going to abandon your comrades, your dream, Sakura, and me? And Sayouri, your friend? Don't you love her?"

Naruto remained in place, unaffected by the supposed emotional weight of his words.

"Oh, you know, the bright side of entering the Truth Waterfall is that I've purified myself of hatred. Otherwise, I would have killed you all a long time ago. But now, I don't really care about you, especially you and that bitch."

Everyone was shocked by Naruto's venomous words, the boy with the bright smile and the cheerful look in his eyes now looking at them as if they were strangers, with a cold expression.

Kakashi spoke angrily, "What do you mean, Naruto? How can you talk about your comrades this way, especially with your feelings and the woman you've always said you loved? Isn't that why you chased after her, and now, after succeeding, you're abandoning her?"

Before Kakashi could finish, Sakura screamed at Naruto,

"Is it true, Naruto? What Kakashi-sensei said. Why are you saying you don't care about us? We are your comrades. Damn it, it's true we weren't close before, but we became best friends, and now you say you don't care about us?"

Sayouri looked from the side with tears in her eyes and spoke slowly, "Naruto-kun, I know I wronged you in my quest for revenge, but I truly love you and always have, even if I never said it. You know this. Why are you saying such things?"

Naruto looked simply at each of them as they finished speaking and responded, "Is that all you have to say? My comrades?"

"The same people who laughed at me behind my back just days before the war started?"

"Or my close friend who laughed with me to my face and laughed at me with them behind my back?"

"Or my teacher who never taught me anything and betrayed me in the worst ways?"

"Or the same woman I loved while she was having sex behind my back before leaving the village with Shikamaru and Kiba, and even Shouji, who slept with her, and some of the remaining rookies after the Chunin Exams?"

Everyone was again shocked by Naruto's words, especially Sayouri and Kakashi, and they truly didn't know how to respond until Kakashi spoke quickly.

"Naruto, where did you hear all this? It's not true. Who told you this? They're manipulating you!" Kakashi spoke with fear at what his student had revealed.

"This is true, Naruto. We never laughed at you. And how could Kakashi-sensei betray you? It's unbelievable. And Sayouri could never betray you. She always told me before she left the village how much she loved you. Why are you saying this?" Sakura said.

Only for Sayouri to follow with a terrified and saddened expression, "Naruto-kun, I would never do that to you. I've always loved you, and even after I left, I loved you and still do."

"That's enough, Sakura. Stop defending her or him. Do you think I didn't hear your conversations with her years ago, or that I didn't see anything with my own eyes? Or do you want me to recount what happened?"
