Location: Beacon Academy – Ozpin's Office

The team gathered around the large, oak table in Ozpin's office, where a map of Vale and the surrounding regions was laid out. The lights above flickered faintly, casting an eerie glow on the room. Deadpool lounged in one of the chairs, his feet on the table, eating a bag of chips like it was any other day.

"We need answers," Ruby said, her voice serious as she looked at Ozpin. "Who is that person? Why are they after us?"

Ozpin, sitting behind his desk, steepled his fingers. "Balance McBroodyface—or whatever they may actually call themselves—is no ordinary foe. They belong to a group known as the Wardens of Equilibrium."

Deadpool almost choked on a chip. "Wait, wait. Did you say Wardens of Equilibrium? Sounds like a bunch of wannabe philosophers who got lost on the way to a book club."

Glynda, standing by the window with her arms crossed, cast Deadpool a sharp glare. "It's not a joke, Mr. Wilson. This group's purpose is to maintain what they believe is the natural order of the world. Anyone they see as disturbing that balance becomes their target."

Ruby blinked, her face confused. "So… we're disturbing the balance just by existing?"

"That's not it," Ozpin interjected. "The Wardens aren't after you for just being you. They're concerned with the increasing unrest in Remnant. The rise of the Grimm, the political instability in the kingdoms, and the activities of people like Cinder Fall."

Blake nodded, her expression pensive. "I've heard rumors of these Wardens. But no one's seen them in years. I thought they were a myth."

"The Wardens don't often reveal themselves," Ozpin explained. "They work from the shadows, manipulating events in the name of restoring what they believe is the correct flow of history. Anyone who disrupts that flow is considered an enemy."

Glynda's gaze hardened. "Including us."

Yang clenched her fists. "That's insane. We're just trying to save the world, and now we're the bad guys?"

Ozpin looked at her, his eyes somber. "In the eyes of the Wardens, yes. Your fight against Cinder and the Grimm, your rise to prominence—everything has thrown their vision of balance into disarray. They believe they must correct that, at any cost."

Deadpool leaned forward in his chair, intrigued. "So… what, they think they're the universe's ultimate janitors? Cleaning up the mess that is us?"

"That's one way of putting it," Ozpin replied dryly. "They consider themselves the arbiters of balance. And unfortunately, it's not a job that can be ignored."

A Plan in Motion

Ruby shook her head in disbelief. "This is too much. We're not the bad guys here! We have to prove that."

"We will," Weiss said, determined. "We just need to understand them better. If we can figure out their weaknesses, maybe we can stop them from making things worse."

Blake's eyes narrowed. "But how do we do that when they're so secretive?"

"I have an idea," Deadpool said suddenly, grinning widely. "Operation 'Find the Balance McBroodyface's Weak Spot.' Step one: bribery. Step two: interpretive dance."

Glynda closed her eyes, exhaling slowly as if trying to maintain composure. "Not again, Mr. Wilson."

Yang punched her fist into her other hand, cracking her knuckles. "Seriously though, how do we even get to them? They could be anywhere."

Ozpin sighed. "There is one place we can start. A place where the Wardens are known to frequent. The ancient ruins of Krosis Temple, deep in the wilderness."

Ruby's eyes lit up. "The Krosis Temple? I've read about that place! It's rumored to be a place where the Wardens hold their most private meetings."

"We'll need to be cautious," Ozpin warned. "If the Wardens are truly there, they'll be prepared for anyone who dares approach."

Blake bit her lip. "How do we even find it? The ruins are in the middle of nowhere."

"That's where I come in," Deadpool said with a wink. "I've got an excellent sense of direction. Plus, I've got charisma. Trust me, I'll charm the map right out of the nearest ancient artifact."

Weiss gave him a long look. "I can't tell if you're being serious or if this is just a strange dream I'm having."

Ruby clapped her hands together, excited. "Let's do it! We can't let these Wardens keep controlling everything. If we're going to protect Remnant, we need to know who we're really up against."

Location: Vale – Streets Near Krosis Temple

Team RWBY, along with Deadpool, set out from Beacon Academy the following day. The sun hung low on the horizon, casting a warm glow on their path as they journeyed deeper into the wilderness. The air was thick with tension, but also anticipation.

Ruby, Crescent Rose slung across her back, took the lead. "So, if this place is as important as they say, why haven't we heard more about it?"

Blake was scanning their surroundings. "The Temple has been mostly abandoned for centuries. Its history is mostly lost to time."

Yang stretched, her fiery energy crackling. "Great. A forgotten temple in the middle of nowhere. What could possibly go wrong?"

"Don't jinx it," Weiss said, though there was an underlying worry in her voice.

Deadpool, trailing behind, sighed. "Why does no one ever listen to me? I'm basically the team's emotional support disaster."

They walked in silence for a while, the distant sound of rustling trees and the occasional animal cry breaking the quiet. Finally, as the sun dipped below the horizon, they reached the outskirts of an eerie-looking valley. Dark, jagged stones peeked through the overgrowth.

"Welcome to Krosis Temple," Ruby whispered, eyes wide.

Ahead of them, partially hidden by the thick trees, stood the ancient stone ruins of a massive temple. Despite its age, it looked oddly… alive—as though it had been waiting for them.
